Abstract

Communication skills play an important role in the learning process of student at school. Unfortunately, based on previous research, it is known that students’ communication skills in the low category. Improving communication skills can be done in many ways, one of which is giving verbal reinforcement. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of verbal reinforcement to improve the communication skills of student in class VII SMP Negeri 7 Sungai Ambawang. This research uses experimental method with pre-experimental design and research design in the form of one-group pretest-posttest design. the data collection technique used was the Communication Skills questionnaire. Data analysis using parametric test Paired Sample T Test. The result showed that the pretest score of students had an average percentage of 60.52% with the sufficient category and the post-test score had an average percentage of 71.77% with a good category, an increase percentage of 11.25%. the result of hypothesis testing show that the tvalue, which is -11.7041 > ttable, which is 2.0687 and the significance value, which is 0.0000 < form 0.05 which means H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, thus it can be interpreted that there is a significant increase after being given verbal reinforcement oh the communication skills of student in class VII SMP Negeri 7 Sungai Ambawang._____________________________________________________________Keterampilan komunikasi memegang peran penting dalam proses pembelajaran peserta didik di sekolah. Namun sayangnya, berdasarkan penelitian terdahulu diketahui bahwa kemampuan komunikasi peserta didik masih berada pada kategori rendah. Peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi dapat dilakukan dengan banyak cara, salah satunya adalah pemberian reinforcement verbal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pemberian reinforcement verbal untuk meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi peserta didik kelas VII SMP Negeri 7 Sungai Ambawang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan bentuk pre-experimental design dan rancangan penelitian berupa one-group pretest-posttest design. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu angket Keterampilan Komunikasi. Analisis data menggunakan uji parametrik Paired Sample T Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa skor pretest peserta didik memiliki persentase rata-rata sebesar 60,52% dengan kategori cukup dan skor post-test memiliki persentase rata-rata sebesar 71,77% dengan kategori baik, mengalami peningkatan sebesar 11,25%. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa nilai thitung, yaitu -11,7041 > ttabel, yaitu 2,0687 dan nilai signifikansi, yaitu 0,0000 < dari 0,05 yang berarti H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima, dengan demikian dapat diartikan bahwa terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan setelah diberikan reinforcement verbal pada keterampilan komunikasi peserta didik kelas VII SMP Negeri 7 Sungai Ambawang.

