Abstract

الإسلام هو الدين الذي يعلم الناس إلى قوة في الاقتصاد. هذا الجانب الاقتصادي مهمّ جدا، و في أصول الفقه كان واحدا من الأمور المحفوظة التي تشتهر بالأمورالضرورية للناس وهي : الدين والنفس والعقل والنسل والمال. وهذا يناسب الى الغرض من الشريعة هو حكمة البشر في الدنيا والآخرة. من ناحية أخرى، هناك المؤسسات الدينية التي لها القوة المعنوية، لذلك لها دور مهمّ في التمكين الاقتصادي للشعب. و وجدت في الإسلام المؤسستان التان تتعاملان مباشرة مع الناس وهما مدرسة داخلية و مسجد. ودورالمؤسسات الدينية فى تمكين الاقتصادي اثنان على الاقل , هما موعظة حسنة و أسوة حسنة . وهما من الأدوار المهمة التي يحتاج بعد ذلك إلى أن تنفذ في النشاط الحقيقي. ودور المؤسسات الدينية فى موعظة حسنة يمكن أن تتحقق في شكل زيادة في الموارد البشرية, منها خلال التدريب الجيد، والتعليم، و توفير الحافز على أهمية وجود اقتصاد قوي. ودور المؤسسات الدينية فى أسوة حسنة يمكن أن تتحقق في خلال إنشاء "بيت المال و التمويل" . تعامل بيت المال و التمويل على تمكين الاقتصادي بتحويل الأموال من المجتمع والعودة الى المؤسسات الصغيرة والمتوسطة، وخصوصا أصحاب المشاريع المسلمين الذين يحتاجون إلى رأس المال لتطوير الأعمال من خلال توفير التسهيلات التمويلية الموافقة على أساس مبادئ الشريعة الإسلامية مثل المرابحة، والمضاربة، والمشاركة ، القرض، وغير ذالك

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of waḍī‘ah savings, Non-Performing Financing (NPF), and Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) on the profitability (Return on Assets/ROA) of PT. Bank BTPN Syariah Tbk, focusing on its flagship product, Tepat Sharia Financing, over the period 2015–2023. Employing an associative quantitative approach, the research utilizes secondary quarterly financial data analyzed through multiple linear regression using EViews 12. The results demonstrate that waḍī‘ah savings have a significant positive effect on profitability, while both NPF and FDR exert significant negative effects on ROA. The model explains 75.91% of the variation in profitability. These findings highlight the critical role of liquidity management and credit risk control in ensuring the sustainability of Islamic microfinance-focused banks. The key contribution of this study to the international Islamic banking literature lies in its empirical evidence from a microfinance-driven Islamic bank model, which remains underexplored globally. It underscores how tailored savings products combined with responsible risk management can enhance financial performance, offering valuable insights for Islamic banks operating in emerging economies with similar socio-economic contexts.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of personal and social factors on members' decisions to choose BMT NU Ngasem Kapas Branch as funding. The research method applied is through a quantitative approach, by collecting primary data through distributing questionnaires in the form of Google from. Samples were taken using the probability sampling method with the criteria of financing members at BMT NU Ngasem Kapas Branch. The results of research using the SPSS program show that in hypothesis testing, namely partial and simultaneous tests, personal and social factors have a significant influence on members' decisions in choosing BMT NU Ngasem Kapas Branch as funding. The existence of personal factors and social factors strengthens members' decisions in choosing BMT NU Ngasem as funding.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the performance of BTPN Syariah bank from 2021 to 2023 using the maqashid sharia index method. The instrument for assessing the performance of sharia banks is the maqashid sharia index which measures the success of a business based on the benefits provided to the wider community. This research uses a quantitative methodology with a descriptive approach, utilizing data sources originating from the annual financial reports of BTPN Syariah bank. Research findings show that the value of the maqashid sharia index on the performance of BTPN Syariah bank has fluctuated. This shows that the performance of BTPN Syariah bank in 2021–2023 is not as good as expected in fulfilling maqashid sharia objectives. The decline in the maqashid sharia index ratio value is currently the cause of the performance of BTPN Syariah bank. Additionally, certain ratios, such as reasonable profits and personal income, cannot be calculated. This is because BTPN Syariah bank does not manage zakat funds and does not apply the PER ratio in the financial audit system in its annual financial reports.

Abstract

Adanya pandemi Covid-19 membuat pemerintah harus mengeluarkan kebijakan Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar (PSBB) untuk meminimalisir penyebaran virus kepada masyarakat. PSBB ini membuat praktik ekonomi masyarakat menjadi terbatas. Terbatasnya praktik ekonomi mengakibatkan pengurangan jam kerja, penurunan pendapatan, dan PHK masal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis praktik, peluang dan tantangan, serta peran program GAMASYA dalam menciptakan ekosistem usaha yang adaptif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan memilih LAZIS Nurul Falah Surabaya sebagai lokasi penelitian. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa program GAMASYA memiliki peluang untuk menciptakan ekosistem usaha yang adaptif dengan menguatkan potensi dari aspek digitalisasi dan kemitraan untuk keberlanjutan jangka panjang. Implikasi praktik dari penelitian ini digunakan sebagai masukan atau bahan evaluasi bagi instansi mengenai program GAMASYA sehingga mampu berkelanjutan dengan memperhatikan aspek peluang yang ada.

