Abstract

This study aims to compare research design. The population studied comprises active PPKn students, with a sample selected randomly using a random sampling technique. The classical assumption tests in this study include normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity tests. Data collection was conducted through a questionnaire that had been previously tested for validity and reliability. Hypothesis testing in this study was carried out using two analytical models: simple linear regression and multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate a significant impact of the use of facilities and the availability of infrastructure on the quality of students in the Pancasila and Civic Education program at PGRI University Semarang. Through this research, student quality can be measured using three indicators: knowledge, attitude, and skills. High-quality students are expected to have a good attitude towards their surroundings, possess extensive knowledge, and have proficient skills, thus being able to benefit to other.

Abstract

This research is based on direct observation at the Semarang City KPU, which shows that there are many problems in the registration of candidates for DPRD members, including registration information that is less informative, the time requirements and nominations are considered limited, and many more problems that can be explained descriptively. The purpose of this research is to find out the registration process of candidates for members of the Semarang City Regional People's Representative Council in the 2024 general election. The type of research used is qualitative with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study are in accordance with the research indicators, which show that the Semarang City KPU carries out the registration process for candidates for the Semarang City DPRD according to the regulations and standards set by the KPU of the Republic of Indonesia with the help of the nomination information system (Silon). The Semarang City KPU has organised the General Election in Semarang City according to the principle of LUBER JURDIL by determining the implementation according to the objectives, regulations, and standards for organising the election in 2024. This can be seen from the implementation of elections that have implemented national, permanent, and independent characteristics.

Abstract

This study was carried out with the rapid development of technology affecting the world of education, varied learning media is a demand for educators to increase students' learning motivation due to internal and external factors (such as students feeling bored when class time starts until it ends, students feeling a lack of enthusiasm for learning when teachers use the lecture method, especially class XI). This research is intended as a form of knowledge about the Wordwall application to increase student learning motivation. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with Abraham H. Maslow's learning motivation theory approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. This research produced information on the wordwall application to increase student learning motivation in Pancasila Education subjects at UPGRIS Laboratory High School. In this research, the indicators for designing, analyzing, implementing, evaluating, identifying, and recommending the implementation of the wordwall application are appropriate. However, the implementation process still has obstacles, namely that it requires quite a lot of time planning and the student's network devices are not yet optimal. several factors become obstacles in its implementation, namely having to enter, adjust, and choose a system in the application to enter material and student network devices that are not yet optimal. In this way, teachers must manage their time well and the school must improve adequate Wifi network equipment

Abstract

Many character education programs in Indonesia are carried out with various efforts through curriculum improvements from year to year. In addition to being a milestone in the success of education, character education is also carried out to prepare the nation's leaders. However, moral degradation is a challenge faced by the Indonesian nation today. Thus, character education in Indonesia is the main goal in the design of national education. The researcher describes the concept of character education of Imam Muhammad Abu Zahra through three hierarchies, namely; First. The period of structuring the human person. Second, the emphasis on the interest of prospective students. Third, deepening and specializing in the interests of student talents. Then, in addition to these three hierarchies, there are also four educational processes, namely; Spirit education, body education, Akhlaq education, and Aqliyah education. According to researchers, this concept can contribute to character education in Indonesia in the future.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menganalisis kevalidan, kepraktisan, serta keefektifan bahan ajar berbasis Canva dalam pembelajaran berdiferensiasi guna meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada muatan IPAS kelas IV SD. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SDN Ujungnegoro 01 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan SDN Ujungnegoro 02 sebagai kelas kontrol, dengan jumlah total 60 siswa. Hasil validasi oleh ahli media dan ahli materi menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar yang dikembangkan memperoleh kategori sangat layak, dengan rata-rata nilai validasi di atas 90%. Kepraktisan bahan ajar diuji melalui angket guru dan siswa, yang menunjukkan hasil positif dengan persentase rata-rata 93,91% dalam kategori sangat efektif. Pengujian efektivitas bahan ajar menggunakan uji N-Gain menunjukkan bahwa kelas eksperimen memperoleh skor 73,13% (kategori efektif), sedangkan kelas kontrol hanya mencapai 52,06% (kategori kurang efektif). Uji Independent Sample T-Test menunjukkan perbedaan hasil belajar yang signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol (p = 0,000), sedangkan uji One-Sample T-Test menunjukkan bahwa nilai post-test kelas eksperimen (84,97) lebih tinggi dibandingkan standar KKM (70), sehingga siswa dalam kelas eksperimen mencapai ketuntasan belajar. Dengan demikian, hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan bahan ajar berbasis Canva dalam pembelajaran berdiferensiasi efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada muatan IPAS kelas IV SD. Temuan ini merekomendasikan penggunaan bahan ajar digital interaktif sebagai inovasi dalam dunia pendidikan guna menyesuaikan strategi pembelajaran dengan gaya belajar siswa dan meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study examines how combining Philosophy for Children (P4C) and picture storybooks can reduce English learning anxiety and improve reading comprehension among Indonesian EFL students. Based on Vygotsky’s sociocultural theory and affective pedagogy, the approach addresses both emotional and cognitive aspects of learning. Using a quasi-experimental mixed-methods design, 121 fourth-semester English Department students were divided into experimental and control groups. The experimental group received lessons that used philosophical dialogue and visual storytelling to encourage critical thinking and emotional involvement. Results showed that this approach significantly lowered students' anxiety and improved their reading comprehension and motivation. Qualitative data also revealed that students felt safer and more engaged, which helped them connect personally with the texts. The study shows that student-centered, interdisciplinary teaching can support both language learning and emotional well-being. It offers useful insights for EFL teachers and curriculum developers aiming to create more meaningful and supportive learning environments.

