This study aimed to find out about in what situation and reason of the teacher to do translanguaging. This research used a qualitative descriptive method and the data was collected through observation and interview. The observation process was carried out in two meetings in class IX.2 SMPN 4 Bulukumba and the interview process was conducted with a teacher. The finding showed that the teacher often practiced translanguaging during the learning process in her class. The teacher usually did translanguaging when greeting students, introducing the lesson, drawing students’ attention, explaining the material, asking questions, giving tasks/commands, summarizing the lesson, and closing the meeting. The reason teacher did translanguaging was so that students understand the material being taught better. Based on the findings of the study, it can be concluded that the implementation of translanguaging has a positive impact in the process of teaching and learning English in EFL classroom.

In this study to be conducted by the researcher, the researcher aims to find out the impact of Quizizz on students’ English learning motivation. The samples of this study were five students of SMP Kartika XX-2 Makassar that have been chosen on purpose. This study used a descriptive analysis qualitative method. The main instrument for collecting data for this study was an interview. The result of this study showed that all the samples of SMP Kartika xx-2 Makassar were motivated to learn English when using the Quizizz application in class. The interview results got positive responses from all of the samples based on three indicators of Gardner’s motivation theory, as follows: willingness, eagerness, and enjoyment of learning. Based on the interview results, the samples answered that when the Quizizz application was applied to learning they felt willing to learn, feel eager, and also, they were enjoying the learning process. This can happen because the Quizizz application is practical/easy to use, the students don’t feel pressured when answering the task, doesn’t make the students feel bored, and how it is designed just like playing a game.  This study concludes that the Quizizz application has a good/positive impact on the student’s English learning motivation.

This study aims to determine whether using flashcard media in primary schools may help kids' vocabulary to grow. The researchers used pre-experimental techniques. Pre- and post-tests were used to collect data. All students at SD Negeri 9 Barru make up the study's population, and 24 grade 4 students were chosen randomly as the study's sample. Following analysis using the significant test formula, the pre-test and post-test results of using flashcard media to increase students' vocabulary revealed that the T-test value was greater, allowing H1 to be accepted. Analysis of the N-gain value also revealed an increase in students' vocabulary. The sample group falls into the average category. The study concludes that using flashcards as a teaching tool increases students' vocabulary, boosts their enthusiasm for learning the language, gives them more confidence to voice their thoughts, and encourages them to be more engaged in learning.

This study examines the impact of utilizing Grammarly as a medium to increase learners' English grammar skills in academic writing. This research employed a writing test with pre-test and post-test. It focuses on 3rd-semester students at Universitas Negeri Makassar who have never used Grammarly. The grammar skills assessed were verb tense, word choice, subject-verb agreement, punctuation, and spelling. The findings indicated a significant improvement in learners' grammar scores following the treatment. The mean pre-test score was 73.17, while the mean post-test score climbed to 83. Furthermore, the data showed a significance value of.003, which is less than 0.05, indicating a statistically significant difference between pre-test and post-test findings. These findings suggest that Grammarly is an effective writing tool for increasing grammatical accuracy in academic writing.

This research aims to explore students' responses to using fun English learning strategies at the junior high school level. The method used in this research is field note observation and interviews with students to determine their perceptions regarding the effectiveness and attractiveness of this learning method. The findings of this research indicate that the majority of students gave positive responses to the fun learning approach. They feel more motivated and actively involved and enjoy the interactive and varied learning process. Students report that this method helps them remember new vocabulary more easily and understand English concepts better. However, some students acknowledged the challenges of retaining learned knowledge over the long term without adequate extension. Creative and innovative teachers play an important role in the success of this method, with interesting and interactive teaching variations. In conclusion, the Fun English Learning Strategy proved to be effective in increasing students' motivation and engagement in English learning, although additional strategies are needed to ensure better knowledge retention. This research provides insight for educators and researchers in developing more effective and enjoyable English teaching methods in the future.

This research is pre-experimental research involving one class that is given a treatment. The population of this research is the tenth-grade students of SMAN 5 Enrekang. The sample was obtained from the population using the cluster random sampling method where one class, class X KM 8, which consists of 33 students, was selected randomly. The data collection process involved the administration of a speaking pre-test and post-test. The data collected from the speaking oral test was analyzed quantitatively using the IMB SPSS application and was used to compare the pre-test and post-test using the Paired Sample T-test. The analysis results show that the mean pre-test score is 34.36 with a "very poor" classification, and the mean score of the post-test is 60.45 in the "fair" classification. Based on the hypothesis of this study, there is a significant effect of using YouTube videos of procedure text in improving the students' speaking skills in the tenth grade of SMAN 5 Enrekang. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of YouTube videos of procedure text improves the speaking skills of the students in the tenth grade of SMAN 5 Enrekang.

The method used was quantitative with a pre-experimental research design with a sample of 15 class VII.1 student using a cluster random sampling technique. In obtaining data, the researcher used pretest and posttest as instruments. The results of the data analysis showed that by using WhatsApp groups, students' vocabulary mastery increased. This is evidenced by the t-test value which is smaller than P (0.000 <0.05), which means that H0 in this study is rejected and H1 is accepted. So, it concluded that the use of WhatsApp group is effective in increasing the vocabulary mastery of class VII.1 student at UPT SPF SMP Negeri 40 Makassar.
