Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan respon siswa terhadap penggunaan media ClassPoint dalam pembelajaran menulis teks argumentasi. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh perlunya media interaktif yang mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan dan pemahaman siswa dalam pembelajaran menulis. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa angket yang diberikan kepada 30 siswa kelas XI di SMA Negeri 2 Tambang. Instrumen angket disusun berdasarkan lima aspek, yaitu motivasi belajar, keterlibatan aktif, pemahaman materi, kenyamanan, dan efektivitas media. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis ClassPoint. Aspek kenyamanan dan efektivitas media memperoleh skor tertinggi (masing-masing 82%), diikuti oleh pemahaman materi (80%), motivasi belajar (78,7%), dan keterlibatan aktif (76%). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa media interaktif seperti ClassPoint mampu meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran menulis teks argumentasi melalui peningkatan motivasi, kenyamanan, pemahaman, partisipasi siswa, dan efektivitas media.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemahiran siswa dalam menulis teks cerpen. Jenis penelitian ini ialah deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini merupakan seluruh siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Bintan Timur Tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024 yang berjumlah 350 dengan total sampel 78 orang siswa dari 10 kelas. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah teknik tes tertulis, yaitu tes yang meminta siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Bintan Timur Tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024 menulis teks cerpen. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan nilai kemahiran menulis cerpen siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Bintan Timur Tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024, yaitu masuk ke dalam kelompok penilaian Baik dengan kualifikasi "B", karena berada pada tingkat penguasaan rentang nilai 70-85 paling banyak, yaitu 39 siswa, dengan kategori “A” kualifikasi “Sangat Baik” dengan rentang nilai 86-100 berjumlah 18 siswa, kategori “B” kualifikasi “Baik” dengan rentang nilai 70-85 berjumlah 39 siswa, kategori “C” kualifikasi “Cukup” dengan rentang nilai 55-69 berjumlah 16 siswa dan kategori “D” kualifikasi “Sangat Tidak Baik” dengan rentang nilai < 55 berjumlah 5 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian Kemahiran Menulis Cerpen Siswa Kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Bintan Timur Tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024, meraih nilai rata-rata 75,58% berada pada kualifikasi “Baik”.

Abstract

This research discusses the code mixing found in speech between sellers and buyers of otak-otak in Sungai Enam Laut, East Bintan District, Bintan Regency. The aim of this research is to describe forms of code mixing in speech between sellers and buyers of Otak-Otak Sungai Enam Laut, East Bintan District, Bintan Regency. The method used is qualitative descriptive qualitative. The data in this research are in the form of code mixing. The data collection technique used to obtain research data is the observation method technique. This observation technique is supported by using documentation techniques, listening techniques, note-taking techniques and recording techniques. The results of this research are that there are forms of code mixing in the form of 1) word insertion, 2) phrase insertion, 3) word repetition insertion, and 4) clause insertion.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Analisis Nilai Moral Dalam Film Ballerina Karya Lee Chung Hyun Skripsi. Metode yang digunakan peneliti ini adalah deskriptif dengan mengunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Intrumen penelitian ini yaitu peneliti itu sendiri dengan tabel pedoman analisis data. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu nilai moral yang terkandung dalam Film Ballerina Tinjauan Pendekatan Pragmatik Sastra. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah Simak catat, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil peneltian yang didapatkan yaitu sebanyak delapan belas nilai moral dalam Film Ballerina yaitu lima data tolong menolong empat data bersahabat, dua data tanggung jawab, tiga data menghargai, dua data tepati janji, dua data peduli sesama teman, tiga data data cinta damai dua data

Abstract

This study aims to describe the character education values contained in the novel Lintang: Perjalanan Getir Seorang Perempuan by Nana Rina. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The main instrument in this study is the researcher herself, supported by data analysis guidelines. The data in this study consist of words or sentences found in the novel Lintang: Perjalanan Getir Seorang Perempuan by Nana Rina. The data collection techniques used include reading, quoting, analyzing data into a research work table, and finally drawing conclusions. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and data validation, as well as data validity techniques. The results of this study show fifteen character education values found in the novel: (1) religious, (2) honest, (3) tolerance, (4) discipline, (5) hard work, (6) creativity, (7) independence, (8) curiosity, (9) national spirit, (10) appreciation of achievement, (11) friendliness/communicative, (12) love of peace, (13) fondness for reading, (14) social care, and (15) responsibility.

