Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of global uncertainty on Indonesia's economic stability in the period 2020-2025. Global uncertainty triggered by various external factors such as the global health crisis (covid-19 pandemic), commodity price fluctuations, changes in international trade policies, and geopolitical tensions, can have a significant impact on the economies of developing countries such as Indonesia. This study examines how global uncertainty affects Indonesia's key economic indicators, including economic growth, inflation, the rupiah exchange rate, and foreign investment flows. The method used in this study is econometric analysis with multiple linear regression model, which involves secondary data from various official sources such as Bank Indonesia, Central Bureau of Statistics, and international institutions. The results of this study are expected to provide a clearer picture of the extent to which global uncertainty affects Indonesia's economic stability and what economic policies need to be taken by the government to maintain economic stability in the face of external threats. In addition, the study will also identify sectors of the economy that are more vulnerable to the impact of global uncertainty and provide policy recommendations that can strengthen Indonesia's economic resilience.

Abstract

This study explores the challenges faced by law students in Sidrap Regency when learning Legal English, with a specific focus on the roles of vocabulary acquisition and student motivation. Legal English, as a specialized form of language used in the legal profession, poses unique learning challenges, particularly in terms of its complex terminology and concepts. The research highlights how a limited vocabulary can hinder students' understanding and application of legal texts, while also examining the impact of motivation on the learning process. Through a mixed-methods approach, the study gathers data from both surveys and interviews with law students in Sidrap Regency, aiming to uncover the strategies employed to overcome these obstacles and the factors that influence their motivation. The findings suggest that while vocabulary expansion is crucial, fostering intrinsic motivation through relevant teaching methods and a supportive learning environment can significantly enhance students' engagement and proficiency in Legal English. This research contributes to the understanding of effective pedagogical approaches in teaching Legal English to law students in regional contexts

Abstract

This paper was written to answer three important questions, namely knowing the narrative trend and the transformation model for blasphemy offenses in Indonesian legislation. Religious offenses are the only state instrument to crackdown on perpetrators of blasphemy. The implementation of the blasphemy offense in practice has been criticized, especially in relation to human rights violations. The results of this study confirm three things, firstly, religious offenses were first regulated through a Circular Letter of the Supreme Court in 1964 and PNPS Number 1 1965 which were designed to prevent the deviation of religious teachings and to protect religious peace. Blasphemy offenses were included in the Criminal Code in the New Order, then strengthened in the Reformation Era by incorporating blasphemy offenses into Law No. 11 of 2008. Second, the transformation of religious offenses stems from the British code applied in India, adopted by the Dutch colonial government and used in the region. Dutch East Indies because there are many similarities in cultural diversity between India and Indonesia. Third, the conception of religious offenses in KUHP makes religious blasphemy the basis for criminal acts. Religion is not the only element of a crime, but as an element that is an important part of a crime. Implementation of the guarantee of freedom of religion is indeed not easy to do because of differences in the definition of religion and freedom of religion; different definitions of human rights; and differences in the meaning of human rights protection.
