Abstract

Education is a process of changing knowledge, increasing, skills, improving attitudes and behavior of humans or groups that are trying to educate the life of the nation and humans by carrying out learning and teaching process activities as well as guidance on training learning. Among the developments in science and technology (science technology), technology applications to websites are now widely available and can facilitate the student learning process in an interactive and active way, with the application of this technology it provides opportunities for students to review information and be able to practice knowledge, as well as student skills in the learning process by enjoying the game.

Abstract

This research is prompted by the low numeracy skills in multiplication lesson with evidence of student learning outcomes that are still much below average. From this problem, the researcher used the counting funnel media on the numeracy skills of second-grade students of SD Negeri near of district Kelapa. This study aimed to determine the effect of using funnel counting media on students' counting skills in class II SD Negeri near of district Kelapa. This research is experimental research, namely quasi-experimental design, with a nonequivalent control design. The data collecting technique was a test. The data collection in this study is in the form of written essay questions. The sampling technique was a saturated sampling with a total sample of 42 students divided between the experimental class of 21 students and the control class of 21 students. The results of this study indicate that from the results of data analysis, the average value of the experimental class is 79.286 and the average value of the control class is 61.429. From the results of the hypothesis test, it was obtained that tcount is greater than ttable (5.546 > 2.021), that indicates the Ha was accepted. Thus it can be concluded that there is an effect of using the counting funnel media on the numeracy skills of second-grade students of SD Negeri near of district Kelapa

Abstract

Reflective abstraction really helps students in the learning process of mathematics. Students who have good Reflective Abstraction will understand mathematical concepts and can relate mathematical concepts easily. This research question is how is each level of the reflective abstraction of high school students? This research was conducted using a qualitative approach with grounded theory methods. The research subjects involved in this study were allegedly 36 people who came from senior high schools in Pangkalpinang, Bangka Belitung Islands Province. Of the 36 subjects, 8 people were selected consisting of two representatives from each level of Reflective Abstraction for further interviews. This study found that the attribute Level 4 which is Building the Right Clear Concept is to build a new concept without experiencing errors in the concept being built, the concept that is built clearly and easily fits, and Explanatory Arguments which provide arguments or explanations for each step of the concept being built. Level 3 which is Building a Concept that contains a Complete Concept Clear or there is a Concept Mistake is building a new complete and clear concept or building a concept but there is an error in the concept being built, and Level 2 which does not build a concept is unable to build a new concept but remembering Returning a relevant concept, which means being able to remember related concepts but unable to link relevant concepts or being unable to recall relevant concepts so being unable to construct new concepts

Abstract

This research is driven by the low of student’s critical thinking ability in learning Mathematics as well as teachers that still use conventional models during teaching and learning activities. This research aims to determine the effect of the Means Ends Analysis (MEA) learning model on students' critical thinking ability. The quasi-experimental method is used in this research along with a quantitative approach. The research design uses a non-equivalent control group pre-test post-test design. This research applied the MEA learning model to the experimental class and the conventional model to the control class. The population in this study was the fifth-grade students at one of the Pangkalpinang State Elementary Schools. Purposive sampling is used as the sampling technique. The samples in this research were Class V-A as the experimental and Class V-B as the control class. The data collection technique uses a critical thinking ability test in the form of essay questions consisting of a pre-test and a post-test. The data analysis technique in this research uses the normality test (Kolmogorov Smirnov test), homogeneity test (Fisher test), and hypothesis test which uses the dependent sample t-test (pooled variance). Based on the results of the hypothesis test using the dependent sample t-test (pooled variance), the value of tcount = 5,185 > ttable = 1,995. So, it can be concluded that Ha is accepted; it means that there is an influence of the MEA learning model on students' critical thinking ability in class V on fraction topic.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the characteristics of LKPD using the context of Bangka Belitung’s local cuisine on a valid and practical system of linear equation in three variables, and to determine the potential effects in training mathematical literacy skills. This study uses the Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model by Branch. The subjects of the study were the students of class X DKV1 which were divided into a group of 3 students in one-to-one stage, 6 students in small group, a group of 17 students in field test; while there were 20 students as implementation subjects of class X DKV2. The data analysis techniques are the descriptive qualitative and descriptive quantitative. This study developed a very valid LKPD on the material criteria with a percentage of 87%, 88.6% in media criteria, and 75% valid in the language category. The developed LKPD is also very practical with a percentage of 82.4%, and this LKPD has characteristics in accordance with mathematical literacy, contains the context of Bangka Belitung’s local cuisine and contains the system of linear equation in three variables. The potential effect of LKPD in training students' mathematical literacy skills is 56.00% with a Fairly High category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi permasalahan yaitu kurangnya pemahaman konsep materi bilangan bulat, rendahnya pemahaman konsep penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan bulat siswa serta hasil ulangan harian matematika sisiwa rendah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran quantum learning terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan bulat pada siswa kelas IV SD. Desain penelitian yang digunakan ialah eksperimen semu (quasi exsperiment) dengan Nonequivalent-Group Pretest-Posttes Design. Teknik pengambilan sampel berupa sampel total dengan teknik jenuh pengumpulan data adalah tes uraian. Teknik Analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji independen Sample T-Test. Hasil penelitian diperoleh uji normalitas Pretest kelas kontrol 0,174 0,05 dan nilai Posttest 0,159 0,05, sedangkan  Pretest kelas eksperimen 0,280 0,05 dan Posttest 0,195 0,05, sehingga data berdistribusi normal. Uji homogenitas sebesar 0,071 0,05 berarti data homogen. Hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan uji independen Sample T-Test dengan hasil sig (2-tailed) adalah 0,000 0,05. Hal ini menunjukkan Ho ditolak dan Ha di terima. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran quantum learning terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep penjumlahan dan pengurangan materi bilangan bulat siswa kelas IV.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the limitations of teachers who have not implemented teaching materials in schools, the lack of mathematics word problems related to everyday life issues, and using conventional methods in class resulting in low students' problem-solving abilities. This study was conducted to determine the characteristics of mathematics e-modules based on problem-based learning using the flip pdf professional application on valid and practical Matrix and to determine its potential effects. This research is a research and development with a 4D (four D) development model consisting of four stages, they are Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. This study develops a mathematics e-module based on problem-based learning using the flip pdf professional application on valid matrix with an average validity score of 98.89% including the criteria of "very valid" and practical with an average practicality score of 89.03% including the criteria of "very practical. The characteristics developed are the existence of questions related to the competency of the department and the stages of work using the steps of the problem-based learning model. E-modules also have a potential effect of 0.74 on students' problem-solving abilities, which can potentially improve understanding and problem-solving abilities in mathematics.

