Abstract

This study aims to develop an Android-based Student Worksheet (LKPD) on observation text material to improve the effectiveness and involvement of students in learning Indonesian at SMK 'Aisyiyah Palembang. Using a research and development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE model comprising Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages, the study involved language experts, material experts, media experts, and grade X students as users. Data collection employed observation, interviews, questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. The data consisted of qualitative information from observations, interviews, and student feedback, and quantitative data from expert validation scores, student practicality questionnaires, and pretest-posttest results. Data sources included the experts, students, and the Indonesian language teacher. Analysis involved calculating expert validation percentages to determine validity, questionnaire percentages for practicality, and comparing pretest and posttest scores for effectiveness, with normality tests ensuring statistical reliability. Validation scores showed the LKPD to be highly valid, with language experts rating 94%, media experts 95%, and material experts 97%. Practicality tests yielded 91% and 92% in individual and small group trials, respectively. Effectiveness was evident with a significant increase in average scores from 54.58 (pretest) to 83.33 (posttest). These results demonstrate that the Android-based LKPD is feasible, practical, and effective as innovative learning media supporting the Independent Curriculum and digital learning in vocational schools.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and describe the application of Canva to improve the ability to write observation report texts (LHO) through the project learning model for class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Menang. This study includes Classroom Action Research (CAR) with 36 students as research subjects. The data collection method uses test, observation, and documentation methods. The data analysis technique uses quantitative methods to observe teacher performance and assess student work in the form of LHO texts. The results of the study showed that the use of Canva media and the project learning model improved the quality of learning to write LHO texts. Teacher activity in cycle I with a total score percentage obtained of 84% increased to 88% in cycle II. The total value of students' LHO text writing skills in cycle I obtained 2293 or the average classical student score was 63.70 with a percentage of completion of 36%. In cycle II, the total value of LHO text writing skills increased by 3099 or the average classical score was 86.10 with a percentage of completion reaching 100%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and describe the application of audio-visual media to improve the ability to write drama texts through the project-based learning (PjBL) model for class VIII students of SMP Negeri 5 Mesuji. This study is included in classroom action research (PTK) with 20 students as research subjects. The data collection method uses test, observation, interview, and documentation methods. The data analysis technique uses quantitative methods to observe student performance and assess the results of work in the form of drama texts. The results of the study indicate that the use of audio-visual media and the project-based learning model can improve the quality of learning to write drama texts, seen from changes in student attitudes in several aspects. Teacher activity in cycle I with a total score percentage obtained of 71.67% increased to 90% in cycle II. While student activity in cycle I with a total score percentage obtained of 70% and increased in cycle II to 86.7%. The total value of students' drama text writing skills in cycle I obtained 1035 or the average value of students classically was 51.75 with a percentage of completion of 10%. In cycle II, the total value of drama text writing skills increased by 1645 or the average value classically was 82.25 with a percentage of completion reaching 80%.

Abstract

Interaksi pembelajaran di ruang kelas merupakan salah satu komponen utama yang menentukan keberhasilan proses pendidikan.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis bentuk-bentuk tindak tutur guru berdasarkan konteksnya dalam mengelola interaksi pembelajaran di SMK Negeri 3 Kayuagung. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMK Negeri 3 Kayuagung dengan 6 orang guru yang menjadi objek penelitian yaitu guru agama, bahasa indonesia, bimbingan konseling, muatan lokal, akuntansi, dan dasar akuntansi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik rekam, simak dan catat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1. Ditemukan dua jenis tindak tutur berdasarkan konteksnya dalam proses pembelajaran di SMK Negeri 3 Kayuagung yaitu 25 tuturan langsung dan 3 tuturan tidak langsung, 2. Tuturan yang sering muncul yaitu tuturan langsung, 3. Tuturan yang jarang muncul yaitu tuturan tidak langsung. Kata Kunci: Tindak Tutur, Kesantunan, Guru

Abstract

This research is titled the expansion of the novel 172 Day by Nadzira Syafa to the film 172 Day directed by Hadrah Daeng Ratu. This study aims to describe the aspects of shrinkage, addition and variation in the novel 172 Day by Nadzira Syafa to the film 172 Day directed by Hadrah Daeng Ratu. The data sources in this study are the novel 172 Day by Nadzira Syafa and the film 172 Day directed by Hadrah Daeng Ratu. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. The data collection technique in this study is document techniques, both writings, drawings and other works. The data validity technique in this study is the triangulation technique. This research produces several aspects of shrinkage, expansion and variation aspects. The shrinkage aspect in this study has 3 characters and 1 setting. The additional aspects of this research are 3 figures and 6 settings. There are 6 different aspects of the change in the flow of this research. The conclusion of this study is that there are aspects of shrinkage, addition and change that vary from the novel 172 day to the movie 172 day.

