Abstract

This research aims to determine the independence of Children with Special Needs (ABK) through scouting methods at SLB Negeri Punung. The research was descriptive qualitative with a single case study approach. The informants consisted of 2 teachers as scout leaders and 5 students, chosen to use purposive sampling. Data collection methods consist of observation, interviews and documentation. Qualitative data analysis was chosen to use the Miles concept and Huberman through three activities, namely data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/ verification. The results obtained in this study are: 1) scouting activities at SLB Negeri Punung are superior extracurricular activities by implementing scouting methods including the scout code of honor, learning by doing, and partnerships with adult members, 2) scouting activities have implications for student independence, the observed indicators include initiative, self-confidence, decision-making ability and progressiveness, 3) obstacles in this activity are the difficulty in understanding the material presented by the teacher, so it requires support from parents and teachers to increase student participation. Abstract

This study aims to see the partial effect of the use of e-learning and independent learning on the learning outcomes of introductory economics and business statistics with motivation as a mediator. The type of research used is quantitative with a survey method. Samples were taken using the Slovin formula and obtained as many as 96. The analysis used was path analysis. The research results obtained include; 1) the use of e-learning has a significant effect on motivation because the value of sig. 0.000; 2) learning independence has no significant effect on motivation with sig. 0.645; 3) the use of e-learning has a significant effect on learning outcomes with sig. 0.007; 4) learning independence has a significant effect on learning outcomes with sig. 0.000; 5) motivation has a significant effect on learning outcomes with sig. 0.000; 6) learning motivation can mediate the effect of using e-learning on learning outcomes with a value of Z = 4.89; 7) learning motivation cannot mediate the influence of independent learning on learning outcomes with a value of Z = 0.4572. Further research still needs to be done using other relevant variables.

Abstract

Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi kesultan siswa  kelas V SD Neegeri I Mujing dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal HOTS, dilihat dari kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan data diperoleh melaluui tes dan wawancara. Temuan kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa baik siswa dengan kemampuan penalaran matematis tinggi maupun rendah mengalami kesulitan dalam kategori yang sama, yaitu kesulitan konseptual, komputasi, prosedural, rendahnya penguasaan kemampuan dasar matematika, serta kesulitan memahami konteks soal dan menyusun strategi pemecahan. Namun, indikator kesulitan yang muncul berbeda pada tiap kategori siswa. Siswa dengan penalaran tinggi umumnya mengalami kendala pada tahap akhir penyelesaian, sedangkan siswa dengan penalaran rendah kesulitan sejak tahap awal hingga akhir. Penelitian ini juga menemukan dua jenis kesulitan baru, yaitu kesulitan memahami konteks soal terapan dan kesulitan menyusun strategi penyelesaian, yang dialami oleh seluruh siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and describe the feasibility and effectiveness of mathematical puzzle media on whole number material to improve the arithmetic ability of fourth grade students. The study used the Research Development (RD) method with the ADDIE development model. The research subjects consisted of 1 teacher and 10 fourth grade students of Sukoharjo Public Elementary School. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, questionnaires, documentation, and arithmetic ability tests. Data analysis conducted included the level of product validity from media and material experts, analysis of teacher and student response questionnaire data on media use, and analysis of product effectiveness test data. The results showed that the puzzle media was declared very valid by media experts with an average assessment of 4.86, and an average of 4.83 by material experts. In addition, the results of the teacher response questionnaire were 100% and the results of the student response questionnaire were 97.33% with a very feasible category. The mathematical puzzle media was said to be quite effective with an average N-Gain score of 0.7 and an effectiveness percentage of 72.8%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui serta mendeskripsikan timgkat kelayakan dan keefektivitas media puzzle matematika pada materi bilangan cacah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung siswa kelas IV. Penelitian menggunakan metode Reseacrh Development (RD) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Subjek penelitian terdiri 1 guru dan 10 siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Sukoharjo. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, angket, dokumentasi, dan tes kemampuan berhitung. Analisis data yang dilakukan meliputi tingkat kevalidan produk dari ahli media dan materi, analisa data angket respon guru dan siswa terhadap penggunaan media, serta analisa data uji efektivitas produk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media puzzle dinyatakan sangat valid oleh ahli media dengan rata-rata penilaian adalah 4,86, dan rata-rata 4,83 oleh ahli materi. Selain itu, hasil angket respon guru sebesar 100% dan hasil angket respon siswa sebesar 97,33% dengan kategori sangat layak. Media puzzle matematika dikatakan cukup efektif dengan rata-rata skor  N-Gain sebesar 0,7 dan presentase efektivitas 72,8%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mendeskripsikan intensitas penggunaan gadget dantingkat kemalasan sosial pada siswa kelas tinggi di MIM Bandar 1. Peneliti menggunakan jenispenelitian kualitatif. Sebagai subjek penelitian adalah 2 guru, 4 orangtua, dan 17 siswa MIMBandar 1. Datanya diperoleh dari metode angket, wawancara dan observasi. Teknik analisisdata yang digunakan adalah deskriptif naratif dengan menggunakan model Miles danHuberman. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa: 1) intensitas penggunaangadget pada siswa kelas tinggi di MIM Bandar 1 berada pada kategori sedang atau sebesar58,8%, selanjutnya 23,5% kategori tinggi, dan 17,6% kategori rendah; 2) tingkat kemalasan sosialsiswa kelas tinggi di MIM Bandar 1 pada kategori sedang sebesar 64,71%, dan masing- masing17,65% pada kategori tinggi dan rendah. Dengan demikia tingkat kemalasan sosial siswabersesuaian dengan intensitas penggunaan gadget.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pembelajaran tematikberbasis lingkungan hidup, sikap konservasi lingkungan siswa kelas V, serta peran guru dankepala sekolah di SDN Bangunsari tahun pelajaran 2019/2020. Penelitian ini merupakanpenelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitianadalah 1 kepala sekolah, 1 guru kelas, dan 35 siswa kelas V SDN Bangunsari. Subjek dipilihdengan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi dokumentasi danobservasi pelaksanaan pembelajaran tematik berbasis lingkungan, angket konservasilingkungan siswa, dan wawancara. Keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi teknikdan sumber. Analisis data menggunakan teknik deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil yang diperolehdalam penelitian ini yaitu: 1) pelaksanaan pembelajaran tematik berbasis lingkungan hiduppada siswa kelas V SDN Bangunsari dalam kategori baik, pelaksanaanya sudah berdasarkanpada prosedur yang ada. Guru melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran mengacu pada RencanaPelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP). Terdapat 3 tahap kegiatan dalam pelaksanaanpembelajaran, yaitu kegiatan pendahuluan, kegiatan inti, dan kegiatan penutup; 2) Sikapkonservasi lingkungan siswa kelas V SDN Bangunsari menunjukkan hasil yang baik. Skor akhirrata-rata angket yang terdiri dari aspek keanekaragaman hayati, energi bersih, arsitektur hijaudan transportasi internal, kebijakan penggunaan nirkertas, pengelolaan limbah, etika seni danbudaya, dan kader konservasi adalah 2,80. Terdapat 7 siswa yang masuk ke dalam kategoribaik dengan presentase 77,7% dan 2 siswa masuk ke dalam kategori sangat baik denganpresentase 22,3%; 3) Guru dan kepala sekolah memiliki peranan dalam merencanakan,melaksanakan, dan melakukan penilaian pembelajaran bagi siswa. Secara khusus guruberperan sebagai pendamping dan pembimbing, sedangkan kepala sekolah berperan sebagaifasilitator, mediator, dan teladan bagi guru.

