Abstract

Futsal is a sport that requires a lot of basic technical skills. One sport that really requires the ability to play futsal skills. The ability to play is one way how a player is able to master the game. By improving the basic techniques, adjustments and support in the game.. So that when you control the ball it is less effective to control it. So for that in need of directed and appropriate training. One of them is playing practice, so that players don't get bored while doing practice. A good training model is the Teaching Game for Understanding (TGfU) training model. The purpose of this research is to find out how effective the effect of the Teaching Game for Understanding training model is on the ability to play futsal. This research method uses the experimental method "pretest posttest group design". The subject of this research is the futsal extracurricular club at Pancasila Kubu Raya Vocational School. Data collection using GPAI. Data analysis used the statistical calculation of the Wilcoxon test, previously carried out the normality and homogeneity tests. The tactical game training model with the results of the ability to play futsal obtained a significance value of 0.004 <0.05 so there is already a significant difference. So there is an influence of the teaching game for understanding training model on the ability to play futsal. Keywords: practice playing futsal teaching game for understanding (TGfU.

Abstract

This study aims to provide an overview of the state of physical literacy research in Indonesia and contribute to the global discussion on the development of physical literacy in children. It focuses on: (1) the prevailing themes and focus areas in physical literacy research related to children in Indonesia, (2) how these themes have evolved over time, (3) the dominant methodologies used in these studies, and (4) the gaps and areas identified for future research. The Scopus database was used to select articles containing information on the implementation and impact of physical literacy on children in Indonesia. The search followed the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. After applying exclusion criteria, only seven articles qualified for in-depth analysis. A review of the literature reveals that the development of physical literacy in children requires a planned approach involving a learning model that integrates fundamental motor skills. Evaluation instruments for physical literacy are also crucial, yet only a few adapted instruments have been tested. Moreover, there is currently no specific framework for physical literacy in Indonesia, despite its reliance on the ecological context of a region. This review identifies that research on physical literacy in Indonesia, particularly for children, remains very limited. Considering the critical role of early childhood development for later life, frameworks, assessment instruments, learning models, and programs to enhance physical literacy for children in Indonesia are notably scarce. Future research is expected to focus on these areas

Abstract

Students' academic ability can be improved through integrated learning activities of physical activity and actual gameplay. However, many teachers still have difficulties implementing it in physical education learning. The study investigates the effectiveness of the Teaching Games for Understanding (TGfU) model, implemented through modified Kasti games, in enhancing game understanding among elementary students. Conducted as a pre-experimental study with a one-group pretest-posttest design, it involved 48 fifth-grade students in West Kalimantan, Indonesia. The intervention spanned five sessions and assessed game understanding through the Games Understanding Assessment Instrument (GPAI), focusing on decision-making, skill execution, and covering. Results showed a significant improvement in post-test and post-test scores, with marked progress in each assessed component. The study highlights TGfU's potential in fostering tactical and cognitive skills in physical education for young learners, suggesting that traditional games adapted within this model offer a culturally relevant and effective approach to increasing students' engagement and understanding. Limitations include the absence of a control group and a small sample size, recommending further research to confirm these findings in diverse educational settings.

Abstract

Study purpose. The ability to dribble is a very important skill in soccer, because dribbling skills in soccer aim to be able to pass opponents so that players have the opportunity to provide bait. However, there are still many students who have difficulty in dribbling in soccer games. Materials and methods. This research uses a descriptive method in the form of Classroom Action Research. In this study using a learning tool, namely the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP). The data collection instrument is a test using periodical notes. The subjects in this study were all class XI students of State Senior High School 1, Merau District, Ketapang Regency, totaling 39 students Results. The results showed that there was an increase in cycle I of 25,6%, but this figure was still relatively low, so it was necessary to continue in cycle II. Based on the results in cycle II, it showed that 89.7% of students completed, and there was a difference in the increase in cycle I and cycle II, namely 64.1%. Based on these results, there is an increase in learning outcomes to dribble (soccer) through problem based learning models. Conclusion. The results of this study indicate that the problem based learning model can actually improve the learning outcomes of herding in soccer games. These results can be used as a reference in PJOK learning, especially in big ball game material (soccer).
