Abstract

that can improve performance. And can make a full contribution in helping companies to improve service quality. This study aims to examine work safety, work supervision, and work discipline of employees who conduct case studies on employees at PT. Bali Ocean Magic (Waterbom) Kuta, Bali. determine the sample using certain considerations. The number of respondents used in this study were 65 people. The results of the study stated that Health and Safety had a positive effect on employee performance with a value of = 0.022 < (0.05). This shows that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. Work supervision has a positive effect on employee performance with a value of = 0.020 < (0.05). This shows that H2 is accepted and H0 is rejected. The results of the t-statistical test also state that Work Supervision (X2) has a partial effect on Employee Performance (Y) at PT. Bali Ocean Magic (Waterbom) Kuta. Work discipline has a positive effect on employee performance with a value of = 0.020 < (0.05). This shows that H3 is accepted and H0 is rejected. The results of the t-statistical test also state that Work Discipline (X3) has a partial effect on Employee Performance (Y) at PT. Bali Ocean Magic (Waterbom) Kuta. The analytical technique used in this research is descriptive analysis using SPSS 22.00 application software. In this study, respondents' answers were classified in the form of answers using an interval scale with the Likert scale method.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: i) kondisi terkini Desa Wanagiri Kauh, Kecamatan Selemadeg, Kabupaten Tabanan Bali, ii) potensi wisata yang dapat dikembangkan dan iii) mengkaji kedala utama yang dihadapi dan upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk dapat mengembangkan potensi wisata berdasarkan Sapta Pesona. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif, yang mengandalkan observasi dan wawancara dalam pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: i) Desa Wanagiri Kauh merupakan desa agraris dengan potensi wisata yang belum berkembang, ii) potensi wisata yang dapat dikembangkan antara lain, wisata alam dan wisata budaya iii)kendala utama yang dihadapi adalah lemahnya wawasan masyarakat desa terhadap pariwisata, sehingga dibutuhkan kegiatan sosialisasi dan pelatihan pariwisata. Sapta Pesona sudah tercermin dalam kehidupan masyarakat desa, hanya unsur kenangan yang belum ada, meskipun banyak potensi yang dapat dikembangkan

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors considered by tourists to visit Kayumanis Seaside Restaurant and Bistro in Sanur-Bali. The basic method used in this research is descriptive analysis method. Sampling with purposive sampling method with the number of respondents 110 people. The types and sources of data used consist of primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques by observation, interviews, and recording. Analysis of the data used is factor analysis. Factor analysis aims to find new variables called factors that have fewer numbers than the original variables. Factor analysis resulted in a total variance value of 84.943%. The results showed that of the 22 variables analyzed were divided into 5 core factors. These factors are Existence factor (37.364%), Promotion factor (19.631%), Service factor (15.422%), environmental factor (6.931%), and price factor (5.596%). Suggestions that can be formulated based on the results of the study are: the company is expected to increase its attention to the variables that are considered by consumers in Visiting Kayumanis Seaside Restaurant And Bistro Sanur-Bali. Researchers only used 22 independent variables, of course there are still many variables that must be observed further to get answers about the factors considered by tourists to visit Kayumanis Seaside Restaurant And Bistro Sanur- Bali. The company is expected to be able to establish relationships with local communities, such as tour guides, in order to be able to increase visits in the future

Abstract

Community Service Activities (PkM) through KKN activities in Cemagi Village in 2023 are further KKN activities, based on Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Triatma Mulya University and Cemagi Village for 3 years, so that this Thematic KKN activity can be carried out sustainably in Cemagi Village. KKN activities of the Faculty of Business and Tourism, Triatma Mulya University were held for 5 (five) weeks in Cemagi Tourism Village which took place from January 16 to February 17, 2023. This service article analyzes the empowerment of village communities in developing tourism and the creative economy in Cemagi Tourism Village, Badung Regency. This research began with the 2023 Thematic Real Work Lecture (KKN) activities held in Cemagi Village. The implementation of KKN activities is carried out through several stages, namely the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation stages. The Thematic KKN Team of the Faculty of Business and Tourism, Triatma Mulya University provided socialization related to tourism awareness and financial literacy education. The details of the KKN work program that have been implemented in Cemagi Village are clean-up actions at Mengening Beach, cooking classes, promotional videos, financial literacy education, making and installing welcome billboards in Cemagi Village, teaching English and basic mathematics to kindergarten children, socializing waste sorting, and quiz competitions. A pre-planned work program can be completed in a timely manner.

