Abstract

Muh. Akbar, Communication Pattern of Leaders Towards tvPeduli Crew in Creating Work Comfort (Mr. Dr. Muhammad Saleh, M.Ag as the Main Supervisor and Mrs. Dr. Zulfa, M.Pd. as the Assistant Supervisor) TV Peduli is a local TV that is used as an information media and a forum for public participation, by presenting healthy, intelligent, and quality information and inspiration as well as a variety of local and national content. And where the human resources that must operate must be qualified so that they can provide shows like national TV and private TV. This research is a qualitative research that uses the Leaders and crew of TV Peduli as research sources and focuses on. Communication patterns of leaders towards TV Peduli crew in creating work comfort. The results of this study are communication patterns that refer to total channel patterns. This means a communication flow that ensures all group members can directly communicate with other members without intermediaries. Communication science views patterns: as communication flows that have several models and are influenced by several factors that are formed, one of which is from organizational policies and leadership models. The participatory leadership model provides a great opportunity for the formation of a total channel communication pattern. With this pattern, coordination is one of the things that becomes an added value so that in its implementation it can increase work comfort in an institution, including in the TV Peduli environment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze commognitive conflict in collaborative problem solving in high, medium, and low category subjects. The type of research used in this study is descriptive qualitative research. The place where this research was conducted was at SMA Negeri 1 Kuok. The subjects in this study were students of class XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Kuok, consisting of six students with a purposive sampling technique. The data analysis techniques used in this study were data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions/verification. After the data was analyzed, the data was validated using triangulation techniques, namely by comparing the results of students' diagnostic test answers to test questions and interview results with the subjects. From the results of the analysis that had been carried out, it was found that commognitive conflict in collaborative problem solving in high ability subjects was minimal. While in ability subjects, commognitive conflict in collaborative problem solving occurred, but not in all commognitive indicators. However, in low category subjects, commognitive conflict occurred in almost all indicators. Factors that cause commognitive conflict in collaborative problem solving are due to internal factors such as the subject not being used to reading questions, the subject does not understand the contents of the question, the subject does not know the formula or solution strategy in solving the question, is not careful in working on the question, etc.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance students' vocabulary mastery by proposing the Word Wall Web as a learning medium. The research employed a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design, incorporating pre-test and post-test evaluations. The participants consisted of 63 students, divided into two groups: a control class (n=32) and an experimental class (n=31). Students' understanding of pronouns, nouns, adjectives, and verbs was evaluated through 20 multiple-choice questions, covering various formats such as synonyms, antonyms, fill-in-the-blank, word substitution, and translation. The control class recorded an average pre-test score of 66.14, which increased to 72.26 in the post-test. In contrast, the experimental class exhibited a more substantial improvement, with an average pre-test score of 64.38, rising to 78.22 in the post-test. Statistical analysis of the post-test mean difference between the experimental and control groups yielded a p-value of 0.003, which is less than the significance level of 0.05, indicating a statistically significant difference at the 95% confidence level. Students in the experimental class who utilized the Word Wall Web demonstrated greater interest in learning, active participation, and improved vocabulary mastery compared to those in the control class. These results underscore the effectiveness of the Word Wall Web as a learning medium for enhancing students' vocabulary mastery.

Abstract

The current era's advancement is evident in the growth and application of technology across diverse domains of existence. In the current technological era, globalization's strong influence has caused social and economic changes in society. These changes have led to the emergence of new problems, prompting the government to direct its attention towards resolving existing issues, despite the possibility that some old societal problems remain unresolved. Therefore, a paradigm shift from community development to community empowerment is necessary for problem-solving in society. This shift involves the community directly analyzing and resolving all types of societal issues, leveraging the potential within the community environment. The challenges we faced in Banjaranyar Village were related to agriculture, specifically the low productivity of corn processing. This is a challenging problem to address, especially given the remote location of the hamlet. The Banjaranyar Village community exhibits a relatively low level of awareness regarding corn management. This can be proven by the demand for corn huskers as processing tools and then the relatively low production level without the tool, so this empowerment program is very necessary for the village community to educate the design and innovation results of tool development. The problem-solving framework used includes: The Analysis Model covers the tools used and the ideal body position. The Activity Model focuses on utilizing corn huskers to enhance productivity.
