Abstract

Education is one indicator of a country's progress, because it has improved the quality of human resources. One of the Educational activities in the university is joint practicums to improve students' understanding of critical thinking patterns and values. The purpose of this practicum was to examine and analyze the ability of essential patterns of thinking, level of understanding of theory and method, and student learning outcomes as well in the study programme of Marine Science, Mulawarman University. Practicum activities were conducted in Malahing village, Bontang City in November 2022. A total of 52 students took part in the activities. All data in this activity were collected from initial critical thinking skills tests (pre-test) and after (post-test), score from practicum’s report, and participants' perceptual responses in the form of online questionnaires. It was found that the student's critical thinking skills in this activity were in the moderate category based on N-Gains score (0,46). In General, the percentage of understanding and student learning outcomes was in good category (71-84). Based on the student responses, about 92.3% of students were enthusiastic and happy with the practicum learning method. Thus, joint practicum activities might influence increasing student understanding and grades.

Abstract

International and national survey results categorize Indonesia as low in literacy skills. In order to improve literacy skills in schools, Kemdikbud launched the School Literacy Movement (GLS). To realize this goal, the Participatory Work Lecture (KKP) group of UIN Mataram were located in Duman Village, West Lombok implemented a basic literacy strengthening work program at SDN 2 Duman. The method used is participatory action research (PAR) which consists of problem identification, focus group discussion, implementation and evaluation. After the activities were carried out, the results obtained were an increase in students' basic literacy as shown by the ability to read, write and count for students who previously could not read, write and count. In addition, there was an increase in students' interest and motivation in reading, writing and counting. This activity also received a good response from students, teachers and the community with a satisfaction level percentage of 92.5%. Keywords: literacy, reading, writing, numeracy

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of BNI mobile banking service quality on customer satisfaction at PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. KK Boulevard Branch Office Makassar. The type of research used in this research is qualitative. With a sample of 100 respondents using convenience sampling technique and the analysis method used is simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that: the quality of BNI mobile banking services (X1) has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction at PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero), Tbk. KK Bouluvard Branch Office Makassar.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the distribution, species composition and density of seagrass vegetation in the coastal waters of Bontang City, East kalimantan, spread across four disticnt locations, each with varying proximities to industrial areas and the beach. Sampling was conducted during the lowest tide, utilizing three 140 m transect lines at each site, directed towards the deeper reef shore, and spaced 200m apart, with seagrass vegetation sampling points marked at 20m intervals. A 1 x 1 m⁅ ⁆⁅2⁆⁅ ⁆2 aluminum wire frame was employed to assess the species composition, density, and distribution pattern of the seagrasses, following which the samples were identified. The characterization of each research location, based on substrate characteristics, was executed using Principal Component Analysis (PCA), while Correspondence Analysis (CA) with MINI-TAB 14 software was utilized to determine the relationship between substrate characteristics and seagrass species distribution at various locations. The study found a significant difference in seagrass abundance at one location compared to the others. The results revealed that E. acoroides exhibited H' = 2.9530 and E' = 0.7117. Subsequent tests yielded values of Location C = 7.0476, Location B = 6.8776, Location A = 4.2319, and Location D = 2.9105, and an LSD value = 1.586. This indicated that Location C did not significantly differ from Location B, yet was significantly different from the remaining locations. The research underscores the influence of substrate quality and proximity to industrial areas on seagrass distribution and density.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai moral dalam novel Lantak La Karya Beri Hanna. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah nilai-nilai moral apa saja yang terdapat dalam Novel Lantak La Karya Beri Hanna. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah buku novel Lantak La Karya Beri Hanna. Data dalam penelitian ini didapat dari kata-kata, frasa, dan klausa. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian menggunakan teknik pustaka. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) nilai moral yang terkandung dalam hubungan antara manusia dengan dirinya sendiri, (2) nilai moral yang terkandung dalam hubungan manusia dengan sesama manusia, (3) nilai moral yang terkandung dalam hubungan antara manusia dengan alam semesta, dan (4) nilai moral yang terkandung pada hubungan antara manusia dengan tuhan. Novel Lantak La Karya Beri Hanna dapat dijadikan terobosan sebagai materi pengajaran alternatif yang memiliki tujuan untuk memberikan bantuan kepada peserta didik dalam meningkatkan kemampuan dalam mengeksplorasi, mengidentifikasi, serta memahami nilai-nilai moral yang ada pada novel. Hasil penelitian dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber rujukan atau pedoman bagi peneliti lain yang ingin meneliti pada penelitian yang sama dengan kajian yang sama pula atau dengan kajian yang berbeda serta dapat dijadikan referensi bacaan yang akan membantu mereka dalam pemahaman dan penafsiran nilainilai moral yang relevan pada siatusi kehidupan sehari-hari.Kata kunci: nilai moral, novel

