Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the effect of relaxation with dzikir to improve the subjective well-being of adolescent students at muslim school. The adolescent students at muslim school shall be referred to as adolescent santri. This study was an experimental research with randomized pretest-posttest control group design. Quantitative analysis test was performed using SPSS for windows 16.0 while observation and interview technique was used to get additional data. The subjects of this study were students at muslim school of 12-16 years old. In the study group consisted of experimental and control groups. The experimental group received relaxation with dzikir training for four meetings with the duration of each meeting 1-2 hours. The scale of subjective well-being is adapted from the SWLS scale (satisfaction with life scale) developed by Diener, Emmons, Larsen, and Griffin (1985), and the positive and negative affect schedule from Watson, Clark, and Tellegen (1988). Data were analyzed using t-test based on gain score. The results showed that there was a significant difference in subjective well-being between experiment and control group Sig (p) = 0.001 (p <0.01). The conclusions showed that the level of subjective well-being of the adolescent have increased after being given the intervension of relaxation with dzikir. These results are also supported by observational and interview data that indicated that in general the participants in the intervention reported perceived change after the training, such as the feeling of feel restful, more comfortable, relieved, confident, eager, and more grateful to God’s favor. Abstract

Disasters may affect the quality of life of survivors, including children. Therefore, interventions that may improve survivors' quality of life is needed. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of drawing therapy in improving the quality of life of children survivors of landslides in Purworejo, Central Java, Indonesia. This study used a quasi-experimental design with one group pretest - posttest. The subjects were five children aged 8 to 11 years who experienced a landslide disaster, and had low or moderate quality of life based on WHOQOL-BREF scale categorization. The experimental group was treated using therapeutic techniques that facilitated the subject to externalize their traumatic experiences through creative actions that reflected their feelings and thoughts. Therapy was done through three stages of warm up, mindfulness, and drawing. The results of the Friedman Test analysis show the differences in the quality of life scores in all domains before and after the intervention was given. Qualitative data that was taken as complimentary to the quantitative part also showed a description of improved behavior, attitudes, and social interactions among the children. It is concluded that drawing therapy can improve the quality of life of the children survivors of a landslide disaster.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji apakah pelatihan pengasuhan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman tentang GPP/H dan pengasuhan yang berkualitas pada orang tua anak prasekolah yang memiliki anak dengan GPP/H. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan quasi eksperimental dengan desain nonrandomized pretest-posttest control group design. Subjek padapenelitianini berjumlah 6 orang yang merupakan pasangan orang tua (ayah dan ibu) anak prasekolah yang memiliki anak dengan GPP/H. Tempat penelitian dilakukan di KB-TK-TPA Jogja Citra, Pleret, Bantul. Dianalisis dengan uji statistik Wilcoxon Mann Whitney dan Kruskal Wallis.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan pengasuhan terbukti dapat meningkatkan pemahaman orang tua tentang GPP/H dan meningkatkan kualitas pengasuhan orang tua kepada anak prasekolah dengan GPP/H. Hasil pengolahan data menunjukkan taraf signifikansi 0,039 < 0,05 untuk pemahaman tentang GPP/H, dan 0,039 < 0,05 untuk pengasuhan yang berkualitas. Uji hipotesis dengan Kruskal Wallis menunjukkan taraf signifikansi sebsar 0,020 < 0,05.

Abstract

AbstractFlourishing is a combination of feeling good and functioning effectively. Flourishing includes not only cognitive, and affective aspects, but also behavior directed at productive actions. Then, it is known that the flourishing condition in a person is influenced by several factors namely; perceived stress, social support, and coping strategies. This study aims to discuss research findings related to the role of perceived stress, social support, and coping strategies on flourishing. Several research articles were obtained through an online search system of electronic research articles, namely PubMed, Google Scholar, and Science Direct. The keywords used in the search are perceived stress, stress, social support, coping style, coping strategy, and flourishing. A total of 13 articles were reviewed through filtering based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. The findings show that perceived stress, social support, and coping strategies have an important role in shaping flourishing conditions. Furthermore, the various instruments used in various articles vary greatly according to the researchers' concepts and approaches in looking at each variable.Keywords: perceived stress, social support, coping strategies, and flourishing

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk-bentuk dari indera keenam dan strategi koping pada orang yang memiliki indera keenam yang berhubungan dengan permasalahan dari indera keenam yang dimilikinya dan masalah yang berhubungan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Subjek yang menjadi informan berjumlah satu orang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode  kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan observasi  Dalam menganalisis data dari hasil wawancara menggunakan analisis isi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa bentuk-bentuk dari indera keenam yang dimiliki oleh informan adalah clairvoyance, clairaudience dan psikokinesis. Strategi koping  yang digunakan oleh informan adalah seeking social support, positive reappraisal dan planful problem solving serta dibantu dengan kemampuan indera keenam yang dimilikinya. Pada permasalahan yang muncul dari bentuk indera keenam yang dimilikinya strategi koping yang digunakan yaitu seeking social support dan positive reappraisal sedangkan pada permasalahan sehari-hari menggunakan strategi koping planful problem solving. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah bentuk-bentuk dari indera keenam yang dimiliki oleh informan adalah clairvoyance, clairaudience dan psikokinesis. Strategi koping yang digunakan untuk masalah secara internal, dalam hal ini masalah dengan indera keenam yang dimilikinya, informan cenderung menggunakan emotional focused coping. Pada masalah eksternal atau masalah yang berhubungan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari, informan cenderung menggunakan problem focused coping dalam menghadapi masalah.Kata Kunci : indra keenam, strategi koping

