Abstract

Etika dalam pendidikan merupakan elemen kunci yang menjaga integritas akademik, keadilan, dan kepercayaan dalam proses belajar mengajar. Di era modern, dengan kemajuan teknologi dan globalisasi, pentingnya etika semakin meningkat. Etika membantu menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang adil, inklusif, dan mendukung, serta memainkan peran penting dalam pembentukan karakter siswa. Kasus-kasus seperti plagiarisme, manipulasi data, dan publikasi di jurnal predator menyoroti tantangan etika yang dihadapi oleh institusi pendidikan. Pendidikan dan pelatihan etika, serta kebijakan yang jelas dan pengawasan ketat, sangat penting untuk mengatasi tantangan ini dan memastikan bahwa pendidikan berjalan dengan integritas dan tanggung jawab. Namun, implementasi etika dalam pendidikan menghadapi berbagai tantangan di era modern. Teknologi digital memudahkan plagiarisme, sementara tekanan akademik mendorong kecurangan. Globalisasi membawa keragaman nilai budaya, yang dapat menimbulkan dilema dalam penerapan standar etika yang seragam. Media sosial juga menghadirkan risiko penyalahgunaan dan masalah privasi. Untuk mengatasi tantangan ini, strategi seperti penggunaan teknologi dengan bijak, membangun budaya etis, dan memberikan penghargaan kepada perilaku etis diperlukan. Dengan pendekatan yang tepat, etika dalam pendidikan dapat berfungsi sebagai landasan untuk menciptakan lingkungan akademik yang adil dan bertanggung jawab, memastikan perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan yang bermanfaat bagi masyarakat.

Abstract

The design of a Message Queuing Telemetry Transport (MQTT) server for the Internet of Things (IoT) utilizes Eclipse Mosquitto as the core server software. The process begins with installation and basic configuration, including port setup, authentication, and encryption to ensure secure communication. Further customization is implemented to meet specific project requirements, such as configuring connection protocols, access permissions, quality of service (QoS) levels, and message retention policies. Integration with other Eclipse platforms, such as Eclipse Paho, supports the development of MQTT clients for IoT devices, enabling bidirectional communication between the server and devices. Additional tools like Eclipse Vert.x or Eclipse Hono may also be utilized to enhance device management and enable more complex message processing. Testing results indicate that the MQTT server implemented on a Raspberry Pi 3 B+ successfully received and transmitted data. The ESP32 device also achieved successful data communication via the MQTT server. The system can be accessed across different networks, offering flexible communication without reliance on the same local network. This implementation demonstrates the reliability of MQTT as a robust solution for IoT communication.

Abstract

Bagi pasien DM, proses perawatan merupakan suatu rangkaian rutinitas yang berlangsung seumur hidup. Hal tersebut bukan suatu yang mudah untuk dilakukan. Pasien DM biasanya akan merasakan jenuh dan penat setiap saat yang menyebabkan kelelahan. Dukungan keluarga berupa motivasi sangat diperlukan untuk membantu pasien DM untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan diri (self efficacy) dalam kemampuan untuk melakukan perawatan dan pengobatan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan motivasi keluarga dan dukungan spiritual dengan self efficacy pasien diabetes mellitus di RSUD Kota Sabang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei bersifat deskriptif analitik dengan rancangan Cross Sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pasien dengan penyakit DM di RSUD Kota Sabang sebanyak 168 orang. Teknik pengambilan subjek menggunakan purposive sampling sebanyak 63 orang. Analisa data penelitian adalah analisis univariat dan bivariat dengan uji chi square. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan terdapat hubungan antara motivasi keluarga (p= 0,046) dan dukungan spiritual (p= 0,002) dengan self-efficacy pasien diabetes mellitus. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah hubungan antara motivasi keluarga dan dukungan spiritual dengan self-efficacy pasien diabetes mellitus.

Abstract

Optimizing bilingual learning through PheT media is one of the conscious efforts of teachers to improve students' critical thinking skills. This study aims to optimize bilingual learning using Phet's media on the critical thinking skills of class XI students at SMA Teuku Nyak Arif Fatih Bilingual School. This type of research is quasi-experimental that uses a nonequivalent control group design model. The population in this study was all class XI which amounted to 2 classes. The sample in this study was taken using a total sampling technique, namely the number of samples equal to the total population of 36 students. The data collection technique used is pretest and posttest learning outcomes tests. The data analysis technique used a two-party t-test with the normality test and homogeneity test first as a prerequisite for the analysis. The results obtained based on data analysis using a two-party t-test, namely - . So according to the hypothesis then is accepted and is rejected, it can be concluded that bilingual learning using PheT media is not optimal to improve the critical thinking skills of students at SMA Teuku Nyak Arif Fatih Bilingual School.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and differentiate the level of understanding of the electrical concepts of students' Grade XII Senior High Schools in Central Aceh. The population of this study was all students of Science students Grade XII Senior High Schools in Central Aceh which consisted of 19 senior high schools. The sample in this study were 115 students from six senior high schools in Central Aceh. The determination of the sample is done by purposive sampling. The approach which used is a qualitative approach with the type of descriptive research. Data collection techniques in this study used the test method. The form of the test instrument used is in the form of a three-tier test with a total of 12 items. The technique of data analysis was used in this study is percentage analysis. The percentage of the results shows there were 7.72% of students understood the concept, 51.52% of students lacked understanding of the concept, and 40.72% of misconceptions students. Thus, it can be concluded that the level of understanding of the electrical concepts of students senior high school in Central Aceh is at level 5 means very poor. As further recommendation for similar research it is best to not only identify the understanding of concepts, but also to overcome the lack of understanding of concepts and misconceptions in students so that students' understanding of concepts increases, especially in electrical concepts.

