Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) kemampuan literasi matematika peserta didik dengan penerapan pembelajaran probing-prompting berbasis etnomatematikamencapai ketuntasan belajar; (2) rata-rata kemampuan literasi matematika kelas eksperimen dan kontrol yang diajar dengan pembelajaran ekspositori; dan (3) peningkatan kemampuan literasi matematika kelas kontrol. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan nonequivalent control group design dan dilaksanakan di SD NU Nawa Kartika Kudus kelas IV semester genap tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes untuk mengukur kemampuan literasi matematika peserta didik. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini meliputi uji ketuntasan belajar, uji perbedaan rata-rata (uji t), dan uji gain untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan literasi matematika peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) kemampuan literasi matematika peserta didik dengan penerapan pembelajaran ini dapat mencapai ketuntasan belajar; (2) rata-rata kemampuan literasi matematika kelas eksperimenlebih baik dari rata-rata kelas kontrol yang diajar dengan pembelajaran ekspositori; dan (3) kemampuan literasi kelas eksperimen mengalami peningkatan sebesar 54% dengan kategori sedang.

Abstract

Mathematical disposition plays an important role in increasing student motivation in learning mathematics. High mathematical disposition has an impact on the good learning outcomes of mathematics. This study aims to test the increase in the mathematical disposition of students who take open-ended learning based on ethnomathematics and determine the effect of mathematical disposition on students' mathematical abilities. This quantitative research refers to a one-group pretest-posttest design. Data collection techniques in this study used non-test and test techniques. The instrument used was a questionnaire to measure students 'mathematical disposition and test questions to measure students' mathematical abilities. The data analysis technique used is the gain test and regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that the mathematical disposition of students who take ethnomathematics-based open-ended learning is increased by 47%, which means that it is included in the medium category and mathematical disposition affects students' mathematical abilities through the application of open-ended learning based on ethnomathematics by 57.9%. This means that open-ended learning based on ethnomathematics can improve students' mathematical disposition.

Abstract

Fun and non-monotonous learning, as well as the COVID-19 pandemic, make teachers /lecturers think about learning that can solve the problem. Mathematics learning using a blended learning model based on rotation model is an implication of technological development, and is expected to provide solutions to the above problems. Mixing learning between conventional or face-to-face learning and online learning is expected to improve students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

The lack of optimal mathematical critical thinking ability of students becomes a problem that will be discussed. This is due to the selection of learning models and approaches used in the teaching and learning process. Mathematical critical thinking is one of the skills needed to solve a problem. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of CORE learning models (Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, Extending) through the Open-Ended approach to students' mathematical critical thinking skills. By using core learning models (Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, Extending) through an Open-Ended approach students can solve problems without being limited with one solution only. It can provide opportunities for students to develop and analyze their ideas to solve the maslaah given so as to improve students' mathematical critical thinking skills. This study is a literature study on efforts to improve students' mathematical critical thinking skills using CORE learning models (Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, Extending) through an Open-Ended approach.