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is chronic disease that needs the complex and a long term medical treatment. Patient adherence and level of distress can affect patient quality of life. The purposes of this study is to examine patients adherence, distress, and quality of life patients type 2 diabetes mellitus in Kabupaten Pati. This study used cross sectional design and data patients collection techniques were conducted prospective data. The subjects of research were patients with Type 2 diabetes amounted to 126 people. Instruments used in this research is Medication Adherence Respon Scale (MARS) questionnaire to measure patients adherence, Diabetes Distress Scale (DDS) to measure distress, and EQ-5D-5L questionnaire to measure quality of life. Data analysis statistic used Mann Whiney test, and linier regression. This study was dominated by female patients 78.6%. The mean age of DMT2 patients was 54.49 ± 6.19 years. The average value of adherence (MARS) was 21.33 ± 2.90 including in moderate adherence. The mean total of DDS score was 1,56±0,42 including not distress level and the highest is the emotional burden domain. The mean value of EQ5D5L index was 0.729 ± 0.161. The results showed a significant association (p <0.05) between patient characteristics age and duration of sick with adherence. There were significant association (p <0.05) between age to physician distress, gender with emotional, marital status with emotional and interpersonal distress, duration of sick to physician distress and management therapy distress. Marital status and income had significant relationship to quality of life. Emotional burden domain had significant relationship to quality of life. Multivariate analysis showed that the relationship of adherence and distress by the emotional burden to quality of life. This study concluded the significant relationship between adherence, distress and quality of life.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of gratitude training to improve the quality of life in women with physical disabilities. Participans of this study were 30 participants, there are 15 participants in each group. The data were analyzed using mixed design anova.The result showed a very significant difference in quality of life’s score at pretest, posttest, and follow up between the experimental and controlled group (F=56,586, p=0,000 (p<0,05)).In addition, there was significant changes in quality of life’s score at experimental group (MD=-15,467 and p=0,000.Those findings indicate that there was increase in the level quality of life in the experimental group.Furthermore,gratitude training contributed 84,3% to the increase quality of life.of women with physical disabilities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimanakah stress pada penyintas  yang mengalami cacat fisik. Subyek penelitian ini adalah dua penyintas gempa yang mengalamicacat fisik. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif, yakni menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologis dengan thematic analysis. Sebagai pelengkap, data diuji lagi dengan triangulasi melalui FGD dengan kelompok penderita cacat.  FGD dilakukan 1 kali dengan 7 responden. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara, observasi dan FGD ditemukan beberapa stresor yang sekarang dihadapi penyandang cacat adalah: a) masalah fisik, antara lain badan masih sakit dan nyeri; b) masalah psikologis, seperti sedih, jengkel; c) mobilitas yang terganggu akibat kecacatannya; d) masalah pekerjaan, yakni terputusnya subyek dengan pekerjaan sebelumnya; dan e) kurangnya modal untuk kelanjutan hidup mereka.

Abstract

Banyak faktor yang menyebabkan siswa mengalami gangguan kesulitan belajar. Salah satunya yaitu gangguan psikologis ringan. Selama ini masalah gangguan kesulitan belajar siswa di Gugus II Girikerto ini belum ditangani dengan maksimal. Hal ini dikarenakan pengetahuan guru di Gugus II Girikerto dalam mengidentifikasi gangguan kesulitan belajar siswa dan merencanakan bentuk intervensi masih relatif minim.  Program pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan guru dalam mengidentifikasi gangguan kesulitan belajar, gangguan psikologis ringan, serta merencanakan program intervensinya.  Metode yang dilaksanakan dengan pelatihan yang bersifat problem based learning dengan mengangkat masalah kontekstual. Hasil pelatihan antara lain: pertama, hasil rerata angket self evaluation sebesar 67,55. Sebanyak 21 (66%) guru memiliki kemampuan mengatasi kesulitan belajar siswa di atas rerata, dan sisanya 11 (34%) guru memiliki kemampuan mengatasi kesulitan belajar siswa di bawah rerata. Kedua, guru mampu mengidentifikasi ganggun psikologis ringan melalui panduan skrining gejala gangguan psikologis. Ketiga, guru mampu merancang bentuk intervensi gangguan kesulitan belajar melalui metode token economy. Secara umum dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan ini mampu meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru di Gugus II Girikerto mengenai intervensi gangguan kesulitan belajar yang disebabkan oleh gangguan psikologis ringan pada siswa SD.