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this research is "What are the illocutionary and deictic speech acts in the dialogue of the film Rumah Masa Depan by Danial Rifki?". This research aims to describe the form of illocutionary and deictic speech acts in the dialogue of the film Rumah Masa Depan by Danial Rifki. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative research method. The data in this research are the utterances in the dialogue of the film Rumah Future. The results of this research show that the illocutionary and deictic speech acts in the film Rumah Masa Depan by Danial Rifki consist of assertive, directive, expressive illocutionary and space and time deixis. The research results concluded that there are several forms and functions of illocutionary speech acts, namely assertive stating, suggesting, boasting and complaining. The directive function is ordering, ordering, and requesting. The expressive function is to say thank you, express condolences, blame and praise. The forms of space (place) deixis are locative and demonstrative deixis. The forms of time deixis are present time, future time and past time. Keywords: Speech acts, Illocution, Deixis, Film

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the signs and meanings of icons, index, and symbols in the novel Antares by Rweinda in terms of semiotic studies. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive method. The data collection technique used documentation, and the validity of the data was carried out by triangulation techniques and the data were analyzed by content analysis techniques. The results showed that the signs and meanings in the novel Antares by Rweinda with a semiotic approach found as many as 231 quotations in the form of aspects of icon signs, indexes and symbols which are divided into several classifications of forms. There are 74 quote icons, namely (1) social marker icons with 13 quotes, (2) topology icons with 12 quotes, (3) metaphor icons with 27 quotes, and (4) onomotope icons with 22 quotes. Then found an index of 59 citations in the form of (1) behavior index with 36 citations, (2) performance index with 16 citations, (3) occupation index with 2 citations and, (4) lifestyle index with 5 citations. Then found as many as 98 symbols, namely (1) personal symbols totaling 62 quotes, (2) agreement symbols totaling 30 quotes and, (3) universal symbols totaling 6 quotes. Signs and meanings that were found the most were marks on personal symbols from 62 quotes. While the least found are index marks in the form of a job index as many as 2 citations.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the religious and moral educational values in the novel Ta'aruf Dalam Sunyi (A Sociological Review of Literature). This is qualitative research with a descriptive method. The data analysis technique uses content analysis with the research object of the novel Ta'aruf Dalam Sunyi by Diana Fitria. Data collection techniques using library research. The data validation technique uses technical triangulation. The results of the study show that the total religious educational values and moral educational values in the novel with the total 41. In the form of religious educational values totalling 19 data points consisting of the value of human relations with God and human relations with other human beings. The moral educational values total 22 data points, consisting of honest values, the values of determination and commitment, the values of cooperation, and the values of responsibility.

Abstract

Bahasa gaul sangat berkembang pesat dikalangan masyarakat luas terutama para remaja khususnya khususnya siswa atau siswi tingkat jenjang menengah pertama. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan dan mengetahui perkembangan bahasa gaul yang sering digunakan siswa-siswi kelas 7 SMP Negeri 42 palembang dalam percakapan sehari-hari dilingkungan sekolah. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif. Data penelitian yang diperoleh berupa kata dan kalimat. Sumber data dari penelitian ini diperoleh dari siswa-siswi SMP negeri 42 Palembang.Teknik studi lapangan menggunakan metode simak dan catat dalam pengumpulan data. Analisis data menggunakan tenik Koding dari hasil wawancara. Hasil analisis data menunjukan bawasannya penggunaan bahasa gaul dikalangan siswa-siswi suda menjadi kebiasaa dan trend yang digunaan dalam bahasa sehari-hari dilimgkungan sekolah

Abstract

Language is a tool of human communication for both oral and written. In Indonesian learning, there are four skills that are expected to continue to improve in students. These four skills include reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Writing skills are one of the skills that have a high level of difficulty compared to other aspects of skills. One of the writing materials learned by grade VII junior high school students is writing description texts. Teachers need to consider suitable models, methods, media, and approaches in teaching writing this description text. In this study, the author used a contextual approach with direct observation object media when teaching material to write description texts. The results of this study show an increase in the skills of writing description texts for grade VII students of SMP Negeri 3 Abab for the 2023/2024 school year. This is evidenced by obtaining student grades, namely in the first cycle students achieved completeness as many as 12 students out of 26 students or 45%. In cycle II students achieved completeness of 21 students out of 26 students or 81%, an increase of 36%. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that a contextual approach with direct observation object media is more suitable to be applied in writing description texts.
