Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi marketing dan branding terhadap lima brand kopi kekinian di Indonesia. Populasi dan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah unggahan Instagram dari lima brand kopi kekinian lokai, yaitu Kopi Kenangan, Kopi Janji Jiwa, Point Coffee, Fore Coffee, dan Kopi Lain Hati. Teori yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah teori marketing viral. Teori ini digunakan berdasarkan penelitian terdahulu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis kuantitatif dengan pengambilan data menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Penelitian ini menguji reliabilitas menggunakan dua coder, sesuai dengan coding book. Dengan adanya penelitian ini, diharapkan dapat membantu mereka yang mempunyai usaha kopi di Indonesia untuk menentukan strategi marketing yang tepat untuk usaha kopi mereka. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada artikel ini adalah dengan uji Chi-Square dan One Way. Setelah menganalisis, ditemukan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dalam jenis strategi marketing dan terdapat perbedaan dari engagement antara strategi marketing dan branding pada kelima brand kopi lokal.

Abstract

These days, society has started to accept discussions about sexual assault, instead of being judgmental towards the victim. For this reason, sexual assault became one of the many issues that is frequently talked about in media, one of them being movies. Realizing the differences in the perception towards women’s roles in an advanced country like the United States compared to a much more conservative country like Indonesia, therefore this quantitative content analysis research aims to discover and compare how sexual assault is represented in Indonesian and United States movies. The two main theories that construct this research’s theoretical framework is the social cognitive theory and script theory. The unit of analysis of this research is sexual assault scripts in movies. The research population consists of 5 Indonesian movies and 5 United States movies that brought up the sexual assault issue. The sample was determined using the purposive sampling technique. The results of this research show that even though there are some differences in the representation of sexual assault according to some indicators, there is no significant association between the variables and the countries who made the films.

Abstract

Pada awal tahun 2000-an hingga 2010-an, masalah yang menyangkut topik kesehatan mental meningkat terutama pada generasi Z. Musik rock merupakan salah satu intervensi yang dapat membantu masalah kesehatan mental tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mencari tahu banyaknya referensi masalah kesehatan mental dalam karya musik Radiohead dan juga melihat apakah ada trend linearitas dalam perkembangan referensi kesehatan mental. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan cara menganalisis jumlah referensi kesehatan mental yang terkandung dalam lirik lagu karya Radiohead. Teknik pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Peneliti menggunakan tahapan uji validitas dan reliabilitas antar-coder. Tahapan analisis data menggunakan analisis frekuensi, uji Cochran-Armitage for trends in linear proportion dan uji cross-tabulations menggunakan aplikasi SPSS. Hasil dari penelitian ini, dari 72 lagu ditemukan 56 lagu yang mengandung referensi kesehatan mental. Referensi kesehatan mental dalam karya musik Radiohead mengalami peningkatan pada tahun 2000 hingga 2003, namun menurun pada tahun 2011 hingga 2016. Referensi kesehatan mental tersebut juga berkaitan dengan faktor-faktor kontributor seperti kondisi universal, kehidupan romansa, dan wewenang otoritas.

Abstract

The fierce competition in the transport market makes the companies that operate in this land transport have many challenges to face, so Transport company PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) on land belongs to this country must have a way to be able to compete with several transportation companies that are on both those in the air and those at sea. On the land itself a lot of competitors ranging from buses, railways, travel, and private vehicles. Certainly to win the competition PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) needs a way such as promotion of revenue, brand image, and accurately assessed quality to be taken in order to compet not only in the sector of land transport but also with air and maritime transport. Researchers use descriptive methods with a quantitative approach where data collection uses questionnaires. The study's sample population is a S1 student who is on the island of Java. Double linear regression and a descriptive statistical test were employed in this study's data analysis. The study's findings demonstrated that only the brand image with intense purchase intent from the analysis results is known that brand image influences the inclination to make purchases, this is known from the value t (54) = 5,386;P<0,05, whereas the promotion of sales has no influence over buying interest, whereas t(54) = -1,267;P>0,05 and the quality perceived does not have an effect on purchase intent, where t(54 = 0,902;P >0,05. This proves that sales promotion does not affect purchasing interest and the perception of quality does not influence purchase intent.

Abstract

Community service activities in Cintaratu Pangandaran Village were carried out as an initial program to find out and map the things needed by people of Cintaratu Village in terms of health information, especially information about JKN-KIS PBI (Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional-Kartu Indonesia Sehat-Penerima Bantuan Iuran). Researchers want to see how information related to JKN-KIS PBI is obtained and understood by the people. This activity was carried out for about four weeks using three different methods, namely the survey method, focus group discussion (FGD), and observation. The results of this community service showed that the distribution of information and data in Cintaratu Village regarding JKN-KIS PBI is generally less transparent. The population data used by the central government as the basis for determining aid has been out of date so that aid has not been well-targeted. The people of Cintaratu Village got health information about JKN-KIS PBI by relying on opinion leaders, namely village officers, midwives, and health cadres. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat di Desa Cintaratu Pangandaran dilakukan sebagai program awal untuk mengetahui dan memetakan hal-hal yang dibutuhkan oleh masyarakat desa khususnya informasi seputar JKN-KIS PBI (Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional-Kartu Indonesia Sehat-Penerima Bantuan Iuran). Peneliti ingin melihat bagaimana informasi-informasi terkait JKN-KIS PBI didapat dan dipahami oleh masyarakat Desa Cintaratu. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan selama empat pekan menggunakan tiga metode yang berbeda yaitu metode survei, focus group discussion (FGD) dan observasi. Hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat ini menunjukkan bahwa distribusi informasi di Desa Cintaratu seputar JKN-KIS PBI secara umum kurang transparan. Data penduduk yang digunakan pemerintah pusat sebagai dasar penetapan bantuan telah kedaluwarsa sehingga bantuan menjadi tidak tepat sasaran. Masyarakat Desa Cintaratu mendapatkan informasi kesehatan seputar JKN-KIS PBI mengandalkan opinion leader yaitu aparat desa/dusun/RW/RT, bidan dan kader kesehatan.

