Abstract

This article discusses the impact of boycotts on Vaseline products triggered by the Israel-Palestine conflict and the strategies that can be applied to address this issue. The prolonged conflict in Gaza and international support for Palestine have spurred boycott movements, including in Indonesia, as reflected in the Fatwa of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI). The primary focus of this research is on the methods of outreach and collaboration in managing the impact of boycotts on Vaseline products. The outreach method aims to educate both the company and consumers about the effects of boycotts and effective communication strategies. Collaboration with influencers and communities helps the company improve its brand image and strengthen its relationship with consumers. The results of this outreach indicate that while the company and consumers have gained a better understanding, strategic steps are still needed to improve brand image and effectively manage the impact of the boycott. The decline in sales and Unilever's stock price, which includes Vaseline products, highlights the tangible effects of the boycott, emphasizing the importance of communication strategies and positive campaigns to restore brand reputation and boost consumer trust

Abstract

This study aims to determine the significant effect of work performance, social security, and employee incentives on job satisfaction. This research was conducted using quantitative analysis. The population in this study numbered 35, with 35 samples taken. The sampling technique in this study used a total sampling technique. This study used secondary data obtained from questionnaires. Using the Multiple Regression Analysis methods, using SPSS 22. Based on the results of the first hypothesis test, it is known that the significant value of work performance is 3.894 > 2.03951. The variable of work performance has a substantial effect on the variable of employee job satisfaction. The second hypothesis shows that social security has an essential value of 0.477 < 2.03951 means that the social security variable has no significant effect on the employee job satisfaction variable. The third hypothesis shows a powerful employee incentive, namely 2.510 > 2.03951, meaning that the employee incentive variable significantly affects the employee job satisfaction variable. The fourth hypothesis shows a significant Fcount value of 20.093 compared to Ftable of 2.90 (20.093 > 2.90), meaning that work performance variables (X1), social security (X2) and employee incentives (X3) simultaneously (simultaneously) have a significant influence with variable employee job satisfaction.

Abstract

Islamic banking plays an increasingly vital role in promoting inclusive and Sharia-compliant financial services amid economic expansion in Indonesia. This study aims to examine the moderating effect of the ratio of broad money (RBM), as an indicator of financial deepening, on the relationship between Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and Islamic bank financing. Employing a quantitative research design, this study utilizes secondary time-series data and applies moderated regression analysis (MRA) across three models to evaluate the direct and interactive effects of GDP and RBM on Islamic bank financing. The findings reveal that while GDP positively influences Islamic bank financing, the inclusion of RBM as a moderating variable significantly strengthens this relationship, as demonstrated by the significance of the interaction term in the third model. This indicates that financial deepening, reflected in a higher RBM, enhances the capacity of Islamic banks to channel funds into the real economy during periods of economic growth. The study emphasizes the strategic importance of managing broad money supply to support Islamic finance performance and broader macroeconomic goals. Theoretically, the findings contribute to the understanding of how monetary aggregates interact with Islamic financial systems, while practically, they inform policymakers and Islamic financial institutions about the need to align monetary policies with the growth of Islamic banking. Future research should consider additional macroeconomic factors and a broader institutional context to further refine these insights.

Abstract

This study examines the level of transparency in the management of independent mosque funds in Medan City, North Sumatra, Indonesia, evaluates adherence to accountability principles, and provides actionable recommendations for improvement. Using a quantitative research approach, questionnaires and observations were used to collect data from mosque administrators, worshippers, and donors at the Al-Musabbihin Mosque. These instruments were designed to assess trust and participation in mosque activities. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Smart PLS 3.0, focusing on Outer and Inner Model evaluations. The results reveal that human resource (HR) competency, internal control systems, technological integration, stakeholder engagement, and compliance with financial management standards significantly impact transparency and accountability in mosque fund management. Additionally, organizational commitment amplifies the positive influence of HR competency and internal controls on these outcomes. The study highlights the critical need for ongoing HR development through targeted training and education to ensure effective and accountable fund management. Furthermore, establishing comprehensive internal control systems is essential to prevent fund misuse and build public trust. The findings demonstrate that transparent and accountable fund management fosters public confidence, optimizes resource utilization, and enhances the mosque’s capacity as a vibrant and empowered social institution.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how the Panjol Motorbike repair shop can increase customer engagement and sales in its workshop business through the use of Honda Motor ECU Remap. By using an effective customer engagement strategy, workshop businesses can increase customer loyalty, retain existing customers, and increase new sales opportunities. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method with data collection in the form of interviews and literature studies to strengthen the results of the writing. The results of the study show that the successful implementation of ECU remap at Bengkel Panjol increases customer engagement, satisfaction, and loyalty. However, sales at the Panjol Motorbike repair shop did not increase 100% due to the implementation of this ECU remap but from standard or daily services. The implementation of the remap has not fully increased workshop sales due to the lack of consumer understanding in suburban areas such as Tanjung Morawa. Several strategies, such as providing education to customers, conducting promotions, providing special packages to regular customers, and providing test drives and warranties can be carried out to increase customer engagement and sales in the future at the Tanjung Morawa District Panjol Workshop.

Aspects that are weaknesses of KM Sinar Bangun as a restoration mode of water transportation in Lake Toba include, among other things, the problem of incompatibility between the flow of ship visits and loading and unloading, problems with infrastructure and facilities in the port, problems with the age of port buildings. Based on the results of the SWOT analysis, it is concluded that the performance of Lake Toba Pier as a shipping facility on Lake Toba is in quadrant I with position (1.5; 2.25). The strategy for recovering water transportation modes after the KM Sinar Bangun tragedy occurred is an SO (strength opportunity) strategy. The SO strategy is strengthening the function of restoring the mode of transportation as a means of shipping and income for the local community, developing the Lake Toba area to maximize the function of restoring the mode of water transportation.