Abstract

In general, this study aims to help counselees control negative emotions that can harm themselves and their environment. Emotional stability in adolescents is a valuable achievement in this phase. The provision of counseling guidance services can help students who experience inability to control their emotions in a better direction. The specific target to be achieved in this study is to explore more deeply how individual counseling services work using art therapy techniques. With this, it can be known what causes, impacts and efforts can be given to train and control negative emotions in a positive direction so that they can be accepted in the environment. The form of research is a case study with descriptive methods. The data collection techniques used are non-test techniques in the form of interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed positive changes in students in the form of ability to overcome problems and reduced emotional outbursts that were seen analyzing each meeting. The suggestion for further research is to pay intensive attention in guiding and paying attention to the development of case subjects. ____________________________________________________________________Secara umum penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membantu konseli mengontrol emosi negatif yang dapat merugikan diri maupun lingkungannya. Kestabilan emosi pada remaja merupakan pencapaian berharga pada fase ini. Pemberian layanan bimbingan konseling dapat membantu peserta didik yang mengalami ketidakmampuan dalam mengontrol emosinya ke arah yang lebih baik. Target khusus yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah menggali lebih dalam cara kerja layanan konseling individu menggunakan teknik art therapy. Dengan ini dapat diketahui apa penyebab, dampak serta upaya yang bisa diberikan untuk melatih dan mengontrol emosi negatif ke arah positif agar dapat diterima di lingkunagn. Bentuk penelitian ialah studi kasus dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yakni teknik non tes berupa wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perubahan positif pada peserta didik berupa kemampuan mengatasi masalah dan berkurangnya luapan emosi yang terlihat analisa setiap pertemuan. Adapun saran untuk penelitian selanjutnya adalah memberikan perhatian yang intensif dalam membimbing dan memperhatikan perkembangan subjek kasus.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out and examine in depth self-injury in class VIII students at SMP Negeri 14 Pontianak. The case subjects in this research were two class VIII students who committed self-injury. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach in the form of a case study. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique uses case study steps which include problem elimination, diagnosis, prognosis, treatment, evaluation and follow-up. In providing treatment to subjects in cases I and II, the researcher provided an individual counseling service model using Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) with emotional control card techniques and role playing. Based on research results, the factors that cause self-injury are internal factors such as psychology, and external factors such as family, environment and social media. There were visible changes in the subject of case I and the subject of case II after being given treatment five times. The changes seen in the subject of case I include being able to control his emotions, having feelings of self-worth, and not wanting to commit self-injury. Meanwhile, the changes seen in the subject of case II were being able to control emotions, wanting to get closer to friends, having feelings of worth in the subject of the case, and not wanting to commit acts of self-injury._____________________________________________________________Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan mengkaji secara mendalam tentang self-injury pada perserta didik kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 14 Pontianak. Subjek kasus dalam penelitian ini adalah dua orang perserta didik kelas VIII yang melakukan self-injury. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif dalam bentuk studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan langkah-langkah studi kasus yang meliputi identifikasi masalah, diagnosis, prognosis, treatment, evaluasi dan tindak lanjut. Dalam pemberian treatment pada subjek kasus I dan II peneliti memberikan model layanan konseling individual menggunakan Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) dengan teknik kartu kontrol emosi dan role playing. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, faktor penyebab self-injury yaitu faktor internal seperti psikologis, dan faktor eksternal seperti keluarga, lingkungan, dan media sosial. Terdapat perubahan yang tampak pada subjek kasus I dan subjek kasus II Setelah diberikan treatment sebanyak lima kali pertemuan. Perubahan yang tampak pada subjek kasus I diantaranya adalah sudah bisa mengontrol emosinya, sudah adanya perasaan berharga dalam diri, dan tidak mau melakukan self-injury. Sedangkan perubahan yang tampak pada subjek kasus II adalah bisa mengontrol emosi, mau mendekatkan diri dengan teman, sudah adanya perasaan berharga dalam diri subjek kasus, dan tidak mau melakukan self-injury.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine in depth students who have aggressive behavior at Mts Negeri 2 Pontianak. The case subjects in this research were two students in grades VII and VIII who had symptoms of aggressive behavior at school. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach in the form of a case study. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis uses case study steps which include problem elimination, diagnosis, prognosis, treatment, evaluation and follow-up. In providing treatment, researchers used a counseling model to treat two students who had aggressive behavior, namely using the REB counseling model. Based on the research results, changes were seen in the subjects of cases I and II after being treated four times. Changes were seen in the subjects of cases I and II in terms of their cognitive, emotional and social behavior. In the cognitive aspect, the case subject understands and knows about the impact of aggressive behavior so that it can be a reminder to avoid aggressive behavior, from the emotional aspect, the case subject tries to control emotions to avoid aggressive behavior, and in the social behavioral aspect, the case subject has a better scope of friendship. from the previous. It is recommended for future researchers to use home visit data collection techniques so that the causal factors and results of providing assistance can be seen as a whole from the school environment and family environment. _____________________________________________________________Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji secara mendalam tentang peserta didik yang memiliki perilaku agresif di Mts Negeri 2 Pontianak. Subyek kasus dalam penelitian ini adalah dua orang siswa kelas VII dan VIII yang memiliki gejala perilaku agresif di sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif berbentuk studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan analisis datanya menggunakan langkah studi kasus yang meliputi identifikasi masalah, diagnosis, prognosis, treatment, evaluasi dan tindak lanjut. Dalam memberikan treatment, peneliti menggunakan model konseling untuk menangani dua peserta didik yang memiliki perilaku agresif, yaitu menggunakan model konseling REB. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terlihat perubahan pada subyek kasus I dan II setelah diberikan perlakuan sebanyak empat kali pertemuan. Perubahan yang terlihat pada subyek kasus I dan II dari segi kognitif, emosi dan perilaku sosialnya. Pada aspek kognitif subyek kasus memahami dan mengetahui tentang dampak perilaku agresif sehingga bisa menjadi pengingat untuk menjauhi perilaku yang bersifat agresif, dari aspek emosi subyek kasus mencoba mengendalikan emosi agar terhindar dari perilaku agresif, dan aspek perilaku sosial subyek kasus memiliki ruang lingkup pertemanan yang lebih baik dari sebelumnya. Direkomendasikan bagi peneliti selanjutnya untuk menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data home visit agar faktor penyebab dan hasil pemberian bantuan bisa terlihat secara menyeluruh dari lingkungan sekolah maupun lingkungan keluarga.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of solution focused brief counseling in increasing the resilience of broken home students at SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Raya. The method used is pre-experimental with one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were seventh grade students who experienced broken homes with a sampling of 6 broken home students who were in the low resilience category. this study used an instrument in the form of a questionnaire to determine the level of resilience of broken home students before and after being given group counseling services SFBC approach. The results showed that the average resilience questionnaire score of broken home students before being given treatment was in the low category with an average percentage value of 50% and after being given treatment increased by 72% which was included in the moderate category. From the results of hypothesis testing using paired sample t-test obtained sig value. (2 tailed) 0.002 <0.05. Then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that there is an increase in resilience in broken home students. It can be concluded that solution focused brief counseling is effective for increasing the resilience of broken home students at SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Raya.

