Abstract

Abstrak. Tumbuhan kelor (Moringan oleifera Lamk.) termasuk dalam famili Moringaceae yang memiliki banyak manfaat, salah satunya yaitu anti bakteri. Penenlitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kandungan fraksi ekstrak metanol dan uji  toksisitasnya. Batang kelor yang sudah di haluskan di maserasi dengan metanol, kemudian di evaporasi untuk menghasilkan ekstrak kental. Ekstrak kental yang dihasilkan kemudian di fraksinasi menggunakan keomatografi kolom cair vakum. Fraksi yang dihasilkan kemudian di analisis menggunakan GC-MS dan BSLT (Brine Shrimp Lethality Test). Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu, fraksi mengandung senyawa utama  Hexadecanoid acid dan 6-octadecanoid acid. Adapun nilai LC50  yang dihasilkan yaitu sebesar 90.012 ppm yang menunjukkan bahwa fraksi bersifat toksik

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian eksplorasi ini bertujuan untuk mengisolasi dan mengidentifikasi senyawa metabolit sekunder ekstrak metanol umbi dari tumbuhan Belajang Keissi’ (S. venosa (Blume) Spreng) yang berasal dari Kecamatan Mambi, Kabupaten Mamasa, Provinsi Sulawesi Barat. Tahap penelitian terdiri dari preparasi sampel, ekstraksi, fraksinasi, pemurnian dan identifikasi dengan Spektrofotometer IR. Hasil uji fitokimia ekstrak metanol umbi S. venosa (Blume) Spreng positif mengandung alkaloid dan flavonoid. Isolat C6 yang di  analisis dengan FTIR diidentifikasi sebagai senyawa alkaloid yang berupa serbuk berwarna putih dengan titik leleh 219℃. Hasil identifikasi dengan Spektrofotometer infamerah menunjukkan adanya gugus N-H, C-N, C-H, C=C, CO2 dan gugus -CH2-. Berdasarkan hasil uji spektrum FTIR menunjukkan bahwa senyawa yang diperoleh merupakan senyawa golongan alkaloid.ABSTRACTThis exploratory research aims to isolate and identify secondary metabolite compounds from tuber methanol extract from the Belajang Keissi' plant (S. venosa (Blume) Spreng) originating from Mambi District, Mamasa Regency, West Sulawesi Province. The research stage consists of sample preparation, extraction, fractionation, purification and identification with IR Spectrophotometer. The phytochemical test results of the methanol extract of S. venosa (Blume) Spreng tubers were positive for containing alkaloids and flavonoids. The C6 isolate analyzed by FTIR was identified as an alkaloid compound in the form of a white powder with a melting point of 219℃. Identification results using an infrared spectrophotometer showed the presence of N-H, C-N, C-H, C=C, CO2 and -CH2- groups. Based on the FTIR spectrum, it shows that the compound obtained is an alkaloid compound.

Abstract

Indonesia continues to experience a decline in cocoa production due to the aging of cocoa plants, conversion of cocoa plantations, pests, and diseases, as well as the government's focus on food crops. These factors contribute to the problem of decreasing cocoa yields. The objectives of this research are to develop the production of cacao tea from cocoa leaves as a natural herbal drink, and to identify bioactive chemical compounds resulting from the pyrolysis of cocoa waste by controlling temperature and time. The methodology employed in this study includes the analysis of lignin, cellulose, and hemicellulose content in cocoa leaves. The pyrolysis process was conducted at 300°C, 400°C, and 500°C. Extraction was performed using an extractor, where the cocoa leaf waste was mixed with water heated to 80°C for 3 hours. The analysis of flavonoid and antioxidant levels in Pinrang cocoa leaves revealed lignin levels of 43.13%, holocellulose content of 47.11%, alpha-cellulose content of 31.13%, and cellulose content of 43.13%. Proximate analysis of Kolaka Regency cocoa leaves indicated phenol levels of 529.52 mg/kg, catechin levels of 615.71 mg/kg, glucose content of 6.68%, caffeine content of 329.56 mg/kg, carbon content of 52.20%, nitrogen content of 1.24%, hydrogen content of 17.55%, and oxygen content of 29.01%. For cocoa leaf extract from Pinrang Regency, the total flavonoids were 6.01% w/w, while for Kolaka Regency, the total flavonoids were 35.10% w/w. The utilization of cocoa leaves from Kolaka Regency demonstrated superior antioxidant content compared to those from Pinrang Regency. This indicates that cacao tea products made from Kolaka Regency cocoa leaves have great potential for development as a herbal drink. However, there has been limited research on this topic, particularly regarding the use of cocoa waste for cacao tea products.