Abstract

AbstractTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah pembelajaran kooperatif tipe probing-prompting dengan penilaian produk dan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe probing-prompting materi keliling dan luas lingkaran dapat mencapai ketuntasan belajar dan lebih baik dari pembelajaran ekspositori pada peserta didik kelas VIII. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII MTs. Nurussalam Gebog Kudus tahun pelajaran 2011/2012. Dengan cara acak terpilih sampel yaitu peserta didik kelas VIIIA dan VIIIC sebagai kelas eksperimen 1 dan 2, serta VIIIB sebagai kelas kontrol. Diperoleh hasil penelitian bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik kelas eksperimen 1 sebesar 79,91, kelas eksperimen 2 sebesar 73,21, dan kelas kontrol sebesar 66,10. Dari hasil uji ketuntasan belajar diperoleh peserta didik kelas eksperimen mencapai ketuntasan belajar (individual dan klasikal). Dari hasil uji Anava nilai Sig.= 0,000 < 0,05 artinya ada perbedaan rata-rata, kemudian dilakukan uji lanjut Scheffe menunjukkan adanya perbedaan rata-rata yang signifikan antara masing-masing kelas. Simpulan yang diperoleh adalah pembelajaran kooperatif tipe probing-prompting yang disertai dengan penilaian produk dan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe probing-prompting materi keliling dan luas lingkaran dapat mencapai ketuntasan belajar, model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe probing-prompting dengan penilaian produk lebih baik dari pembelajaran kooperatif tipe probing-prompting, dan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe probing-prompting lebih baik dari pembelajaran ekspositori.The purpose of this study was to determine whether the cooperative learning of probing-prompting by assessing products of circle perimeter and circle area material could reach the completeness learning of students. The population of this study was the students of grade VIII MTs. Nurussalam Gebog Kudus year 2011/2012. Randomly, the selected samples were the students of VIIIA and VIIIC as the experiment classes 1 and 2, and the control class was VIIIB. The results showed that the learning outcome average of experiment class 1 was 79,91, experiment class 2 was 73.21, and 66.10 for the control class. From the result of the test was obtained that experiment class students achieved the learning completeness (individual and classical). From the test results of ANAVA Sig. value= 0.000 < 0.05 which was meant that there were differences in the average, then Scheffe test was done and showed the significant difference average between classes. The conclusions obtained were the cooperative learning of probing-prompting type by assessing products and the cooperative learning of probing-prompting type of circle perimeter and circle area materials could reach the completeness learning; the cooperative learning model of probing-prompting type by assessing products was better than the cooperative learning of probing-prompting type; and the cooperative learning of probing-prompting type was better than expository learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze (1) the average mathematical problem solving ability of students who can achieve the KKM, (2) the proportion of students who can complete classical completeness of 75%, (3) differences in students' mathematical problem solving abilities before and after the REACT model assisted by fable-math book media is applied, (4) increasing mathematical problem solving abilities. The research method used is quantitative research with a pre-experimental design trial design in the form of one group pretest posttest. Sampling was done by means of purposive sample. The sample in this study were IV grade students in academic year 2019/2020. Collecting data using interview techniques, documentation, and tests. The data that has been collected is then analyzed using statistical analysis in the form of one sample t-test, z-proportion test, paired sample t-test, and n-gain test. After applying the REACT model assisted by the fable-math book media the results of the study showed that the average score of the student's problem-solving ability test got more than 70, the proportion of students who completed the test could achieve classical completeness above 75%, there were significant differences in the pretest and posttest results, and there is an increase in students' mathematical problem solving abilities with the medium category.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring pada masa pandemi Covid-19 ini menemui banyak kendala. Guru SD 3 Peganjaran belum memanfaatkan aplikasi penilaian secara daring karena belum mampu beradaptasi dengan kondisi yang ada. Guru juga tidak memiliki pengetahuan untuk membuat penilaian secara daring. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah: (1) memberikan pelatihan pemanfaatan aplikasi untuk penilaian pembelajaran secara daring; dan (2) memberikan pendampingan pemanfaatan aplikasi untuk penilaian pembelajaran secara daring bagi guru SD 3 Peganjaran. Metode dalam pengabdian ini menggunakan pendekatan participant active learning (peserta berpartisipasi secara aktif dalam kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan pembuatan instrumen penilaian daring). Setelah kegiatan ini, guru – guru SD 3 Peganjaran memperoleh: 1) pengetahuan tentang penilaian pembelajaran secara daring dengan aplikasi; dan 2) pembuatan instrumen penilaian pembelajaran secara daring dengan aplikasi. Luaran kegiatan ini yaitu berupa beberapa instrumen penilaian pembelajaran daring yang telah dikembangkan oleh guru SD 3 Peganjaran.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of Problem Based Learning (PBL) assisted by QR code on students’ mathematical problem solving ability. This experimental research was carried out on students of the Elementary School Teacher Education Study ProgramUniversitas Muria Kudus in the mathematical concept course in the academic year of 2016/2017. The ability to solve mathematical problems is measured by tests. Data analysis techniques used include t-test and proportion test. The results of this study are: 1) the mathematical problem solving ability of students who learn through PBL assisted by QR code is better than the mathematical problem solving ability of students who learn through Direct Instruction learning; 2) the mathematical problem solving ability of students who are taught with PBL assisted by QR code have reached the minimum completeness criteria (MCC) and 3) the proportion of students taught with PBL assisted by QR code that has reached the MCC is better than the proportion of students studying through Direct Instruction learning that have met the minimum completeness criteria (MCC). Thus, the lecturer can develop PBL assisted by QR code to create interesting learning so that students are enthusiastic about the learning, which will have a positive effect on their mathematical problem solving ability.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the improvement of problem-solving abilities, student learning activities, and teacher teaching skills in Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model assisted by questions card drawers on perimeter and area materials. This classroom action research was conducted at SD 6 Jekulo with 35 students as research subjects. The study was conducted through 2 cycles, consisting of three meetings. Each cycle there are 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The independent variable in this study is the TGT model aided by the question card drawer, while the dependent variable is the mathematical problem-solving ability, student learning activities, and teacher teaching skills. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, tests, and documentation. Analysis of the data used in the analysis of qualitative and quantitative data. The results showed in the first cycle mathematical problem-solving ability has not been able to achieve success indicators with a percentage of completeness of 54.29%, then increased in the second cycle with a percentage of completeness of 77.14% to achieve an indicator of success. In cycle I student activities still need guidance with a value of 60.5 then increase in cycle II with a value of 84 is enough. The skills of the teacher got a good predicate in the first cycle with the achievement of achieving 81.43% and increased to very good in the second cycle with the achievement of 87.85% success.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the average mathematical creative thinking ability of students who received learning with the Treffinger model assisted by Geoboard media compared to students who received learning with expository models, examining the difference in the average technical thinking ability of fourth-graders before and after the implementation of the Treffinger model with the help of Geoboard media, examining the creative thinking skills of students who received learning with the Treffinger model with the help of Geoboard media has reached KKM. Experimental Quasi research with pre-test post-test control group design is carried out in class IV. Analyze data using independent samples t-test, paired sample t-test, and one-sample t-test. The results showed (1) The average mathematical creative thinking ability of students who followed learning using the Treffinger learning model assisted by Geoboard media was better than the mathematical creative thinking skills of students who followed learning using expository learning models. (2) There is an average difference in the mathematical creative thinking ability of grade IV students before and after the use of Treffinger learning models assisted by Geoboard media on roving materials and flat build area.