Abstract

Sentra batik Giriloyo merupakan salah satu industri yang berpusat pada kerajinan batik tradisional yang berkembang di Imogiri, Bantul. Dalam perkembangannya, Batik Giriloyo menjadi kekuatan ekonomi desa, namun seiring dengan perkembangan jaman banyak competitor batik hadir, baik dari dalam negeri maupun luar negeri. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini mempunyai tujuan untuk mengkaji peran sentra batik dalam meningkatkan ekonomi desa dan memberikan solusi atas manajemen keuangan yang dihadapi para pengrajin batik. Pendekatan yang digunakan dengan pengamatan mendalam dan penyuluhan dengan dilanjutkan penyuluhan serta pelatihan intensif. Hasil dari kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa Sentra Batik Giriloyo mampu meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat, memberdayakan perempuan (ibu-ibu rumah tangga), mendorong regenerasi pembatik muda, dan memperkuat pengelolaan usaha. Dengan demikian, sentra batik tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai pelestari budaya, tetapi juga sebagai penggerak ekonomi desa yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the finding that some students do not understand the value of global diversity and the suboptimal application of cultural literacy in schools. Thus, it is necessary to develop global diversity values through cultural literacy. The purpose of this study was to determine the development of global diversity values through the application of cultural literacy at SMP Negeri 14 Semarang. This study used a descriptive qualitative research method with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of the study included the curriculum vice principal, PPKn teachers, the P5 facilitator team, and six students. The results of this study indicate that the development of global diversity values is carried out through several strategies, including the integration of diversity values into learning, Pancasila Student Profile (P5) project activities, and habituation programs such as cultural and art literacy. This study concludes that the application of cultural literacy can be a strategic means of fostering global diversity values in schools. This has a positive impact on students' understanding, attitudes, and social skills in appreciating diversity and strengthening national identity.

Abstract

This study aims to develop CEKATAN learning media, a crossword puzzle-based media with fable content, to improve the literacy skills of second-grade elementary school students. The research employed Research and Development (R&D) with a modified Borg & Gall model up to the limited trial stage. The participants were students from both experimental and control classes at Wringinputih 01 Public Elementary School, Semarang Regency. Research instruments included validation sheets from experts, teacher and student questionnaires, and literacy tests in the form of pretest and posttest. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics to measure validity and practicality, and inferential statistics (normality, homogeneity, t-test, and N-Gain) to measure effectiveness. Validation results indicated that CEKATAN media was highly valid, with material experts rating it at 93.3% and media experts at 90.6%. Practicality was rated very high by both teachers (92.7%) and students (94.2%). Effectiveness tests showed significant differences between the experimental and control classes (Sig. 0.000 < 0.05). The N-Gain score for the experimental class was 0.84 (high category), while the control class obtained 0.40 (moderate category). These findings demonstrate that CEKATAN media is valid, practical, and effective, making it suitable to be applied in elementary school literacy learning. These findings further imply that CEKATAN media has the potential to support school literacy programs and can be implemented more broadly in elementary education as a sustainable approach to fostering students’ reading interest and comprehension.

Abstract

Revitalisasi prospektif nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara, harus bertolak secara langsung dari problem bangsa dan negara sebagai salah satu pemasti bahwa upaya revitalisasi nilai Pancasila menjadi jawaban atas problem yang ada, dan bukan berdasarkan persepsi subjektif semata. Upaya yang dapat ditempuh adalah pengamalan Pancasila yang objektif dan subjektif. Pengamalan Pancasila yang objektif adalah penamalan Pancasila dalam bentuk realisasinya dalam setiap aspek penyelenggaraan negara; legislatif, eksekutif dan yudikatif, maupun dalam semua bidang kenegaraan lainnya. Hal ini terutama berkaitan dengan realisasi dalam perundang-undangan negara Indonesia. Pengamalan Pancasila yang subjektif adalah pengamalan Pancasila dalam bentk pelaksanaannya dalam setiap pribadi, perseorangan, setiap warga negara, setiap individu, setiap penduduk, setiap penguasa dan setiap orang Indonesia. Kedudukan pengamalan subjektif lebih penting daripada pengamalan objektif karena yang subjektif menentukan yang objektif. Pelaksanaan Pancasila secara objektif memerlukan sifat dasar manusia yang bermoral luhur. Pengamalan objektif sangat dtentukan oleh subjeknya Kata kunci: Revitalisasi, Restrospektif, Pancasila.
