Abstract

This study aimed to determine the role of group-based parenting support training with the psychoeducational method in improving the well-being of parents having children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) during the pandemic. The participants were 10 parents divided into the psychoeducational group and 12 parents in the control group in one State Special School for Autism in Medan. The instrument used a scale based on seven aspects of subjective well-being, as expressed by White (2010). Furthermore, data analysis was carried out using an independent sample t-test. The results showed that there was no difference in the well-being score between the psychoeducational and control group (F (1,20) = 0.445, t = -0.446, p > 0.05). Meanwhile, the control group had higher well-being score in the post-test (n = 12, M = 103.17, SD = 16.596) than the psychoeducational group (n = 10, M = 100.20, SD = 14.148).

Abstract

Pengertian membolos adalah suatu tindakan yang dilakukan oleh siswa dalam bentuk pelanggaran tata tertib sekolah atau meninggalkan sekolah pada jam pelajaran tertentu, meninggalkan pelajaran dari awal sampai akhir guna menghindari pelajaran efektif tanpa ada keterangan yang dapat diterima oleh pihak sekolah atau dengan keterangan palsu. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan menggunakan subyek yang disebut informan yaitu guru BK, dan siswa kelas XII MAN 3 Medan. Sumber data primer adalah guru BK, dan siswa. Sumber data sekunder adalah buku-buku atau hasil penelitian terdahulu yang dapat memberikan informasi terkait dengan judul penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Dari hasil penelitian ini, dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa guru BK sangat berperan penting dalam membimbing dan memberi arahan untuk siswa agar siswa tidak membolos. Tidak hanya guru BK, guru kelas dan orang tua juga dituntut untuk berperan aktif mengawasi dan membimbing siswa agar tidak melakukan perilaku membolos.

Abstract

This research article discusses academic stress that occurs in the lives of students during the pandemic and the alleged role of smartphones as the impact of stress they face. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of academic stress on smartphone addiction in MTs NII students in Medan City. Quantitative is the method used in this research. A total of 170 students were selected as subjects with quota sampling technique. Data were collected using the academic stress scale and the smartphone addiction scale. The data that has been collected is then analyzed using a linear regression analysis test. The results of this study found that there was a significant influence between academic stress on smartphone addiction. Data calculation analysis was performed using the SPSS 25 statistical program for Windows. The results prove that there is a significant relationship between Academic Stress and Smartphone Addiction, then from the analysis carried out there is a value (R: 0.602 and P: 0.000 <0.050). The contribution of the influence of academic stress on smartphone addiction in MTs NII students in Medan is 60.2 percent.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali peran Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling terhadap karir siswa di sekolah. Guru Bimbingan Konseling memiliki peran krusial dalam kematangan karir siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah 1) mengidentifikasi upaya Bimbingan Karir oleh Guru BK, 2) menilai efektivitas kinerja Guru BK dan program bimbingan konseling di sekolah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Kualitatif dengan pendekatan Fenomenologis. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 5 Guru BK yang berasal dari sekolah di Kecamatan Babalan, yaitu SMA Negeri 1 Babalan, SMA Negeri 1 Sei Lepan, SMP Negeri 2 Babalan, dan MAS Al-WASLIYAH. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Guru Bimbingan Konseling memainkan peran penting dalam program bimbingan konseling yang diterapkan dan efektif. Penerapan Teori Donald E. Super dalam bimbingan karir memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik kepada siswa tentang diri mereka, serta informasi yang relevan tentang pilihan karir. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya program bimbingan karir yang sistematis dan berkelanjutan di sekolah untuk mendukung kematangan karir remaja. Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of counselling services in addressing bullying at MAN 2 Deli Serdang and to analyze its relevance from the perspective of maqashid syariah. The research employs qualitative methods, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research informants include guidance and counselling teachers, the principal, and the vice-principal. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman approach. The results show that MAN 2 Deli Serdang effectively addresses bullying issues by implementing individual counselling, group guidance, and information services. Individual counselling helps students to open up, understand the reasons behind bullying, and find solutions. Group guidance aims at prevention and intervention, while information services raise awareness about the dangers of bullying. The school also actively engages in bullying prevention and intervention through the education of guidance counsellors, student education, information dissemination, the formation of an Anti-Bullying Task Force, and collaboration with parents, the Ministry of Religion, and the police. The implementation of counselling services at MAN 2 Deli Serdang aligns with the principles of maqashid syariah, particularly in aspects of life protection (hifzh al-nafs), intellect protection (hifzh al-'aql), lineage protection (hifzh al-nasl), honour preservation (hifzh al-'ird), and the creation of welfare (tahqiq al-maslahah) for all school members. This study concludes that the counselling services implemented at MAN 2 Deli Serdang effectively address bullying and are relevant to the principles of maqashid syariah.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pandangan para pendidik PAI tentang pendidikan karakter dan pengajaran akhlak mulia, serta mengidentifikasi persamaan dan perbedaan pandangan tersebut. Mengenai penelitian kualitatif semacam ini. Memanfaatkan metode untuk mengumpulkan informasi seperti survei, wawancara, dan penelitian tercatat. Data disajikan melalui analisis interaktif berdasarkan model Huberman dan Miles. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian, para pendidik PAI di Kec. Sekolah Menengah Atas Tanjung Pura meyakini bahwa pendidikan akhlak mulia merupakan upaya nyata untuk meningkatkan ketaqwaan siswa kepada Allah SWT dengan cara mengajarkan prinsip-prinsip akhlak yang unggul. Dari cara siswa belajar membaca Alquran, beristighfar, dan mengikuti kegiatan kemanusiaan seperti gotong royong dan infaq dan sedekah, serta rukun iman, ihsan, syukur, ketaatan, dan husnuzzan, terlihat jelas bahwa guru menanamkan akhlak. nilai-nilai seperti ini pada siswanya. Pendidikan karakter, menurut para pendidik PAI, adalah suatu program yang bertujuan untuk mengajarkan siswa untuk menghargai dan menghormati orang lain, serta menerima tanggung jawab atas pilihan dan perilakunya sendiri, melalui penggunaan teknik pelatihan yang ditunjukkan melalui perkataan, sikap, dan perilaku. perbuatan. Pendidikan akhlak mulia dan pendidikan budi pekerti menurut sudut pandang para pengajar PAI adalah sama dan berbeda karena menggunakan pendekatan yang berbeda. Metode-metode seperti pendekatan pembiasaan, keteladanan, bimbingan, serta penghargaan dan hukuman juga dapat dibandingkan. Secara umum pendidikan karakter dan pendidikan akhlak mulia cukup sebanding.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the efforts of Counseling Guidance teachers in overcoming the behavior of students who play true, because there are still many students who often play true as seen by us at this time, there are those who participate in promiscuity, are lazy to study and others. Of course, in this study, researchers discussed how the counseling teacher's efforts to overcome the behavior of students who skipped school in an effective way carried out by the counseling teacher. This research leads to a qualitative descriptive research method, the data of which was taken from interviews with 2 existing sources. And the results of this study were: According to all informants, it was concluded that the counseling teacher's efforts to deal with students who skipped school were to approach the counseling teacher to students and provide a service with group counseling services and group guidance.

