Abstract

Cette étude examine le processus d’acquisition des compétences interculturelles dans l’apprentissage du français à l’Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES). En s’appuyant sur une approche qualitative et une étude de cas, les données ont été recueillies à travers des entretiens approfondis avec 14 enseignants de français. Les résultats révèlent que, bien que la transmission de la compétence interculturelle soit considérée comme importante, elle reste encore partielle. Les dimensions du savoir, de la compréhension et des compétences pratiques (savoir-faire) sont davantage explorées, tandis que les attitudes (savoir-être) et la pensée critique (savoir-s’engager) sont moins abordées. L’étude identifie cinq fonctions essentielles de la compétence interculturelle pour les apprenants : 1) prévenir le choc culturel, 2) faciliter la compréhension des contextes linguistiques et culturels, 3) motiver et préparer mentalement, 4) renforcer l’identité personnelle et filtrer les valeurs non compatibles, 5) développer un esprit critique dans la réception d’informations. L’intégration plus équilibrée des cinq dimensions proposées par Byram est nécessaire pour former des apprenants capables de naviguer efficacement dans un monde multiculturel. Cette étude recommande un renforcement des formations enseignantes en matière de compétence interculturelle et une révision curriculaire intégrant ces dimensions de manière systématique.

Abstract

This research is to know the values of religious character in the novel Mahamimpi Anak Negeri by Suyatna Pamungkas to build the character of high school students. The goal of this research is the formation of the religious character of high school students through the novel in the novel Mahamimpi Anak Negeri by Suyatna Pamungkas. This research method is descriptive qualitative. The technique of writing this data using content analysis. The results of this study First, the results of the discourse analysis found that describes the education of religious characters in the novel Mahamimmpi Anak Negeri Suyatna Pamungkas. Both discussions about the religious character of high school students through interviews with teachers.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe martial art or pencak silat is a combating method that philosophically teaches both spiritual and physical education helping the enthusiasts to live with the noble moral values in their society. The material object of this study is pencak silat and the formal object is the philosophy of arts or aesthetics of the pencak silat. This study aims to examine (1) norms or manners of pencak silat, (2) pencak silat style, (3)  pencak silat categories and pencak silat equipments. This research employs factual-historical method by means of description, analysis, and synthesis. The results are (1) norms of pencak silat are conceptually found in the attitude of performance, steps (gerak langkah), attack (serangan), and defense (belaan), (2) martial arts style consists of the mental-spiritual aspects, martial arts, arts, and sport, (3) arts in martial arts are subdivided into wiraga, wirama, and wirasa, and the martial arts equipments include specific use of costumes, weapons, and traditional music acompaniments. Keywords: martial arts style, pencak silat, philosophical values, wiraga-wirama-wirasa ABSTRAK Seni bela diri pencak silat sebagai metode bertarung secara filosofis mengajarkan pendidikan spiritual dan fisik untuk membantu para peminatnya dalam menghayati nilai-nilai moral yang luhur di dalamnya. Objek material dari penelitian ini adalah pencak silat dan objek formal adalah filsafat seni atau estetika dari pencak silat tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji (1) norma atau perilaku pencak silat, (2) gaya pencak silat, (3) kategori pencak silat dan peralatannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode faktual-historis melalui deskripsi, analisis, dan sintesis. Hasilnya adalah (1) norma pencak silat yang secara konseptual ditemukan dalam sikap kinerja, gerak langkah, serangan, dan pertahanan (belaan), (2) gaya seni bela diri (aliran gaya) yang terdiri dari aspek mental-spiritual, bela diri, seni, dan olahraga, (3) seni dalam seni bela diri dibagi menjadi wiraga, wirama, dan wirasa serta peralatan seni bela diri termasuk penggunaan kostum, senjata khusus, dan pengiring musik tradisional.Kata kunci: gaya seni bela diri, pencak silat, nilai filosofis, wiraga-wirama-wirasa

Abstract

Batik merupakan warisan budaya takbenda Indonesia yang memiliki nilai estetika, historis, dan filosofis yang mendalam. Namun, arus globalisasi telah menghadirkan tantangan besar terhadap pelestariannya, terutama di kalangan diaspora Jawa yang hidup jauh dari akar budayanya. Studi ini melaporkan sebuah program partisipatif berbasis komunitas yang bertujuan memberdayakan generasi muda diaspora Jawa di Keraton Mbah Anang, Muar–Johor Bahru, Malaysia, melalui lokakarya pembuatan batik. Program ini melibatkan peserta berusia 10–20 tahun yang mengikuti serangkaian kegiatan, termasuk orientasi budaya dan pelatihan langsung teknik batik tulis tradisional. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam keterampilan teknis serta tumbuhnya kesadaran budaya di kalangan peserta. Selain itu, program ini memperkuat ikatan sosial dalam komunitas diaspora. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan batik tidak hanya menjadi media pelestarian warisan budaya, tetapi juga pendekatan adaptif dan pemberdayaan bagi komunitas diaspora dalam menghadapi tantangan generasi dan konteks sosial. Keberhasilan inisiatif ini menegaskan pentingnya program pendidikan budaya yang berkelanjutan dan responsif untuk menjamin keberlangsungan tradisi Jawa di luar negeri.

