Abstract

Human resources play a very important role in a company because humans are thedeterminant of the running of the company. One of the company's successes is measuredthrough employee performance. The higher the employee's performance, the higher thesuccess achieved by the company. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect ofcompensation and work motivation on employee loyalty and its impact on employeeperformance.The population in this study were employees of CV Al-Achwan. This research wasconducted by distributing questionnaires with a sample of 130 employees using simplerandom sampling method. The data analysis method used is multiple regression analysis.The data testing techniques used in this study include path analysis test, and sobel test totest the mediation effect.The results showed that giving compensation has a positive effect on employeeloyalty, work motivation has a positive effect on employee loyalty, compensation has apositive effect on employee performance, work motivation has a positive effect onemployee performance, employee loyalty has a positive and significant effect on employeeperformance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was determinate the influence between work climate on job satisfaction, influence between career development on job satisfaction, and the influences between job satisfaction on career commitment. In this study The research data was collected from 60 employees in 11 job functions that are not derived from the managerial class and still be productive on a vulnerable age. Questions is given by using a questionnaire distributed through random sampling technique which respondents were randomly selected using random numbers. After the questionnaire collected, data test technique used within a research by using the index value, validity index by factor analysis, regression, and Sobel Test to tested mediating effect by the program of PASW SPSS 18. The result indicated that the work climate and career development has positive and significant effect to job satisfaction and job satisfaction has positive and significant influence to career commitment. With the influence of 53,61% and 46,39% while the other can be influenced by other variables.

Abstract

This research aims to examine and analyze the effect of physical work environment, reward, and job characteristics on employees organization commitment of Hotel Grasia Semarang. Employee turnover data for Hotel Grasia over the past four years shows that the turnover rate is said to be unhealthy - on average, eight employees remain out of work. This data may indicate an employee organization commitment issue at Hotel Grasia. Therefore, Hotel Grasia must increase its employees' organizational commitment by taking into account the influencing variables such as those of Richard Steers (in Hadiyani, 2013) ie work environment, job characteristics, and organization as a whole including work rewards.Questionnaires were distributed to 105 employees with total sampling method. This research used software SPSS Statistic 23. The technique of data testing includes validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, t test, F test, coefficient determination, and multiple linear regression analysis.The results of this research indicate that physical work environment has positive and significant effect on employees organization commitment, reward has positive and significant impact on employees organization commitment, and job characteristic has positive and significant impact to employees organization commitment.

Abstract

The hotel business is a service that requires entrepreneurs to always provide the best service and performance at all times, twenty-four hours a day. When talking about service, it cannot be separated from what is called human resources. The most common problems in the hotel business are the level of performance and service that is not always optimal, and the high risk of turn over for employees. Employee engagement is one way to overcome these problems. Many factors can affect the level of employee engagement, including transformational leadership, applied organizational culture, and the level of emotional intelligence each employee has.The data analysis method used in this study is Structural Equation Modeling, which is estimated by the AMOS program. The study was conducted on employees of the MG SETOS Hotel Semarang. This study involved 127 respondents who were randomly selected through simple random sampling technique.This study examines the effect of transformational leadership and organizational culture on the level of employee engagement with emotional intelligence being its intervening variables. The results of this research indicate a positive influence between transformational leadership and organizational culture on emotional intelligence, the positive influence of transformational leadership and organizational culture on employee engagement,  and a positive influence between emotional intelligence on employee engagement. In conclusion, this research is able to prove the proposed hypothesis.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh kecerdasan emosional dan kepemimpinan pelayan terhadap kepuasan kerja dalam mempengaruhi kinerja. Penelitian ini dilakukan di STIE di Kota Semarang, responden yang digunakan sebanyak 130 dosen yang ada di STIE AKA, STIE SEMARANG dan STIE TOTALWIN. Dalam pengolahan data penelitian ini menggunakan SEM. Hasil yang didapat dari penelitian ini kecerdasan emosional tidak mampu memberikan pengaruh kepada kinerja. Kecerdasan emosional tidak berpengaruh kepada kepuasan kerja. Kepemimpinan pelayan berpengaruh positif  kepada kinerja. Kepemimpinan pelayan berpengaruh kepada kepuasan kerja serta kepuasan kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja.  Kata Kunci : Kecerdasan Emosional, Kepemimpinan Layanan, Kepuasan Kerja, Kinerja

Abstract

This paper is based upon research to study the development of women entrepreneurs in Indonesia with emphasis on motivation to begin small business (MSMEs) and digitalization strategies in doing their businesses. The research was based on a literature review and a small field survey of women holding small business (MSMEs) in Semarang. After analyzing the data from the interviews, many respondents stated that their early motivation in running their own businesses was as a means to get additional incomes in finance. Evidence shows that as entrepreneurs, dealing with digitalization is a thing that cannot be avoided in the new normal era. To optimize their business operations and revenue, some adjustments and strategies are conducted such as optimizing digital marketing, seeing business opportunities, creating innovations, creating new markets, and executing marketing plan.

The reason of this think about is to decide the influence of a few factors counting Competency, Remuneration, and Authority on Worker Execution. The question of this think about is a permanent employee of PT. Garuda Indonesia Jakarta. The methods used are Descriptive and Simple Regression Methods are used to test hypotheses. Respondents included in this consider as many as 108 employees. This study used saturated sampling method and data collection was conducted using questionnaires. The results showed that Recruitment partially has an affect on Performance, Compensation partially has an affect on Performance, and Leadership partially has an affect on employee performance.

Abstract

Encouraging students to become entrepreneurs can help alleviate the problem of the increasing number of unemployed in Indonesia due to the limited number of jobs, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. The main objective of this research is to find out what factors encourage students to become entrepreneurs. This research analyzes the effect of personal attitude, perceived behavioral control, and subjective norms on entrepreneurial intentions. An online survey was conducted to collect primary research data.  The total number of respondents of this study was 251, who were students majoring in Management and Business in Banten Province, Indonesia. Models and hypotheses are tested using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). SEM was considered to be a proper means for this analysis because the interpretive structural model involves multiple-path linkages between variables. The results of this study indicate that personal attitude and perceived behavior have a positive significant influence on entrepreneurial intention, while a relationship between subjective norm and entrepreneurial, was found to be a non-significant