Abstract

This study aims to find out why academic self-efficacy is low in online learning for students. The method used is descriptive qualitative. In this study, the data sources were two class VII students of SMPN 7 Sui Raya. The data collection techniques used in the research were interviews and closed questionnaires and the data collection tools were the researchers themselves. Based on the results of the research, the two research subjects had low academic self-efficacy in online learning. (1) the characteristics of students include not being confident in their abilities, rarely participating in online learning, not being able to do the tasks given, and not understanding the material presented, (2) Factors that influence low academic self-efficacy include assignments given too much, give up easily, and lack self-confidence, (3) The impact of low academic self-efficacy includes dizziness and stress, getting reprimanded, missing material/lessons, getting low grades, and not meeting the grade promotion criteria, (4) The counseling teacher's efforts to increase academic self-efficacy include individual counseling and home visits. It was concluded from the two research subjects that the first dominant subject showed the factors that influenced his low academic self-efficacy indicated by his lack of confidence in his ability to do excessive assignments while the second subject dominantly showed feelings of insecurity in dealing with problems when learning online.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the characteristics of student learning time management in class XI IPS SMA Negeri 11 Pontianak using a quantitative approach and the form of research is a survey. The data source was 115 students of class XI IPS at SMA Negeri 11 Pontianak with a data collection tool in the form of a questionnaire. The results showed that the characteristics of students' learning time management in class XI IPS were in the "good" category with results percentage 72%, which means that students of class XI IPS can maximize their study time management. Specifically, it includes: (1) dividing time well is in the "enough" category with a percentage of 60%, (2) Learning readiness is in the "good" category with a percentage of 76%, (3) concentration while studying is in the category "good" with a percentage of 80%. Based on this description, it can be concluded that the analysis of the characteristics of study time management of students in class XI IPS SMA Negeri 11 Pontianak is on average in the "good" category, which means that students in class XI IPS are able to manage their study time well. Suggestions for BK teachers need to provide services with a more optimal understanding to students about the importance of managing time well in improving study time management.

Abstract

This study aims to determine students"™ Perceptions of dating behavior in class XII at SMA Kristen Abdi Wacana Pontianak positively and negatively. The research method used in this thesis is a descriptive method with a quantitative research form. The data sources in this study were students in class XII SMA Kristen Abdi Wacana Pontianak and the entire study population, totaling 28 students, used a questionnaire as a data collection tool. The results showed that the perception of dating positively by 53,21% was included in the very low category which could be interpreted as students"™ understanding of positive dating behavior that was still not properly understood and the perception of dating negatively by 56,81% was included in the very low category. Which means that most of the students"™ understood about what dating behavior is like. So it can be concluded that students"™ perceptions of dating behavior in Class XII SMA Kristen Abdi Wacana Pontianak still need more in-depth education about dating behavior both positively and negatively.

Abstract

Perundungan verbal dilingkungan sekolah merupakan permasalahan serius yang dapat berdampak negatif pada perkembangan peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengalaman peserta didik menjadi korban perundungan verbal disekolah SMAN 6 Pontianak, dan untuk mengetahui dampak yang ditimbulkan, serta upaya yang diterapkan oleh sekolah dalam menangani kasus ini. Subyek didalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 2 peserta didik kelas XII A dan kelas XII B serta 3 subyek pendukung, 2 orang teman kelas dan 1 guru pembimbing, pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Jenis penelitian studi kasus intrinsik. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan menggunakan model interaktif yang terdiri dari tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan karakteristik peserta didik yang menjadi korban perundungan verbal, yaitu berfisik lemah, sulit bergaul, canggung, dan kurang pandai, berikutnya faktor penyebab peserta didik yang menjadi korban perundungan verbal yaitu faktor kepribadian, faktor risiko sosial dan faktor akademik. Selanjutnya dampak pada peserta didik yang menjadi korban perundungan verbal yakni, kecemasan, merasa kesepian, menjadi tidak percaya diri dan depresi. Upaya yang sudah dilakukan guru pembimbing untuk membantu peserta didik yang menjadi korban perundungan verbal adalah memberikan layanan informasi, layanan konseling kelompok, dan layanan konseling individual.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui faktor yang melatarbelakangi serta dampak pada aspek pribadi, sosial dan belajar yang ditimbulkan dari perilaku membolos pada peserta didik di SMP Negeri 4 Sungai Raya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Peneliti mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara, observasi serta pengamatan dokumen yang berkaitan dengan perilaku membolos. Subyek dalam penelitian ini peserta didik kelas VIII yaitu Subyek 1 (Peserta didik berinisial RF) dan Subyek 2 (Peserta didik berinisial ML) di SMP Negeri 4 Sungai Raya. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini berupa wawancara untuk mencari informasi faktor penyebab subyek melakukan perilaku membolos serta memperoleh informasi secara akurat melalui data pendukung dokumentasi untuk memperoleh identitas subyek penelitian dengan pendekatan Rasional Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT) dalam menangani perilaku membolos yang dialami oleh peserta didik yaitu permasalahan yang berasal dari diri sendiri, dengan pola perilaku membolos yaitu tidak hadir dalam jangka waktu yang lama tanpa keterangan. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa perilaku membolos dapat mempengaruhi performa akademik perserta didik di sekolah.
