Barokah Tani.

Abstract

The current development of marketing has been experiencing growth over time. Every activity carried out by marketing efforts results in impacts or risks. Assessing marketing activity risks allows marketers to control and monitor each risk and ultimately achieve their company's strategies. This research aimed to analyze the marketing risks of organic rice in Kediri Regency and formulate risk mitigation strategies for marketing organic rice in Kediri Regency. Expert respondents in this study were seven individuals selected through a census method who were organic rice marketers in the Kediri Regency. This study used nine marketing risk variables and 22 marketing risk indicators. The methods employed included Fuzzy Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FFMEA) and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). FFMEA aimed to identify risks and provide risk assessments, while AHP aimed to determine alternative strategies for marketing risks. The results of the study showed that the highest priority risk levels and marketing risks included uncertainty in organic rice demand, price competition, limitations in sales areas, consumers' lack of familiarity with the target product, limited knowledge about sustainable technology, sorting practices that did not meet standards, packaging that affected product durability, minimal knowledge related to digital payments, and lack of partnership information. Nine strategies were proposed to minimize the existing risks, namely expanding digital marketing channels, offering product bundles, strengthening sales through cooperation with local stores, creating promotional media, conducting marketing management training, optimizing existing processes, improving packaging quality according to standards, financial planning related to business development, and improving information flow between partnerships.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of production factors, social capital, and socio-demographic on the productivity and welfare of farmers in Klampok Village, Kapas District, Bojonegoro Regency. Utilizing a quantitative method with a likert scale for measuring variables, the research employs Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) for data analysis. Data was collected from 52 respondents determined based on the total farming population in Klampok Village, ensuring statistical adequacy for analysis. The findings indicate that production factors, social capital, and socio-demographic variables significantly impact both the productivity and welfare of farmers. The highest mean value was found for experience variable, suggesting a high level of respondent agreement. Conversely, income variable recorded the lowest mean value but within a satisfactory range. The study contributes to the understanding of how these factors collectively enhance farmers' living standards, with productivity serving as a moderating variable in achieving welfare. The research underscores the importance of optimizing production factors, social capital, and demographic aspects through policy development and program implementation to improve farmers' welfare. The results are expected to inform policymakers, agricultural practitioners, and the community about the critical factors enhancing the livelihood of farmers, and program implementation to improve farmers' welfare. Keywords: Farmer’s Welfare, Production Factors, Productivity, Social Capital, Socio-Demographic Factors.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of sensing ability, seizing ability, reconfiguring capability, and innovation performance on sustainable competitive advantage (SCA) of the Excelsa Coffee Bean Processing Industry in Bojonegoro. Data was collected through questionnaires that have been tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS software. The results show that these four variables have a positive and significant influence on SCA. Sensing ability plays a role in detecting market changes, while seizing ability allows companies to take advantage of existing opportunities. Reconfiguring capability helps companies adjust resources to stay competitive, and innovation performance is a key factor in creating new ideas that are relevant to the market. The study also found that innovation performance mediates the influence of sensing ability and seizing ability on SCA, making it a key catalyst in turning market potential into competitive advantage. This finding has important implications for the industry, namely the need to improve sensing, seizing, reconfiguring, and innovation performance. Stakeholders, such as local governments and supporting institutions, are also expected to play a role in helping the industry through policies that support this capacity building. Keywords: Performance innovation, Reconfiguring capabilities, Seizing ability, Sensing ability, Sustainable competitive advantage.

Abstract

Agrotourism includes a reciprocal relationship between cultivated and non-biological elements that can be managed for tourism activities, so that natural characteristics determine the sustainability of the developed agrotourism. However, there are still problems in the field that raise questions about the sustainability status of agro-tourism, especially regarding four dimensions, including ecology, economy, socio-culture, and infrastructure. This study aims to analyze the variables affecting the sustainability of agrotourism in Taman Pinggir Nggawan and the sustainable development strategy of agro-tourism. The analysis method used is a quantitative analysis instrument (SEM-PLS application) and to find a development strategy, a qualitative analysis instrument (SWOT) will be used. The results show that the agro-tourism management of Taman Pinggir Nggawan towards community based sustainability (CBT) revealed a constructive and significant effect on community welfare and sustainability performance of the tourism business. This is in line with the findings observed in the field that based on the order of priority in the results of the leverage analysis, it can be seen that the change in the shape of the root mean square (RMS) of the coordinates on the X axis. Keywords: Agrotourism, Sustainability, Dimensions, Instruments, SWOT.

Abstract

While the company is anonymized as “X Company” in the title, the empirical context of this study focuses on Starbucks Indonesia, where the rise of social media has amplified the impact of boycott movements through electronic word of mouth (e-WOM). This study examines the influence of anti-genocide digital campaign on consumer satisfaction in Malang City by analyzing: (1) the directly effect of e-WOM, religiosity, boycott, and brand image on boycott, brand image, and customer satisfaction (2) the influence of e-WOM and religiosity on customer satisfaction through brand image, and (3) the influence of e-WOM and religiosity on customer satisfaction through boycotts and brand image. The research employed a quantitative method using a Likert-based questionnaire, involving 64 respondents. Data analysis was conducted using SEM-PLS with SmartPLS 4.0 software. The results indicate that brand image has a positive and significant effect on consumer satisfaction, while e-WOM and religiosity have a significant positive effect on boycotts. However, e-WOM and boycotts have a significant negative impact on consumer satisfaction, while e-WOM has a positive effect on brand image. In contrast, religiosity does not significantly impact consumer satisfaction, nor does religiosity have a significant influence on boycotts or brand image. Additionally, negative e-WOM encourages boycotts, which harm brand image and reduce consumer satisfaction. These findings underscore the importance for companies, particularly Starbucks Indonesia, to closely monitor negative e-WOM, with a focus on upholding moral and religious values. As well as strengthening the brand image. Future research should consider consumer loyalty as a dependent variable, future explore religiosity dimensions, and expand the study to other industries. This study provides valuable insight for academics and businesses regarding the interplay between e-WOM, religiosity, and boycotts.
