Abstract

Violence and bullying remain recurring issues in Pesantrens, despite their foundation in Islamic values that promote harmony and respect. This community service program focuses on reviving the values of equality and social solidarity among santri (students) to prevent such negative behaviors. Targeting students in Pesantrens under Rabithah Maahidil Islamiyah, Mojokerto Regency, East Java, the program aims to foster a culture of mutual respect and non-violence. Using a Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR) approach, the program was collaboratively designed and implemented with local stakeholders. The strategy emphasized active involvement, value internalization, and experiential learning. Results show a positive change in students’ awareness and behavior, with increased commitment to uphold equality and social cohesion. This initiative demonstrates that value-based education rooted in the Pesantren’s moral heritage can effectively reduce violence and bullying. The program is expected to inspire similar collaborative efforts across other Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the impact of utilizing the internet as a learning resource for Islamic Religious Education at SMK PGRI Sooko Mojokerto. The negative impact encountered in the use of the internet as a learning resource is that students become lazy to read books, more lazy to look in books because there is easy access on the internet, students can later misuse the internet outside the context of learning such as playing games to open other applications that have nothing to do with learning Islamic religious education. The positive impact is for teachers to be more practical to find teaching materials, provide material via the internet web and for students the positive impact makes it easier for them to find material and search for answers on the internet to add new insights and knowledge, because internet access and facilities in the form of wifi are adequate, it is hoped that this internet utilization can be used optimally and in these users the teacher must pay attention or accompany so that there will be no abuse of excessive internet use..

Abstract

Islamic education often employs indoctrinative patterns in its teaching processes. This indoctrinative approach tends to create authoritarian relationships, which are considered effective for instilling doctrinal values but offer limited opportunities for students to develop critical perspectives toward the doctrines being taught. This study aims to examine the indoctrinative approach and its impact on students’ reasoning abilities. Using a literature review method, the research seeks to identify a moderate approach that balances indoctrination and reasoning within Islamic education. The findings suggest that indoctrination is both inevitable and necessary in Islamic education due to its unique characteristics—particularly in conveying ta‘abbudi (devotional) Islamic materials, especially regarding matters of faith and worship. However, for Islamic teachings that involve ta‘aqquli (rational) content, especially in social transactions (mu‘amalah), reasoning must be emphasized to cultivate students’ critical thinking and problem-solving skills. With enhanced reasoning and critical capacities, students are less likely to be indoctrinated by radical ideologies and terrorist movements.

Abstract

Many students still feel uncomfortable when taking Islamic Religious Education (PAI) lessons, especially when asked to express their opinions or speak in front of the class. This condition makes it difficult for teachers to create an active, interesting, and fun learning atmosphere. This study aims to: (1) describe and analyze the teacher's strategy in improving students' self-confidence, and (2) describe and analyze the factors that influence students' self-confidence. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach, by collecting data from teachers and students in grades X and XI through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that methods such as group work, ice breaking, presentation tasks and support in the form of praise and motivation from teachers have a positive impact on building students' self-confidence. External factors such as encouragement from family, peers, and involvement in P5 activities are also significant supporters. In conclusion, students' self-confidence in PAI learning can be improved by combining interactive learning strategies and a positive learning environment that plays a significant role in developing students' self-confidence in PAI lessons. Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital yang pesat telah memberikan dampak signifikan dalam dunia pendidikan, termasuk dalam proses pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI). Media digital dinilai mampu menjadikan pembelajaran lebih menarik, interaktif, dan efisien. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan dan menganalisis bagaimana media pembelajaran berbasis digital dimanfaatkan dalam mata pelajaran PAI di SMAN 1 Gondang. Fokus kajian meliputi bentuk implementasi, intensitas penggunaan, tanggapan siswa dan guru terhadap media digital, serta faktor-faktor pendukung maupun penghambat dalam penggunaannya. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media digital seperti video pembelajaran, platform daring (Google Classroom, YouTube), dan aplikasi edukatif telah dimanfaatkan oleh guru PAI untuk menunjang proses belajar. Siswa menunjukkan antusiasme karena materi disampaikan secara lebih menarik dan mudah dipahami, sedangkan guru merasa terbantu karena media digital meningkatkan efisiensi pembelajaran. Faktor pendukung pemanfaatan media digital antara lain ketersediaan fasilitas teknologi dan semangat belajar siswa, sementara hambatan utamanya adalah keterbatasan jaringan internet dan kurangnya pelatihan bagi guru. Secara keseluruhan, pemanfaatan media digital memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran PAI di SMAN 1 Gondang.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the dynamics of AI use in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning. This research employed a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection procedures used observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis procedures involved data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The research findings indicate that the use of AI in PAI learning at SMAN 1 Gedeg has brought significant changes for both teachers and students. The main findings show that AI accelerates the creation of teaching materials, expands references, supports independent learning, and increases efficiency and interactivity in assignments and evaluations. The presence of AI also boosts students' confidence in seeking new knowledge and encourages them to explore information beyond conventional teaching materials. The adaptive and contextual use of AI has been proven to be adjustable to learning needs, although the role of the teacher remains crucial as a validator and gatekeeper of material, especially to maintain the authenticity of knowledge delivery in accordance with Islamic tradition. However, this study also identified several weaknesses, such as limited data on Quranic verses and hadith, difficulty in understanding complex religious concepts, and the potential for student dependence on AI, which can reduce critical thinking skills, self-reliance, and interest in reading. Additionally, there is a risk of decreased learning motivation and misuse of AI outside of the educational context. Other weaknesses noted include limited internet access and the need for supervision to ensure that information from AI remains aligned with Islamic values and appropriate religious education practices.

