Abstract

Abstract: A tradition verse of the ship is a tradition carried out in the event of marriage. This tradition is a tradition that has existed since the kingdom Indragiri first. Verse of the ship is verse and poetry that in which the story about meeting mate two human until it to foster home. A tradition that kept guarded and preserved until now. The purpose of this study are 1) To know the history of tradition verse of the ship in marriage Melayu society in Rengat Districk of Indragiri Hulu Regency, 2) To kno the way the implementation of the a tradition verse of the ship in marriage Melayu society in Rengat Districk of Indragiri Hulu Regency, 3) To know the values of contained in a tradition verse of the ship in marriage Melayu society in Rengat Districk of Indragiri Hulu Regency, 4) To find out the preservation of tradition verse of the ship in marriage Melayu society in Rengat Districk of Indragiri Hulu Regency. The metodh used of is stady is qualitative metodh. Data obtained from the interview then analyzed by using the language itself. Location of this stady in Rengat district of Indragiri Hulu regency. The research time begish a week after the proposal seminar until dagree seminar. Data collection techniques used a tecniqhues of interviews, observation and documentation. The result of research show that this tradition was since the kingdom Indragiri first. Stage in the implementation of the tradition verse of the ship until when the day of the implementation of the tradition verse the ships in the event of marriage.Key Word : Tradition, Verse of the Ship, Marriage

Abstract

Abstract: In making the pathway, it turns out that there are also elements of Malay culture, namely pantun. Pantun is not only used in a variety of social activities, but also in the pathway culture. The Pantun is the most widely known form of Malay literature. In the past pantun was used to complete daily conversation. Even now most Malay people in the countryside still use it. Starting from the background of the problem, the writer can formulate the problem, namely "What is the meaning of pantun in making the path for the people of Kuantan Singingi Regency?" The place of research is the people of Kuantan Singingi Regency. When this research was conducted for 6 months from the research proposal, the seminar continued with thesis writing up to the bachelor's exam. In this study researchers used structured interviews. This means that researchers have made a list of questions to be submitted to research respondents. Based on the presentation and analysis of the data, it can be concluded that the results of this study are: 1) the values contained in the pathway in Kuantan Singingi Regency include: family values, courtesy values, artistic values, religious values, hard work values (enthusiasm and trying), the value of cooperation and the value of sportsmanship. 2) the meaning of pantun in boat building is the path that is made if not with Allah's permission as good as any form it will not be able to speed and good because all the paths will not be the same, wood assisted must follow its shape. 3) the Rapat Banjar tradition in boat building. 4) choose the three in boat building. 5) the tradirion of manobang in boat building. 6) the carpenther tradition in boat building. 7) the tradition in maelo jalur of boat building.Keywords: Tradition exchange, track runway

Abstract

Abstract : Culture is the expression of human ideas, ideas and actions in meeting the needs of everyday life, which is obtained through the process of learning and teaching. The culture conceptually has seven (7) components: Religion, Science, Technology, Economics, Social Organization, Language and Communication and Art. One of the artworks of the Batak Toba ethnic community is "Ulos". Ulos is a symbol of blessing, compassion and unity. Literally, ulos means a blanket that warms the body and protects it from cold air. Ulos type specifically in Toba Batak custom is Marature Star, Ulos Mangiring, Ulos Ragi Hotang, Ulos Sibolang, Ulos Ragi idup. The symbolic meaning of Ulos is there are several types namely: Furnace symbol, Line Symbol, Hotang Symbol, Star Symbol, Symbol Boras starch, Symbol of Gears, Bonang Manalu symbol. Function Ulos: The functions of Ulos Toba Batak customary Samosir District there are some that are Official Clothes In Indigenous Ceremonies based on life cycles such as At weddings, Birth Ceremonies, Death Ceremonies and Functions Ulos based on importance: As Reply Services To Parents, As Clothing Dancers On Adat Dance (Manortor) or performing arts, Ulos in political activities, Ulos in socio-culture. Samosir regency is the majority of Batak tribe, every event custom is inseparable from Ulos cloth. Abstract