Abstract

The Dayak Maanyan community recognizes two types of languages. The language used daily and the language used in traditional rituals. The language used in the ritual is arranged in the form of paired clauses with similar meanings. This article will examine the meaning relation between words in the paired clauses. The research was conducted in the East Barito district, Central Kalimantan province. This study's data collection area is the East Hamlet District in Jaar Village. Documentation of data in ritual leader utterances is done by transcribing recorded speeches during the ritual and recordings during direct interviews with ritual leaders to obtain the entire content of the ritual speech. Based on the results of data analysis from 840 pairs of transcribed clauses, The researcher found that the relation of synonymous meaning dominated the relation of meaning between the two clauses. The researcher also found the meaning relationship between class inclusion and meronymy and case relation. The pattern of meaning relations formed from the words in the paired clauses is that a is equal to b, b is a type of a, a is a component of b, a is a member of b, place b is part of the area of a, b is made of a, a has b, a is related to b, a is b, a does b, a becomes b, does a is accepted by b, does a uses b, does a aims to b.

Abstract

The benefits of studying history, in addition to remembering the past, are also valuable lessons for future generations. Through history, the younger generation knows the cultural treasures of the nation so that they can preserve them. One of the original arts belonging to West Kalimantan is the traditional theater mendu. This theater was successful at the beginning of its emergence (1876 AD) until the Japanese colonial era. After that it was dim because society was forbidden by Japan to gather and associate. Mendu was bloated again and became the belle of the 80's which was driven by the maestro Sataruddin Ramli (1948 - 2015). However, this particular art of West Kalimantan is now only a memory. This research aims to describe the golden age of West Kalimantan's traditional theater. The method used is descriptive qualitative form with a literature study approach. The results of the study describe (1) the glory period from the beginning of the emergence of the mendu to the Japanese occupation (1876 - 1942), (2) the traditional theater of the mendu became the belle of the community (1980s - 2000s). Factors that cause the mendu golden period include because in the past the world of entertainment was not yet sophisticated and modern, the characteristics of the traditional and simple community, the story that was served favored by the community at that time, the participation of the Regional Government of West Kalimantan, as well as coaching was held for the younger generation.

Abstract

This research aims are 1) to describe the implementation of the noble values of Ki Hajar Dewantara’s teaching to develop students' character, 2) to know the problems implementation of the noble values of Ki Hajar Dewantara’s teaching to develop students' character, and 3) find the strategy was implemented of the noble values of Ki Hajar Dewantara’s teaching to develop students' character. It used decriptive qualitative method with the single embedded case study strategy. The method data collection through in-depth interview, observation, documentation, and content analysis. Triangulation technique was used to check the validity. They were analyzed by using the interactive model. Conclusion: 1) the implementation of the noble values of Ki Hajar Dewantara’s teaching very important to develop the students’ character, 2) the problems implementation of the noble values of Ki Hajar Dewantara’s teaching from internal dan external factors, and 3) the strategy was implemented of the noble values of Ki Hajar Dewantara’s teaching to develop students' character with trilogi kepemimpinan.

Abstract

Java is a cultural center that is quite influential in the Southeast Asian Region. Since centuries ago, Java has always been the center of attention of products of high cultural knowledge and knowledge. The specific purpose of this research is to develop at an early stage the Java methodology. This research is very strategic to do because the data shows that research on the subject of Javanese culture always shows results that are not optimal. On the other hand, the use of Western methodologies is not able to reach the core Javanese values so that Java only be seen from the outer structure. This study seeks to compile the initial stages of the formulation of the Javanese methodology by collecting data from various Javanese sources, including from the informant, written sources, textbooks, Javanese ancient manuscripts, and various existing traditional ceremonies. The results show that (1) Java has a different conception of truth that has an impact on its methodological implications, (2) the Javanese methodology has a different paradigm, (3) the Javanese methodology is authentic in the attitudes, behavior, and ways of the Javanese people in carrying out their cultural life.Keywords: Methodology; Java; research; culture.

Abstract

This research seeks to uncover and provide critical arguments of magical meaning in Mantra Kidung Jawa (after this referred to as MKJ). The focus of the investigation is the author's form and motive to create the spell. Various text models are considered strategies for magical purposes. This qualitative method of hermeneutics and content analysis was used as a research guideline. The object of the study is a collection of MKJ texts in Serat Kidungan's book published by the publisher Maha-Dewa, Ngajogjakarta Hadiningrat, 1957. This research data is in the form of text that implicitly contains magical meanings. Research shows that the magical power of mantras is still believed to influence Javanese life in the past. There is a correlation of 'interaction' between literature and mantras. The content of MKJ text is nostalgic, which repeatedly conveys and reminds of mythological figures, which are often mysterious. MKJ has relationships with various religions, both Hindu and Islamic. This proves that there is always the possibility of creativity when traditions side by side with religion that lasts for a long period. Kebenaran ini merupakan sinyal untuk yaitu sinyal untuk yaitu yaitu Y kedua, kekuatan teks mantra terletak pada keyakinan atas energi supranatural yang berasal dari imaji magis alam, tokoh mitologi, dan Bahasa Indonesia. Beri beri kerangka penelitian ini adalah bahwa MKJ bisa ber pada studi transdisipliner di daerah kesehatan di balik teks mistik. Warisan leluhur Jawa melalui mantra bisa bisa menjadi kata-kata untuk kehidupan yang luar, termasuk krisis kesehatan global akibat Covid-19.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of the annual tradition of Bulusan celebration as folklore in Kudus which is considered to have a structure. This study aims to describe the structures behind the Bulusan folklore in the Kudus community, Central Java. The formulation of the research problem is as follows: 1) Does the Bulusan folklore have a structure? 2) How is the transformation of the structure of the Bulusan folklore? This study uses a literature review method regarding various existing sources. The results of this study are as follows. 1) Bulusan story has a structure consisting of external structure, internal structure, and oppositional relations. 2) the transformation of the story is divided into six points, one of which is the Bulus transformation as a form of fertility and prosperity. Thus, this folklore about Bulus is relevant to be reviewed based on Levi Strauss structuralism analysis.