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of internal audit on the prevention and detection of misuse of financial statements. The variable object of this study is PT Tiga Pilar Sejahtera. Misuse of financial statements can harm stakeholders and damage the integrity of the company. Therefore, the role of internal audit is considered important in ensuring the reliability and validity of financial information presented by the company. This research contributes to an understanding of the important role of internal audit in securing the integrity of a company's financial statements and provides recommendations for similar companies to strengthen their internal control systems. The practical implication of this study is the importance of companies to pay special attention to the internal audit function to reduce the risk of misuse of financial statements that can harm the company and its stakeholders. This article is a quantitative descriptive using secondary data.

Abstract

The problem in this research is how to apply the KWL (Knowing, Wanting, Learning) strategy to the reading comprehension skills of fifth grade students at SDN Pacinonggang Unggulan, Gowa Regency. This research aims to determine the effect of the KWL Strategy (Knowing, Wanting, Learning) on ​​the reading comprehension skills of class V at the superior Pacciongang Elementary School, Gowa Regency. The type of research used is an experiment in the form of a design experiment using a one group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this research was 25 class V students at SDN Pacciongang Unggulan Gowa Regency. Data collection was carried out using the results of the written assessment results. The data obtained was then explained using statistical analysis techniques, namely descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. After analyzing the data, the author found that student learning outcomes before using the outdoor learning learning method were relatively low, namely the average value of the Pretest results was 1,218, then the average value Posttest result is 1.984. After obtaining Tcount 10.5648 and Ttable 2.06390, we get tCount > tTable or 10, 5648 > 2.06390. Based on the results of tCount and tTable, it can be concluded that the use of the KWL (Know, Want, Learned) strategy on class students' reading comprehension ability V Pacciongang Primary School, Gowa Regency.

Abstract

This simple experiment is entitled analysis of students' interest in learning physics towards online learning which aims to analyze students' learning interest in online learning in physics lessons. This type of research is a qualitative research with a case study approach. The research sample was 136 students of SMA Negeri 15 Wajo who were randomly selected from the seven classes X, XI and XII MIPA. The results showed that the lowest percentage of the indicator of interest in learning physics was the attention of students to learning physics online, while the highest percentage was the indicator of interest in learning, namely the involvement of students in learning physics online. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the learning interest of students at the beginning of online physics learning can be categorized as good and has considerable involvement during learning, but over time, students' interest in learning physics online decreases due to boredom and boredom. begin to be felt by students

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of cash management, receivables management and inventory management on the financial stability of food and beverage sub-sector companies listed on the IDX for the 2021-2023 period. The type of research is quantitative descriptive with the type of data used in this study is seconds data and data sources in the form of company financial statements published annually by each company. The sampling technique of this study was carried out through purposive sampling with predetermined criteria. The data analysis technique in this study uses classical assumption tests and also multiple linear regression methods. In the hypothesis test, a partial test (t-test), a simultaneous test (f-test) and a determination coefficient were used. The results of this study show that the influence of cash management, receivables management and inventory management on the financial stability of food and beverage sub-sector companies listed on the IDX for the 2021-2023 period partially or simultaneously has a non-significant effect. The value of the determination coefficient that is still influenced by other variables. This research was assisted by using the Statistic for Social Science (SPSS) version 26 application to determine the level of significance of each hypothesis.

This journal was prepared using library research methods, by collecting and analyzing material from various books.