Abstract

The use of smartphones creates problems of nomophobia and addiction among the younger generation. This study aims (a). to determine the effect of fear of not being able to communicate on smartphone addiction among students; (b). to determine the effect of fear of losing connectedness on smartphone addiction among students; (c). to determine the effect of fear of not being able to access information on smartphone addiction among students; and (d). to determine the effect of fear of not being able to communicate on smartphone addiction among students. This research is designed as a quantitative research with a survey approach. The population of this research is undergraduate students in West Java, while the sampling technique of this research is convenience sampling, and with a sample size of 123 samples. The research data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical tests using multiple linear regression tests. The results showed that overall the fear of not having a smartphone affects smartphone addiction among students. The nomophobia factors that influence dating include the fear of losing connectedness and the fear of losing convenience.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah ingin mengetahui bagaimana representasi body positivity pada akun Instagram. Media sosial merupakan kumpulan berbagai aplikasi berbasis internet yang beralaskan pada teknologi web 2.0. Instagram menjadi salah satu tempat dan wadah gerakan body positivity bergerak. Pada akun XYZ dan apakah terdapat hubungan antara nilai citra tubuh positif dengan nilai penampilan tubuh. Body positivity atau kepositifan tubuh adalah gabungan dari citra tubuh positif, kepercayaan diri, dan ditambah dengan penerimaan atas tubuh tersebut tanpa memandang bentuk serta ukuran. Tuntutan masyarakat mengenai standar kecantikan dan penampilan yang meliputi kulit putih, tubuh langsing, semampai, dan sebagainya seringkali menjadi sumber kecemasan serta kekhawatiran seseorang. Hal tersebut membuat banyak individu yang merasakan tidak percaya diri dan merasa dirinya tidak cukup.Dengan keresahan dan kekhawatiran ini muncul lah tren body positivity sebagai respon atas penerimaan atas tubuh dan penampilan tanpa memperhatikan bentuk dan ukurannya. Harapannya adalah meningkatnya kesadaran masyarakat terhadap penerimaan atas citra tubuh positif setiap individu tanpa ada standar yang tidak realistis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif analisis isi dengan uji frekuensi dan uji pearson correlation menggunakan aplikasi SPSS. Populasi penelitian ini adalah postingan pada Instagram XYZ dengan total sampel sebanyak 139 postingan dalam jangka waktu tertentu.

Abstract

Film since decades ago has become one of the media consumed by many people to fulfill various needs, from education to entertainment. However, in reality there are many films that feature acts of aggression, one of which is animated films. This study aims to determine what acts of aggression are shown in Disney animated films, whether there are acts of physical, verbal, and indirect aggression, how often acts of physical, indirect, and verbal aggression are shown, what acts of aggression are most often shown, and whether there is a difference in the amount of physical, indirect, and verbal aggression in Disney animated films. This research was conducted using a quantitative approach and content analysis method. All scenes in the Disney animated film Tangled and Luca, totaling 100 scenes, were used as population and samples. Data collection is done by using a coding book. The data that had been coded were analyzed using descriptive statistics and comparatively using the Kruskal Wallis test. This study found that there were acts of physical, indirect, and verbal aggression in Disney animated films with indirect aggression in the form of dirty stares as the most displayed acts of aggression. In addition, this study also found that there was no significant difference in the amount of physical, indirect, and verbal aggressions in Disney animated films.

Abstract

Online news portals are widely accessed by the public to get various information. There are two online news portals that are well known by the Indonesian people, namely Tempo.co and Kompas.com. Since 2019, those two news portals have not stopped providing information about the Covid-19 pandemic, especially regarding mental illness due to the pandemic. By using framing theory, this study aims to find out how the differences in the representation of mental illness on Tempo.co and Kompas.com. This study uses quantitative content analysis method to analyze texts on online news portal. Sampling was carried out using probability simple random sampling technique during the PSBB period in Jakarta, from April 10 to June 4, 2020. A sample of 65 news articles on Tempo.co and 100 news articles on Kompas.com were taken based on six keywords, those are “penyakit mental”, “penyakit jiwa”, “gangguan mental”, “gangguan jiwa”, “kesehatan mental”, and “kesehatan jiwa”. Data were analyzed using nonparametric statistical calculations chi square contingency coefficient. The results showed that there were differences in the representation of danger-to-self characteristic on Tempo.co and Kompas.com, but there were no differences in the representations of causes, solutions, and tone of articles on Tempo.co and Kompas.com.

Abstract

Information is known to have an influence on the formation of attitudes and behavior. The COVID-19 information on Instagram is inseparable, which of course has an impact on the recipients. Especially during this pandemic, many people have the intention of panic buying. This raises a question that is there a possibility that the information that is spread can affect a person's attitude and behavior, especially anxiety and panic buying intentions. This research aim to build a model and find out how the influence of exposure to COVID-19 information on Instagram builds anxiety and panic buying intentions. Elaboration Likelihood Model is used as a theory with a quantitative approach and survey method here. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires online to 454 sample respondents from the Bandung City student population. After the data is collected, the results are analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS 3.9. The findings from this study are that information consisting of information quality and source credibility has a significant influence. Anxiety is also known to have a significant influence on the formation of panic buying intentions. So, information exposure has an influence on the formation of panic buying intentions through anxiety.