Abstract

Indonesia adalah salah satu produsen kelapa terbesar di dunia, bisnis kelapa di Indonesia memiliki banyak potensi. Penghasilan petani seringkali tidak menentu dan kurang menguntungkan karena harga kelapa yang berfluktuasi dan ketergantungan mereka pada penjualan kelapa mentah. Tim Pengabdian Masyarakat Universitas Negeri Makassar melakukan upaya untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dengan memberikan pelatihan mengolah Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) yang selanjutnya bisa diolah menjadi sabun alami. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan secara sistematis dengan cara memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada petani kelapa agar lebih terampil dalam mengolah VCO yang nantinya menjadi bahan utama dalam pembuatan sabun alami sebagai strategi untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan ekonomi petani kelapa. Berdasarkan hasil pelatihan, para petani kelapa sekarang melihat nilai dari mengubah VCO menjadi sabun alami karena memiliki potensi komersial baik skala lokal dan internasional selain itu juga memberikan manfaat Kesehatan yang lebih baik daripada sabun berbahan kimia sintetis. Salah satu tantangan yang dihadapi selama pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah kurangnya pengetahuan dan kemampuan teknis. Infrastruktur dan fasilitas juga menjadi kendala lain selama pengabdian. Butuh kerja sama antara sektor publik dan korporasi serta lembaga swadaya masyarakat untuk pertumbuhan bisnis sabun alami berbasis VCO ini.

Abstract

This Study is a development research that aims to produce interactive media based on appypie reality in a valid, practical, annd effective pronlem based learning model. The development model used is the ADDIE development model which consists of five stages, namely the analysis stage, the design stage, the development stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. The interactive media based on appypie that was developed was validated by two experts. Then, it was tested to 29 students in grade XI MIA 3 SMAN 3 Pinrang. The analysis used is data analysis of validity, practicality and effectiveness. The interactive media based on appypie is stated to valid based on the result of validating interactive media based on appypie with an average value of the media expert of 3.76, which are in very valid category. The interactive media based on appypie is stated to be practical based on (1) the implementation of interactive media with an average total percentage of 95,60%, which is in very high category; (2) the teacher's response with an average score of  95,75%, which is in very practical category; and (3) the students’ responses with an average score of 88,25%, which is in very practical category. The interactive media is stated to be effective based on the results of the analysis of the learning outcomes test and analysis of learning interest questionnaires with a class completeness percentage of 84% and an average value of the percentage of learning interest assessment of 81%, which is in high category. Therefore, the results of the study indicate that interactive media based on appypie in the proble, based learning learning model has valid, practical, and effective qualities.

Abstract

Speaking is the art of communicating in social situations so that people compete to learn languages ​​because this is an interesting goal for them to achieve. Communicating using English is very popular in the current era of globalization. English has many benefits for increasing your chances of making friends with other people from various countries and for getting a job abroad. Many schools from elementary school to university level have English learning materials. In this case, the research took place at SD IT Ulil Albab Kamal and focused on vocabulary, because the students' vocabulary was lacking so that they were not fluent in speaking English and did not have the courage to speak. The researcher also concluded questions that focus on the problem that occurred, namely: 1. How does the Second Grade Students of SD IT Ulil Albab Kamal improve vocabulary through anagram game? 2. How do the students respond toward the use of anagram game in the class? With this problem, researchers introduced the Anagram game and the methodology by using Descriptive Qualitative Method. Anagram game is a brain-teasing puzzle game, where players have to change one word into another word by rearranging the letters. This game is very good for improving vocabulary skills and prolonging memory for new words in English. Researchers used two instruments, namely observation and interviews. From the instruments used in collecting data in the field, producing conclusions by using the Anagram game, the Second Grade Students at SD IT Ulil Albab Kamal can understand the meaning of words when communicating by using English

Abstract

This study aims to characterize the pyrolysis products of cocoa pod waste from North Kolaka Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province. Pyrolysis takes place at various temperatures between 112 - 512 oC and produces liquid smoke and charcoal products. The highest liquid smoke yield was obtained at a temperature of 212 oC of 20.05%. The results of GC-MS analysis showed that liquid smoke contains many potential compounds consisting of acetic acid compounds with the highest concentration of 28.1%, Phenol, 2-methoxy- (CAS) Guaiacol with the highest concentration of 4.18%, 3-Hexine-2,5-diol (CAS) Hexine-3-diol-2,5 of 2.94%, and several aromatic and alcohol compound groups. FTIR analysis shows that the typical functional groups of cocoa pod charcoal consist of OH (hydroxyl) and C = C-H (aromatic) groups. XRD analysis shows that charcoal is dominated by an amorphous phase with a degree of crystallinity of 14%. Liquid smoke and cocoa pod charcoal have the potential to be used as raw materials in the chemical, health and manufacturing industries.

