Abstract

Islam menawarkan jalan hidup damai, saling menghormati antar sesama dan mengakui keragaman dan perbedaan. Jalan hidup dalam kedamaian yang ditawarkan bahkan sangat sesuai dengan nama yang disandangnya yakni Islam yang bermakna “selamat” dan “damai”. Ke-Islaman seseorang yang telah diikrarkan dalam jiwa dan pemikirannya sepatutnya mengantarkannya menjadi duta perdamaian dimanapun dalam kondisi apapun. Dalam kenyataannya, ajaran damai dalam Islam acapkali disalahartikan oleh sebagian pemeluknya. Terdapat kelompok dalam Islam yang mengimplementasikan ajaran Islam dengan perangai yang sangat kaku dan kasar, memonopoli kebenaran agama dari perspektif kelompoknya saja. Pada titik tertentu, cara beragama yang mengedepankan kepongahan dan arogansi seperti ini, akan menjebak seseorang dalam perilaku ekstrimisme. Ekstrimisme sendiri terdiri dari tiga unsur; ekstrimisme ideologi, ekstrimisme takfiri dan ekstrimisme jihadis. Ketiganya merupakan benalu bagi kelangsungan peradaban umat manusia. Maka dari itu, konsep “damai” dalam beragama harus terus menerus diberikan penggung yang luas. Agar konsep ini mendapatkan legitimasi yang kokoh, maka harus digagas sebuah konstruksi pemikiran yang bersumber dari kitab suci Alquran. Dalam tulisan ini, penulis menyajikan ayat-ayat Alquran yang berperspektif perdamaian dan moderasi beragama serta multikulturalisme sebagai landasan untuk membangun kontra-narasi terhadap merebaknya fenomena keberagamaan yang anti keragaman dan berujung pada sikap ekstrimisme. Sudah menjadi keharusan bagi umat manusia sebagai “pengguna” kitab untuk membumikan kalam tersebut agar tujuan diciptakannya manusia sebagai khalifah fil ardl. Khalifah yang dikehendaki Tuhan tentu bukanlah sekelompok manusia beringas yang gemar menebar ancaman dan ketakutan kepada sesama manusia. Tetapi khalifah yang membangun peradaban umat manusia yang mengedepankan kesantunan dan harmoni.

Abstract

Post-conventional is the highest level of moral reasoning based on cognitive developmental moral theory. As the highest level, post-conventional is the level of moral reasoning that everyone (including Muslims) needs to have because a person's moral reasoning is correlated with his moral actions. Moral reasoning affects how a person believes that behavior should be done. A person has reached the post-conventional level if his moral reasoning refers to universal values ​​such as justice, equality, humanity, and so on. In Muslim society, the acceptance of universal values ​​that form the basis for this post-conventional level of moral reasoning is still debated. This article examines the thoughts of Muslim scholars who present explanations of Islamic scientific tools (maqashid al-shariah, maslahah, and naskh-mansukh), which give place to universal principles. The results of this study conclude that a Muslim has the opportunity to reach a post-conventional moral level because his religious teachings provide a foundation based on universal values ​​as well as a post-conventional moral level foundation. Based on the results of this study, Islamic education can use the reference of cognitive-developmental moral theory to be used in the formation of students' moral reasoning to the highest level; post-conventional.

Abstract

The efforts of PAI teachers in realizing interesting, contextual and effective fiqh learning towards strengthening the character of moderate Muslims for madrasa students encountered obstacles, including the existence of textbooks that tended to be puritanical. In addition, most of the books used are only printed books with unattractive designs. For this reason, it is necessary to develop the process through development research (R&D) whose procedure uses the Plomp design (2010) with 5 stages, namely: 1) investigation, 2) design, 3) construction, 4) evaluation, 5) implementation. Meanwhile, so that the resulting textbooks can be more contextual and effective in strengthening the character of moderate Muslims for students, the textbooks are prepared by internalizing Indonesian Fiqh thinking with 2 choices of methods, namely: 1) the existing teaching materials are not changed, the content remains the same. with the discussion of classical Islamic books (books), but given additional contextualization explanations that are in accordance with Islamic moderation thinking, or b) teaching materials are changed in content according to the latest ijtihad of contemporary scholars and the creative traditions of Indonesian Muslim scholars who present law - Islamic law according to the situation and conditions of contemporary Muslim society.

Abstract

The phenomenon of online gambling among students has become a serious concern in today's digital era. Although religious education has been taught in schools, the reality is that many students do not fully understand the negative impact of online gambling practices. Previous studies have focused more on students or adolescents in general, without highlighting the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in shaping student understanding at the Vocational High School (SMK) level. This is a research gap that needs to be bridged through more contextual and applicative studies. This study aims to reveal the extent of students' understanding of online gambling and analyze the strategies used by PAI teachers in strengthening awareness of the dangers of this behavior. The approach used is descriptive qualitative with a case study design, located at SMK PGRI Sooko Mojokerto. Data collection techniques include observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, which are then analyzed using interactive models from Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña. The results show that students' understanding of online gambling is mostly obtained from social media and the friendly environment, with an initial understanding that tends to be permissive. However, after experiencing direct negative impacts, such as impaired learning focus, decreased motivation, and moral guilt, students' attitudes began to change towards rejection. On the other hand, PAI teachers apply educational strategies through contextual lectures, open dialogue, visualization of case studies, and spiritual strengthening through routine religious activities. This strategy is not only preventive, but also touches the emotional and spiritual aspects of students comprehensively. This study recommends strengthening collaboration between schools, parents, and external parties such as religious institutions and law enforcement in an effort to prevent online gambling practices. In addition, it is necessary to develop a PAI learning model that is more responsive to today's digital issues. The limitations of this study lie in the scope of a single location, so further research is recommended to involve more schools to expand the generalization of the findings.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji bagaimana Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di SMP Rahman Wahid Mojogeneng, Mojokerto, membantu siswa menumbuhkan kembali perilaku akhlakul karimah. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kekhawatiran terhadap degradasi moral generasi muda akibat pengaruh globalisasi dan teknologi modern. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai kondisi perilaku moral siswa saat ini, mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhinya, serta mengeksplorasi strategi yang diterapkan untuk menanamkan akhlakul karimah melalui PAI. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi yang melibatkan guru, siswa, serta pihak sekolah dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun sebagian besar siswa memahami dan menghormati nilai-nilai Islam, faktor eksternal seperti media dan lingkungan sosial menjadi tantangan dalam menjalankan perilaku moral secara konsisten. Upaya revitalisasi yang dilakukan meliputi keteladanan guru, pengintegrasian nilai-nilai agama dalam kegiatan sehari-hari, serta keterlibatan orang tua dalam pendidikan karakter. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kolaborasi antara guru, siswa, keluarga, dan masyarakat luas sangat diperlukan untuk mewujudkan revitalisasi yang efektif. Dengan memberikan strategi praktis untuk memperkuat pendidikan karakter di sekolah formal, khususnya melalui Pendidikan Agama Islam sebagai upaya menghadapi kemerosotan moral di era modern, penelitian ini berkontribusi terhadap perkembangan ilmu pendidikan.
