Abstract

Student learning independence is currently low, this is indicated by the lack of a variety of learning media used by teachers. The problem to be raised is that students are not independent in exploring their knowledge, including in science subjects (results from interviews with teachers at SDN 80 Kota Tengah). To overcome these problems, the purpose of this study is to develop an android-based gravity e-comic to increase student learning independence. The method used in this research is the R D (research development) method, the development model used to produce android-based gravity e-comics is four d, with steps namely define, design, development, disseminate. The data collection procedure is to describe the validity, practicality and effectiveness of the e-comics that are made. Data analysis uses analysis of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The results showed that the gravity e-comic developed was valid, received positive responses from students and was very good for training the learning independence of elementary school students, so it was feasible to use in the science learning process in elementary school. The conclusion of this study is that android-based gravity e-comics are valid, practical to use in the learning process, and effective in increasing student learning independence at the elementary school level

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model based on local Gorontalo cultural values ​​on the learning outcomes of simple aircraft concepts. This research is experimental, with the research design being a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study was all class VIII of SMP Negeri 8 Paguyaman for the 2023/2024 academic year. Research data was collected using test techniques. Then, the data was analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics, including normality tests, hypothesis tests, and n-gain analysis. The average score for all sample classes for class VIII students is greater than the minimum completion criteria (MCC), as shown by the average score for the experimental class of 81.97, replication class 1 of 80.91, and replication class 2 of 80.15, compared to the MCC of 75. Based on the course results, the average normalized gain obtained by the experimental class was 0.69, replication class 1 was 0.68, and replication class 2 was 0.68, meaning that all sample classes are in the medium category. Thus, the PjBL model based on local Gorontalo cultural values ​​has a significant effect on student learning outcomes in simple aircraft concepts

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sebuah produk berupa video animasi berbasis kearifan lokal pada mata pelajaran IPA. Kemudian dilakukan uji validasi untuk mengetahui kelayakan dan kualitas video animasi berbasis kearifan lokal. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan atau Research and Development (RD) dengan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahapan yaitu analisis, perancangan, pengemabangan, penerapan dan evaluasi. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara wawancara, observasi atau pengamatan, dan kuesioner (angket). Hasil uji validasi memperoleh rata-rata 3.62 diinterprestasikan kedalam kategori valid atau layak. Responden peserta didik terhadap video animasi berbasis kearifan lokal memperoleh hasil presentase sebesar 81% dengan kategori baik. Serta pencapaian presentase pada aktivitas peserta didik sebesar 88% dengan kategori baik. Berdasarkan data yang telah diperoleh maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa video animasi berbasis kearifan lokal pada mata pelajaran telah memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, efektif sehingga layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPA di sekolah.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yakni untuk mendeskripsikan validitas, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan media kartu kuartet berbantuan etnosains. Jenis penelitian ini ialah penelitian  RD dengan memakai model ADDIE. Subjek penelitian ini  masing-masing berjumlah 22 dan 19 siswa kelas VIII-3 dan VIII-4. Hasil penelitian  menunjukkan skor validasi ahli materi mencapai rata-rata 3,36 dengan kriteria valid, dan validasi media mencapai rata-rata 3,79 dengan kriteria sangat valid, yang dapat digunakan pada tahap selanjutnya. Kepraktisan media dapat dilihat dari a) hasil pelaksanaan pembelajaran pertemuan pertama dan kedua dinilai ‘’baik’’pada  kelas VIII-3 sebesar 88,89%, sedangkan pada kelas VIII-4 masing-masing memperoleh nilai 83,33 dan 88,89. b) respon peserta didik kelas VIII-3 dan VIII-4 mencapai standar sangat baik dengan memperoleh nilai rata-rata masing-masing 89,70 dan 89,17. Nilai keefektifan diperoleh dari kinerja: a) aktivitas peserta didik pada pertemuan 1 dan 2 kelas VIII-3 mencapai skor rata-rata 83,78% dan 88,21% sedangkan pada kelas VIII-4 mencapai skor rata-rata 84,20% dan 87,01%, dan b) tes pemahaman konsep kelas VIII-3 mempunyai rata-rata skor pre-test 32,32%, post-test 90,18%, serta diperoleh skor n-gain 0,86; pada kelas VIII-4 mencapai rata-rata skor pre-test sebesar 37,16%, skor post-test sebesar 89,05%, dan skor n-gain  kategori tinggi sebesar 0,83. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bisa disimpulkan bahwa media kartu kuartet berbantuan etnosains untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa SMP pada materi zat aditif makanan sudah layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran karena telah memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis dan efektif.

