Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explain the sufism thoughts of Sheikh Nawawi al-Jawi in the book marăqil 'ubūdiyah. This type of research is library research. The uniqueness of his sufism thought is related to three fundamental things, namely: first, a sălik when he first enters the world of tasawuf he must strengthen his shari'ah teachings, because according to sheikh Nawai shari'a are some of God's laws ordered by the Messenger to mankind originating from God in the form of obligatory laws, sunnah, haram, makruh and mubah; second, sălik carry out various obligations, traditions, leave various prohibitions, stay away from excessive things that are permissible, carry out caution such as: wara', riyadhah in the form of literacy, hunger and silence; third, understanding the essence of everything, such as witnessing Allah's names (names), Allah's attributes, witnessing the Essence and secrets of the Qur'an, the secrets of prohibition, permissibility, and some unseen knowledge that cannot be obtained from a person. teacher, but the knowledge is understood from God. In the end, it is hoped that this article will provide readers with a deeper understanding of Sheikh Nawawi sl-Jawi's taswuf thoughts which combine sharia, tariqat and the essence of Islam.

Abstract

The problems discussed in this research are how the existence and function of mosque in supporting da‟wah activities in Industrial Revolution 4.0 are. This research is a library study focusing on discussion about mosque as an Islamic da‟wah institution in supporting da‟wah activities in Industrial Revolution 4.0 era. The primary data covers scientific works about mosque as a da‟wah institution, while the secondary data covers various works about mosque, da‟wah, and Industrial Revolution. Qualitative approach is used in this study. The collected data is analyzed using content analysis method by reducing, displaying, and verifying the data. The result of this study finds that the existence and function of mosque is increasingly needed by Muslims community in Industrial Revolution 4.0 era. Mosque for Muslims is likened as water for fish. Muslims cannot “live” without “existence” of mosque. However, mosque is now like poisoned water, which led to da‟wah crisis befalling Muslims community these days. Muslims community is responsible to elevate mosque to the higher position since the challenge of this era is extremely heavy. One of the ways is utilizing the technology, especially information technology. It can be implemented by giving training activities, such as computer, internet, or other social media training, for mosque caretaker for the sake of the mosque and da‟wah activities.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative study aimed at analyzing the implementation of the hidden curriculum at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah NU Buaran Pekalongan and identifying the obstacles encountered. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation review. Data analysis was conducted using the interactive analysis model developed by Miles and Huberman. The results of the study indicate that three curricula are applied at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah NU Buaran Pekalongan, namely: 1) the national curriculum, 2) the Ministry of Religious Affairs curriculum, and 3) the pesantren curriculum. The pesantren curriculum, which is a hidden curriculum, is implemented in the takhassus classes at this madrasah. Takhassus classes offer learning programs that include Qur'an memorization (tahfidzul Qur'an), enjoyable language learning (language fun), basic study of classical Islamic texts (kitab kuning), TPQ (Qur'an learning for children), and outing class activities. Obstacles in Qur'an memorization, enjoyable language learning, basic study of classical Islamic texts, TPQ, and outing class activities are addressed with temporary (short-term) and permanent (long-term) solutions. Short-term solutions are applied to Qur'an memorization, basic study of classical Islamic texts, and outing class activities, while long-term solutions are applied to enjoyable language learning and TPQ. These solutions aim to preserve the traditions at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah NU Buaran Pekalongan through a hidden curriculum that continues to be maintained.

Abstract

The aim of writing this work is to try to describe and analyze the concept of Islamic education curriculum management. In literature review research on Islamic education curriculum management, the first step is to identify relevant theoretical sources, including books, journal articles and official documents. Data sources include scientific literature, documents related to management, as well as interviews with Islamic education experts and management practitioners. Data collection techniques include online literature searches, document studies, and interviews, while data analysis can be carried out qualitatively or descriptively. The result of this work is that the curriculum as a plan for all activities that support the achievement of educational goals still has an important role, at least in coloring the personality of students. Starting from covering educational curriculum management which plays a role, especially in Islamic education curriculum management. Islamic curriculum management plays a very important role in determining the success or failure of implementation and whether the curriculum is good or bad, which will influence educational outcomes. Curriculum management is related to planning, implementation, and evaluation or control of the curriculum. If you can see it as a whole, educators (teachers) will be able to understand to what extent the curriculum is able to build critical awareness of students or even not at all. Therefore, it is very necessary to understand the management of the Islamic education curriculum textually and contextually so that educators can apply the curriculum in learning, especially in learning Islamic Religious Education in educational institutions.

Abstract

The aim of writing this journal is to improve the management of facilities and infrastructure in optimizing the teaching and learning process in Islamic religious education. The method used is descriptive analysis using various literature sources and articles as material for analyzing research problems. The result of this work is that management of educational facilities and infrastructure is a vital process that supports successful learning by maximizing the function of each school facility to achieve educational goals efficiently. This process is regulated through the principles of goal achievement, efficiency, administration and clarity of responsibility. The management stages include planning, procurement, distribution, inventory, maintenance, storage and deletion, all of which aim to maintain the quality and availability of facilities and infrastructure. The principal plays a key role in implementing these management principles effectively, supported by the deputy principal, staff, teachers and students in the management process. Teachers participate in planning needs, utilizing and maintaining infrastructure to improve the quality of learning. Collaboration and coordination between all related parties in schools is an important factor in effective management of facilities and infrastructure. With good management, educational facilities and infrastructure can be maintained and utilized optimally. This directly contributes to creating a conducive learning environment and improving the quality of education.

