Abstract

Reog art has become the identity of the Ponorogo district. Paguyuban Singo Mudo in Sidoharjo village, Ponorogo regency, is the only one that preserves the unique local wisdom of reog, namely reog dadak lar pitik. This reog was made because the community in Sidoharjo had difficulty getting peacock feathers and tiger skin as basic reog ingredients, so they were replaced with dadak lar pitik and civet skin. Then reog dadak lar pitik is believed to be a tradition to bring rain. This research aims to analyze the values of religious moderation in the local wisdom of reog dadak lar pitik. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach with ethnographic methods. The data collection tools were observation sheets, interview sheets, documentation, and Forum Group Discussion (FGD). The findings are first, preserving local culture can be seen in people who still uphold the reog dadak lar pitik performance as a means of bringing rain. Second, tolerance is seen in people who still respect the opinion of the belief that this reog can bring rain, even though many people no longer believe it. The third is the absence of conflict of belief, whether those who believe in the myth of reog dadak lar pitik can bring rain, because this reog was used as a means of da'wah. Fourth, patriotism is depicted in the characters of the reog actors who have a patriotic spirit. Kesenian reog menjadi identitas kabupaten Ponorogo. Paguyuban singo mudo di Desa Sidoharjo, kabupaten Ponorogo satu satunya yang melestarikan kearifan lokal reog yang unik yaitu reog dadak lar pitik. Reog dadak lar pitik dibuat karena masayarakat di Sidoharjo kesulitan mendapatkan bulu merak dan kulit harimau sebagai bahan dasar reog sehingga diganti dengan dadak lar pitik dan kulit musang. Kemuadian reog dadak lar pitik dipercaya sebagai tradisi untuk mendatangkan hujan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalissis nilai-nilai moderasi beragama dalam kearifan lokal reog dadak lar pitik. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode etnografi. Alat pengumpul data menggunakan lembar observasi, lembar wawancara, dokumentasi, dan Forum Group Discussion (FGD). Temuan penelitian ini pertama melestarikan budaya lokal tampak pada masyarakat yang masih memegang teguh pertunjukan reog dadak lar pitik sebagai sarana mendatangkan hujan. Ke dua, toleransi terlihat pada masyarakat yang tetap menghargai pendapat kepercayaan bahwa reog dadak lar pitik dapat mendatangkan hujan, walaupun banyak masyarakat yang sudah tidak percaya. Ke tiga perdamaian tampak dari tidak adanya konflik kepercayaan baik yang percaya dengan mitos reog dadak lar pitik dapat mendatangkan hujan atau tidak, karena reog dadak lar pitik dijadikan sarana dakwah. Ke empat, patriotisme tergambarkan pada tokoh-tokoh pemeran reog yang memiliki jiwa patriotisme.

Abstract

Technological advancements have provided easier and faster access to financial services, including through online lending applications, which can have significant implications for individual finances and household economic stability. As such, there is an urgent need to explore how their perceptions of the ease, risks and benefits of using online lending applications may influence their financial behavior. The purpose of this study is to gain a deeper understanding of the factors that influence the perceptions of the lower middle class towards online loan applications and also to provide a solid foundation for public policy designers and financial service providers. This research makes use of descriptive quantitative methods. In this study, a questionnaire-based interview serves as the research tool. One hundred participants were selected at random from the pool of potential respondents. Multiple linear regression is the data analysis tool employed in this research. According to the findings, individuals' perceptions of the ease and advantages of using online lending services (pinjol) significantly impact their behavior, whereas the impact of perceived risk is not statistically significant.

Abstract

The rapid digital transformation in education has posed unique challenges and opportunities for Islamic education, particularly in meeting the learning needs of the millennial generation. This study investigates the influence of curriculum innovation, lecturer interaction quality, and digital learning styles on the effectiveness of Islamic education among millennials in higher education institutions. Utilizing a quantitative, causal-associative approach, data were collected through structured questionnaires from students and lecturers. The analysis used Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) via SmartPLS 4.0. The results revealed that curriculum innovation and lecturer interaction have a strong, positive, and significant effect on educational effectiveness, while digital learning demonstrates a weaker but statistically significant effect. The study also confirms that millennial characteristics moderate these relationships, particularly enhancing the effects of curriculum innovation and digital learning. These findings suggest that to improve the effectiveness of Islamic education in the digital era; institutions should prioritize integrated strategies that combine innovative curriculum design, interactive pedagogical methods, and digitally adaptive learning environments aligned with generational learning preferences. This research contributes to the literature by offering a holistic and empirical framework that links educational Innovation with generational dynamics in Islamic higher education.

Abstract

Reyog Dadak Lar Pitik in Sidowayah Village, Krebet District, Ponorogo Regency is a form of local adaptation of the Ponorogo Reyog art, which is adapted to the socio-economic conditions of the local community. Limited access to primary materials such as peacock feathers and tiger skins has encouraged the community to utilise chicken feathers, which are abundantly available in the region, as the primary raw material. More than just an artistic performance, Reyog Dadak Lar Pitik is an important element in traditional rain-seeking rituals that are steeped in mystical values, unlike other Reyog variants. This study aims to uncover the mystical dimensions contained in the history of the birth of the belief that Reyog Dadak Lar Pitik can bring rain and its performances in traditional rain-seeking ceremonies, both before, during, and after the performance. The approach used is a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method. The theoretical framework used includes Max Weber's theory of charisma and spiritual leadership as well as Claude Lévi-Strauss's structuralist theory. Informants in this study consisted of the village head, the head of the Reyog Dadak Lar Pitik association, and several members of the association. The research results indicate mystical practices through a series of rituals such as genduri (gathering), the presentation of offerings as a symbol of a request for safety, the assignment of a specific jathil role to men, and the performance of lampah dodok (a kind of ritual offering) and offerings in the cemetery area as a form of respect for ancestors and spiritual powers. This study faces limitations due to the researchers' limited direct observation of the rituals, as the community performed the ceremonies only during periods of prolonged drought.