Abstract

The research is quasi experiments that aim to know the influence of pre-quiz giving using NHT type cooperative learning model towards motivation and achievement of X grade student of SMAN 11 Makassar. The independent variable are NHT type cooperative learning model with pre-quiz and without pre-quiz giving in cooperative learning model, and dependent variable are students’ motivation and achievement in chemical bonding main subject of learning. The population is whole student of X Grade SMAN 11 Makassar. The samples include two classes such as X2 as an experiment class with 36 students and X1 class as a control class with 34 students. The result of the research is obtained by giving motivation questionnaire and learning achievement test in chemical bonding subject which from as post-test and analyzed by using t-test. The result of inferential statistic analysis for learning motivation shows tcount (1,48) > ttable (1,828) at α= 0,05. And the result of inferential statistic for achievement test shows tcount (2,625) > ttable (1,674) at α= 0,05. According to the result of data analysis shows that pre-quiz in NHT type of cooperative learning model influences motivation and achievement of X grade student of SMAN 11 Makassar in main subject of chemical bonding.

Abstract

Pepaya dimanfaatkan pula daunnya sebagai sayuran dan pelunak daging. Daun pepaya muda dimakan sebagai lalap (setelah dilayukan dengan air panas) atau dijadikan pembungkus buntil. Bunga pepaya yang diurap menjadi sayuran yang biasa dimakan. Getah pepaya (dapat ditemukan di batang, daun, dan buah) mengandung enzim papain, semacam protease, yang dapat melunakkan daging dan mengubah konformasi protein lainnya. Tujuan PKM adalah (1). Memanfaatkan buah pepaya dengan menggunakan teknologi esterifikasi. (2). Melakukan pembuatan sabun alami dengan penambahan bahan organic untuk menghasilkan senyawa kimia bioaktif Mmenjalin kemitraan kelompok petani pepaya dan pihak terkait (masyarakat dan Desa) agar memanfaatkan buah papaya dan biji papaya untuk digunakan untuk bahan pembuatan sabun. Rencana PKM ini akan diilaksanakan Kecamatan Anggeraja di Kabupaten Enrekang, Jenis luaran yang dihasilkan sesuai rencana kegiatan PKM ini adalah produk berupa teknologi tepat guna berupa esterifikasi di modifikasi untuk menghasilkan sabun alami , Pelatihan pembuatan sabun organic dari limbah papaya mampu meningkatkan kesejakteraan petani di kelurahan tanete dan mampu mengetahui cara mengolah limbah papaya untu produk sabun organic, dan produk sabun tersebut bisa dilaukan dari rumah masyarakat petani tersebut.

Abstract

Dusun Sumbarrang, Desa Borong Pa’la’la, Kabupaten Gowa, memiliki potensi sumber daya alam berupa bambu yang melimpah dan telah dimanfaatkan oleh Kelompok Tani Sumbarrang. Namun, pemanfaatan tersebut masih dilakukan secara tradisional, terutama dalam proses pemilahan bambu yang memerlukan waktu lama dan tidak efisien. Selain itu, pengelolaan hasil produksi dan pemasarannya masih bersifat konvensional tanpa sentuhan teknologi digital. Berdasarkan kondisi tersebut, kegiatan ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi pemilahan bambu dan mendorong optimalisasi manajemen usaha melalui pelatihan penggunaan alat pemilah bambu sederhana dan pelatihan pemasaran berbasis e-commerce. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini meliputi observasi lapangan, perancangan dan pembuatan alat pemilah bambu sederhana, serta pelatihan teknis dan manajerial kepada masyarakat sasaran. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keterampilan dalam memilah bambu secara efisien serta peningkatan wawasan dan kesiapan kelompok tani dalam memanfaatkan platform digital untuk mendukung pemasaran produk. Kegiatan ini berdampak pada efisiensi kerja, perubahan sikap terhadap pemanfaatan teknologi, serta membuka peluang peningkatan ekonomi lokal. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan teknologi sederhana dapat menjadi solusi praktis dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat pedesaan. Disamping itu, penguatan manajemen digital turut mendukung keberlanjutan dari solusi tersebut.
