Abstract

Intracerebral Hemorrhage (ICH) is a type of Hemorrhagic Stroke caused by hypertension, old age, and poor lifestyle. ICH can result in increased intracranial pressure and even sudden death due to brain herniation. One way to reduce increased intracranial pressure is by applying a 30° head-up position. The purpose of this study is to obtain a general overview of Emergency Nursing Care for Mr. J with a medical diagnosis of Intracerebral Hemorrhage by applying a 30° head-up position to reduce Intracranial Adaptive Capacity. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a type of Single Experimental Case Study research with a Nursing Care approach. The instruments in this study include assessment sheets, 3S books, Nursing kits, and SOP sheets, with a sample size of 1 respondent. The results based on the case study conducted can be concluded that the implementation of the 30° head-up position in ICH patients with nursing problems of Decreased Intracranial Adaptive Capacity has not been resolved with the outcome of Increased ICP Management. This research is expected to be applied in hospitals to ICH patients experiencing nursing problems of Decreased Intracranial Adaptive Capacity.

Abstract

Heart failure accounts for 85% of deaths among cardiovascular disease patients. One of the primary complications in heart failure patients is an ineffective breathing pattern. Reducing mortality related to respiratory dysfunction requires fundamental interventions. One effective nursing intervention is patient positioning, which enhances lung expansion and alleviates shortness of breath. This study investigates the impact of the right lateral position on the respiratory status of heart failure (HF) patients at RSUD Dr. H. Moch Ansari Saleh. This study employed a quantitative, pre-experimental research design, specifically a one-group pretest-posttest approach. A total of 30 respondents were selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection involved observation sheets based on the SLKI for ineffective breathing patterns and pulse oximetry measurements. Statistical analysis was conducted using the Wilcoxon test, yielding a p-value of 0.000, indicating a significant improvement in respiratory status after the right lateral positioning intervention. These findings suggest that the right lateral position can be an effective nursing intervention to enhance respiratory function in HF patients. Therefore, it is recommended for implementation in the Kumala Room, Floor III, as a supportive measure to improve patient outcomes.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Problems that pregnant women may experience are abnormalities in fetal presentation. Therapy is needed to increase fetal activity so that it is hoped that the fetus can rotate from breech presentation to head presentation. Analyzing the differences in the use of moxa and prenatal yoga on changes in abnormal fetal position. The method used quasi-experimental with pretest posttest with control group design. The population in the study were pregnant women in the third trimester, with fetal malpresentation and a total of 20 single fetuses. Sampling was done using total sampling technique. Data analysis used the U-mann Whitney statistical test. Statistical analysis obtained a p-value test result of 0.022, which means that the p-value is smaller than the α value of 0.05, so that data interpretation shows a difference in the use of moxa and prenatal yoga on changes in abnormal fetal position. Moxa therapy and prenatal yoga can be used to correct the fetus's position to a normal position. Keywords: Moxa Therapy, Prenatal Yoga, Malpresentation  ABSTRAK Masalah yang mungkin dialami ibu hamil adalah kelainan presentasi janin.