Abstract

This study addresses the issue of inadequate use of learning tools among students, which leads to decreased interest, reduced focus, and limited understanding of the material. It is the goal of this study to create a media mystery box taringbarua (pull the net wake space) that is trustworthy, useful, and aware of how it might affect the mathematics learning of elementary school children. ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) development model is used in this type of work as part of the research and development (R&D) method. There were 44 fifth graders from SD Negeri in the south Bangka area who took part in the study. To get information, we used tests, surveys, and interviews. E The N-Gain score was used for quantitative analysis, while qualitative data were analyzed through thematic review. Findings from the validity acquisition of questionnaires from media and material specialists show that the language evaluation is 100% "very good," the media assessment is 97.61% "very good," and the material assessment is 94.44% "very good." The acquisition of student answer surveys, which include one-to-one trials (96.67% "excellent"), small group trials (98.33%"excellent"), and field trials (86.15% "excellent"), demonstrates the practicality of assessment. Based on the test findings, which showed an average N-Gain of 72.77 in the "high" category, it can be said that the mystery box taringbarua media can improve students' conceptual comprehension.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the lack of enthusiasm of students when learning mathematics and the low learning outcomes of students on the material on how to calculate addition and subtraction, this can be seen from the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) which is still low because students are less interested in learning mathematics due to the lack of use of concrete media to make it easier for students to count. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the JURANG board media (addition and subtraction) on the learning outcomes of class II A students of Public Elementary School 15 Sungailiat.. This study is a quantitative study with a Pre-experimental design type, with One Group Pretest-Posttest. The sampling technique used a saturated sampling technique with samples of all class II A which became the experimental group. The data collection technique was carried out using essay questions. The data analysis technique used the normality test and the Paired Samples T Test hypothesis test.Based on the results of the normality test, the pretest data was 0.89 in the experimental class, for the posttest data in the experimental class 0.169, the data obtained was normally distributed because sig> 0.05. The results of the hypothesis test obtained a value of 0.00. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the ravine board media (addition and subtraction) on the learning outcomes of Class II A students of Public Elementary School 15 Sungailiat.

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara yang kaya akan sumber daya alam, terdiri dari sumber daya alam yang dapat di perbaharui dan juga tidak. Bangka Belitung merupakan provinsi di Indonesia yang terkenal akan timahnya. Timah yang melimpah menjadi mata pencaharian penduduk stempat, namun sayang terkadang bekas- bekas tambang ini meninggalkan lubang- lubang yang sangat besar. Lubang- lubang tersebut membentuk danau buatan yang dapat di jadikan tempat wisata. Danau Pading contohnya merupakan wisata yang berasal dari bekas pertambangan timah yang terletak di Desa Perlang, Bangka Tengah. Danau Pading ini di kembangkan ole pemuda daerah yang tergabung dalam POKDARWIS Pelintar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merehabilitasi lingkungan pasca tambang timah di Danau Pading melalui penanaman tanaman durian yang menggunakan pendekatan etnomatematika basis agrowisata dengan  jarak tanam 6m dan kedalaman 30 cm. Metode yang di gunakan terdiri dari 4 tahapan beupa identifikasi kegiatan, pelaksanaan pelatihan, pembersihan lahan, dan penanaman. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah telah merehablitasi lingkungan pasca tambang melalui penanaman durian yang dapat digunakan dalam jangka panjang untuk mendukung pengembangan Danau Pading sebagai destinasi wisata di Babel dengan basis agrowisata dan berwawasan lingkungan. Penguatan aspek edukatif melalui pendekatan etnomatika serta pengembangan website Danau agar informasi mengenai Danau Pading terus  update dan mampu menyajikan informasi yang memadai mengenai objek wisata yang tersedia.
