This study aims to examine the influence of digital leadership and innovation management on innovation performance in organizations. The research used a quantitative approach, with 100 respondents, and collected data via structured questionnaires. The analysis was performed using Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) to evaluate the relationships among the variables. The results indicate that both digital leadership and innovation management have a significant and positive impact on innovation performance. Digital leadership enables leaders to utilize technology, foster an adaptive and innovative organizational culture, and support creative problem-solving. At the same time, effective innovation management ensures structured, collaborative, and responsive processes for idea generation, development, and implementation. Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of compensation and work motivation on employees’ work discipline at KPK, both partially and simultaneously, as well as to describe the conditions of the three variables. This quantitative survey collected primary data from 315 KPK employees through questionnaires and analyzed them using PLS-SEM to examine variable relationships and assess model adequacy. The results indicate that compensation falls within the “good” category, while work motivation and work discipline fall within the “very high” category. The structural model testing shows that work motivation has a positive and significant effect on work discipline ( ; ) with a large effect size. Compensation also has a positive and significant effect ( ; ), although with a small effect size. The value of 0.414 indicates moderate explanatory power, meaning that 41.4% of the variance in work discipline can be explained by compensation and work motivation. This study concludes that compensation and work motivation have a positive and significant effect on employees’ work discipline at KPK, with work motivation serving as the primary determinant. The practical implications highlight the need for HR policies that emphasize both fair compensation and enhanced work motivation, achieved through competency development, career management, supportive environments, and strong leadership. Additionally, the study suggests future research should include more variables and comprehensive designs to better understand work discipline in the public sector.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of workload and physical facility infrastructure on the performance of security personnel at DEF University using a quantitative approach based on the Job Demands-Resources Model. Data were collected from 176 respondents (56.2% of 313 personnel) using a 37-item questionnaire based on SWAT and CPTED, and analyzed via PLS-SEM with 5,000 bootstrap iterations. The results show that infrastructure has a dominant effect (β=0.682; p<0.001) on performance, while workload is not significant (β=-0.115; p=0.074), confirming a significant buffering effect (β=-0.214; p=0.010). These findings suggest prioritizing investments in surveillance technology and communication systems as a strategy to mitigate extreme workload, with managerial implications including a roadmap for enhancing job resources to ensure sustainable campus security performance.

Abstract

Human resources play a crucial role in achieving the performance objectives of public sector organizations. In the social service agency of North Sulawesi Province, employee performance achievement remains below that of several other regional government institutions, and multiple strategic programs have repeatedly failed to meet their targets. This situation indicates the need to evaluate internal organizational factors that may affect performance. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the influence of leadership style, work motivation, and work environment on employee performance in the agency. A quantitative explanatory method was applied, involving 90 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire with a 5-point Likert scale and analyzed through PLS-SEM using SmartPLS, incorporating both measurement and structural model assessments. The results show that work motivation and work environment have a significant positive effect on employee performance. Leadership style has no significant effect. The model explains 54.1% of the variance in employee performance, although model fit requires improvement. These findings highlight that organizational efforts should prioritize strengthening employee motivation and creating a more supportive work environment to enhance performance within the public sector.

Abstract

XYZ Group faces several major challenges that hinder the achievement of optimal employee performance. The main problem faced is the low employee performance, where many employees do not meet the minimum performance standard set by the company. Employee work motivation is also a serious issue, as a large number of employees feel less motivated to reach the set performance targets. Additionally, leadership competencies does not meet company standards, with leadership competencies scores at various management levels being below the required threshold. The newly established formal organizational culture, initiated in early 2022, has caused personal culture to be more dominant and systematically integrated into the organization's daily life. This study aims to identify and analyze the influence of leadership competencies and organizational culture on work motivation and its impact on employee performance at XYZ Group. By understanding these relationships, effective solutions are expected to be found to enhance employee performance and motivation through the development of leadership competencies and the strengthening of organizational culture. The research method used is a descriptive quantitative approach with a population consisting of all XYZ Group employees, totaling 106 individuals. The sample was taken using a saturated sampling technique, where the entire population was included. Primary data were obtained through the distribution of questionnaires and analyzed using the Partial Least Squares - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method to test the relationships between the variables in this study. This research reveals that leadership competencies and organizational culture at XYZ Group have a positive and significant impact on employee motivation and performance. The higher the leadership competencies and the stronger the organizational culture implemented, the higher the employee motivation and performance. Work motivation also serves as an intervening variable that links leadership competencies and organizational culture with performance. Weaknesses in leadership competencies and organizational culture can lower employee motivation and performance, making it essential for XYZ Group to enhance leadership competencies and strengthen organizational culture to further increase employee motivation and improve performance

Abstract

The research discussed Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (MBKM), an independent learning policy for universities in Indonesia issued by the Minister of Education and Culture in 2020. One highlighted policy was the right to study for students to study outside the study program for three semesters. The research intended to determine awareness and implementation of the MBKM program from students, lecturers, and education staff. The research applied a quantitative-descriptive method with a survey model. The research data and information were collected by distributing and filling out questionnaires at the Online Learning System (SPADA) of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of Indonesia. The data obtained were then processed through several analytical techniques, namely descriptive statistics using rank order and text processing and analysis. The population in the research consisted of students, lecturers, and educational staff at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Telkom University. The research indicates that the level of knowledge of lecturers, students, and educational staff regarding the MBKM program is relatively high, obtained from various sources of information, including through online/offline channels from the Directorate General of Higher Education. Follow-up that needs to be done as part of continuous improvement is the need for easy access to working groups at the Ministry of Education and Culture and the importance of socializing in terms of rules and technical aspects of MBKM implementation so that activities can run more optimally.

The management of hajj pilgrimage funds by the Government of Indonesia requires high professionalism and accountability. The declining trend in employee performance at the Hajj Financial Management Agency (BPKH) in 2022, marked by a reduction in "Outstanding" qualifications, highlights the need for improvements in the work environment, communication, and reward systems. This investigation intends to evaluate the impact of work environment, communication, and rewards on employee performance at BPKH. A quantitative approach was employed, collecting data through questionnaires distributed to 111 permanent employees, determined using Slovin's formula from a total population of 153. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings reflect that work environment, communication, and rewards significantly affect employee performance. This research contributes to the development of human resource management literature, particularly in the public sector. The study recommends enhancing ergonomic work facilities, fostering transparent internal communication, and implementing performance-based reward systems. These strategies are expected to encourage employee adaptation, collaboration, and the creation of a work culture that sustainably improves employee performance at BPKH
