Abstract

Land conversion, pollution, logging, and the use of pesticides are the main causes of butterfly extinction. This used 50 types of butterflies using different RGB colors obtained from the Kaggle website. The goal is to separate the butterfly object from the background and produce the best accuracy from the segmentation proses. The method used is Multilevel Thresholding. The results of preprocessing on the image using Multilevel Thresholding segmentation are able to identify colors and butterfly objects. The first step is RGB image input, then the image is Segmented using Multilevel Thresholding. After that, the output is displaying the image, and using a threshold value of 0-255 with the results of image segmentation, the threshold value separates the object and the background. Multilevel Thresholding segmentation with color and shape identification obtains threshold values of 100 from the dataset train, 100, and 110 from the test dataset and 140, and 150 from the validation dataset. It was concluded that the results of threshold value of the Multilevel Thresholding segmentation obtained good results

Abstract

This research aims to develop game-based learning to improve deaf students' understanding of energy source material. The research method used in this study is research and development (RnD) to obtain comprehensive information in analyzing the learning barriers experienced by deaf students as the basis for developing game-based learning media. The subjects in this study were deaf students in grade VII who experienced learning barriers in energy source material. The result of this research is game-based learning media on energy source material for deaf students in grade VII. The content and material of energy sources contained in the game-based learning media have been adjusted to the learning needs and characteristics of deaf students. The results showed that this game-based learning media is effective to improve the learning needs of deaf students on energy source material. In addition to being useful for deaf students, this educational game-based learning media is also expected to be used for other students who are learning science on energy source material.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the utilization of a Decision Support System (DSS) in the loan application approval process using the SMART method. DSS helps identify, assess, and mitigate various types of risks associated with loans, enhancing the efficiency and productivity of loan processing operations. By automating repetitive tasks, streamlining workflows, and reducing manual intervention, it improves customer satisfaction by providing faster response times. DSS also helps lenders comply with applicable laws and regulations by incorporating compliance checks, regulatory guidelines, and audit trails into the loan processing workflow, thereby reducing the costs and risks associated with manual processes, errors, and inefficiencies in loan processing. Traditional loan assessment methods often require manual processes, leading to delays and inaccuracies. The SMART method (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound) offers a structured approach to implementing DSS with clear and measurable outcomes. By leveraging DSS, lenders can streamline the loan application process, enhance decision-making accuracy, and improve customer satisfaction. This study will investigate the use of a SMART-based DSS in the loan application workflow and provide insights into best practices for implementing a SMART-based DSS solution in lending institutions. The findings of this research will contribute to the optimization of loan application processes and the improvement of decision-making capabilities in the financial industry, consistently, objectively, and more quickly. The system has the capability to collect, store, and manage data related to loan applications.

Abstract

This research is meant to prove the result of aesthetic aspect in wayang kulit performance of Jawa Timur style categorized as ‘kerakyatan (folk)’ pakeliran. The problem is analyzed based on the concept of ‘garap pakeliran’ offered by Sugeng Nugroho (2012) and the theory belongs to Umar Kayam (1981) concerning arts categorization. The method used is qualitative method with descriptive analysis. The data is collected through library study, documentation studies, interview, and field observation. The research finding shows that the current wayang kulit performance of Jawa Timur style cannot be categorized as folk art but rather to be kitsch. It represents a performing art that always change and move on along the time. Abstract

Media pembelajaran merupakan salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi kegiatan pengajaran dan pembelajaran. Media pembelajaran IPA sangat dibutuhkan siswa tunarungu untuk memfasilitasi proses pembelajaran. Tidak tersedianya media pembelajaran khusus untuk siswa tunarungu merupakan kendala dalam pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu diperlukan penelitian untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran khusus untuk siswa tunarungu agar pembelajaran menjadi lebih mudah dan dapat dipahami siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui proses pengembangan majalah Educa pada materi sistem peredaran darah manusia untuk siswa tunarungu kelas XI SMALB dan untuk mengetahui kualitas majalah Educa sebagai media pembelajaran IPA.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development). Prosedur pengembangan menggunakan model Borg and Gall yang terdiri dari : potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi desain, uji coba produk dan yang terakhir revisi produk. Instrument penilaian yang digunakan untuk mengetahui kualitas majalah Educaadalah ;lembar angket. Validasi desain dilakukan oleh ahli materi, ahli media dan ahli PLB Tunarungu. Sedangkan subyek uji coba adalah siswa tunarungu kelas XI dan guru kelas SMALB. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif. Hasil akhir dari penelitian pengembangan ini adalah terciptanya majalah Educa yang layak digunakan untuk anak tunarungu. Hasil penilaian majalah Educa oleh ahli materi diperoleh presentase97,67% dengan kategori sangat baik, ahli media diperoleh presentase 94,29% dengan kategori sangat baik, sedangkan ahli PLB Tunarungu diperoleh presentase 78,57% dengan kategori baik. Keterbacaan siswa tunarungu terhadap majalah Educa pada uji coba terbatas diperoleh presentase 94,82% dengan kategori tinggi. Sedangkan respon siswa dan guru terhadap majalah Educa pada uji coba lapangan utama menunjukkan presentase 84,44% untuk respon siswa tunarungu dan 85,33% untuk respon guru. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa majalah Educa layak digunakan untuk media pembelajaran IPA siswa tunarungu.

Abstract

Every sector including aquaculture should be prepared to cope with climate change impacts. Climate change impacts to aquaculture can bring any change to instability of socio-economy and the environment due to its role to support food security, employment and economic growth. Management of aquaculture needs to be modified to face this challenge, not only adaptation efforts but also mitigation efforts. Energy consumption is one of significant source of Green House Gasses (GHG) emission. Therefore, it is necessary to know the detail of energy consumption in aquaculture to find the proper strategy in reducing GHG emission from its operational. This study aimed: (1) to identify sort of energy source used in FNCA; (2) to identify the factors that influences the energy consumption of FNCA. This research was conducted in Cirata Reservoir, West Java Province, Indonesia. This research was conducted in Cirata Reservoir, West Java Province. Quatitative method was applied in this research. The research methodology involved: (1) in depht interview, (2) analysis of existing data through institutional reports and (3) observation. This study showed that: (1) farmers of FNCA in Cirata reservoir consume renewable and non-renewable energy for their daily activities; (2) factors that influence the energy consumption in FNCA are location, operational pattern, number of dwellers, types of boat and electricity sources.
