Abstract

R&D research aims develop PBL -based LKPD for increase literacy numeracy and independence Study student in accordance with criteria valid, practical, and effective teaching tools. The development model used is ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The research show validity the highest on LKPD was 4.94 (valid), and the lowest on pretest - posttest questions of 4.70 (valid). Practicality increase from trial I (no need revision 23%, revision small 76.7%) to trial II (no need revision 93.3%, revision small 6.7%). Observation implementation learning show improvement from trial I (average 2.52 or 50.83%, quite good) to trial II (average 4.71 or 95.52 %, very good). Effectiveness seen from activity students and questionnaires response. Activity student increase from trial I (average 2.79 or 56.67%, quite good) to trial II (average 4.13 or 89.98 &, very good). Response students also increased from neutral (62.20%) to interested (86.02%). Ability literacy numeracy based on N-gain increase from trial I (0.34, no effective) to trial II (0.771, effective). Independence learning also increases from category Enough independent (41.3%) to very independent (87.8%).

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi penekanan metode pada media gambar sebagai fitur utama. Dalam fase implementasi, guru berubah menjadi fasilitator, membimbing siswa melalui pengamatan dan diskusi. Peran guru menjadi sangat penting dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang mendukung, menumbuhkan keterlibatan, dan mengarahkan diskusi menuju pemahaman yang lebih dalam. Temuan ini menunjukkan berbagai ukuran efek yang dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal (biologis dan psikologis) dan faktor eksternal (lingkungan dan lingkungan masyarakat, waktu). Evaluasi meta mengungkapkan ukuran efek keseluruhan yang tinggi dari 1.323132 untuk metode contoh-non-contoh dalam instruksi sains. Fitur spesifik identifikasi studi berkontribusi pada efektivitasnya, menekankan kemampuan beradaptasi dan penyelarasan dengan praktik pendidikan modern. Mengakui berbagai ukuran efek dan ketergantungannya pada keadaan yang kompleks, penelitian ini menawarkan wawasan yang berharga untuk strategi implementasi yang disesuaikan, berkontribusi pada pemahaman yang bernuansa tentang dinamika metode dalam konteks pendidikan pendidikan praktis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif untuk mendukung keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi (HOTS) pada mata pelajaran Informatika kelas X di SMK Negeri 1 Kutacane. Latar belakang penelitian berangkat dari minimnya media visual dan digital yang interaktif, kesulitan guru dalam menyajikan materi algoritma dan pemrograman secara menarik, serta kurang optimalnya pemanfaatan teknologi dalam proses pembelajaran. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Reseach and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Instrumen penelitian berupa uji kelayakan oleh ahli, uji akseptabilitias pengguna, serta uji efektivitas dengan desain one group pretetst-posttest yang dianalisis menggunakan N-gain. Hasil validasi ahli media memperoleh skor 4,58 dan ahli materi 4,35 dengan kategori “Sangat Layak”. Uji akseptabilitas menghasilkan skor 4,34 dengan kategori “Sangat Tinggi”. Uji efektivitas menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman siswa dengan N-gain 0,7 kategori “Cukup Efektif”. Dengan demikian, media yang dikembangkan dinilai layak, diterima dengan baik, dan cukup efektif meningkatkan kemampuan HOTS siswa.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui: 1) keefektifan kegiatan bel-ajar mengajar; 2) peningkatan kemampuan kompetensi kerja siswa; 3) pe-manfaatan faktor pendukung dan mengatasi faktor penghambat unit pro-duksi (UP), serta dampaknya bagi SMK. Model penelitian menggunakan CIPP-Logic dengan mixed method designs. Populasi penelitian adalah SMKN RSBI-SBI rumpun teknologi yang memiliki unit produksi. Penentuan sam-pel dengan purposive sampling yaitu: SMKN 2 Yogyakarta, SMKN 2 Depok Sleman, SMKN 2 Pengasih Kulon Progo dan SMKN 2 Wonosari Gunung Kidul. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner, wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data meliputi analisis deskriptif, model Miles-Huberman dan logical framework analysis. Hasil penelitian adalah: 1) sebagian besar UP aktif, namun sumbangan sebagai sarana pembelajaran dan sum-ber pembiayaan operasional relatif kecil; 2) sebagian besar program UP mampu menyelaraskan program kurikulum, namun pemanfaatan sarpras dan SDM belum optimal; 3) peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan siswa tercapai, namun jumlahnya terbatas; 4) keefektifan sebagai sarana pembelajaran tercapai, namun jumlah siswa dan guru yang terlibat relatif kecil; 5) kualitas konstruksi dan bahan tinggi serta harga jual standar, na-mun kualitas tampilan belum maksimal; 6) menambah kesejahteraan warga sekolah, dan pendapatan sekolah; dan 7) sebagian besar UP dipercaya ma-syarakat/industri.Kata kunci: unit produksi, kemampuan kompetensi kerja, sekolah menengah kejuruan______________________________________________________________AN EVALUATION OF THE EFFECTIVENESS OF PRODUCTION UNITS IN PREPARING STUDENTS' OCCUPATIONAL COMPETENCE ON VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOLSAbstractThis study aims to know: 1) the effectiveness teaching and learning; 2) the improvement of students' occupational competence, 3) the utilization of the facilitating factors and the hindering factors in the production units, and the impacts of the production units on VHSs. The research model used was the CIPP-Logic evaluation model with the mixed method designs. The research population comprised VHSs in the engineering cluster possessing production units in Yogyakarta Special Territory. The research sample was determined purposely, consisting of SMKN 2 Jetis Yogyakarta, SMKN 2 Depok Sleman, SMKN 2 Pengasih and SMKN 2 Wonosari. The quantitative and qualitative data were collected through questionnaires, in-depth inter-views, in-depth observations, and documents with reference. The data analysis employed a model by Miles-Huberman and logical frame-work analysis. The research findings are as follows. 1) Most of the production units are active, but their contributions as learning resources and as operational cost sources are relatively small. 2) Most of the production units are capable of adjusting the curricular programs to the production unit programs, but the utilization of the infrastructure facilities and human resources is not maximal. 3) improving students' knowledge and skills is reached but limited in number, 4) The effectiveness as learning resources for students is reached, but the students and teachers involved are limited in number. 5) The quality of construction and materials is high, the price is standard, but their performance is not maximum yet. 6) The production units can improve the welfare of school members and give the schools additional incomes. 7) Most of the production units are trusted bye indus-tries and society.Keywords: production units, occupational competence, vocational high schools

