Abstract

Indonesia Melawan Sekutu is a real-time strategy games which in the form of tower defense. This game also belong into educational game because the game provide player knowledge about history of Indonesian independence. The game is running well on computer that use Windows operating system. Indonesia Melawan Sekutu was created by Adobe Flash with Actionscript 3.0. This game consist of 6 chapters which have different difficulity. The result from testing phase that the game has good quality and increase knowledge players about Indonesian Independence

Abstract

“Rhythm Holic” is a 2D Rhythm game for Android. This game uses Unity2D as it game engine and targeted to Android mobile phone. The game design are designed using Unity as it platform and Microsoft Visual Studio for the game script. Player can select all of the 10 song in-game that include EDM, Pop, Art and indie song. In the game the song Beats Per Minute(BPM) varies from as low as 85BPM to as high as 179BPM. All of the song inside the game were unlocked so player can choose which song the player want to play. Player can save the high score by offline service and can be reset via option menu to reset it. Testing was done by the blackbox testing, alpha testing by lecturer, and beta testing by surveying 32 respondens. Test results show that responden got interest while playing because the game was fun, entertaining and the background is interesting. Although the game are fun and entertaining for some player it got some cons that was the tap area was not strategic enough and the appearing not was too little and scroll speed was not fast enough.

Abstract

“Zombie Run” is an endless running game that must played by two players on one computer or notebook and must be played using Arduino Pro Micro and GY-521 as controller. This game developed using Unity 3D game engine and controller developed using Arduino SDK. Player have to avoid as many obstacles to create highest score. Player can get uniquely exciting experience by tilting controller and pressing button in the controller to make character move. Testing has been done using blackbox method, alpha testing, and beta testing. The result show that this game have interesting concept by two players and gyroscope controller

Abstract

“Need More Gold” is a hack-and-slash dan deck-building game build for PC platform. Player will play as a boy exploring an abandon castle. “Need More Gold” use keyboard as the main control to move the character, cards dan consumables. In this game, players will play as a character who will explore an old castle and search for abandoned treasures. Players will fight many monsters, collect objects to defeat existing bosses until the player finally reaches the deepest part of the castle and finds the treasure. This game created by Unity game engine with C# as the programming language. Testing has been done by Black Box Testing, Alpha Testing by lecturer and Beta Testing by sharing and filling questionaires to 30 respondents. The result is the game has normal difficulty level for people who have played at least one of the genre and hard difficulty level for those who haven’t played before.

Abstract

The game is developed using Unity Game Engine and C# language as a script maker. The game consist of 15 music with 4 music genres. The concept of this game is that the player must complete the stage containing various obstacles that can be passed or destroyed according to music’s beat and tempo. Touchscreen is used to control the game. The test results show that the game "Catch The Beat" is a game with moderate difficulty level, can be entertaining and easy to control. Some players are interested to play this game again.

Abstract

Zombie Shooter is a game with a dual-stick shooter genre, sub-genre of action games. Dual-stick shooter is a game that implements virtual thumbstick to control player character. The game designed using Unity 5.2.0 with C# and JavaScript languages. The 3D graphics and components are designed using Blender 2.73a. The camera angle in the game is using isometric camera. Player must survive and complete the mission while zombie come and attack the player. The player must complete the mission before the time out.This game was tested by using blackbox testing method, alpha testing method, and beta testing method. The results indicate that Zombie Shooter can entertain the players because this game is packed in 3D graphics, can be played anywhere (portable), and have a range of different missions.

Abstract

“Six Horian“ is a survival and horror virtual reality game for Android. In this game player must survive with three or four candles still lit within 166 seconds to advance to the next stage. This game use three-dimensional graphics. The game is created with the purpose of using gyro sensor on smartphone into the game, using google cardboard as external tool, and game developed with Unity. This game created by Unity game engine with C# as programming language. The testing was done with 3 methods which were blackbox testing. Alpha testing, and  beta testing through 30 respondents. The beta testing showed that not many people has played Virtual Reality game using jogging in the spot as a controller.

Abstract

Game "Looking For Treasure" adalah game bergenre platformer dengan nuansa tiga dimensi. Game ini dirancang dengan menggunakan Unity3D dan ditargetkan untuk platform Personal Computer. Perancangan game ini menggunakan Unity sebagai game engine, Adobe Photoshop untuk perancangan gambar 2D pada game, dan Blender untuk memanipulasi assets 3D yang dipakai. Game dapat dimainkan dengan menggunakan keyboard dan mouse sebagai controller untuk mengendalikan pemain. Pemain berperan sebagai El yang mempunyai tugas untuk mengumpulkan harta karun di tiap world. Objektif pemain adalah mengumpulkan key untuk membuka stage selanjutnya. Selain itu pemain dapat mengumpulkan gem untuk menambah lives saat sudah terkumpul sebanyak 100 buah. Dalam game ini memiliki 6 stage yang terdiri dari 4 stage biasa dan 2 stage boss. Setiap stage memiliki tingkat kesulitan yang berbeda-beda. Pemain dapat melewati setiap level dengan berjalan, melompat, dan memukul. Di tiap stage terdapat karakter musuh yang memiliki pola serangan yang berbeda-beda. Karakter musuh dibagi menjadi 2 jenis, yaitu Creator dan Guardian. Creator terdapat di semua stage biasa dan Guardian terdapat di stage boss tertentu.

Abstract

Summoner’s Quest is a Tower Defense Game. This game was made with the purpose of giving a new experience to players by implementing the touch gesture recognizer feature. This game is a 2D game and playable in Android-based smartphone. This game is created with Unity and C# as the programming language. Players must destroy the enemy’s base by drawing symbols on the screen to summon various soldiers to attack the monsters that protect the enemy’s base. Testing is done by blackbox method, alpha testing, and beta testing through a survey of 30 respondents. The test results indicate that the feature of drawing symbols on Summoner’s Quest makes the gameplay unique and interesting, so that players interested in playing the game again. But there are also some flaws,such as the lack of variations of the soldier’s design and the game interface looks perfect when played on a device that has a screen aspect ratio of 16:10.

Abstract

Game “Run’N Escape” adalah game dengan genre Runner yang bertemakan fiksi ilmiah. Game ini yang memiliki tujuan memberikan permainan yang dapat menghibur. Pemain berperan sebagai tahanan yang mempunyai tujuan untuk kabur dari dalam penjara dengan bantuan tahanan yang lain. Game mempunyai tampilan berbentuk dua dimensi dan dimainkan dengan menggunakan smartphone berbasis Android. Game dibuat menggunakan game engine Unity dengan C# sebagai bahasa pemrograman. Permainan ini tidak memiliki akhir permainan level. Tujuan dari permainan pemain harus mencari skor setinggi mungkin. Pemain harus menghindari rintangan dengan melompat atau melakukan dash agar permainan tidak berakhir. Pengujian dilakukan dengan metode blackbox, alpha testing oleh pembimbing, dan beta testing melalui survei pada 30 user. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa game “Run’N Escape” merupakan pemainan yang cukup menantang, menghibur dan memiliki fitur yang cukup menarik. Sebagian pemain merasa tertarik untuk bermain, Namun terdapat kekurangan pada sisi lain yaitu kurangnya variasi tantangan objek, rintangan permainan cukup sulit untuk pemain awam, dan level yang bervariasi kurang bervariasi.