Abstract : Rimba Melintang is one of the names of sub-districts located in Rokan Hilir Regency. Rimba Melintang Subdistrict was formed based on the Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 33 of 1995 concerning Establishment of 13 sub-districts in the area of Tinggkat II Bengkalis Regency, Indragiri Hulu, Indragiri Hilir and Kampar in the Riau Province Region II territory established in Jakarta on September 4, 1995 with a population 33,237 people. Men were 16,826 and women were 16,411. Of the 13 sub-districts the name of the sub-district is the same as the capital city of only 2 sub-district, namely, the District of Rimba Melintang, the capital of Rimba Melintang, and the District of Minas, the capital of Minas. The objectives of this study are 1) To find out the history of the formation of Rimba Melintang Subdistrict, 2) To find out the legal basis of regional formation, 3) To determine the provisions of Rimba Melintang District as one of the expansion districts in Bangko District, 4) To find out the development of education Rimba Melintang Subdistrict from 2011 to the present, 5) To determine the economic development of Rimba Melintang District from 2011 to the present. This study used a qualitative research method with descriptive study. The results of this study indicate that the Rimba Melintang sub-district was originally only a village. Rimba Melintang is included in Bangko Subdistrict, whose capital is in Bagansiapiapi. In 1990 Bangko Subdistrict was very wide and had a large population, so the Bangko Subdistrict was divided into two, namely Bangko Subdistrict and Bangko Subdistrict, whose representatives were in Rimba Melintang. In 1995 the Melimba Melintang grew and the population grew, so that the Rimba Melintang was formed into a District.Keywords : Formation, District

Abstract

Abstrack: The study intends to describe and analyze the background of Mohammad Hatta’s life, the role of Mohammad Hatta in developing cooperation in Indonesia and the obstacles faced by him while he was developing cooperation in Indonesia. The method of this study is a method with a historical, data analysis, and it is an analytical and descriptive study. The result of this study shows that Mohammad Hatta gained modern education in TIS ( Tweedw Inlandsche School ) or Sekolah Ongko Loro, ELS ( Europeesche Lagere School ), HBS ( Hogere Burgere School ) and MULO ( Meer Uitgebreid Lager Onderwijs ). Meanwhile the cooperation experience of Mohammad Hatta started when he became a member of Jong Sumatranen Bond Executive and Joined in foreign university student organization of foreign university student ( Indische Vereeninging ). The roles played by Mohammad Hatta in developing cooperation in Indonesia are when he become the founding father of cooperation, when hw had done reorganization of cooperation, gave advices to the commite of the cooperation congress, developed the cooperation and educated cadres of cooperation. In developing cooperation in Indonesia, Mohammad Hatta also faced many different kind of obstacles.Key Words : Mohammad Hatta, Cooperation Indonesia

Abstract

Abstrack: The diverse customary laws still apply to Indonesian ethnic groups. Indigenous peoples in Indonesia are divided into three groups, namely: Patrineal family structure, Matrineal family, and Parental family. Inheritance, patrineal law still distinguishes gender, one of them is the division of inheritance in Batak Toba society. The purpose of this research is (1) To know the structure of kinship and the procedure of dividing inheritance in Toba Batak society (2) To know the position of girls in the division of Toba Batak's inheritance (3) To know Batak Toba community in relation of perception of Toba Batak women to the division inheritance in Batak Toba society. The research benefits are Giving a thought discipline of science especially sociology, anthropology, and law of inheritance, who want to study aspects of culture in customary order that integrates society through the division of inheritance. This research is also expected to increase the knowledge of traditional figures, the community and the world of academia and government, related to the perception and position of girls in obtaining the inheritance in Batak Toba society. The results showed that the Toba Batak kinship structure in Kecamatan Siborongborong still following patrineal kinship system. Assuming that girls do not accept that they do not get the inheritance of their parents, but at this moment the position of boys and girls together has been entitled / part of the estate of his parents. Included also in terms of getting the education has got the same rights. The Batak Toba community in Siborongborong sub-district has included girls as heirs, according to the agreement of parents and heirs.Keywords: Girls, Inheritance, Batak Toba

Abstract

Abstract: Major Abdullah is one of the military figures of the Indonesian National Police who maintained independence from the Republic of Indonesia in Pekanbaru in 1945-1949. Major Abdullah was born on February 3, 1932 in Pekanabaru by parents named Ibrahim and Aisha. Major Abdullah was the second of four children who defended the independence of the Republic of Indonesia in Pekanbaru in 1945-1949. The purpose of this study was to determine the background of Major Abdullah's life, to determine Major Abdullah's role in maintaining the independence of the Republic of Indonesia in Pekanbaru in 1945-1949, to end Major's struggle To find out Abdullah in maintaining the independence of the Republic of Indonesia in Pekanbaru in 1945-1949 and to learn the prize Major Abdullah received from the government. Data analysis uses a historical writing method that consists of several stages, namely heuristics, verification, interpretation and historiography. The results of this study are the role of Major Abdullah as the right-hand man of Lt. Col. Hasan Basri, then became the president of the student army platoon flying the red and white flags in Pekanbaru and became an information courier in the Moutbatten Hotel attack. in Pekanbaru for Lieutenant Colonel Hasan Basri. After the end of the battle in 1945-1949, Major Abdullah returned to the National Police Force until 1986. Abstract

