Abstract

The purposive of this study are (1) the average mathematical communication abilities of students who have learned by applying the ethnomatemics-based Realistic Mathematics Education approach, (2) the mastery of learning mathematical communication abilities of students who are taught with the Mathematics-Based Realistic Mathematics approach. This type of research is quantitative with true experimental design research design using the form of Posttest Only Control. The sample uses a simple random sampling technique and is carried out in class V SD 5 Jepang as an experimental class and class V SD 1 Gulang as a control class. Data collection techniques are tests of students' mathematical communication abilities. Data analysis techniques in this study include normality test, homogeneity test, average difference test and learning completeness test. The results showed that (1) the average mathematical communication ability of the experimental class students was higher than the average mathematical communication ability of control class students with expository learning; (2) students' mathematical communication abilities with ethnomatemicsbased Realistic Mathematics Education approach achieve mastery learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve the ability of mathematical understanding, learning activities and teaching skills of teachers through the Auditory Intellectualy Repetition model with assisted by the mathematical smart wheel media. This research is a classroom action research conducted in class IV SDN Sukobubuk 01 Margorejo District Pati Regency second semester 2019/2020 academic year. The research method uses classroom action research consisting of 2 cycles each cycle consisting of 4 stages namely planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. The instruments used in this study were tests of mathematical understanding abilities, observation sheets of student learning activities and teacher teaching skills. Data will be analize test used in this research is quantitative and qualitative data analysis. The results showed, among others: (1) The ability of mathematical understanding through the Auditory Intellectualy Repetition Model assisted by the mathematical smart wheel media increased by 30.29 from the initial condition of 43.35 to 73.64 in the final condition; (2) Student learning activities through the Auditory Intellectualy Repetition Model assisted by mathematical smart wheel media have increased by 23.13 from the initial conditions of 53.12 to 76.25 in the final conditions; (3) Teachers' teaching skills in applying the Auditory Intellectualy Repetition Model assisted by the mathematical smart wheel media increased by 23.5 from the initial conditions of 52.5 to 76 in the final condition

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model inquiry berbantuan media manipulatif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan koneksi matematik siswa kelas IV SD 5 Jepang materi keliling dan luas bangun datar, (2) untuk mendeskripsikan aktiivtas belajar siswa kelas IV SD 5 Jepang pada mata pelajaran matematika materi keliling dan luas bangun datar dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran inquiry berbantuan media manipulatif, dan (3) untuk mendeskripsikan keterampilan mengajar guru dalam menerapkan model pembelajaran inquiry berantuan media manipulatif pada pelajaran matematika materi keliling dan luas bangun datar siswa kelas IV SD 5 Jepang. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan pada IV SD 5 Jepang dengan subjek penelitian 41 siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dua siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari dari empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi.Variabel bebas adalah model pembelajaran inquiry berbantuan media manipulative. Variabel terikat adalah kemampuan koneksi matematik. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, tes, angket, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan merupakan analisis data deksripsi kualitatif. Hasil penelitian terdapat peningkatan pada nilai kemampuan koneksi matematik pada materi keliling dan luas bangun datar yakni  siklus I (56,1%) dan siklus II (78,05%). Didukung dengan peningkatan keterampilan belajar matematika siswa pada siklus I 67,79 (baik) menjadi 78,2 (sangat baik) pada siklus II. Data pendukung lain yakni, peningkatan pada aktivitas belajar siswa dalam mengkoneksikan matematik siklus I 67,7% (cukup) menjadi 82,93% (baik) pada siklus II. Keterampilan mengajar guru dalam pengelolaan pembelajaran model pembelajaran inquiry juga mengalami peningkatan pada siklus I 66,23% (cukup) menjadi 82,21% (baik) pada siklus II. Hal tersebut membuktikan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran inquiry berbantuan media manipulatif dapat meningkatkan kemampuan koneksi matematik siswa kelas IV SD 5 Jepang materi keliling dan luas bangun datar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa, mendeskripsikan peningkatan keterampilan mengajar guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran, dan menemukan peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran Jigsaw dengan permainan ular tangga tiga dimensi (ULTRA 3D) pada sifat-sifat bangun datar pada kelas III SD N 3 Ngeling. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini telah dilaksanakan di kelas III SD N 3 Ngeling dengan subjek penelitian 28 siswa dan peneliti sebagai guru. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman matematis pada materi sifat-sifat bangun datar yang signifikan yang mencapai rata-rata presentase antara siklus I (71,43%) dan siklus II (82,14%). Rata-rata aktivitas belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan dari skor rata-rata 2,31 dengan kriteria cukup baik pada siklus I, mengalami peningkatan menjadi 2,53 pada siklus II dengan kriteria baik. Hasil keterampilan mengajar guru juga mengalami peningkatan dari skor rata-rata 3,07 dengan kriteria baik, meningkat menjadi skor rata-rata sebesar 3,35 pada siklus II dengan kriteria sangat baik