Abstract

Organisation is a fundamental necessity for humanity, helping individuals to achieve shared objectives in various areas, including education. Management serves as an important tool in ensuring that organisations operate effectively and productively. This research discusses the organisation of education from the perspective of the Qur’an, emphasising the significance of a clear structure and division of tasks, as well as adaptability to change. The Qur’an, through the concept of "at-tanzhim," underscores orderliness and regulation in the organisation of education. This study employs a qualitative approach, specifically a literature review methodology, collecting data from exegesis texts and relevant references, and analysing it to draw conclusions. The results indicate that the organisation of Islamic education not only focuses on academic achievements but also on character development. Principles such as trust, justice, and consultation are essential in creating an inclusive and fair educational environment. The implementation of Islamic values in education can shape students' character and optimise the resources available. Thus, educational institutions are expected to respond effectively to existing challenges while remaining steadfast in adhering to Islamic principles.

Abstract

This research explains the role of the Head of Madrasah Tsanawiyah in the former Pekalongan Residence in implementing educational marketing management based on Total Quality Management in Education, the strategies used in implementing educational marketing management, and the impact on the madrasah regarding the implementation of educational marketing management. The research location is Madrasah Tsananwiyah in the former Pekalongan Residence, Central Java. The primary data is in the form of an educational marketing management model at Madrasah Tsanawiyah. Meanwhile, the secondary data is a theoretical basis obtained through reviewing literature regarding educational marketing management. This research is categorized as field research using a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques include in-depth interviews, observation, documentation and triangulation. The collected data was analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana analysis model. The results of the research show that the role of the Head of the Pekalongan Ex-Residency Madrasah Tsanawiyah in implementing educational marketing management according to the TQM in Education perspective includes the managerial role, the role of work program executor, and the role of users of educational marketing facilities and infrastructure. Meanwhile, the strategies used are the Market-Based Management Strategy Model and the Resource-Based Strategy Model. The impacts caused by the implementation of educational marketing management include the fulfillment of planned education quotas, the establishment of cooperation between internal and external parties of the madrasah, and the creation of a positive image of the madrasah in society.

Abstract

Pengawasan terkait pendidikan Islam menjadi sebab kunci untuk mengembangkan kualitas pendidikan di masa modern seperti sekarang yang penuh tantangan. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menggali konsep, prinsip, dan pentingnya pengawasan pendidikan Islam serta perannya dalam meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran. Penurunan minat terhadap mata pelajaran agama dan perubahan sosial yang memengaruhi pendidikan Islam di Indonesia menjadi latar belakang utama kajian ini. Artikel ini mengunakan metode penelitian kepustakaan. Penelitian ini menujukan hasil bahwa pengawasan dalam pendidikan Islam tidak hanya bersifat materiil, tetapi juga bersifat spiritual. Supervisi efektif harus melibatkan pembinaan, evaluasi, dan perencanaan yang matang serta berpedoman pada prinsip-prinsip ilmiah, kooperatif, dan manusiawi. Pengawasan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan mutu pengajaran, mendukung profesionalisme guru, dan memastikan relevansi pendidikan dengan tuntutan global. Evaluasi program pengawasan dilakukan untuk memastikan tercapainya tujuan pendidikan, mencegah penyimpangan, dan sebagai dasar perbaikan di masa depan. Kesimpulannya, pengawasan yang baik akan mampu menjawab tantangan dalam mengembangkan kualitas pendidikan Islam sesuai dengan  kebutuhan zaman.

Abstract

Budaya organisasi memainkan peran yang sangat strategis dalam membentuk karakter, lingkungan, dan atmosfer pendidikan di sekolah. Dalam konteks pendidikan agama Islam, penerapan budaya organisasi berbasis nilai-nilai Islam menjadi salah satu elemen kunci dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran yang efektif dan berorientasi pada penguatan karakter peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran budaya organisasi dalam mendukung pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di SD IT Asyibyan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi langsung, dan analisis dokumen yang relevan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ditemukan bahwa budaya organisasi yang berlandaskan nilai-nilai agama Islam, seperti kejujuran, tanggung jawab, kerja sama, dan disiplin, mampu menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif. Budaya ini mendorong sinergi antara guru, siswa, dan tenaga kependidikan dalam mengoptimalkan pembelajaran PAI. Implementasi budaya tersebut tidak hanya meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi agama, tetapi juga membentuk karakter islami yang kuat. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan penting bagi pengembangan model pembelajaran berbasis nilai yang dapat diterapkan secara berkelanjutan di institusi pendidikan berbasis Islam.

Abstract

Islamic boarding school institutions have long been active in educating the Indonesian nation. This work is not only in the religious field, but also in the educational field. The discussion was about the important role of Islamic boarding school institutions in improving education in Indonesia. This research aims to find out about the history of Islamic boarding school education, the role of Islamic boarding schools in educating the nation, the contribution of Islamic boarding schools in improving the quality of education in Indonesia, and the weaknesses of Islamic boarding schools in the advancement of science. This research uses qualitative methods by relying on library research, namely collecting data from books, articles and other sources relevant to the research topic. The results of this research are that Islamic boarding schools have an important and strategic role in improving the quality of education in Indonesia. The role of Islamic boarding schools is not only in the aspect of religious education, but also in the aspect of general education and developing national character.