Abstract

Ditengah situasi krisis ekonomi khususnya pada bidang pangan saat ini maka perlu suatu upaya pemberdayaan yang berkaitan dengan pangan. Arisan kelompok tani merupakan salah satu komunitas di Desa Werungotok Kabupaten Nganjuk yang dibentuk sebagai salah satu upaya pemberdayaan untuk dapat mendorong kesejahteraan masyarakatnya melalui kegiatan-kegiatan yang diadakan. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengkaji praktik arisan kelompok tani pada Desa Werungotok sebagai upaya pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam perspektif ekonomi Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa arisan kelompok tani sebagai upaya pemberdayaan dinilai sangat bermanfaat bagi masyarakat tani Desa Werungotok, namun juga pada praktiknya terdapat suatu permasalahan dimana pada praktik arisan yang dilakukan dinilai kurang sesuai dengan akad-akad dalam ekonomi syariah khususnya pada akad qardh. Penelitian ini memiliki implikasi terhadap pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan mengenai bagaimana bermuamalah secara islami khususnya dalam hal arisan.

Abstract

Islam teaches productivity. However, there are still many Muslims live below the poverty line. This paper aims to analyze the productivity concept in the Islamic Economics perspective. This paper used the library research method, which focuses on various literature that discussed productivity in the Islamic Economics perspective. The data was analyzed using Content Analysis to identify the specific characteristics of the message or data that have been collected. The result showed that Islamic Economics teaches and pays attention to productivity, among them is making the best use of time. Productivity in Islamic economics is not only measured by the results of material (physical) but also immaterial (spiritual) and its orientation not only about the happiness in the world, but also the hereafter.

Abstract

This community engagement program was implemented in Ngadipuro Village, Wonotirto District, Blitar Regency, an area with high tourism potential due to its strategic location along the South Ring Road and its abundance of coastal attractions. Despite this potential, the village has not yet achieved optimal tourism development, as reflected in its low SDGs indicators, limited digitalization, and weak institutional capacity of the local tourism group, Pokdarwis Dewata Puro. This program aimed to strengthen tourism governance through digital innovation, halal tourism development, and capacity building for local stakeholders. Using the Community-Based Research (CBR) approach, the program involved collaborative problem identification, intervention design, implementation, and evaluation with community partners. Key activities included the trial use of the Alamkuindonesia.com e-ticketing system, the creation of a halal tourism map supported by halal certification for local MSMEs, and a series of training sessions on tourism digitalization and financial management. The results show significant improvements in participants’ knowledge, as demonstrated by increased post-test scores, enhanced operational skills in digital tourism tools, and stronger awareness of halal tourism principles. The program also strengthened multi-stakeholder collaboration between the university, Pokdarwis, and partner organizations. Overall, this community service initiative successfully improved digital capacity, financial literacy, and halal tourism readiness in Ngadipuro Village. These outcomes indicate that integrated digital solutions and community empowerment strategies can support sustainable tourism development and contribute to improving village SDGs performance. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of maqasid shariah values in the management of the waqf of land and building of Mushola As-Sanusy in Surabaya City and its implications for community empowerment. The maqasid shariah approach is used as an analytical framework to assess the extent to which waqf management can realize substantive public benefit, not limited to legal-formal aspects. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data collection techniques were carried out through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The research subjects consisted of the donor’s family, the mushola’s administrators, and the congregation. Data analysis was conducted using an interactive analysis model that includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results show that the waqf management of Mushola As-Sanusy has applied maqasid shariah values through worship activities, religious education, and social community activities. However, waqf utilization still tends to be consumptive, so the development of productive waqf becomes a strategic need to strengthen the hifz al-mal aspect and the economic empowerment of the community.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Islamic boarding school (pesantren) economic empowerment program implemented by LAZNAS PPPA Daarul Qur’an East Java through a catfish cultivation business unit at Daru Ulil Albab Pesantren, Nganjuk. The research methodology employed is descriptive qualitative with a phenomenological approach to comprehend the profound experiences of both managers and students (santri). Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation. The results demonstrate that the empowerment program is effective and has successfully enhanced the economic independence of the pesantren while equipping students with practical entrepreneurial skills. These findings are based on three primary indicators: First, target accuracy was achieved through the allocation of productive capital in the form of 1,000 catfish fingerlings. Second, program success is reflected in the transformation of a previously failed business unit into a productive one. Third, the adaptation aspect was realized through a structured monitoring system. This study recommends the standardization of routine monitoring schedules and the equal distribution of technical training for all students to ensure the future sustainability of the program.