Abstract

Students critical thinking skill of class X MIA-1 in SMAN 2 Bukit is very low. There is the effort to improve critical thinking of students applying Project Based Learning model (PjBL). The purpose of this research is to determine whether there is an enhancement in students critical thinking skills using the Project Based Learning model. This research is Classroom Action Research which was carried out as many as III cycles. The subjects in this research were all students of Class X MIA-1 in SMAN 2 Bukit, consisted of 16 students. The instrument used to collect the data was tests including pre-test, post-test, teacher and student activity sheets, and observation sheets of learning management using Project Based Learning model. The results showed that students critical thinking skill when Project Based Learning model applied was better than the learning which was not using The Project Based Learning model. It happened because using Project Based Learning model, the students played a role actively as learning center were given an issue in the project then they were asked to solve it.

Abstract

The Correlational research with this quantitative approach aims to determine the relationship between the ability to memorize the Al-Quran and the results of physics learning at the Ulumul Quran Senior High School Sigli. The sample in this study were students of Ulumul Quran State Senior High School class XI Sigli totaling 29 people. Data collection was obtained with documentation for the ability to memorize the Al-Quran and test instruments for the results of learning physics. Processing data using correlation coefficients and hypothesis testing through the product moment equation. The results of the correlation coefficient show the ability to memorize the Al-Quran with the results of physics learning students of Ulumul Quran Public High School Sigli with a calculation of 0.427 categorized as medium and the results of hypothesis testing obtained rcount rtabel that is 0.427 0.367 then the research hypothesis is rejected, meaning there is a significant relationship between the ability to memorize the Al-Quran and the results of physics learning of the students of the Ulumul Quran State High School Sigli.

Abstract

Highland agricultural landscapes are sensitive to environmental variation, particularly in regions like the Gayo Highlands of Aceh, Indonesia, where Arabica coffee (Coffea arabica L.) is a major crop. While parasitic nematodes are known to affect crop health and soil ecosystems, little is known about how their abundance and distribution vary with elevation in tropical coffee systems. The Gayo Highlands, despite their significant contribution to national coffee production, have been understudied in terms of soil biodiversity and nematode-related threats. To address this knowledge gap, we assessed the composition and abundance of parasitic nematodes in coffee plantations across three elevation zones: 800–1000 m, 1001–1200 m, and 1201–1400 m above sea level. We collected soil and root samples from symptomatic coffee plants, extracted nematodes using the Baermann funnel method, and identified them to the genus level. The study found three genera: Pratylenchus, Meloidogyne, and Rotylenchus. Pratylenchus was the most abundant, particularly at 800–1,000 m (34 individuals/10 ml), while the highest total nematode abundance occurred at 1,001–1,200 m (7.2 ± 1.44 individuals/10 ml). Statistical analysis showed significant differences in nematode abundance between elevation zones. These results indicate that elevation influences nematode populations, likely through environmental factors such as temperature, soil moisture, and pH. Understanding these patterns is important for developing site-specific strategies for pest management and maintaining soil health in highland coffee systems.

Abstract

The limited integration of technology and innovative approaches in physics education has frequently hindered students' ability to comprehend abstract and complex concepts, contributing to suboptimal learning outcomes. This study investigates the impact of google sites-based physics instructional media, implemented in conjunction with a problem based learning model, on the learning outcomes of class XI students at SMAN 1 Darul Imarah, explicitly focusing on momentum and impulse topics. This research employs a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental methodology with a nonequivalent control group design. The entire cohort of class XI students served as the population, with purposive sampling used to select class XI F-4 as the experimental group and XI F-5 as the control group. Data collection was performed through pretests and posttests, utilizing 20 multiple-choice questions designed to assess student comprehension. Data analysis was conducted using an independent sample t-test to determine the significance of differences between groups. The analysis revealed that a t-value (count) of 2.205 exceeded the critical t-value (table) of 1.996, indicating a statistically significant difference in learning outcomes associated with google sites-based physics instructional media using the probkem based learning model with respect to learning outcomes. These findings demonstrate that the integration of google sites as an instructional medium, coupled with the problem based learning approach, significantly enhances students' learning outcomes in the study of momentum and impulse.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether or not there was an increase in the cognitive abilities of student learning by applying discussion learning to teaching and learning strategies and student responses to the application of discussion learning. The research was carried out in the physics education department that followed the teaching and learning strategies. The population in this study were all students who took the teaching semester strategy V semester 2019 as many as 60 people. While the research sample was 27 students class 01. Sample selection by purposive sampling. The research method used is the Pre Experiment with the design of Pre test and Post test One Group. The results showed that: tcount> ttable means 20.21 > 1.71. This shows an increase in cognitive learning of students who are taught by learning discussion. While the response of students to the learning process of discussion strongly agreed and agreed at 94.06%. In accordance with the criteria of the percentage of student responses, the response to learning discussion is in the range of 76-100% including the very interested category. Students are motivated to learn by learning discussions that practice his thinking skills and critical thinking in conveying the ideas discussed in class and arises self-confidence in expressing ideas and opinions to others.