Abstract

Proses pembelajaran yang belum menerapkan model pembelajaran yang inovatif, guru masih kesulitan dalam mengajarkan matematika, dan guru masih mendominasi proses pembelajaran dengan menerapkan metode ceramah. Sehingga siswa cenderung pasif, tidak memperhatikan penjelasan guru. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dari hasil prasiklus yang memperoleh 57,79 dengan kategori perlu bimbingan pada kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis. Sehingga penelitian ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika. Perancangan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan pada kelas IV SD 5 Jekulo dengan subjek penelitian 29 siswa. Peneliti melaksanakan 2 siklus masing–masing siklus terdiri dari 2 pertemuan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes dan nontes. Analisis dataang digunakan yaitu analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini memperoleh hasil yaitu: dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran teams game tournament berbantuan roda bangun datar dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman kosep matematis siswa. Model pembelajaran TGT berbantuan roda bangun datar dapat melibatkan siswa secara aktif mengikuti pembelajaran, menuntut siswa untuk berpikir secara kritis, menyampaikan pendapatnya, menggali pengetahuan yang dimiliki dan dapat belajar sambil bermain sehingga pembelajaran lebih menyenangkan bagi siswa

Abstract

The aim of this classroom action research was to improve problem solving skills of the fourth grade students at Sekolah Dasar Negeri 2 Lambangan through the implementation of Problem-Based Learning model assisted by square puzzle media. This research involved 19 students as the subjects. This research was conducted in 2 cycles; each cycle consisted of 4 stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The independent variable in this study was a Problem-Based Learning model assisted by the square puzzle media. After that, the dependent variable was problem solving abilities. Data were collected through interviews and tests. The interviews were carried out to determine students’ interest in learning mathematics while the test was carried out to measure students’ mathematical problem solving abilities. Then, the data were analyzed quantitatively. The results showed that there was an increase on problem solving abilities in cycles I and II. The percentage of classical learning completeness increased from 63.15%, in cycle I, to 84.21%, in cycle II. The increase in problem solving abilities was caused by the implementation of Problem-Based Learning model which was student-centered. This model encouraged students to take an active role in problem solving activities. Besides, it was also supported by the use of square puzzle media which made it easier for students to build their understanding towards the materials about circumference and area of a two-dimentional figures (square and rectangle).

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang proses berpikir kreatif siswa terhadap pola asuh orang tua. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Objek  penelitian ini adalah siswa sekolah dasar. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa, orang tua, dan guru kelas. Ada 4 indikator berpikir kreatif yaitu berpikir lancar, berpikir luwes, berpikir orisinal, dan berpikir elaborasi. Data yang diperoleh yaitu dari observasi, wawancara mendalam, angket, dokumentasi, dan tes. Semua dimensi tersebut adalah untuk mengukur bagaimana  pola asuh yang diterapkan orang tua siswa dan bagaimana dampak pola asuh orang tua terhadap berpikir kreatif siswa.

Abstract

The preliminary study at SMP Negeri 5 Pati obtained an average score of 33,44. This shows that the students' mathematical problem solving ability is still low. The purpose of this study was to test the average mathematical problem solving ability of class students who were given the Project Based Learning model assisted by the Lubuk ethnomathematics module which was better than the class with direct learning. The research method used was quantitative. Sampling with purposive sampling technique. Analysis of the data used the t-test of two independent samples. The results showed that the average mathematical problem solving ability of students who were taught the PjBL model assisted by the Lubuk ethnomathematics e-module was better than students who received direct learning. The conclusion of this study is that the PjBL model assisted by the Lubuk ethnomathematics e-module has an effect on students' mathematical problem solving abilities.

Abstract

Analysis of the data used, including normality test, homogeneity test, and one independent sample t test. The results showed that the average mathematical problem solvingability of students who were taught the PjBL model assisted by the Lubukethnomathematics e-module was more than 75. The conclusion of this study is that the average mathematical problem solving ability of students can achieve the KKM score

Abstract

The reasearch aim to measure improvement in the understanding concept mathematics abilities after using the Discovery Learning Model. The understanding concept mathematics abilities is one of the important goals in learning, providing an understanding that the material taught to students is not just memorization, but more than that with understanding students can better understand the concept of the subject matter itself. In this study, researchers will use the Discovery Learning model which is one of the learning models that requires students to find and find their knowledge in accordance with their own abilities, so that students' ability to understand concepts can be improved. The results of this research showed there is an increase in students' understanding of mathematical concepts.
