Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the level of responsiveness of complaint services at the Gresik Regency Resort Police. This research method uses a type of quantitative research with a case study approach. The informants in this study were the head of SPKT, complaints service officers, call center officers and people who had made complaints. The data collection techniques used are observation and interviews. The results showed that in general the Responsiveness Level of Community Complaint Services at the Gresik Regency Resort Police as measured using indicators put forward by Zeithaml consisting of Officers / Administrators Perform Services Quickly, and Officers / Administrators Perform Services Appropriately in a very good category. Responding to Every Customer / Applicant Who Wants to Get Service, Officers / Administrators Perform Services Carefully, Officers / Administrators Perform Services with the Right Time, and All Customer Complaints are Responded to by Officers in the category quite well or quite responsive.

Abstract

Nyamuk merupakan vektor utama penyebaran penyakit seperti Demam Berdarah Dengue, malaria, dan chikungunya yang mengancam kesehatan masyarakat Indonesia. Kelurahan Gunung Anyar, Surabaya menghadapi masalah tingginya populasi nyamuk yang mengganggu aktivitas sosial masyarakat. Penggunaan obat nyamuk kimia yang dominan menimbulkan efek samping berupa iritasi pernapasan, terutama pada anak-anak dan lansia, serta berdampak negatif terhadap lingkungan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan mengembangkan alternatif pengusir nyamuk alami berbasis serai melalui program edukasi dan pelatihan pembuatan spray anti nyamuk. Kegiatan dilaksanakan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode Participatory Action Research (PAR) yang melibatkan 30 peserta ibu-ibu PKK. Spray serai dibuat menggunakan metode maserasi dengan perbandingan serai segar dan alkohol 70% sebesar 1:2 selama 3 hari. Hasil menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi peserta dalam mengikuti pelatihan dan kemampuan memahami proses pembuatan. Produk spray serai memiliki karakteristik warna kuning kehijauan, aroma segar tidak menyengat, dan aman digunakan tanpa efek samping. Program ini berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat tentang penggunaan bahan alami yang ramah lingkungan dan mendorong kemandirian dalam pengendalian nyamuk berkelanjutan.

Abstract

SAMSAT (One Roof Integrated Administration System) is a government institution in Indonesia that is tasked with managing motor vehicle administration. Samsat also functions to facilitate the administration of motor vehicles, especially in the issuance of STNK, TNKB (vehicle registration plate), Motor Vehicle Tax Payment (PKB), Motor Vehicle Transfer Fee (BBNKB), and Mandatory Contributions to Road Traffic Accident Funds. The Samsat Office operates with the aim of providing fast, efficient, and transparent services to the public. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the Quality of Payment Services. The method used is descriptive qualitative, using observation and interview techniques. The results of the study The Joint Samsat Office of Bangkalan Regency is obliged to satisfy its customers as a public service organization. This is one effort to increase public satisfaction in terms of service quality. The author will describe the data analysis in accordance with the research plan that has been in the research proposal on the Quality of Motor Vehicle Tax Payment Services at the Joint Samsat Office of Bangkalan Regency after summarizing the results of the study in the form of interviews and other supporting data related to the Bangkalan Samsat Office. There are several dimensions of service quality at the Samsat Office that are still lacking, so it requires improvement in the performance of employees/apparatus at the Samsat office in Bangkalan Regency.

Abstract

Pemerintah Kabupaten Sidoarjo memiliki tugas dan tanggung jawab untuk menjaga lingkungan sungai dalam rangka menanggulangi bencana banjir. Salah satu upayanya adalah melalui pelaksanaan Program Jihad Rawat Kali yang merupakan langkah dalam normalisasi lingkungan sungai di Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Penelitian ini mengkaji bagaimana peran pemerintah dalam Program Jihad Rawat Kali dan keberlanjutannya di Desa Bluru Kidul. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana fungsi pemerintah dalam pelaksanaan Program Jihad Rawat Kali sebagai inisiatif pengelolaan lingkungan sungai di Desa Bluru Kidul. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dan fokus utama kajian meliputi empat peran pemerintah, yaitu sebagai regulator, dinamisator, fasilitator, dan motivator. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemerintah masih belum maksimal sebagai regulator karena belum adanya regulasi khusus, cukup berhasil sebagai dinamisator walaupun penyebaran informasi belum merata, aktif sebagai fasilitator meskipun terdapat keterbatasan alat berat, serta berperan sebagai motivator dengan kampanye edukasi dan apresiasi, tetapi partisipasi masyarakat masih membutuhkan penguatan kesadaran kolektif. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan rekomendasi kebijakan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas dan keberlanjutan pengelolaan lingkungan berbasis partisipasi masyarakat.