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation pattern of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) for Vocational High School (VHS) supervisors in North Sumatra, focusing on two main issues: (1) What is the current implementation pattern of CPD for VHS supervisors? and (2) What are the strengths and weaknesses in implementing the CPD? This research uses a qualitative descriptive method, with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation, and document analysis. The results show that the CPD implementation pattern for VHS supervisors in North Sumatra varies in its application, with some supervisors actively participating in development activities, but there are still limitations in terms of access and consistency of training. The main strength of the CPD program lies in the support of local government policies and the initiative of supervisors to develop their competencies independently. On the other hand, weaknesses include a lack of coordination between related agencies, limited budget, and ineffective monitoring and evaluation of CPD program results. This study suggests the need for improved coordination systems, increased budgets, and continuous monitoring to enhance the effectiveness of CPD for VHS supervisors.

Abstract

This article uses the Provus Evaluation Model (Discrepancy Model) developed by Malcolm Provus. The current article aims to analyze whether the program is worth continuing, improving, or stopping. This model emphasizes the formulation of (1) standards, (2) performance, and (3) discrepancy in detail and measurable. The results show some general weaknesses of the teacher professional program (PPG), namely the lack of practical application of the program, where teachers focus too much on theory and not enough on practical teaching skills. Teachers may not receive adequate financial support for self-direction during the program or after they complete it. Some programs may not reflect the latest research and developments in education. Balancing teaching and professional development can be challenging, and some programs may not offer flexible scheduling and equity of training time for pre-service and in-service teachers.K

Abstract

This research aims to design, develop, and validate a competency test for assessing students in the Electric Power System field. Given the need for rigorous, competency-based assessments in Electrical Engineering, this study addresses the gap by creating a test aligned with specific graduate competencies. The competency test was developed using the Borg and Gall development model, following seven systematic steps. Test items were structured around the competencies expected of graduates from the Electrical Engineering program, categorized according to Bloom’s taxonomy levels 4, 5, and 6 to assess higher-order cognitive skills. A two-phase trial was conducted with 80 students to refine and validate the test. Validation by material and evaluation experts rated the test highly feasible, with scores of 71.0 and 45.55, respectively. Empirical validity testing, using biserial correlation, confirmed that all items were valid (correlation 0.302), and the reliability test via KR-20 yielded a high reliability coefficient (α = 0.854). Item difficulty was balanced, with 10% easy, 83% moderate, and 0.7% difficult questions. Item discrimination levels were 20% moderate, 33% good, and 47% very good. The results suggest that the competency test is a reliable and valid tool for assessing critical competencies in Electric Power Systems, effectively distinguishing between different levels of student ability. This validated competency test provides a robust assessment tool, supporting competency-based education in Electrical Engineering. Its design and validation process can serve as a model for future competency assessments in technical disciplines.