Abstract

The study aims to learn what mathematical concepts are found in traditional game tools (hula hoop, the tray, and the kite) and to learn the contribution of ethnomathematics to traditional game tools for elementary school education. It was a qualitative study using an ethnographic approach. Research subjects were 7 elementary school students (a 3rd class student, three 4th graders, and three 6th graders) in the village neighborhood of sirnoboyo and two elementary school teachers (a class 4 teacher and a class 5 teacher). Sampling technique used to determine student subjects. The data collection methods used observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis suggests that: 1) the traditional game hula hoop, the tray, and the kite were responsible for the mathematical concepts. The mathematical concept of the traditional game tool was line, Angle, point of view, and get up flat. 2) traditional game tools as hula hoop, bakiak, and kites have contributed as a source of mathematical learning at elementary school. 3) the character traditional game hula hoop, the bakiak, and the kite were self-sufficiency, confidence, teamwork, and unity.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) the correlation between self-confidence and student’s learning outcomes; (2) the correlation between mathematical communication skills and student’s learning outcomes; (3) the correlation between self-confidence and mathematical communication skills with student’s learning outcomes. This type of research was quantitative. The population in this study were students of class V SD Negeri Gugus 01 in Kebonagung District for the 2019/2020 academic year. The sample was selected by proportional random sampling technique, amounting to 30 respondents. Data collection was carried out using documentation, questionnaires, and tests. Data analysis used correlation techniques with the help of SPSS 16.0 after testing the prerequisite analysis and hypothesis testing. The results showed that: (1) there was a positive correlation between self-confidence and learning outcomes of grade V SD Negeri Gugus 01, Kebonagung Sub District, Academic Year 2019/2020 (2) there was a positive correlation between mathematical communication skills and the learning outcomes of class V SD Negeri Gugus 01, Kebonagung Sub District, 2019/2020 academic and (3) there was a positive correlation between self-confidence and mathematical communication skills with student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe: (1) the procedure for using video media in online learning for science subjects for class V SD Negeri 1 Hadiwarno, (2) the barriers for teachers and students in using video media in online learning for science subjects for class V SD Negeri 1 Hadiwarno , (3) the efforts of teachers and students to face obstacles in using video media in online learning for fifth-grade science subjects at SD Negeri 1 Hadiwarno. Qualitative research was used in this study. A teacher and 13 fifth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Hadiwarno as subjects were selected by purposive sampling technique. The technique of observation, interviews and documentation on the use of video media in online learning of science subjects was chosen as the data collection method.. The findings of this study are: (1) the use of video media in online learning for science subjects class V SD Negeri 1 Hadiwarno was categorized as good, the implementation was by existing procedures; (2) the barriers experienced by teachers and students included difficult internet signal and expensive internet quota fees; (3) the efforts made by teachers and students to face these obstacles are suggestions for using hotspots from parents' cellphones, looking for wifi to the homes of friends and closest neighbours, thus helping smoothness in participating in online learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) student’s numeracy literacy skills, (2) students’ mathematics learning difficulties, and (3) mathematics learning difficulties in terms of numeracy literacy skills in 4-grade students at SDN Ngadirejan.This type of research was descriptive qualitative. The results have shown that: (1) the grade 4 students of SDN Ngadirejan had high numeracy literacy skills as many as 16%, of students with a moderate level of numeracy literacy skills as many as 20%, of students with a moderate level of numeracy literacy skills as much as 24%, and 40% of students with low-level numeracy literacy skills; (2) Types of learning difficulties in mathematics experienced by grade 4 students at SDN Ngadirejan were weaknesses in calculating, difficulty in transferring knowledge, poor in an understanding of mathematical language, and difficulty in visual perception. (3) The difficulties in learning mathematics in terms of students' numeracy literacy abilities showed differences in each category. The higher the numeracy literacy ability, the smaller the difficulties experienced by students.