Abstract

Transformer oil insulation breakdown voltage testing is usually carried out at high AC voltage using the SPLN 49-1 1982 standard. The electrodes used are hemispherical electrodes with a distance between the electrodes of 2.5mm. The breakdown voltage value of transformer oil insulation that meets the standards according to SPLN 49-1 of 1982 is 30 kV/2.5mm. In this research, a new Shell Diala B brand transformer oil insulation breakdown voltage test was carried out using the SPLN 49-1 1982 testing standard. The novelty of this research is using various electrode shapes and different electrode materials to test the breakdown voltage of the transformer oil's liquid insulation. The method used in this research is an experimental method where the test is adapted to the SPLN 49-1 standard of 1982. The electrodes used are ball, needle, and plate electrodes. Based on test results at a distance between electrodes of 2.5 mm, it was found that the breakdown voltage characteristics of stainless steel, brass, copper, and aluminum electrode materials varied and did not meet the SPLN 49-1 1982 standard, namely 30 kV/2.5 mm.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the application of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) learning model on temperature and heat concepts on student learning outcomes. This research is experimental research, with the research design used being a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sampling technique used in this research was the total sampling technique. The population in this study was all class VII of MTs Al-Khairaat Kwandang for the 2023/2024 academic year. The sample in this study consisted of 3 classes, namely Class VII B as the experimental class, Class VII A as replication 1, and Class VII C as replication 2, where the experimental and replication classes were determined randomly by drawing lots. Research data was collected using test techniques, then the data was analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics, which include normality tests, hypothesis tests, and n-gain analysis. The results obtained for all sample classes, the average for class VII students is greater than the Criteria for Achieving Learning, which is shown by the average value of the experimental class of 85.49, replication 1 of 84.18, and replication 2 of 82.92. Based on the results of the course average normalized gain obtained by the experimental class was 0.78, replication 1 was 0.76, and replication 2 was 0.75, which means that all sample classes are in the high category. Thus, the PBL learning model has a significant effect on student learning outcomes in concepts of temperature and heat.

Abstract

The population of this study was class VII students of SMP Negeri 5 Gorontalo. The sample consists of 3 classes, namely experimental class, replication 1, and replication 2, with the sampling technique being Cluster Random Sampling. The instrument of research used was a learning outcomes test in the form of a pretest-posttest to see student learning outcomes. Then, the data was analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics, including normality tests, hypothesis tests, and n-gain analysis. The average score for class VII students is greater than the Criteria for Achieving Learning Goals, shown by an average score for the experimental class of 82.25, replication 1 of 79.94, and replication 2 of 79.04, compared to the Criteria for Achieving Learning Goals of 70. Based on the hypothesis testing criteria for the class, experimental Tcount 7.036 is greater than Ttable 2.035, replication 1 Tcount 6.684 is greater than Ttable 2.035, and replication 2 Tcount 5.824 is greater than Ttable 2.035 so it stated Tcount is more prominent than Ttable. This can be interpreted that the PBL model influences student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research aims to produce a product in the form of a learning E-module, namely an E-module based on local wisdom. Then a validation test was carried out to determine the feasibility and quality of the local wisdom-based e-module. This type of research is development research or Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model which consists of stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. Data collection techniques are by means of interviews, observations, and questionnaires. The validation test results obtained an average of 3.62 which was interpreted into the valid or appropriate category. Student respondents to the e-module obtained a percentage result of 86.11% in the very good category. As well as achieving a percentage of student activities of 84.5% in the good category. Based on the data that has been obtained, it can be concluded that the local wisdom-based e-module has met the criteria of being valid, practical, effective and therefore suitable for use in science learning at school.

Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan validitas, kepraktisan, dan kevalidan Media E-Leaflet Berbasis Budaya Lokal Gorontalo pada Materi Zat Aditif. Terkait permasalahan yang di dapat di SMP Negeri 2 Suwawa, yaitu metode pembelajaran yang digunakan berpusat pada guru. Media pembelajaran belum sepenuhnya digunakan dan pembelajarannya kurang memanfaatkan situasi nyata di lingkungan peserta didik atau belum ada pengintegrasian pembelajaran secara langsung yang berkaitan dengan budaya lokal, sehingga pemahaman mengenai materi yang diajarkan sulit dicerna, guru juga belum menerapkan E-leaflet dalam proses pembelajaran IPA. Sehingga dapat peneliti dapat mengembangkan media E-Leaflet berbasis budaya lokal Gorontalo. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) hasil validasi E-Leaflet Berbasis Budaya Lokal oleh 3 (tiga) validator memperoleh nilai rata-rata validasi 3,75 dan berada pada kategori valid dan bisa digunakan; (2) Aspek kepraktisan menunjukkan bahwa observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran memperoleh rata-rata persentase 84, 78% dengan kriteria baik. Respon peserta didik memperoleh rata-rata persentase yaitu 88,85% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Hasil yang diperoleh tersebut menunjukkan bahwa E-Leaflet yang dikembangkan praktis; dan (3) Aspek keefektifan menunjukkan bahwa observasi aktivitas peserta didik memperoleh rata-rata persentase pada uji coba 85, 49% dengan kriteria baik. Hasil yang diperoleh tersebut menunjukkan bahwa E-Leaflet yang dikembangkan efektif. Kata kunci: pengembangan; media e-leaflet; budaya lokal gorontalo ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study was to describe the validity, practicality, and validity of E-Leaflet Media Based on Gorontalo Local Culture on Additive Material. Regarding the problems found at SMP Negeri 2 Suwawa, namely the learning method used is teacher-centred. Learning media has not been fully used and the learning does not take advantage of real situations in the students' environment or there has been no direct integration of learning related to local culture, so understanding the material being taught is difficult to digest, teachers also have not implemented E-leaflets in the science learning process. So that researchers can develop E-Leaflet media based on local Gorontalo culture. The results showed that (1) The validation results of the Local Culture Based E-Leaflet by 3 (three) validators obtained an average validation value of 3.75 and were in the valid and usable category; (2) The practicality aspect shows that the observation of the implementation of learning obtains an average percentage of 84,78% with good criteria. Student responses obtained an average percentage of 88,85% with very good criteria. The results obtained show that the developed E-Leaflet is practical; and (3) The aspect of effectiveness shows that the observation of students' activities obtains an average percentage in the tryout of 85,49% with good criteria. Abstract

ABSTRAKTeknologi yang dikembangkan dalam pembelajaran akan lebih baik jika dihubungkan dengan kearifan lokal, salah satunya yakni penggunaan media pembelajaran berbantuan aplikasi flippingbook berbasis Kearifan lokal. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan kualitas (Validitas, Kepraktisan dan keefektifan) pengembangan media flippingbook pdi SMP Negeri 3 Kabila. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pengembangan (R&D) dengan pengembangan model  ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Hasil nilai rata-rata validasi sebesar 3,69 dan berada pada kategori “valid”; (2) Aspek Kepraktisan ditinjau dari keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dan respon peserta didik. Persentase rata-rata keterlaksanaan pembelajaran selama 3 pertemuan diperoleh rata-rata persentase sebesar 85% dengan kriteria “Baik” dan hasil rata-rata persentase dari angket respon peserta didik untuk keempat aspek diperoleh hasil rata-rata persentase untuk pernyataan positif sebesar 83% dan berada pada kriteria “Baik”; (3) Aspek keefektifan hanya ditinjau dari aktivitas peserta didik yang diperoleh persentase aktivitas peserta didik  sebesar 85% dengan kriteria “Baik”. Maka, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa kualitas Media Flippingbook berbasis Kearifan Lokal yang dikembangkan memenuhi aspek valid, praktis dan efektif untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran di kelas. Kata kunci: pengembangan; kearifan lokal; media flippingbook ABSTRACTTechnology developed in learning will be better if connected to local wisdom, one of which is the use of assisted learning media applications based on local wisdom. The results of the study showed that (1) The average validation value is 3.69 and is in the “valid” category; (2) The practical aspects are reviewed from the implementation of learning and response of students. The average percentage of learning implementation for meetings 1-3 is  85% with the criteria “ Good ” and the average percentage of student response questionnaires for the four is 83% and is in the “ Good ” criteria; (3) The effectiveness aspect is reviewed from students activities and obtain  an average student activity score 85% with criteria “ Good ”. So, the conclusion was obtained that the quality of the Local Wisdom-based Flippingbook Media is valid, practical and effective for use in classroom learning. Keywords: development; local wisdom; media flippingbook