Abstract

Implementasi Gerakan Literasi Sekolah tercermin dalam kegiatan rutin membaca buku non-pelajaran sebelum jam belajar. Namun, bahan bacaan yang tersedia di SMP Negeri 1 Bintan Timur masih umum karena berasal dari pusat. Hanya sedikit bahan bacaan yang memperkenalkan budaya setempat. Guru sudah menghasilkan beberapa naskah bahan bacaan anak pada penelitian sebelumnya, namun belum diterbitkan karena naskah tidak memiliki ilustrasi. Bahan bacaan anak jenjang B minimal harus memuat 70% ilustrasi. Oleh sebab itu, kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memanfaatkan Artificial Intelligence (AI) dalam pembuatan ilustrasi bahan bacaan anak berbasis kemaritiman. Kegiatan PKM ini menggunakan metode pelatihan dengan tiga tahap, yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Tahap persiapan dilakukan dengan menyusun modul pelatihan. Tahap pelaksanaan dilakukan dengan penyebaran pre-test, pemberian materi, sekaligus pendampingan langsung. Sementara itu, pendampingan daring dilaksanakan selama 2 bulan. Tahap evaluasi dilakukan dengan pengisian post-test dan angket respon peserta. Melalui analisis data, didapati hasil berupa peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta dalam menyusun bahan bacaan anak berbasis kemaritiman dengan memanfaatkan AI. Selain itu, respon peserta pelatihan sangat baik dan manfaat PKM ini dapat dirasakan oleh peserta pelatihan di SMPN 1 Bintan Timur. Luaran kegiatan ini berupa buku cerita anak berbasis kemaritiman yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan bacaan saat kegiatan Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS).

Abstract

This study discusses the analysis of journalistic language use in the online media Batamnews. The research data source comes from news published in the June edition of Batamnews. The data studied are words and sentences contained in the news. Data collection techniques used include documentation and hermeneutics. The data analysis technique applied is content analysis, which is carried out through the stages of reading, analyzing, describing, and concluding the forms of journalistic language use in the online media Batamnews. This study aims to describe how journalistic language is used in the media. The method used is a qualitative descriptive method, in which the researcher acts as the main instrument, assisted by a data analysis guideline table. The results show that there are 21 news items in the June edition that do not fully comply with journalistic language rules. This nonconformity is found in the aspect of the use of short and concise language, straightforward, clear, and populist.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Malay cultural values ​​contained in the myths of the Penyengat Island community. As an element of oral literature, myths not only function as traditional stories but also as a tool for passing on Malay cultural values ​​that reflect the Malay community's perspective on life. The approach used in this study is qualitative with a descriptive research type. The data used are myth narratives that developed in the Penyengat Island community, which were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques were carried out through the steps of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The findings of this study indicate that myths on Penyengat Island contain Malay cultural values, such as religiosity, environmental utilization, mutual assistance, advice, compassion, harmony, wisdom, honesty, and persistence. These values ​​reflect the interaction between humans with God, nature, others, and themselves. Therefore, myths not only function as cultural heritage but also as a medium for shaping the character and life guidelines of the Malay community. It is hoped that this research can contribute to efforts to preserve oral literature and increase the younger generation's understanding of local cultural values.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effect of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) learning model assisted by the Kahoot application on the poetry reading skills of eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 6 Bintan Timur with a population of 73 students and a sample of 44 students in Indonesian language learning. This study is quantitative descriptive. This study used an experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The data collection technique was an objective test. Based on the normality test, the research data showed that the data were normally distributed. The t-test results showed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, so it can be stated that the hypothesis is accepted. This means that there is an effect of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model assisted by the Kahoot application on the poetry reading skills of eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 6 Bintan Timur in the 2024/2025 academic year.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the rhetorical style in the novel Bila Esok Ibu Tiada. The method used in this study is descriptive. The type of research is qualitative. The data collection technique is reading and note-taking. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The instrument in this study used a rhetorical style analysis method based on the theory of Saryono, et al. The results of this study obtained 49 forms of rhetorical style as follows: Climax style, which states a word sequentially with increasing intensity, with 8 data points; anticlimax, which decreases in intensity, with 1 data point; and gradation, which consists of several ideas stated with sequential words. Words mentioned at the end of the first idea are repeated at the beginning of the second idea, words mentioned at the end of the second idea are repeated at the beginning of the third idea, and so on, with 6 data points; paradox, which contains a real contradiction with existing facts, with 1 data point; pleonasm, which uses more words than necessary, with 5 data points; tautology uses repetition of meaning as an explanation, there is 1 data, antithesis is a style of language that describes something using words with opposite meanings, there is 1 data, repetition or repetition of words, there are 5 data, anaphora is the repetition of words at the beginning of a sentence, there are 10 data, epiphora is the repetition of words at the end of sentences in 8 data points, assonance in the form of vowel repetition in 1 data point, and dissonance or combinations of unpleasant sounds in 2 data points.
