Abstract

Employee engagement is an important factor in the company. This is because employee engagement can ensure the company's long-term growth and make the company profitable in an increasingly challenging business environment. In this study, the researcher wanted to examine organizational culture with employee engagement, for Pancur Solidaritas Credit Union (CU) employees. This study is a quantitative research, in this study using two measuring tools, namely: Organizational culture scale by Fey and Denison (2003) with a total of 36 items and UWES (Utrecht Work Engagement Scale) proposed by Schaufeli and Bakker (2003) with a total of 17 items. The study involved 65 employees of Pancur Solidaritas Credit Union (CU). Based on the results of the Pearson correlation calculation, the correlation coefficient (r) between organizational culture variables and employee engagement is 0.706 with a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.05), from these results indicate that there is a positive and significant relationship between organizational culture and employee engagement. . The higher the organizational culture, the higher the employee engagement will be. The organizational culture of Pancur Solidaritas Credit Union (CU) employees is in the “very good” category and employee engagement of Pancur Solidaritas Credit Union (CU) employees is in the “high” category. The results of the assessment are based on the results of the "mean" calculation on a descriptive analysis of organizational culture and employee engagement. In addition, the effective contribution of organizational culture to employee engagement is 49.84%, while the rest is influenced by other factors of 50.16%. This means that organizational culture is not an absolute factor that affects employee engagement, but there are other factors that influence it. Further explanation of the results is discussed in this article.

Abstract

Each company has its policy in determining a work rule. The policy is based on an organizational culture that is implemented within the company. In this study, company X has an organizational structure that changes ownership, thus making the culture applied also changes. Employees within the scope of the company lack an understanding of the culture that is use and this greatly affects the production results of company X. The purpose of this study is to see the influence of organizational culture on the work motivation of employees of the production department at company X, using quantitative research methods. The results of hypothesis testing using the F test (ANOVA) obtained an F count of 49.760 (49.760 > 4.038393), and the Sig value obtained was 0.000 (< a = 0.05). In addition, the results of the coefficient of determination test obtained an Adjusted R Square value of 0.494. Thus, the result of this study is the influence of organizational culture on the work motivation of 49.4%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between hardiness and work stress of Kampoeng Kopi Banaran Bawen restaurant employees. This research uses a quantitative approach. The population in this study were employees of the Kampoeng Kopi Banaran Bawen restaurant, totaling 85 employees and the sample used in this study was 42 employees with the sampling technique used was incidental sampling. The data collection method used the hardiness scale from kobasa (1979), which was previously modified by Jimenez, Munoz, Hernandez, & Blanco (2014) consisting of 15 items and the work stress scale from Parker and Decotiis (1983) consisting of 13 items. The results of this study indicate a correlation, namely r=-0.458; p<0.05. This means that there is a negative and significant relationship between hardiness and work stress on Kampoeng Kopi Banaran Bawen restaurant employees. The higher the employee's hardiness, the lower the work stress that will be experienced by the employees of Kampoeng Kopi Banaran Bawen Restaurant and vice versa, the lower the hardiness, the higher the work stress.

Abstract

Abstract : The purpose of the study was to determine whether there is a relationship between transformational leadership style and psychological well-being of permanent employees of the production department who work at PT. Primayudha Mandirijaya. This research uses quantitative methods and descriptive statistical analysis, with pearson product moment techniques. Determinant of non-probability sampling technique with a total sample of 83 permanent employees of the production department at PT. Primayudha Mandirijaya. The measuring instruments used in this study were the mulmultifactor leadership scale developed by Bass and Avolio (1995) and the psyho logical well-being scales developed by Ryff (1989). The results of the analysis were obtained with a number of 0,435 and a significance value of 0.000 (< p 0.05), meaning that there is a positive and significant relationship between transformational leadership style and psychological well-being in permanent employees of the production department at PT. Primayudha Mandirijaya in Ampel, Boyolali District. This means that the higher the transformational leadership style, the higher the psychological well-being, conversely, the lower the transformational leadership style, the lower the psychological well-being. Keywords: Transformational leadership, psychological well-being, production department Abstrak : Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan antara gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dan kesejahteraan psikologis karyawan para karyawan tetap bagian produksi yang bekerja di PT. Primayudha Mandirijaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan analisa statistik deskriptif, dengan tehnik pearson product moment. Penentu teknik pengambilan sampel non probability sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 83 karyawan tetap bagian produksi di PT. Primayudha Mandirijaya. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah mulmultifactor leadership scale yang dikembangkan oleh Bass dan Avolio (1995) dan psyhological well-being scales dikembangkan oleh Ryff (1989). Hasil analisa diperoleh dengan angka 0,435 dan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (< p 0,05) artinya terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dan kesejahteraan psikologis pada karyawan tetap bagian produksi di PT. Primayudha Mandirijaya di Ampel Kab. Boyolali. Artinya semakin tinggi gaya kepemimpinan transformasional maka semakin tinggi pula kesejahteraan psikologis, sebaliknya semakin rendah gaya kepemimpinan transformasional maka semakin rendah juga kesejahteraan psikologis.