Abstract

So far, the role of religious figures in the environment has always been anchored in religious roles that are limited to bringing moral messages as well as peace missions in the event of horizontal conflict. It is very rare for religious figures to play an active role in the material development of the village, let alone being actively involved in the village government structure. Until now, the role of these religious figures as part of the village elite has not been explored optimally to boost the pace of the village development process. This community service program aims to increase the role of religious figures in Gayaman village not only limited to religious roles alone, but also have a significant role in material development that involves decision-making at the village structural level. Along with the issuance of Law No. 3 of 2024 junto Law No. 6 of 2016 concerning Villages concerning villages which emphasize the mandatory participation of village communities, the role of these elites becomes very significant, because it is through them that the encouragement for the community to participate in village development is strengthened. This community service program is implemented using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method which involves participation, in this case, religious figures in Gayaman village to take active action for the purpose of social transformation. From this service, it is obtained that the role of these religious figures (as part of the village elite) focuses more on their influence in moral development and only in a small portion they play a role in physical material development policies. It is recommended that the government, both central and regional, can establish stricter regulations in positioning the role of religious figures in the village precisely for the sake of the smooth development itself.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertolak dari latar belakang bahwa dalam pelaksanaan tradisi tahlilan mengandung nilai-nilai akidah yang dapat dilaksanakan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, serta mengandung hikmah dan manfaat dari pelaksanaan tradisi tahlilan tersebut. Rumusan permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana pelaksanaan tradisi tahlilan, tujuan dari pelaksanaan tradisi tahlilan dan nilai-nilai akidah dalam tradisi tahlilan di desa Keramat Kecamatan Amuntai Selatan Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Utara. Sedangkan penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran yang konkrit tentang pelaksanaan tradisi tahlilan, tujuan dari pelaksanaan tradisi tahlilan dan nilai-nilai akidah dalam tradisi tahlilan di desa Keramat Kecamatan Amuntai Selatan Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Utara. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah warga masyarakat yang melaksanakan tradisi tahlilan yang ada di desa Keramat Kecamatan Amuntai Selatan Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Utara.Sedangkan objek dalam penelitian ini adalah studi tentang nilai-nilai akidah dalam tradisi tahlilan di desa Keramat Kecamatan Amuntai Selatan Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Utara. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, dokumenter dan wawancara, kemudian diolah melalui proses reduksi data, display data (penyajian data), dan verifikasi data (kesimpulan). Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa studi tentang nilai-nilai akidah dalam tradisi tahlilan di desa Keramat Kecamatan Amuntai Selatan Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Utara, yaitu dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut: Pelaksanaan tradisi tahlilan di rumah warga pada hari kematian, pada hari ketiga, ke tujuh, ke dua puluh lima, empat puluh hari, seratus hari, dan pada saat haul ataupun satu tahun setelah kematian, bisa juga dilaksanakan pada malam hari yang sebelumnya dilaksanakan shalat hadiah, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan pembacaan yasin dan tahlilan serta ditutup dengan doa arwah ataupun doa haul. Tujuan dari pelaksanaan tradisi tahlilan di antaranya mengenang keluarga yang telah meninggal dunia dan memberikan kelapangan akan kuburnya, mempererat tali silaturahmi dan kekelurgaan, untuk memberikan sedekah kepada kaum muslimin lainnya serta untuk mengingat akan kematian. Nilai-nilai akidah dalam tradisi tahlilan di antaranya keyakinan kepada Allah SWT, adanya ketentuan Allah SWT berkenaan dengan datangnya kematian, keyakinan akan sampainya pahala maupun sedekah yang diniatkan, serta keyakinan besarnya manfaat bagi yang membaca tahlil selain bernilai ibadah juga akan membuat hati tenang, selalu ingat kepada Allah SWT dan bertambah khusyu’ dalam melaksanakan ibadah.

Abstract

Maqāṣid Al-Syarī'ah from the perspective of Ibnu 'Āsyūr, a contemporary scholar who has contributed greatly to developing maqasidus sharia, not only from the point of view of how Islamic law becomes a means for individuals to get closer to God, but also how humans actually function as individual beings , social beings and Godly beings. Understanding and developing Maqasidus sharia knowledge becomes tenting for us to be able to feel the spirit of tasyri' so that our faith will increase. Maqasid al Sharia can be in the form of maqasid al'ammah sharia, which covers all aspects of sharia and Maqāṣid Al-Syarī'ah al khasah which is devoted to one of the chapters of sharia that has chapters, such as maqasid al sharia in economics, family law and others , or Maqāṣid Al-Syarī'ah al juz'iyyah which includes every syara' law such as the obligation to pray, forbidden adultery, and so on. In this paper, the discussion will be focused on the maqashid sharia theory according to Ibn 'Āsyūr. With the hope of knowing the characteristics and uniqueness of the theory. This research is a research that uses a qualitative descriptive approach using the literature study method, namely by searching for and studying literature related to the problem that is the object of this research study. Abstract

As a reality, conflict can occur anywhere, whenever and experienced by anyone due to certain factors, one of which is the process and the results of the Election of Village Heads (PILKADES). Election of Village Head which is carried out directly to elect village leaders, in practice it is often to use money politics and "black campaigns". The PILKADES conflict is rooted in the interests of Botoh (gambling bettors), entrepreneurs and some of their supporters who are trying to win one of the KADES candidates. Efforts are being taken, among others, by developing issues based on personality character and social values ​​to attack the opposing parties resulting in a war of issues and psychological conflicts that manifest in the form of mobilization of time. However, the mobilizations of the people do not develop into physical violence because the conflict can be effectively controlled by the kyai. Implementation of the role of Kyai in controlling PILKADES conflicts are carried out these ways: 1) engaging in informal political discussion; 2) individual communication with political officials; 3) carry out education to the community to strengthen social ties between them, and 4) plunge directly into the field to control and disband the people