Abstract: Education for the Indonesian nation is one of the most important sectors in national development and is made as the mainstay that functions as much as possible in an effort to improve the quality of human life. Indonesia is a large country with a long history, and many have historical figures, both historical figures on the island of Sumatra, Java, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, and other islands. As one example in the Minahasa region of North Sulawesi province was born a female education leader who struggled to raise the dignity of women in his day. The figure is Maria Walanda Maramis, is one of the figures that play a role in advancing education in Minahasa District, North Sulawesi Province, especially education for women. The objectives of this research are: (1) Knowing the life history of Maria Walanda Maramis (2) Knowing the background of the organization of Mother-to-Child Association (PIKAT) in Minahasa (3) Knowing the role of Maria Walanda Maramis in advancing education for women in Minahasa (4 ) Knowing the comparative role of Mary Walanda Maramis with her contemporaries (5) Knowing the end of Maria Walanda Maramis's struggle in advancing the education of women in Minahasa. The method used in this study is a historical method with an approach that explains the problem in a narrative and descriptive. The data obtained from the literature and documents available are then analyzed in their own language. Data analysis techniques used are using comparative study by making a comparison of the role of a character written with a character that his contemporaries. The result of this research is Maria Walanda Maramis is a prominent figure of woman education advocate to advance woman's education level in Minahasa, starting from establishing an organization that is Association of Mother to Child (PIKAT) aiming to make Minahasa woman become skilled and intelligent woman, so that Minahasa women after adulthood are not just waiting for prospective husbands to come apply but can earn income and when become a housewife to be a smart mother, on the other hand Maria Walanda Maramis also founded a school for women, can be seen from the efforts made Maria Walanda Maramis , has brought great changes to the people of Minahasa even Indonesia.Keywords: Maria Walanda Maramis, Role, Minahasa.JOM

Abstract: The role of women in the historical trajectory of the struggle of theIndonesian people has not been much studied. One of the female figures who alsocontributed to the Indonesian people was Misbah Djalilah. This study aims todetermine: (1) To find out the life history of the Misbah Djalilah; (2) To find out thecharacter of Misbah Djalilah as a warrior in Siak Sri Indrapura in 1926-2007; (3) Tofind out the end of the struggle and the end of the history of the Misbah Djalilah. In thisstudy the authors used the historical method, which is a research method used to makea reconstruction of the past systematically and objectively by collecting data, evaluatingin detail the evidence to explain the facts and obtain strong conclusions. The results ofthis study are as follows: (1) Misbah Djalilah was born in Tanjung Pura Langkat, NorthSumatra on January 1, 1926. Tanjung pura is a sub-district in Langkat Regency, NorthSumatra. The name Misbah is given the full name Misbah. Follow the bint of H. Sa'ban.Misbah Djalilah since childhood has received the world of education. The Sultan senthim to study at HIS Siak and continued his education at Diniyah Putri Padang Panjang.(2) The figure of Misbah is described as follows: a. Misbah Involvement in the FujinkaiOrganization, b. Misbah Struggle Djalilah as members of class unity c, c. MisbahDjalilah during the Physical Revolution, d. Misbah Get Started as a Teacher in a publicschool in Selatbaru Bengkalis district (3) On January 17, 2007 he died at Ibnu SinaHospital Pekanbaru at 23:45 WIB after undergoing treatment for several days, due tofalling ill on January 1, 2007, and was buried on January 18 at Taman BahagiaKusuma Bhakti Veterans Cemetery Jl. Abstract

Abstract: The independence achieved by the Indonesian people proclaimed on August 17, 1945, is not the end of the Indonesian struggle against Dutch colonialism. The Dutch returned to take control of Indonesia, so that the Indonesian nation still had to struggle to maintain the independence that had been achieved. This is evidenced by the existence of armed clashes, even in several cities suddenly become a battle, plus Dutch activities that carry out police actions that cause resistance in various regions, including Bengkalis. One of the events that happened in Bengkalis against the Dutch attack is known as the Sosoh War. The objectives of this study are (1) To find out the background of the arrival of the Dutch in Bengkalis Post Independence, (2) To find out the process of the Sosoh War in maintaining independence in the Pedekik Village of Bengkalis Regency in 1949, (3) To find out the end of the struggle of the TNI and troops Sabilillah after the Sosoh War in maintaining independence in the Pedekik Village of Bengkalis Regency in 1949, (4) To find out comparisons with the results of previous studies. The method used in this research is to use history methods with data collection techniques, namely interviews, observation, documentation and literature. The research location is in the Village of Pedekik. The results showed that the Sosoh War was a war between TNI and Sabilillah forces in the fight against the Dutch Military Aggression II in 1949 in the village of Pedekik. One of the physical struggles in dealing with the Netherlands was also carried out by a group of Islamic fighters, namely the Sabilillah Army. The Sosoh War in the Village of Pedekik resulted in a conflict between the Dutch and the Indonesian side, causing the nation’s warriors to die. As a nation's generation, we should respect and appreciate their services and not forget the history that exists in this country.Key Words: Village of Pedekik, Defending Independence, Sosoh War
