Abstract

This research emphasizes the vital role of teachers within the education system, specifically at the Islamic Education Foundation (IEF) Sirnamiskin Islamic Boarding School, and explores how compensation and motivation influence their performance. The study aims to evaluate compensation, motivation, and employee performance, along with the effects of compensation and motivation on performance. Compensation and motivation are the independent variables, while employee performance is the dependent variable. Utilizing a quantitative research approach with Stratified Random Sampling and Partial Least Square Modelling (PLS-SEM) for analysis, the study investigates the relationships among these variables. The results indicate that both compensation and motivation are rated positively, and employee performance is also satisfactory. These results indicate that both compensation and motivation substantially influence employee performance. Hence, assessing and improving compensation and motivation at IEF Islamic Boarding School Sirnamiskin is essential for further enhancing teacher performance.

Abstract

The mobile banking application of PT. XYZ offers two main services, which are the core banking functions: collecting funds from the public and disbursing funds to the public. However, a decline in the number of users of the XYZ mobile banking app has been observed in both Monthly Active Users and Monthly Transacting Users. The study involves respondents who represent the target market of Bank XYZ, such as active users and users who make transactions on the XYZ mobile banking application. Thus, the objective of this research is to evaluate the IT functional-level strategy of PT. XYZ's mobile banking application concerning continuance intention. Further, the study aims to explain the relationships between the variables of performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, and facilitating conditions from the UTAUT model, as well as the variable of unfavorable attitude toward cash payment (UATC), in relation to satisfaction and continuance intention, and the interaction between these variables. Employing a quantitative research method, the sampling technique was non-probability sampling, specifically purposive sampling, as the population was already sufficiently specific to mobile banking users of PT. XYZ, with 310 respondents who are users of PT. XYZ's mobile banking application. Data analysis was performed using CB-SEM with a Maximum Likelihood approach. The research findings indicate that performance expectancy has the most significant influence on continuance intention. The results also show that satisfaction, as an intervening variable, strengthens the significant effect of performance expectancy, effort expectancy, and social influence. Based on the findings, it is recommended to focus on performance expectancy, in line with the results of the descriptive analysis, which suggest that it is an area requiring urgent and critical evaluation. Enhancing performance expectancy can help sustain continuance intention among Monthly Active Users and Monthly Transacting Users of the XYZ mobile banking application.

Purpose: This study aims to solve the problems of ERP technology acceptance in PT. Hanampi Sejahtera Kahuripan (PT.HSK) and help employees adapt to using new technology. Method: The contribution of this research is to consider the problem using a factor analysis method based on the TAM and TIB models. In this research, the author took a quantitative approach through a survey involving 137 PT. HSK employees. Results: After being analyzed using Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), six factors were produced that influence the implementation of ERP information systems at PT. HSK. These factors are the Convenience Factor (factor 1), effectiveness factor (factor 2), behavior factor (factor 3), understanding factor (factor 4), performance factor (factor 5), and importance factor (factor 6). The research results show that six new factors were discovered, and the convenience factor emerged as the most influential in the acceptance of ERP technology at PT. HSK. Contribution: PT. HSK must pay attention to the convenience factor in the implementation and development of the ERP system so that employees can feel that using the ERP system can make their work faster and easier.