Abstract

The socialization and training activities carried out in the implementation of Community Service at the Faculty of Business and Tourism, Triatma Mulya University in Tangkup village, Sidemen District, Karangasem are a continuation of the KKN program in the previous period. This activity involves lecturers who have competence in the field of training provided. During the activity, all participants were present for the 2 days of the activity. The participants, in this case members of the Tangkup village youth organization, were very enthusiastic in participating in the training activities. This is certainly very encouraging considering that the participants will be prepared to manage tourism potential in their own villages. It is hoped that in the future, through this training, Karang Taruna members will be able to optimally develop their tourism potential so that Tangkup Village can develop as one of the tourist villages in Bali.

Abstract

Human resource management is an integral part of organizational management, specifically focusing on various aspects related to human resources. Organizational commitment refers to the degree to which an employee demonstrates a strong tendency to maintain a long-term relationship with the organization. Job satisfaction refers to the extent to which individuals express positive and negative feelings toward their occupation, including factors such as level of challenge and use of skills, as well as like the presence or absence of monotony in their work. Work environment includes the tangible, interpersonal, and psychological aspects of an organization that impact the performance and effectiveness of that organization's workforce. This study was conducted at the Grand Puri Saron Hotel Yogyakarta, a leading accommodation facility located in the Malioboro area of Sosrowijayan, Yogyakarta. The objective of this study is to determine the significant and dominant impact of the independent variable on the dependent variable. The study included 26 employees and used a saturation point sampling technique. The data analysis technique used in this study involved the use of multiple linear regression analysis, supported by IBM Statistic SPSS software. The results of this study indicate that there is no statistically significant relationship between the Work Environment variable and the Organizational Commitment variable. The variable Organizational Commitment is significantly and positively affected by Job Satisfaction, in which Job Satisfaction has the main effect

Abstract

ABSTRAKKerajinan Tedung adalah payung tradisional Bali yang memiliki nilai budaya tinggi, namun para pengrajinnya menghadapi tantangan besar dalam memenuhi tuntutan pasar modern. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan perilaku inovatif dan keberlanjutan ekonomi pengrajin Tedung di Desa Mengwi, Badung, Bali, yang melibatkan 27 pengrajin. Program ini menggunakan pendekatan tiga tahap: evaluasi awal melalui pre-test untuk mengukur kemampuan inovatif saat ini, pelatihan peningkatan kapasitas, dan evaluasi akhir melalui post-test. Hasil pre-test menunjukkan bahwa pengrajin mengalami keterbatasan dalam variasi desain, proses produksi, dan strategi pemasaran yang menghambat jangkauan pasar. Setelah pelatihan, terdapat peningkatan signifikan dalam perilaku kerja inovatif pengrajin, dengan peningkatan kemampuan untuk menciptakan dan mempromosikan desain baru, metode produksi lebih cepat, dan strategi pemasaran yang lebih efektif, terutama melalui platform digital. Diversifikasi produk meningkat dan memperluas jangkauan pasar secara lokal maupun internasional, yang berkontribusi pada peningkatan prospek ekonomi. Program ini tidak hanya memberikan manfaat ekonomi bagi pengrajin, tetapi juga melestarikan dan mengembangkan kerajinan Tedung sebagai warisan budaya Bali di pasar yang semakin kompetitif. Pendekatan partisipatif ini menjadi model potensial untuk revitalisasi kerajinan tradisional di daerah lain. Kata kunci: inovasi; pekerjaan; perilaku; masyarakat; pelayanan. ABSTRACTTedung, a traditional ceremonial umbrella, holds significant cultural value in Bali, yet its craftsmen face difficulties in adapting to modern market demands. This challenge in innovative work behavior was addressed through a structured community service program designed to foster creativity, problem-solving, and contemporary business practices. The program targeted Tedung craftsmen in Desa Mengwi, Badung, Bali, involving 27 craftsmen as partners. The primary goal was to empower these craftsmen by enhancing their engagement with innovative practices, including new design creation, improved production processes, and effective marketing strategies. The implementation method comprised three phases: an initial assessment (pre-test) to identify gaps in innovation, capacity-building workshops, and a final evaluation (post-test). The pre-test highlighted limitations in product diversification and market reach, which the workshops aimed to address. Post-test evaluations revealed significant improvements, with craftsmen displaying enhanced abilities to innovate, market their products, and expand their market locally and internationally. Product diversification and digital marketing were notably impactful, broadening the craftsmen's economic prospects while preserving the Tedung tradition. This participatory approach empowered the craftsmen, reinforcing the cultural heritage of Bali and serving as a model for revitalizing traditional crafts in other regions. Keywords: innovation; work; behavior; community; service.

