Abstract

The development of the sharia banking industry is increasingly diverse, with many sharia products and services, with good corporate governance that is important to practice. The purpose of this study is to prove whether or not there is an effect of the implementation of Good Corporate Governance on financial performance. The type of research used is quantitative with an associative approach and secondary data. Purpose sampling technique is used as a sampling technique. Sources of data taken using secondary data are time series obtained from the company. The data analysis technique in this research uses data analysis in the form of panel data. The study found that only the audit committee board has a significant effect on financial performance. Meanwhile, other results prove that good corporate governance has a significant role in the company's financial performance.

Abstract

Waqf management is the process of an organization in planning, organizing, leadership, and supervising various efforts of Nazhir to support the organization in achieving optimal goals. The purpose of this study is to determine how the implementation of the cash waqf fundraising strategy implemented in the Al-Azhar Waqf institution. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach and uses purposive sampling. The results of this study concluded that the money waqf fundraising strategy by the Al-Azhar Waqf institution was implemented using the 5 ways method of funding and increasing your waqf fund. In addition, the Al-Azhar Waqf institution in carrying out the fundraising management strategy has implemented the fundraising management functions properly, namely planning, organizing, leadership, and supervision. However, in the implementation of fundraising activities there are obstacles that need to be considered in order to launch waqf fundraising activities, namely the lack of human resources both in terms of quality and quantity. Thus, this obstacle becomes an obstacle in the productivity of fundraiser activities in optimizing the collection of waqf funds.

Abstract

The citizen of Java Island has an exciting and sacred cultural diversity to carry out. One of the traditions is donating to the wedding procession or what is often known as buwuh. Buwuh is an activity to attend an event or celebration to provide assistance or donations to the owner of the intention. It can be goods, money, or services. The purpose of this study was to determine the cultural practices and traditions of buwuh in the community in Rangkah Village, Surabaya City, and to find out the cultural and traditional practices of buwuh from the Islamic Economics’s perspective. This research is field research, data obtained directly from the field with data collection techniques using interviews, documentation, and observation. The nature of this research is descriptive qualitative to describe the culture and traditions of buwuh as debts in marriage customs. The results of this study indicate that there are two different points of view on the buwuh. The first group is stating that the cultural and traditional practices of buwuh are considered a grant because, in practice, they are purely gifts. The second group stated that the cultural and traditional practices of buwuh are considered an account payable because there is a transaction where they must be returned.

Abstract

Customer servce in a company and institutions especially those engaged in the service sector, has the function of providing good service so as to create satisfaction in consumers, by paying attention to ethics. The purpose of this study is to determine how the implementation of customer service on consumer satisfaction in the perspective of Islamic business ethics at LAZNAS Nurul Hayat Surabaya. This research used a descriptive qualitative using purposive sampling methods. This research has subject to be studied, namely internal and external, where the internal subjects are managers and staff customer service of LAZNAS Nurul Hayat Surabaya, and external subjects are consumers of LAZNAS Nurul Hayat Surabaya. The results of this study can be known that the implementation of customer service services in creating satisfaction in consumers has applied the general dimension of service, namely tangibles, responsivess, reliability, assurance, and emphaty. In addition, the implementation of customer service services in creating satisfaction in consumers has applied the principles of Islamic Business Ethics, namely the principle of unity, the principle of equilibrium, the principle of free will, the principle of responsibility, and the principle of benevolence.

Abstract

Rahn is a pawn service product that is based on sharia principles. Ensure that in marketing the product, there are several stages of strategy which include planning, implementation, and evaluation. The purpose of this study is to find out and analyze how the marketing strategy of sharia pawn products is applied to the Pegadaian Syariah Blauran Surabaya Branch, especially during the covid-19 pandemic. This research uses descriptive qualitative method and purposive sampling technique. The results of this study conclude that the marketing strategy used by Pegadaian Blauran Surabaya Branch in increasing customer interest during the pandemic includes 3 processes, namely strategic planning, strategy implementation, and strategy evaluation. These three things are interrelated and to achieve company goals. In the planning strategy, Pegadaian Syariah Blauran Surabaya Branch plans the target market and the target market to be addressed, namely potential customers. Then in the implementation of the strategy, Pegadaian Syariah Blauran Surabaya Branch carried out a 7P marketing mix strategy, namely: product, place, price, promotion, people, physical evidence, and processes. And the last is the strategy evaluation, the Pegadaian Syariah Blauran Surabaya routinely evaluates once a month. The process of the three marketing strategies carried out by Pegadaian Syariah Blauran Surabaya Branch has been carried out well, as evidenced by a very significant increase in the number of customers from 2020-2022.

Abstract

In build a coffee shop business, business people often apply their marketing strategies without regard to Islamic business ethical values. At a well-known coffee shop, one of the coffee shop employees removes the customer's favorite menu to avoid order buildup. This study aims to determine the implementation of the marketing mix marketing strategy at Afterwork Caffeine coffee shops in Surabaya with the view of Islamic Business Ethics. The method used is descriptive qualitative research method with a field research approach, with data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the results of the research carried out that the implementation of the marketing mix marketing strategy at the Afterwork Caffeine coffee shop has been carried out by taking into account the seven marketing mix variables. The Afterwork Caffeine coffee shop has also implemented the values of Islamic business ethics which include monotheism, balance, free will, responsibility, and benevolence.

Abstract

This research aims to know the effect of the legal label on consumer loyalty in the consuming of a snack on Unesa Ketintang. This research is a study that uses quantitative research that aims to analyze the influence that’s going on between legal label and consumer loyalty in regard to consumption. The data used in this research is data questionnaires and data processing to the spiritual islamic student on Unesa Ketintang. This research uses simple regression analysis using a validation test and reliability test. While for the hypothesis test using t test, f test, and R2 . It may be concluded that in a partial information, the legal label has a significant impact on consumer loyalty. Abstract

Employees as the main factor certainly have a more important role in the control of an enterprise and operational management. One of the instruments that can improve the quality and expertise of the employee is the culture of sharia organization.This research is a quantitative research which aims to find out how big influence of organizational culture of sharia toward employee work productivity at PT Hasanah Mulia Investama. The results of research conducted with independent variables of sharia organizational culture with work team, integrity, professionalism, tawakkal, responsibility, and care through saturated sampling technique with questionnaire questioning method, it can be concluded that the sharia organization culture in PT Hasanah Mulia Investama as a whole has an effect on productivity employee work.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know how the influence of marketing mix variables of the bank on customer loyalty at BTN Syariah Kc Surabaya. This research is quantitative research. Methods of data collection used questionnaires distributed to respondents. The number of samples (respondents) in this research that is 100 customers selected by purposive sampling technique. Data analysis used a simple regression statistic model. The data were processed using the test of reliability, validity test, classical assumption test and statistical test. From result of data processing show that Marketing Mix of Bank have positive and significant influence to customer loyalty with influence value 13,6% and proven t count (3,395) bigger than (>) t table (1,987), so it can be concluded that the higher Marketing Mix of the Bank, the higher the loyalty of customers at BTN Syariah Kc Surabaya

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effects of religiousity towards the performance of muslim employees of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara XI Head Office. This study is using quantitive approach. The number of samples in this study are 72 respondents which taken from employees who are Muslims by using simple random sampling technique. This study use questionnaires measured using Likert Scale and analyzed using SPSS 21 program. The results of this study indicate that the religiousity variable has a linear relation with performance variable. Based on the T test, the result shows that the variable religiousity has a significant influence towards the performance variable. Based on the R square test, the result shows that religiousity variable have influence equal to 39,3% to performance variable.
