Abstract

Islamic financial institutions are currently growing rapidly. Based on the data from the Financial Services Authority in 2018 there were 34 Islamic Banking in Indonesia. From this data, 13 include Sharia Commercial Banks (BUS) and the other 21 are the Sharia Business Units (UUS). As the growth of Islamic financial institutions, it requires internal control in carrying out banking operations. Therefore, this study aims to determine the implementation and impact of the internal sharia audits at BNI Syariah Branch Office Surabaya. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method and in-depth interview. The results of this study indicate that the implementation impact of sharia internal audits are in accordance with the applicable standard. Particularly the impact of sharia internal audits increases the effectiveness and efficiency of banking activities both in terms of accounting control and administrative control.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the correlation of income and attitudes of the Muslim society in Semampir District Surabaya with interest in paying cash waqf. The independent variable in this study consisted of 2 variables, namely income variables and attitude variables. Income variables are measured using indicators of the amount of wages, other income and household expenses. While attitude variables are measured using cognitive, affective and conative component indicators. The dependent variable in this study is interest and measured using indicators of awareness, choice, attention and desire. This research method uses a quantitative approach with Kendall's correlation analysis and multiple correlation. The sample in this study amounted to 100 respondents using accidental sampling technique. The results of this study indicate that income has a low and significant correlation with interest in paying cash waqf with a value of 0.200. Whereas the attitude has a moderate and significant correlation with the interest in paying cash waqf with a value of 0.404. And there is a moderate and significant correlation between income and attitudes of the Muslim society in Semampir District Surabaya with an interest in paying cash waqf with a value of 0.573.

Abstract

The practice of sende is one of the financing solutions commonly used by the people of Rejoagung village. The majority of Rejoagung villagers are followers of Islam, so whatever is done in living their lives must be in accordance with the guidance of the Shari'ah no exception in the implementation of the practice of sende. Qualitative descriptive is a method used in this study, which aims to determine the implementation of sende practices in the Rejoagung village and Islamic economic perspective on these practices. Based on the research that has been done shows that the practice of sende is a practice that involves two parties between the debtor and the creditor with the rice fields as collateral for the debt. Rice fields can be used by lenders so that those who are in debt can make up for it. According to the Shari'a, the practice has legitimacy in accordance with the opinions of the ulama.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of understanding usury and profit sharing on the decision of customers' savings at BNI Syariah Surabaya Branch Office. This research was conducted by using a quantitative approach. The number of samples used in this study were 100 Muslim respondents who were taken from customers by using questionnaires measured through a test scale and likert and analyzed by using SPSS program assistance. The results of this study indicate that partially understanding of usury does not have a significant effect on the on the decision of customers' savings. Based on the T test that has been conducted shows that the understanding of profit sharing has a significant effect on the decision of customers' savings. According to R square test, usury and understanding of profit sharing have a percentage effect up to 8.9% on saving decision.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative research which aims to determine the distribution model of zakat funds in community economic empowerment at the Pasuruan City National Amil Zakat Agency. From the results of the research conducted it can be concluded that the process of distributing zakat funds in the economic empowerment of the people of BAZNAS in Pasuruan is an empowerment program, namely the Pasuruan Peduli, Pasuruan Makmur, Pasuruan Cerdas, and Pasuruan Bertaqwa. In terms of mustahiq income every month, mustahiq expenditures which include food ingredients, and other needs are above the average, in this case the standard of living mustahiq can be said to be prosperous.

Abstract

This research aimed to test the factors that influence welfare mustahiq of productive zakat utilization at Laznas Yatim Mandiri Surabaya (perceptions of the adequacy of productive zakat assistance, quality of age mustahiq, family interests, mentoring and guidance, and duration of business). The method used is associative quantitative. The samples of the research were 31 mustahiq with a purposive sampling technique. The analysis technique used is multiple linier regression. The result of this research showed that partially, the perception of the duration of business had a significant effect to the welfare of mustahiq Laznas Yatim Mandiri Surabaya and simultaneously perceptions of the adequacy of productive zakat assistance, quality of age mustahiq, family interests, mentoring and guidance, duration of business had a significant effect to the welfare of mustahiq Laznas Yatim Mandiri Surabaya.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of public perceptions of cash waqf on interest in representing money in the city of Surabaya. The independent variable in this study consisted of one variable, namely the perception variable about money waqf was measured using indicators of experience, knowledge, understanding and evaluation or assessment. The dependent variable in this study is interest and is measured using indicators of Inner Self, social motives and emotional or feeling factors. This research was conducted with an associative quantitative approach. The sample in this study amounted to 100 respondents using accidental sampling technique. This study uses a questionnaire with a likert scale. The results of this study indicate that the public perception variable about mony waqf has a significant effect on interest variables representing money in the city of Surabaya. As for based on the test results of the coefficient of determination (R2) shows that the perception variable has an influence of 36,9% on interest variables representing money.

Abstract

A woman in helping the family economy can be done through activities in the form of micro-activities such as trading. Many wives work as traders in the market Kedurus-Karang Pilang Surabaya to help improve the family economy. This research uses descriptive qualitative research, aims to determine the extent of the role of the wife in helping the family economy and what factors affect working wives. Data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the research are the roles that they do as traders are not the main job, because they also get a living from their husbands. The wifes who works also does not forget the role of a housewife. In reviewing Islamic Economic the wife's work does not conflict with Islamic law and this is one form of devotion helping the husband to support their children. Factors that encourage wife’s to work are economy, level of education, and also self-actualization. Another factor found is to fill leisure time and hobbies

Abstract

E-Commerce Shopee plays an important role in making it easier for people to fulfill their needs and desires in buying and selling. This study aims to assess the impact of customer perceptions on the implementation of Islamic business ethics principles on customer loyalty in e-commerce transactions at Shopee Surabaya. The research method used is quantitative by involving 100 respondents as a sample. The questionnaire was distributed through Google Form using a Likert scale to measure customer perceptions related to the implementation of Islamic business ethics principles and their impact on customer loyalty. The results showed that the variable of customer perception related to the implementation of Islamic business ethics principles had a positive effect on customer loyalty in conducting Shopee e-commerce transactions in Surabaya. However, it does not have a full effect, which is an effect of 35.4%. This study provides managerial implications for Shopee companies to better understand the principles of Islamic business ethics and implement them in the transaction process, to create and encourage an attitude of loyalty in consumers and will increase sales in Shopee e-commerce due to an attitude of customer loyalty.

Abstract

The research is aimed at identifying and testing the influence of halal certificates, viral marketing, and brand image on consumer purchasing decisions of mixue products. This research uses a quantitative associative approach, utilizing primary data obtained through the distribution of questionnaires. The distribution of these questionnaires successfully obtained 123 respondents. The method of analysis used in the research is double linear regression. The results of the research showed that the variables of a valid certificate and brand image influenced the purchase decision of Mixue products. Meanwhile, viral marketing variables have no influence on Mixue product purchase decisions. Meanwhile, these three variables simultaneously influence consumer purchasing decisions of mixed products. Therefore, by taking into account factors such as halal certificates obtained through the process of MUI make consumers more and more confident in the validity of Mixue products, as well as viral marketing of the Mixue product through some influencers as also reviews from other consumers