Abstract

Leadership based on Islamic spiritual values ​​has been proven to make a real contribution to strengthening the religiosity of the school community. This is reflected in the application of the principles of integrity and trust, as well as transformational values ​​that encourage idealistic influence, inspiring motivation, more critical thinking, and attention to individual needs. Leadership transformation in Islamic educational institutions is a strategic issue amidst the currents of managerial modernization and the degradation of spiritual values. This study aims to identify the form and direction of Islamic educational leadership transformation that harmonizes spiritual values ​​with managerial effectiveness. The research approach uses a library method with qualitative descriptive analysis, sourced from scientific literature such as books, journal articles, and relevant research findings. The study's results indicate that effective leadership transformation does not solely emphasize technocratic dimensions, but must be grounded in the spirituality of monotheism that fosters integrity, sincerity, and moral responsibility. The synergy between spiritual values ​​and managerial skills produces a transformative, humanistic, and meaningful leadership model, thereby strengthening institutional performance and building an ethical and value-oriented organizational culture.

Abstract

This article is about improving learning through listening teams and quizzes. Seeing the phenomenon of the low level of completeness of students in understanding the material presented in class, because they still use the lecture method which is considered less than optimal. So that the concept of the material is not understood by students. Therefore, we need a solution in teaching and learning activities to overcome the problems above, namely by using the Listening Team and Team Quiz methods as an alternative offer because it can arouse students’ enthusiasm and enthusiasm and develop children’s potential optimally. Experiments of listening team and team quiz learning models on student study results in Islamic Junior High School (Madrasah Tsanawiyah), especially in Social Sciences subjects (IPS).

Abstract

Prophetic leadership is a holistic, transformational approach based on Islamic values, integrating spiritual, ethical, and practical dimensions into organizational management. This study aims to explore the implementation of the prophetic values of shiddiq, amanah, tabligh, and fathonah in building a positive organizational culture in Islamic educational institutions through a literature review analyzing classical and contemporary literature. The results of the study indicate that the application of the principles of monotheism, justice, deliberation, and amar ma'ruf nahi munkar not only strengthens the moral dimension of leadership but also enhances the coherence of values and behavior within the organization. These values play a strategic role in creating a harmonious, just, transparent, and morally sustainable culture, while simultaneously encouraging the formation of an educational environment that prioritizes the development of superior character, integrity, and noble morals. However, the effectiveness of the prophetic leadership model depends heavily on the leader's consistency, the organization's structural readiness, and a commitment to comprehensive value transformation. This study provides theoretical and practical contributions to the development of an Islamic-based educational leadership model relevant to the demands of the modern era. It also offers comprehensive insights for Islamic educational institution managers in designing leadership strategies capable of creating a more equitable, adaptive, and sustainable education system.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the role of leader morals as the main pillar in shaping organizational behavior in Islamic educational institutions. The research uses a qualitative approach with a library research method, through reviewing various relevant literature sources, such as books, scientific articles, journals, and academic documents that discuss Islamic leadership and organizational behavior. Data analysis was conducted by reviewing, interpreting, and synthesizing relevant theories and findings to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the relationship between leadership morals and organizational behavior. The results showed that leader morals have a significant influence in creating conducive, harmonious, and productive organizational behavior in Islamic educational institutions. Leaders who have good morals, such as honesty (Shiddiq), trustworthiness, fairness, wisdom, and responsibility, are able to become moral and spiritual role models for all members of the organization. This example contributes to building an Islamic work culture, increasing motivation, discipline, cooperation, and loyalty of the institution's citizens. Thus, the character of the leader not only serves as the moral foundation of leadership, but also becomes a strategic foundation in shaping organizational behavior that is effective, professional, and oriented towards the values of worship and mutual benefit.

Abstract

Leadership is a key element in determining the direction, strategy, and success of an organization. In the context of Islamic organizations, leadership has a broader meaning because it focuses not only on the achievement of worldly goals, but also on the formation of spiritual and moral values rooted in Islamic teachings. Spiritual leadership is an approach to leadership that integrates the worldly aspect with divine values, where the leader acts as a director, guide, as well as an example for the members of the organization. Through the values of honesty, trust, wisdom, and compassion, spiritual leadership is able to form the character of an Islamic organization that has integrity and is oriented towards blessings. This study aims to describe the concept of spiritual leadership in building Islamic organizations with character based on a literature review of Islamic leadership theory and practice. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method. The results of the study show that spiritual leadership is a leadership model that combines worldly and spiritual dimensions. Spiritual leaders not only manage the organization administratively, but also instill faith, moral, and ethical values in every act of leadership.

Abstract

This study aims to examine in depth how the relationship between organizational structure, Islamic values, and leadership can shape organizational behavior in Islamic educational institutions. This study is motivated by the fact that many Islamic educational institutions are still struggling to balance professionalism in institutional management with the application of spiritual values. The research was conducted through a literature study method by examining various scientific sources such as books, journals, and previous research results. All data were then analyzed descriptively to find patterns of correlation and influence between the three elements in the context of Islamic education management. The results of the study show that organizational structure acts as a system that regulates the division of tasks and responsibilities, Islamic values become the moral foundation that guides behavior, while leadership acts as a driving force that unites the two so that they run in harmony. When these three elements are harmoniously intertwined, the organizational behavior that emerges is not only efficient but also reflects Islam through attitudes of trustworthiness, fairness, and responsibility. Thus, the balance between structure, values, and leadership becomes the main foundation in building an ethical, productive organizational culture that has spiritual strength in the Islamic education environment.
