Abstract

Abstract : Bekudo Bono is a people's game using a wooden boat. The role of Bekudo Bono in Telukmeranti Village brings many benefits especially in the field of tourism in Telukmeranti, while the purpose of this study is to determine the role of Bekudo Bono, to know the contribution obtained through Bekudo Bono, to know the perception of the people of Telukmeranti Bekudo Bono and tourism development in the District Pelalawan, to know the participation of the community in supporting the special interest tourism event of Bekudo Bono. The method used in this study is a historical research method consisting of four stages, namely heuristics (collecting resources), source criticism, interpretation, and historiography. Data obtained from the interviews plus the data obtained from the book. The data obtained from interviews and literature studies are then analyzed in their own language. The location of the study was conducted in Telukmeranti Sub-District of Telukmeranti Regency of Pelalawan Regency. This research was conducted from the issuance of the research permit until this thesis is completed. Data collection techniques used are interview techniques, literature study and documentation techniques. The results show that Bekudo Bono has a very important role in tourism in Telukmeranti Village.Keywords: Role of Bekudo Bono, Tourism Development Bekudo Bono

Abstract

Abstract: Marriage Traditions Minangkabau communities in Aro Kayu village vary greatly depending on their respective regions. This can be seen from the time of release, procedures, and equipment. These differences are strongly influenced by the place of residence and the social environment and the influence of technological developments. The implementation of the marriage tradition of the Minangkabau people in Kayu Aro Solok District uses the Minangkabau customs. The purpose of this study is (1) To find out the process of implementing the Minangkabau marriage tradition in Kayu Aro village. (2) To find out the forms of changes that occur in the Minangkabau adat marriage tradition in Kayu Aro village. (3) To find out what factors influence the change in the marriage tradition of the Minangkabau people in Kayu Aro village. The research method used in this study is qualitative. The result of the research is that the process of the marriage tradition of the Minangkabau people is still being carried out. But there are several stages that have undergone changes. The stages of change are merisik and traditional wedding attire. Based on the results of interviews with the people in Aro village, the factors that cause changes in the marriage tradition of the Minangkabau people in Kayu Aro Village, Gunung Talang District, Solok Regency are technological factors and globalization factors. Abstract

Abstract: Nagari is a settlement that has perfect governmental equipment, inhabited by several tribes with the top leader as the highest government leader. An area or village must have a name. Naming cannot be separated from the characteristics or matters relating to the background of the area. As with the name of the Mahat Nagari, dubbed as the Thousand Menhir Nagari.The purpose of this study is (1) How is the history of the formation of Nagari Mahat, Bukit Barisan District. (2) What is the distribution and number of historical relics in Mahat Nagari. (3) What is the role and function of menhirs in Mahat Nagari for the Mahat community in the past and present. In this study using qualitative research methods. Qualitative is a method that does not use numbers in data collection and in providing an interpretation of results. The results of this study are that civilization (ancient times) of the temple civilization and Islamic civilization. Mahat naming in this nagari there are several versions including the number of found or carved stones (menhir) with an amount of ± 1000 pieces. Menhirs and other historical relics found in the Mahat Nagari can be used as a historical tour with the concept of prehistoric travel.Keywords: History, Nagari, Menhir

Abstract

Abstract: The learning process played by educators, not only the delivery of information but educators should encourage students looking for information to then build their own knowledge. Map media is one of the historical learning media that can be used to assist teachers in giving lessons to students. This research aims to find out the influence of map media use by teachers in Indonesian History subjects in grade X of SMA Cendana Pekanbaru. This research was conducted to analyze the influence of map learning media on Indonesian History subjects on the learning results of cendana pekanbaru high school students with amount of students is 26 peoples . In the statistical data of the Independent Sample T-Test there is a significant average difference between the Experiment Class which is 84.00 and control class 76.00. From the test it can be concluded that the use of Map media in historical learning is more effective when compared to chart media. From the results of Independent-Samples T Test obtained a calculated T value from the Post-test group Experiment-Control of 3,706. From that data, it looks like the value of t count 3,719> t table2.00856, the value of probability or Sig (2-tailed) 0.001< 0.05 until H1 is received and H0 is rejected. It can be concluded that the map learning media on Indonesian History subjects affects the learning results of students at SMA Cendana Pekanbaru.Key Words: Influence, Map Media, Learning Outcomes, Historical Learning

Abstract

Abstract: Bloody event in the village of Pulau Gadang, which was then led by colonel Hoemala Silalahi as a reaction to the Dutch 2nd Military Agression launched on 4 March 1949. Making troop i succed in countinuing the leadership of the Republik Indonesia. In its pursuit of the Kampar Watershed incluiding in the Village of Pulau Gadang wich was the main destination of the Netherlands. The purpose of this study is 1) To know the condition of the village of Pulau Gadang before the occurrence of a bloody event, 2) To know the background of the occurrence of bloody events in the village of Pulau Gadang, 3) To know how there was a bloody event in the village of Pulau Gadang, 4) To know the consequence of bloody events in the island of Pulau Gadang, 5) To know how people remember the bloody events in the village of Pulau Gadang. The research uses qualitative research methods with historical (History) and data collection techniques in the from of bibliography, documentation, observation, and interview. The result is the resistance made by Pulau Gadang society to make the Dutch angry and burn almost all building in Pulau Gadang as well as killing severall warriors in village. So great the sacrifices and struggles that nation been passed by the heroes of the nation, thus we should as the next generation of the nation to always remember and appreciate the service of the heroes and not forget any historical that in this country.Key Words: Bloody Events In The Village Of Pulau Gadang Subdistrict XIII Koto Kampar, Kampar District Years 1949.

