Abstract

Emergency Room (IGD) as one of the first entry points for patients to the hospital, will indirectly provide an overview of hospital services as a whole. Data on emergency visits of patients at Bhayangkara Tebing Tinggi Hospital in the January - May 2020 period were 2,685 patients and experienced a significant decrease every month. The research objective was to analyze the factors that influence the performance of emergency room nurses at the Tebing Tinggi Bhayangkara General Hospital in 2020. The research design used a descriptive analytic method with a cross-sectional approach. The population in the study were all nurses who served in the IGD at the Bhayangkara Tebing Tinggi Hospital in 2020 totaling 32 people. The sample uses the otal population. Data analysis used univariate, bivariate and multivariate analysis using logistic regression tests.The results of the study using logistic regression showed the sig. each variable, namely the variable ability (0.578), skills (0.011), motivation (0.129), reward (0.013), infrastructure (0.855) and the value of Exp (B) the largest = 26.633 in the variable reward. The conclusion of this study is that there is a significant effect of skills and rewards on the performance of nurses in the IGD at the Bhayangkara Tebing Tinggi Hospital and the variables that have no significant effect are ability, motivation and infrastructure.

Abstract

From the first forty cases of working stress on workers, work stress incidence on nurses is located at the top of the list. The suitable handling and management for nurses are crucially required. Working stress management is a program to help someone overcome stress. The purpose of this research is to find out the effectiveness of stress management and physical activity towards working stress on nurses in TK II Putri Hijau Hospital. This research is using a quasi-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this research consists of 152 people and all of them are being examined using stress questionnaires to earn the stress level. Nurses who have medium stress level are chosen to be the samples of this research, which consist of 42 nurses that are being divided into 2 groups with 21 people in each group. Therefore, 21 people obtain stress management training treatment, and the other 21 people receive physical activity treatment. In this research, the Stress Scale (PSS-10) which is a self-report questionnaire is being used. Moreover, the data is processed using parametric analysis, which is Wilcoxon. Based on the research, it is found that stress management training and physical activity has a significant effect on the reduction of nurses working stress in TK II Putri Hijau Hospital Medan.

Abstract

Public health emergencies can occur imported i.e. the source of the emergency comes from outside the region and the epicenter is the source of the emergency comes from the work area. Both conditions can arise in unpredictable situations so that the ability of the government and stakeholders in preventing, detect early to detect, handle cases as early as possible to response will affect the extent of the magnitude of emergency event sand post-event handling. Readiness surveillance device in the face of the influx of infectious diseases. Early detection efforts are carried out by detecting events through examination and screening, information and Verification of passengers, transport and disease risk factors. This type of research is Descriptive with the aim to know the evaluation of the implementation of PHEIC to the performance of Class I Medan Port Health Office in 2020, based on respondent answers. The population is all quarantine officers in the working area of Class I MPA Medan as many as 58 respondents, sampling using total sampling. The result of research shows that based on respondent answers obtained PHEIC implementation with employee discipline obtained there is still no timely out hours of work and never reprimanded directly by superiors, while supervision is still less than the leadership is more considered objectively and thoroughly, work activities organized together in teams not individually. It is recommended to all employees to enforce discipline, especially at work hours and the need for effective staffing in improving employee performance as well as working based on a predetermined team work.

Abstract

Complete immunization in healthy Indonesia demonstrates the importance and benefits of immunization for the health of children and the world community, addresses the immunization coverage gap through increased program investment, and conveys that complete routine immunization is the basis for strong health. The purpose of the study was to analyze the factors that influence the achievement of the immunization program at the Patek Health Center, Darul Hikmah District, Aceh Jaya Regency. This qualitative study contained a sample of 10 people, namely 3 main informants from the Head of the Patek Health Center, 1 immunization Programmer and 1 Implementing Midwife and 5 Village Midwives supporting informants and 2 Community. The results of the research explained by informants that Facilities and infrastructure Although there are still mothers who still do not want to bring their children to immunization, Process (planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation) Planning for immunization activities every month, implementing posyandu not for immunization at Puskesmas, Monitoring monitoring of the local area (PWS), Evaluation of the level of immunization coverage for measles has not been achieved properly. The output of this activity is carried out with cross-programme, cross-sectoral collaboration, professional organizations, NGOs, and community officers/cadres. and Outcome of immunization achievement did not reach 85%. Conclusions and Suggestions It is hoped that as input for the Patek Health Center, Darul Hikmah District, that research provides a positive discourse to further improve the quality of Immunization Program Achievements so that it runs effectively.

