Abstract

 Effort to reduce the high dependence of farmers on inorganic fertilizers is introducing compost as soil conditioner. The objectives of this research are to create enriched granular-compost (EGC) and to test its effect on nutrient availability, plant growth, and grain yield in intensive farming systems. The research was conducted in two consecutive years (2011-2012), consisting of three steps: production of EGC, incubation and field experiment. Incubation experiment was designed by randomized complete design with 5 treatments (control, 4, 6, 8, and 12 Mg ha-1), and the design of field experiment was randomized block design with 7 treatments (control, inorganic fertilizer (IF), 25% EGC + 75% IF, 50% EGC + 50% IF, 75% EGC + 25% IF, 100% EGC + 100% IF and 100% EGC). The results showed that application of EGC increased total-N and P-available 12.5% and 33% respectively on the 10th day after incubation. The highest grain yield (6.13 Mg ha-1) was gained from the application of 100% EGC + 100% IF. The productivity of rice is closely related to the number of productive panicles per plant (r = 0.507*) and percent of filled grain (r = 0.685*).  Keywords: enriched granular-compost, nutrient availability, grain yield

Abstract

In Indonesia, amount of biodiversity could be found including soil microorganism which were useful for sustainable agriculture. Everything lives in agricultural land were interacts and influences each others. Many factors of biotic and a-biotic environment such as land and climate fluctuation influences microbial expansion within the soils. For example arbuscular mycorrhiza (AM) which was formed by myches (fungus) and root of higher plant maybe fluctuated in the expansion due to the soil tillage. Land management and the present higher plant affected its growth and expansion. Mycorrhizae spores as one of the important generative form of various species in the difference host plant. The implication of different host plant often close related to the soil management and properties. Soil sample that was collected from various host plant in the fields or bare land have been found varied spores. Andisols and its properties conserve higher organic matter relatively and developed in the cold temperature, therefore very suitable for AM expansion and also as natural resources stock of AM potentially.Keywords: arbuscular mycorrhiza, andisols, soil tillage, AM colonization

Abstract

Abstract: Lately rampant cases of radical in the name of religion. One of the highlights is the government especially who takes care of education. In the prevention of radical understanding, the government continues to promote character education. Character education has basic guidelines from the 1945 Constitution, Pancasila, Bhinneka Tunggal Ika, and NKRI, and on the basis of Religion. One of the institutions that characterize character education as a deradicalization effort is Ponpes Hidayatul Mubtadi’in Salatiga. There are taught various character education through teaching, role model, and practice. With a strong character education then alumni of education at salaf pesantren will be far from radical understanding Abstrak: Akhir-akhir ini marak kasus-kasus radikal yang mengatasnamakan agama. Salah satu yang menjadi sorotan adalah pemerintah terutama yang mengurusi pendidikan. Dalam pencegahan paham radikal, pemerintah terus menggalakkan pendidikan karakter. Pendidikan karakter mempunyai dasar pedoman dari UUD 1945, Pancasila, Bhinneka Tunggal Ika, dan NKRI, serta dengan dasar dari Agama. Salah satu instansi yang mengedapankan pendidikan karakter sebagai upaya deradikalisasi adalah Ponpes Hidayatul Mubtadiin Salatiga. Disana diajarkan berbagai macam pendidikan karakter melalui pengajaran, suri tauladan, dan praktik yang dilakukan. Dengan adanya pendidikan karakter yang kuat maka alumni pendidikan di pesantren salaf akan jauh dari paham radikal.

Abstract

Nitrogen (N) fertilization in coffee agroforestry system requires proper management to increase N use efficiency (NUE) and minimize N losses. This study investigated the impact of different fertilization management on N losses, N uptake, and N storage in a coffee-based agroforestry system. The study was conducted using three types of fertilizer (organic, inorganic, and mixture of organic-inorganic) with three doses (low, medium, and high), and a control treatment (no fertilization), with 3 replications. Soil leachate was collected using lysimeter at 50 cm depth (below coffee root zone) and gas emissions were collected monthly using chamber for 4 months. Soil sample at 0-20 cm depth and leaf sample were also collected. The variables included NH₄⁺ and NO₃ˉ concentration in the leachate and soil, soil N total, N uptake, N emission, N use efficiency (NUE) and partial N balance. Results showed no significant differences in N leaching or plant N uptake across treatments. However, the mixed fertilizer with high dose treatment significantly increased soil N availability while reducing N₂O emissions and improving the overall N balance. This suggests that a high dose mixed fertilizer application can enhance N utilization in coffee-based agroforestry systems, potentially improving productivity while minimizing environmental impacts. Keywords: Agroforestry, Fertilization, Nitrogen balance, Nitrogen loss, Nitrogen storage.

Abstract

Mobile banking is one of the banking services that is integral to everyone's daily activities. However, sometimes its use experiences various obstacles, whether it is from the system, service, or information. This study aims to analyze the effect of system quality, information quality, and service quality on mobile banking user satisfaction. Using a quantitative approach and survey design, this study collected data through questionnaires distributed to mobile banking users. Regression analysis was used to identify the relationship and impact of each factor on user satisfaction. The results showed that system quality, information quality, and service quality have a significant influence on the level of user satisfaction. The findings emphasize the importance for banks to focus on continuous improvement in these aspects to enhance user experience and ensure high customer loyalty. This research provides valuable insights for the banking industry in designing more effective strategies to optimize mobile banking services.

Abstract

Manajemen logistik merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam kegiatan operasional perusahaan. Oleh karena itu, kompetensi manajemen logistik perlu dimiliki oleh siswa SMK jurusan manajemen perkantoran dan layanan bisnis. Namun, hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi manajemen logistik siswa SMK Negeri 9 Semarang masih belum optimal. Pengabdian masyarakat unggulan prodi ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi manajemen logistik siswa SMK Negeri 9 Semarang. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan kepada guru dan siswa SMK Negeri 9 Semarang. Pelatihan dan pendampingan ini meliputi materi-materi dasar manajemen logistik, seperti perencanaan logistik, pengadaan logistik, penyimpanan logistik, transportasi logistik, dan pengendalian logistik. Pengabdian masyarakat unggulan prodi ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru SMK Negeri 9 Semarang dalam bidang manajemen logistik. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan metode Forum Group Discussion serta pemberian literatur untuk acuan kurikulum kedepannya . Upaya peningkatan kompetensi manajemen logistik siswa SMK jurusan Manajemen Perkantoran Dan Layanan Bisnis dapat dilakukan melalui pelatihan dan diskusi oleh dosen maupun praktisi kepada guru SMK Negeri 9 Semarang. Kesimpulannya, Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas kompetensi guru SMK Negeri 9 Semarang dalam kurikulum Manajemen Perkantoran Dan Layanan Bisnis, sehingga para siswa lulusan SMK Negeri 9 Semarang siap untuk memasuki dunia kerja.