Abstract

In the world of hospitality there are many things that can affect the development of the business. One of them is how and the hotel's efforts can attract the attention of consumers and make consumers feel at home with the hotel's services. There are factors that affect customer satisfaction, namely facilities and service quality. In business competition, service becomes the most important thing for companies to differentiate when companies sell the same products as competitors. In order to obtain superior standards in the existing competition, each company must create satisfaction for its consumers in a way that is relevant to the services offered to consumers. Customer satisfaction can be obtained through the facilities and quality of service provided so that consumers can feel comfortable and can feel the expected utility as well as what is done by the Harris Riverview Kuta Bali Hotel. The formulation of the problem in this study is: 1) Is there an influence between facilities on the loyalty of tourists staying at Harris Riverview Hotel Kuta – Bali. 2). Is there any influence between the quality of service on the loyalty of tourists staying at Harris Riverview Kuta-Bali Hotel? 3). How much influence do facilities and service quality have on tourists staying at Harris Riverview Kuta-Bali Hotel?. Based on the results of the analysis obtained shows that 1). There is a positive and significant influence between facilities on the loyalty of tourists staying at Harris Riverview Kuta Hotel – Bali with a regression coefficient value of 0.421 and t test results with a calculated value of 5.774 greater than the ttable value of 1.666, with a value (sig.) of 0.000 smaller than .2). There is a positive and significant influence between the quality of service on the loyalty of tourists staying at Harris Riverview Kuta Hotel - Bali with a regression coefficient value of 0.231 and the t-test results with a calculated value of 3.203 greater than ttable of 1,666 with a value (sig.) of 0.002 smaller than .3). The contribution of the magnitude of the influence between facilities and service quality on the loyalty of tourists staying at Harris Riverview Kuta Hotel - Bali was 57.8% while the remaining 42.2% was influenced by other variables that were not. Abstract

This research simulates the use of Grammarly as one tool of an online assessment in identifying grammatical and mechanical errors of hospitality students' essays in writing English. The result analysis shows that Grammarly is used to assess the students' writing both grammatical and mechanical errors. From Grammarly report, it represents the quality of writing. Grammarly is an online proofreading service that checks for students' grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors. Grammarly automatically verifies or detects the work typed based on a variety of factors and reveals a variety of student writing errors, both in terms of grammatical and mechanical. This finding suggests that lecturer can use Grammarly as online automated software to implement corrective evaluation of Hospitality Students' writing. This research is descriptive qualitative research. Researchers classify the the issues in grammarly: (a) Correctness (b) Clarity, (c) Engagement, (d) Delivery, the data taken only for the female hospitality students. Based on results and discussion total Correctness 373, Clarity 8, Engagement 7, Delivery 2. Conslusion for this research, female hospitality students are having more errors in Correctness which is includes Improves spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Abstract

Cultural Tourism Attractions are spread throughout Indonesia, including on the island of Lombok. These tourist attractions contain religious and cultural values which are reflected in the activities of the local community. We must preserve these religious and cultural values in the midst of globalization. Balinese culture, which breathes Hinduism, which has become a tourist attraction, has also been carried over to West Nusa Tenggara Province, especially on the island of Lombok, since ancient times. This form of culture, in the form of the Ngusaba Gumang Ceremony, is considered necessary to be preserved for the sake of realizing sustainable tourism. The location of the ceremony is located in Golong Village, which is quite close to the tourist destinations of Narmada Park, Suranadi Temple, and the famous Golong Golf Course in West Nusa Tenggara but not yet known to tourists. Based on the stages of development, the Ngusaba Gumang ceremony as a cultural tourism attraction is at the Exploration stage. This stage is characterized by limited and sporadic visits from adventurous people. There was intensivecontact with local residents and using facilities owned by residents with very little social and economic impact. Data analysis techniques used in this study include: Qualitative Descriptive Methods and SWOT analysis. From the results of the SWOT analysis above, it can be concluded that the Ngusaba Gumang Ceremony has the potential to continue to be developed as a leading cultural tourist attraction in West Lombok Regency with advantages in cultural and historical tourist attractions with the existence of this ceremony which is associated with various other tourism activities. As for other activities that can be associated with the Ngusaba Gumang Ceremony, such as culinary tours and spiritual tours and locations for tents/traditional markets in Golong Village.
