Abstract

Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET) is a stand-alone wireless network, consisting of several nodes that can move in all directions freely. The routing protocol used as the object of this study is Ad Hoc On-Demand Multipath Distance Vector (AOMDV). This research carries out an energy calculation process at a node that can be used as a new energy-based route by utilizing topology changes. Energy efficiency in the routing protocol can be done using the Energy-Aware SHORT (Self Healing and Optimizing Routing Techniques) method. The main purpose of the Energy-Aware SHORT (EA-SHORT) algorithm is to save energy on MANET, by extending the life of nodes and networks by routing packets through nodes that have enough remaining power and avoiding nodes that have low power. AOMDV performance will be compared with AOMDV which has been modified with EA-SHORT measured from the specified parameter values. Analysis results show that the application of the EA-SHORT algorithm in the efficiency of route search succeeded in improving performance. The results of throughput on EA-AOMDV increased by 13.904% for an area of ​​500x500 m2 and 13.905% at 1000x1000 m2. The packet delivery ratio increased by 0.91% and 2.273%. Average end-to-end delay decreased by 20.482% and 18.734%.

Abstract

VANET is a subset of Mobile Adhoc Network (MANET) that utilizes wireless technology, which in the VANET network the node is presented as a vehicle and the route for a vehicle is presented as a highway that will be passed by that vehicle. In general, VANET has 3 classification routing protocols, namely reactive, proactive, and hybrid. Performance of routing protocol is greatly influenced by the propagation model. Propagation on the network is the behavior of radio waves, which in this case is used as a transmission medium from the transmitter to the destination (receiver). This research will analyze the variation of propagation models namely FreeSpace, TwoRayGround, Shadowing, and Nakagami on the performance of AOMDV (reactive), OLSR (proactive), and ZRP (hybrid). The performance of the routing protocol will be tested using test parameters including Packet Delivery Ratio (PDR), Packet Loss, End to End Delay, and Throughput. Abstract

Mental health problems in children, such as stress, anxiety, or depression are real and these problems are as important as physical health problems, but many children do not get the care they need so an artificial intelligence technology such as an expert system can help diagnose the disorder mentally in children early. This research developed an expert system to diagnose mental disorders in children using the mobile-based Forward Chaining and Certainty Factor method that diagnoses 7 types of mental disorders in children from 46 symptoms obtained based on the knowledge of 3 experts. Based on the results of the black box testing states that the expert system that was built has had compatibility in terms of functionality. The results of the theoretical calculation test states that the calculation system of an expert diagnosis of a child's mental disorder is in accordance with the results of calculations done manually. In testing the accuracy of the system from 30 cases tested on 3 experts, the expert system that was built succeeded in producing system accuracy values ​​based on the final belief value of the three experts, based on the belief values ​​of experts 1, 2, and 3, respectively 91.11%, 96.67%, 96.67% and 80%. Furthermore, the results of MOS testing conducted on 35 respondents produce MOS of 4.12 from a scale of 5 where based on that value the expert system built is categorized into a good system.

Abstract

Penyakit pada hewan kambing terdiri dari dua jenis yaitu penyakit menular dan tidak menular. Penyakit padahewan perlu dilakukan penanganan yang tepat terutama penyakit menular agar tidak dapat menular pada ternak lain.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun sistem pakar yang berbasis Android untuk mendiagnosis 14 jenis penyakitpada kambing berdasarkan pengetahuan 3 orang pakar hewan dengan menggunakan metode Forward Chaining sebagaimetode inferensi dan Certainty Factor sebagai metode perhitungan untuk mendapatkan nilai densitas atau tingkatkepercayaan dari hasil diagnosis penyakit pada kambing. Penelitian ini menggunakan empat jenis pengujian yaituberupa pengujian blackbox, pengujian kuisioner (MOS), pengujian teoritis dan pengujian akurasi sistem. Dari pengujianakurasi sistem yang dilakukan, didapatkan nilai akurasi berdasarkan bobot rata-rata 3 orang pakar sebesar 85.55%,sedangkan pengujian akurasi menggunakan bobot masing-masing pakar diperoleh hasil 86.66% untuk pakar 1, 83.33%untuk pakar 2, dan 86.66% untuk pakar 3. Untuk pengujian MOS (Mean Opinion Score) didapatkan hasil sebesar 4.35dari skala 5, serta pengujian perhitungan teoritis yang mendapatkan hasil perhitungan sama antara hasil perhitungandiagnosis sistem dan diagnosis pakar. Berdasarkan hasil perngujian maka sistem pakar diagnosis penyakit pada kambingini layak digunakan dan dikategorikan ke dalam sistem yang baik.

Abstract

Short Message Service (SMS) has evolved in the last few decades. The simplicity of SMS makes this short message service attractive to use as a direct communication service on mobile devices. As the popularity of this service increases, it also harms attacks on mobile devices such as SMS spam. Spam SMS are short messages that the recipient doesn't want, such as advertisements and scams. Spam SMS can overwhelm your inbox and make your mobile device experience less good. One way to overcome this problem is to implement a machine learning model to automatically recognize and filter Spam SMS. This research aims to build a machine learning model that provides higher accuracy for detecting SMS spam in Indonesian using the TF-IDF method and the Stochastic Gradient Descent Classifier. Based on the test results, the model built can detect SMS spam and not spam with an accuracy of 97%.