Abstract

Smartphone use can lead to smartphone addiction behavior. Smartphone addiction can occur if a person continuously and excessively uses it, which will harm him. Therefore, this study aims to analyze whether applying information services through self-control strategies can overcome smartphone addiction in students. Quantitative methods and experimental approaches, known as quasi-experiments, are used in this type of research. The design used was the pretest-posttest control group design; in this design, the experimental group received treatment, while the control group received no treatment. The samples taken were 34 students who were divided into two groups. The experimental group consisted of 17 students, and the control group consisted of 15 students. Data was collected through a structured questionnaire given to students to measure smartphone addiction. Data were analyzed using inferential statistics. The results obtained found differences between the two groups. There was a decrease in smartphone addiction in the experimental group, while the control group experienced an increase in smartphone addiction. This means that applying information services through this self-control strategy influences smartphone addiction in students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan memahami tentang pengaruh kepercayaan diri seseorang dalam berkomunikasi. Kepercayaan diri sebagai bagian awal dari kegiatan public speaking dalam komunikasi, sangat menarik untuk diteliti, mengingat bahwa public speaking akan terbangun apabila mempunyai kepercayaan diri dalam komunikasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kepustakaan dimana kegiatan yang berkenaaan dengan pengumpulan data pustaka yang berasal dari jurnal, buku, dan juga website komunikasi terpercaya yang berkaitan dengan membangun rasa percaya diri dalam berkomunikasi pada remaja. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pengaruh kepercayaan diri seseorang dalam berkomunikasi dapat diatasi dengan meningkatkan kepercayaan diri yaitu dengan memiliki kemuan yang kuat dan mampu menempatkan diri dalam segala situasi. kepercayaan diri seseorang itu sangat berpengaruh penting karena, dari percaya diri itu kita bisa dengan tau dan mudah melakukan sebuah komunikasi baik itu untuk public ataupun untuk diri sendiri.Kata Kunci: percaya diri, berkomunikasi

Abstract

This study aims to identify students' perceptions of the quality of Guidance and Counseling (BK) teacher services at school, specifically at the Delisha Education Foundation. Students' perceptions of BK services encompass aspects of discipline, appearance, BK teachers' understanding of the guidance field, types of services provided, and BK teachers' skills in delivering services. The research employs a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, involving 5 eleventh-grade students as research subjects. Data were collected through interviews and observations, then analyzed using the interactive analysis model of Miles and Huberman, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results of the study indicate that students have a positive view of the role of BK teachers. They perceive that BK teachers are able to provide emotional support and practical solutions effectively in helping them overcome personal, academic, and social problems. BK teachers are also considered to have good listening and understanding skills regarding students' issues and provide sufficient information about career options and educational paths after graduation. However, some students suggested that the availability of BK teachers' time should be increased for more optimal service. This study is expected to provide valuable insights into efforts to improve guidance and counseling services in schools and support the optimal development of students.