Abstract

Health is a fundamental right of every individual and a key factor in achieving social welfare. In Indonesia, health development is aimed at improving access to and quality of health services that are equitable, affordable, and of high quality. This study aims to assess the quality of outpatient services at the Turi Subdistrict Health Center, Lamongan Regency, based on the five Servqual dimensions: Tangibles, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, and Empathy. A quantitative research method was employed, with a random sample of 100 outpatients selected from an average population of 3,159 patients over the past six months. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire with a four-point Likert scale and analyzed descriptively. The research results show that the five dimensions of service quality, received positive ratings from the majority of respondents, with agreement rates ranging from 75% to 78%. Physical facilities and cleanliness support patient comfort, while services generally align with established promises and procedures. Staff are also rated as responsive and capable of providing clear information, although administrative procedures still need to be simplified. Staff competence and polite attitudes create a sense of safety and trust among patients. Staff attention to individual patient needs further enhances the positive relationship between patients and healthcare personnel. This study confirms that the quality of outpatient services at Turi Health Center is already of good quality, but continuous improvement is still needed, particularly in simplifying administrative procedures. These findings can serve as a basis for developing policies to improve the quality of healthcare services at the local level.

Abstract

Indonesia is a democratic country that uses an electoral system for every change of president. High quality general elections are very important to realize people's sovereignty in a democratic state government based on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. To hold democratic elections, professional election organizers are needed who have integrity, capacity and accountability. The General Election Commission is an example. In this research, the author uses a descriptive approach as a qualitative research method. Qualitative research is a type of research that describes and analyzes events, phenomena, social activities, attitudes, beliefs, perceptions and thoughts of individuals and groups. Data was collected from interviews with three informants from the General Election Commission, which is responsible for logistics management for the 2024 election. As shown by the distribution of logistics for the 2024 election, the results show that the East Java Province General Election Commission manages state property well, including logistics election. However, several improvements and strengthening are needed in the human resources sector as well as warehouse and other logistics infrastructure so that the upcoming General Election can take place optimally and according to planning. Our common goal is successful simultaneous elections in 2024 with transparent financial administration and accountability.   Keywords: Management; Elections; KPU

Abstract

Policies in a government agency are also made to respond to the needs and problems faced by the community. In the context of the policy of preparing a Letter of Responsibility (SPJ) in the finance division, the General Elections Commission (KPU) was made to ensure transparency and accountability of KPU financial management. SPJ is an important document used to account for the use of the budget that has been received by the KPU. SPJ must be prepared completely, accurately, and in accordance with applicable regulations. This research uses qualitative research methodology with a descriptive approach method. The results of this study stated that the policy of preparing SPJ in the Financial Division of the KPU of East Java Province has been quite effective,  it can be seen from the conformity  of the principles of SPJ applied in the Finance Division of the KPU of East Java Province, but in its implementation there are still several things that can be improved to increase the effectiveness of the preparation of SPJ in the Financial Division of the KPU of East Java Province.   Keywords: Policy; Effectiveness; SPJ

Abstract

Waste management at the Jatibarang Landfill, Semarang, faces challenges due to incinerator exhaust gas emissions, potentially decreasing air quality, and posing health risks to surrounding communities. This community service program implemented a smoke washer (wet scrubber) adapted to the conditions of a simple incinerator. The activities included designing and fabricating the device, integrating electrical and control systems, providing operational training for partners (CV Dewa Nata Persada and Jatibarang Landfill), and conducting field testing of exhaust gas quality. The tested parameters consisted of particulate matter (PM), carbon monoxide (CO), and sulfur dioxide (SO₂), which were compared with the quality standards of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry Regulation No. P.70 of 2016. The measurement results indicated that all parameters were below the threshold limits, with pollutant concentrations decreasing from the initial operation to the following hours, signifying more stable performance of the device under steady-state operating conditions. These findings demonstrate the importance of the community service program in enhancing partners’ awareness and capacity in environmentally friendly waste management, underscoring the project's significant impact.
