Abstract

This study examines the impact of adoption drivers, perceived benefits, and implementation challenges of Artificial Intelligence-as-a-Service (AIaaS) on the organizational performance of technology companies in Indonesia. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 200 respondents through structured questionnaires and analyzed with multiple regression techniques. The results reveal that adoption drivers and perceived benefits have a significant positive influence on organizational performance, while implementation challenges exert a negative impact. These findings suggest that while AIaaS offers considerable potential for efficiency, innovation, and competitive advantage, unresolved barriers such as data security, system integration, and limited human resources hinder its effectiveness. This study contributes to the growing body of literature on AI adoption in emerging economies by highlighting the dual role of enablers and inhibitors in shaping AIaaS outcomes. Practical implications include the need for organizations to invest in digital skills development and risk management, and for policymakers to establish clear regulatory frameworks to accelerate responsible AIaaS adoption in Indonesia.

Abstract

The distribution system is divided into primary and secondary distribution networks. The primary distribution network is the network from the main substation transformer (GI) to the distribution substation, while the secondary is the channel network from the distribution substation transformer to the consumer or load. The primary distribution network is better known as the medium voltage network (JTM 20kV) while the secondary distribution is the low voltage network (JTR 220/380V). The distribution network is the part of the electric power system that is closest to customers or loads compared to the transmission network. Currently, network electricity conditions throughout Indonesia are experiencing a decline of 5% which is due to various factors such as the medium-scale diameter of the conductors used, so at the farthest SR the value of overvoltage is 10%, the allowable voltage drop and must anticipate an increase in electrical load of 22.7 %, the placement of the transformer is not optimal and the distance the electrical energy travels from the transformer to the load is not paid enough attention so that the capacity of a transformer is not optimal and the voltage drop is also greater. Given these conditions, re-evaluation and planning is needed that takes into account planning criteria such as allowable voltage drops and continuity of electricity services so that optimization of the network used can emerge.

Abstract

National electrical energy needs are increasing every year. This is accompanied by an increasingly massive use of fossil energy as a power plant. The government is targeting a share of new and renewable energy (EBT) of at least 23% by 2025. As a tropical country, Indonesia has a large potential for new and renewable energy, which mostly consists of solar energy with an average daily radiation of 4.8 kWh/m2/day. The design of a solar power plant (PLTS) at SMA Negeri 3 Surakarta is an effort to utilize NRE and can be used as a model for environmentally friendly schools for similar public institutions and the general public. This PLTS uses a hybrid system with a generating capacity of 1230 Wp, SCC 60A, 24 V 200 Ah battery and a 2400 W hybrid inverter. Using analysis methods with PVSyst and RetScreen simulations, this PLTS generates electricity of 1,653.2 kWh/year. With an initial investment of IDR 25,186,000, the net present value is IDR 1,210,272 and the payback period is 24 years.

Abstract

The demand for high-precision tasks in various industries, such as manufacturing and healthcare, necessitates the development of advanced robotic systems. Traditional robotic arms often struggle to meet the accuracy and repeatability required for precision work. This research focuses on designing a control system specifically tailored for robotic arms to enhance their performance in high-precision applications. The primary goal of this study is to develop an advanced control system for robotic arms that improves accuracy and reliability during precision tasks. The research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of various control algorithms in optimizing the performance of the robotic arm. A systematic approach was employed, utilizing simulation software to design and test different control strategies, including PID control and adaptive control methods. Performance metrics such as positional accuracy, response time, and stability were analyzed through a series of experiments conducted in both simulated and real-world environments. The implementation of the advanced control system resulted in significant improvements in the robotic arm's performance. The adaptive control method achieved a positional accuracy of 0.1 mm, with a response time reduction of 30% compared to traditional PID control. These findings demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control strategies in enhancing precision. The research successfully developed a robust control system for robotic arms, significantly improving their ability to perform high-precision tasks.

Abstract

The increasing demand for high-speed wireless communication has led to the exploration of alternative technologies beyond traditional Wi-Fi. Light Fidelity (Li-Fi) technology, which utilizes visible light for data transmission, presents a promising solution to enhance wireless communication capabilities while alleviating congestion in radio frequency spectrum. This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Li-Fi as an alternative wireless communication method. The study focuses on analyzing data transmission rates, coverage areas, and potential applications of Li-Fi technology in various environments. An experimental approach was employed, involving the design and implementation of a Li-Fi system using LED lights for data transmission. Performance metrics, including data throughput and signal stability, were measured under different lighting conditions and distances. Comparative analysis with traditional Wi-Fi systems was conducted to assess the advantages and limitations of Li-Fi. The findings indicated that Li-Fi technology achieved data transmission rates exceeding 1 Gbps under optimal conditions, significantly outperforming conventional Wi-Fi in terms of speed. Coverage was effective within a range of 10 meters, with stable performance in various indoor environments. The results highlight Li-Fi's potential for applications in high-density areas, such as offices and hospitals. Li-Fi technology emerges as a viable alternative for wireless communication, offering high-speed data transmission and reduced interference.

Abstract

The rapid adoption of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies by startups has intensified concerns related to data governance, privacy protection, and information security risks. This study investigates the effect of IoT data governance quality and data privacy policy on information security risk mitigation and customer trust in IoT-based startups in Bandung, Indonesia. Using a quantitative research approach, data were collected from 150 users of IoT-based startup services through a structured questionnaire measured on a Likert scale. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS 3). The results indicate that IoT data governance quality has a significant positive effect on information security risk mitigation. In addition, data privacy policy and information security risk mitigation both have significant positive effects on customer trust. Furthermore, information security risk mitigation partially mediates the relationship between IoT data governance quality and customer trust. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening data governance frameworks and implementing transparent privacy policies to reduce security risks and enhance customer trust. This study contributes to the growing body of literature on IoT governance and provides practical insights for startup managers and policymakers in fostering secure and trustworthy IoT-based business environments.