Abstract

Marine animals are very susceptible to decay. The traditional method that is often used to distinguish the freshness of squid by local people is from the body color and smell of the squid. This method is very simple but has many shortcomings in distinguishing freshness from squid. The drawback of this method lies in the understanding and level of accuracy of each person who is different. So it is necessary to create a system that can distinguish the freshness level of squid automatically only from the image of the squid. In this study, a system model was developed that can classify the freshness level of squid using the Support Vector Mahine (SVM) method. The GLCM and histogram methods as well as the HSI color space are used for texture and color feature extraction. This study uses three types of classification. The total data used in this study are 360 body images of squid that have been cropped and resized by 128 x 128 pixels for the treatment type class. The total data for the freshness class with three types of classes is 495 and the total data for the freshness class with two types of classes is 330. In this study, the process of cropping, augmentation, resizing and conversion of color space in the dataset was carried out. The distribution of training data and test data is 70:30. The highest accuracy obtained is 67.75%.

Abstract

The Sasak script is one of the cultural heritage of the Sasak people on the island of Lombok. But lately, the Sasak script has begun to be rarely used among the Sasak people, especially among the younger generation. If this continues, the existence of the Sasak script is threatened with extinction. One of the efforts in preserving the Sasak script is digitizing the Sasak script to digital technology devices by utilizing Unicode. In this research, the author will make an android-based transliteration application and develop a rule-based algorithm that refers to the rules of the Sasak script. The string replacement method with hexadecimal addressing derived from the UTF-16 Unicode is used to adjust the Latin characters with the writing rules of the Sasak script. Digital writing of the Sasak script using 47 symbols from Unicode Balinese block on “1B00-1B7F”. To transliterate Latin script into the Sasak script, the author has developed 1704 rule-based rules to apply all the rules of writing the Sasak script. The accuracy test towards on 3 data sources, namely testing of street signage in Mataram City obtained an accuracy value of 97.20% from 250 data test, testing of "Bali-Indonesian Latin and Balinese script" dictionary obtained an accuracy value of 96,375 from 800 data test, and testing of Lontar Doyan Neda (Dewi Anjani) obtained an accuracy value of 65.33% from 600 data test. So that the overall accuracy obtained is 85.39% from 1650 data test.

Abstract

Natural disasters such as earthquake often cause cracks in buildings and even demolish them. The cracked building must be assessed by an expert to determine whether the building is still suitable for use or not. The feasibility of a building is assessed based on the width, depth, and length of cracks in walls, beams, columns, and even the floor of the building. Only experienced experts can do such kind of task so that building assessment requires many structural engineering experts when an earthquake has happened. However, structural engineering experts are limited which able to do buildings assessment in the area affected. Therefore, the research based on a pattern recognition approach is conducted to classify cracks in buildings to be mild, moderate, or severe. It will be part of automatic building assessment based on the crack analysis. An alternative pattern recognition approach for classifying buildings cracks is a scheme based on zoning and shape features and Quadratic discriminant analysis (QDA) classifier. Based on the experimental results the proposed scheme gives reasonable achievement more than 80% of accuracy.

Abstract

Lembaga Penyedia Jasa Konstruksi (LPJK) NTB merupakan cabang LPJK nasional yang berada di provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat. Sistem verifikasi berkas dan pemberian nomor registrasi badan usaha di LPJK sejauh ini masih secara konvensional yaitu berupa pencatatan manual. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan sistem untuk melakukan pencatatan verifikasi berkas dan pemberian nomor registrasi badan usaha dalam bentuk digital menggunakan website dengan PHP dan basis data MySQL.. Hasil pengujian Black Box menunjukkan fungsional sistem dapat berjalan dengan baik sesuai yang diharapkan sementara hasil pengujian kuisioner menunjukkan bahwa pegawai yang setuju dan sangat setuju dibuatnya aplikasi ini masing-masing bernilai 50% dan 50%. Yang artinya system ini sudah cukup layak untuk diterapkan.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi dari waktu ke waktu begitu pesat sehingga membuat pekerjaan manusia dipermudah dengan adanya teknologi saat ini, dalam perkembangannya, saat ini banyak perusahaan maupun instansi pemerintahan yang menggunakan komputer untuk membantu pekerjaan manusia. Lembaga Pengembangan Jasa Konstruksi Provinsi NTB merupakan salah satu instansi yang menggunakan teknologi sebagai sarana untuk mempermudah tugas dan kewajibannya. Saat ini tugas intansi dalam proses registrasi sertifikasi masih dilakukan secara terpisah pada bagian verifikasinya, sehingga kurang efektif dalam proses sertifikasinya. Dengan adanya permasalahan tersebut, maka dibuatlah sebuah sistem informasi sertifikasi tenaga kerja dan badan usaha berbasis website dengan perancangan sistesm menggunakan metode waterfall yang diharapkan dapat membantu pegawai dalam proses pendataan serta pemantauan terhadap proses sertifikasi. Pengujian dilakukan pada pihak Lembaga Pengembangan Jasa Konstruksi Provinsi NTB dengan uji Black-box dan metode Mean Opinion Score (MOS) yang memiliki hasil bahwa 93% responden setuju bahwa sistem informasi yang dibuat dapat membantu pegawai dan telah berjalan dengan baik.