Abstract: Ethnic is a community that displays language equation, customs, habit, region dan history characterized by the inner bond of its members. Chinese ethnicity is an individual who sees himself as a “Chinese” or is considered so by his environment ethnic Chinese originated from a region of China called Hokkien and then they became immigrants in a area in a area called Thailand and eventually the immgrants found Selatpanjang close to Singapore and Malaysia and settled there. The purpose of this research is (a) to find out about the entry of Chinese ethnic to Selatpanjang (b) to know the factors of ethnic Chinese arrival to Selatpanjang (c) to know the cultural mixing of Chinese society with local community in Selatpanjang (d) to know the response of local people about the existence ethnic Chinese in Selatpanjang. Abstract

Abstract : Education is a fundamental thing that must be owned by all levels of society in Indonesia. Equitable and affordable education should be felt by all Indonesian people, Especially for the Indigenous communities in Kundur Island Karimun Regency Riau Archipelago Province namely Duano Indigenous Community and Mantang Indigenous Community. This study aims to determine (1) the socioeconomic conditions of Remote Indigenous Community life on Kundur Island (2) shifting perceptions of Remote Indigenous Communities to education (3) the role of education in influencing the life of Remote Indigenous Communities in Kundur Island. This study uses a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods with a sociology approach and using data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The results of this study indicate that the desire of the parents of indigenous communities in the island of Kundur to send their children to the higher levels but still constrained by several factors that are difficult to pass. The existence of indigenous communities is reported to have existed since the 1940s and today indigenous communities have occupied their precise neighborhoods for generations. Until now, there are still many community members of indigenous communities who do not complete formal education and found many early childhood children who work to help their parents.Keywords: Remote Indigenous Communities, Education

Abstract

Abstrack: Indonesia is a country rich in renewable and non-renewable natural resources, including bauxite, a non-renewable natural resource. In Indonesia there is a large bauxite reserve in Bintan that was first discovered in Bintan. The discovery of bauxite in Bintan is the beginning of the progress of Bintan it self. The purpose of this writing is as follows: (1) The history of bauxite mining in Bintan Regency find out during the colonial period. (2) For the development of bauxite mining in Bintan Regency in the post-independence period (3) To find out the company's contribution to the surrounding community (4) To find out the current state of bauxite mining companies (5) To discover the role of local government in bauxite mining, especially in Bintan Regency. This research uses the historical method referred to by the historical method, an approach that draws attention to earlier research by collecting sources from earlier research that is used as a reference in the history of writing. Research result: (1)Bauxite was first discovered in Bintan in 1924 by a Dutch company, NV NIBEM. The first export of bauxite was in 1935 with the aim of exporting to aluminum-producing countries, In 1942, Dutch bauxite mining was taken over by Furukawa Co.Ltd for 3 years before.(2)It was finally nationalized at Indonesia in 1959 this year is the beginning of development mining.(3)Many facilities provided by PT. ANTAM for example office development and land delegation.(4)In 2009 ANTAM conducted a post-mining program and was followed by private companies in 2014.(5) The government is currently conducting surveillance and contributing to the construction of tourist attractions from teh former mining land of ANTAM.Key Words: History of Bauxite Mining

Abstract

Abstract : Local wisdom has its own form or form, the form of local wisdom can be categorized into two aspects, namely tangible and intangible local wisdom. In this regard the researcher discusses the local wisdom and values contained in Rumah Gadang in West Sumatra. Minangkabau traditional house is called Rumah Gadang or Rumah Godang which is the result of local wisdom of the people of West Sumatra. Rumah Gadang which is a traditional house and found in many provinces of West Sumatra, Indonesia. The purpose of this research is to know the meaning of the philosophy that is contained in the carvings, shapes and colors of Rumah Gadang, the function of Rumah Gadang and to know the public perception of the existence of Rumah Gadang in Tanah Datar regency of West Sumatra. The method used in this research is histori and descriptive method. Data obtained through literature techniques, documentation and comparative studies. while the research location is in Tanah Datar regency of West Sumatra. The time of study counted from the start of the proposal results seminar until the test results. The result of this research is that the Minangkabau community is a dynamic society that will always change with the passage of time. As it has been rung in one of the Minangkabau adage proverb namely 'Alam Takambang Jadi Guru'. One interesting thing that we can conclude here is that every lesson learned from nature should be able to be accumulated as new inputs in life, even this is not covered in terms of their homes or residential facilities.Keywords : Rumah Gadang, Values of Local Wisdom, Minangkabau Cultur

Abstract: Bajikea is a tradition that is in Kenengerina Baturijal which has developed in the year. This study aims (1) To find out the history of the origin of the Bajikea tradition in Kenegerian Baturijal, Peranap District, Indragiri Hulu Regency, (2) To find out the meaning of the Bajikea tradition in Kenegerian Baturijal, Peranap District, Indragiri Hulu Regency (3) To find out the procedures implementation of the Bajikea tradition in Kenegerian Baturijal, Peranap District, Indragiri Hulu Regency, (4) To find out the perceptions of the young generation towards the preservation of the Bajikea tradition in Kenegerian Baturijal, Peranap District. Indragiri Hulu District, (5) To find out how to preserve the Bajikea tradition in Kenegerian Baturijal, Peranap District, Indragiri Hulu Regency. The results of the research obtained show that Bajikea comes from the word Zikir, which is a prayer, praise and narration of the history of the Prophet Muhammad SAW which is pronounced in a rhythm or tone that is usually performed during the night of the wedding, circumcision and others. This Bajikea is one of the original art traditions of Baturijal. The first procedure for implementing this Bajikea is ninik mamak or tenganai who will perform a celebration coming to the house of the Bajikea chairman. Bajikea is an art performance by singing 3 poems.