Abstract

Work stress is a widespread issue that often affects or is complained about by employees in several nations. Consequently, the purpose of this research was to analyze the elements that impact the job stress of nurses in the inpatient room at the Regional General Hospital of Doctor Zubir Mahmud, East Aceh Regency. The research design used is a cross-sectional, analytical survey. The population for this research consisted of 129 respondents, and the sample size for the purposive sampling approach was 56 respondents. Using a simple occupational stress questionnaire, data were obtained. Analysis of data using the chi-square test. Workload had a p-value of 0.004, career uncertainty had a p-value of 0.031, and dual roles had a p-value of 0.045, indicating that it affects the job stress of nurses in the inpatient room of the Regional General Hospital Doctor Zubir Mahmud Regency. Eastern Aceh The workload variable has the biggest impact on the job stress of nurses in the hospital, as measured by the value of Exp (B) or the Odds Ratio of 19,222. This research concludes that workload, career ambiguity, and numerous jobs have an effect on the work stress of nurses in the inpatient unit of the Regional General Hospital of Doctor Zubir Mahmud in East Aceh Regency. Researchers recommend that hospitals conduct good communication routinely before work to define duties and responsibilities, give social support, enhance the abilities of nurses to adapt to current changes, and assess the ability of nurses to deal with stress.

Abstract

Motivation is the driving force for nurses to try to achieve maximum work performance in accordance with the work targets achieved. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the performance of nurses in the UPTD of Teluk Dalam Public Health Center, South Nias Regency. This research was a quantitative study with a research design using the Analytical Survey method with a Cross Sectional approach. The research was conducted at the UPTD of the Teluk Dalam Public Health Center, South Nias Regency, from July to August of 202. The number of samples was 70 nurses who were obtained by total sampling. The data in this study include primary data, secondary data and tertiary data. Data analysis was performed using univariate analysis test, bivariate analysis using Chi-square test and multivariate using logistic regression test. The results showed that that there is an effect of responsibility, recognition of work results, incentives, work procedures, opportunities to continue education on the performance of nurses in the UPTD of Teluk Dalam Public Health Center, South Nias Regency. The results of multivariate analysis show that the most dominant variable influencing is the responsibility variable. Based on the results of this study, it is recommended that the results of this study become input for the management of the Teluk Dalam Public Health Center in South Nias Regency, to carry out continuous guidance to all nurses so that they are able to be responsible for every task assigned by the leadership.

Abstract

This research aims to establish the impact that community participation techniques in environmental engineering have on the protection of diarrheal illnesses in the region that is serviced by the Medan Johor Health Center in 2021.An analytical survey with a cross-sectional design was the method of research that was carried out. The total number of individuals included in this research was 2235. This population was sampled using either non-probability sampling or selective sampling, neither of which is based on probability. One hundred different individuals were going to be used as subjects for the research. Univariate, bivariate, and multivariate analyses, in addition to the Chi square test, were utilized in order to analyze the data.According to the findings of the study, the p-value for the advocacy variable was found to be 0.000, while the values for the collaboration and communication variables were 0.001 and 0.002, respectively. This indicates that there is a connection between advocacy, teamwork, communication, and mentorship and the protection of gastroenteritis. The findings of the multivariate analysis revealed that the mentorship variable, which had an OR value of 35,174, was the most important factor in determining the outcomes of this research.Although there is a correlation between advocating, teamwork, communication, and mentorship and the protection of gastroenteritis, the findings of a multivariate analysis indicate that mentoring is the most important component.

Abstract

The objective of the study was to identify the factors that influence the prevention of hypertension in the Martubung Public Health Center's service area in the Labuhan District of Medan.The research design employed a quantitative method that was implemented through an analytical survey employing the Cross Sectional Study methodology. The cohort of this research consisted of hypertensive patients who visited as many as 712 patients. With the technique of Accidental Sampling, 88 respondents comprised the sample. The analysis of data employed univariate, bivariate, and multivariate methods.Knowledge p = 0.000, attitude p = 0.000, culture p = 0.008, diet p = 0.000, physical activity p = 0.000, and the role of health workers p = 0.001 were found to have an effect on hypertension prevention at the Martubung Public Health Center in the Medan Labuhan District. While knowledge is the most influential factor, p = 0.001 with 95% CI = 5.663-201,428 and Exp(B) = 104,118.This study concludes that knowledge, attitude, culture, diet, physical activity, and the function of health employees influence the prevention of hypertension at the Martubung Public Health Center in the Labuhan District of Medan. It is recommended that the Martbung Health Center optimize the counseling and dissemination of health information related to health promotion, general and special protection, and regular health checks in accordance with the program currently being implemented by the government, so that the community can actively participate in realizing healthy behavior, including the management of noncommunicable diseases.
