Abstract

Based on the findings of observations, it was determined that students in class V still lacked adequate communication skills. It was found that only 50% of students saw the other person when communicating, 50% of students with a clear voice when speaking, 40% of students used good grammar, 40% of students with mastery of material content, and 45% of students who used gestures and facial expressions as communication aids. This study aims to address the issue of students' verbal and nonverbal communication skills in class V UPT SD Negeri 51 Gresik in order to apply the role-playing method to social studies learning. Class Action Research Method (CAR). The steps taken to conduct this research were divided into four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The method of collecting data in this study is observing teacher activities, observing student activities, and observing students' communication skills. According to the findings of this study's analysis, using the role-playing technique enables students to develop effective communication with teachers and their peers. Then in the implementation of role playing or doing role play, students are more active and responsive from the beginning to the end of learning. Thus the role playing method to improve students' communication skills is declared effective.

Abstract

Media as a vehicle for distributing information or knowledge as a messenger. and the learning process because presenting the media as an intermediary can alleviate the ambiguity of the subjects in these learning activities. Media can represent what the teacher is unable to convey in front of the class, making it easier for students to understand lessons compared to without media. This research is a development research aimed at producing learning media in the form of a map of Indonesian culture. This research was conducted using a 4-D research type. The subjects of this study were fourth grade students at SDN 42 Gesik. The techniques used for data collection were media expert validation questionnaires, material expert validation questionnaires, and student response questionnaires. The results of the validation of media experts obtained 90% and material experts reached 93.75%, both of which indicated the "valid" category. Cultural map media is also very effective for use as a learning medium in class IV UPT SD Negeri 24 Gresik, by obtaining an average student response of 95.6% in the "very effective" category. So it can be concluded that the cultural map learning media on the diversity of the nation and culture of Indonesia meets valid criteria and is very effectively used in the learning process.

Abstract

Interaksi sosial adalah aspek kunci dari perkembangan siswa, namun banyak siswa sekolah dasar masih mengalami kesulitan dalam mengelola emosi mereka dalam pengaturan sosial. Kecerdasan emosional dianggap sebagai faktor penting yang memungkinkan siswa untuk mengenali, mengatur, dan mengekspresikan emosi secara efektif dalam hubungan sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh kecerdasan emosional siswa sekolah dasar terhadap interaksi sosial siswa melalui permainan tradisional gobak sodor asli Indonesia. Penelitian - penelitian tentang hubungan kecerdasan emosional dengan interaksi sosial tidak melibatkan kurikulum dan permainan tradisional. Design penelitian dilakukan dengan kuasi eksperimen melibatkan satu kelompok siswa dengan pretest – posttest dan menggunakan sampling jenuh. Jumlah subjek yang terlibat sebanyak 24 siswa SD di Gresik. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan instrument kuisioner yang tervalidasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji normalitas dan homogenitas, uji-t regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa dengan kecerdasan emosional yang lebih tinggi cenderung terlibat lebih efektif dalam interaksi sosial. Studi ini berkontribusi pada semakin banyak bukti yang menyoroti peran kecerdasan emosional dalam mendorong perkembangan sosial siswa. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada penerapan pelatihan kecerdasan emosional dalam konteks sekolah dasar negeri Indonesia. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa kecerdasan emosional berpengaruh signifikan terhadap interaksi sosial dalam permainan gobak sodor yang di integrasikan dalam kurikulum pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar. Berdasarkan hasil ini sangat direkomendasikan untuk mengintegrasikan permainan-permainan tradisional dalam pembelajaran di kelas guna memberikan efek positif terhadap kemampuan interaksi sosial siswa.
