Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengaplikasikan Solar Home System (SHS) pada rumah-rumah di Daerah Tambak Ikan Kecamatan Malili Kabupaten Luwu Timur Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan dengan metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dampak SHS, efektifitas SHS, dan tanggapan masyarakat pada rumah-rumah di Daerah Tambak Ikan Kecamatan Malili Kabupaten Luwu Timur Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Variabel penelitian ini adalah variabel tunggal yaitu Solar Home System. Pupulasi penelitian ini adalah 140 orang nelayan tambak Kecamatan Malili dengan sampel 28 orang. Data hasil penelitian didapatkan dengan analisis data observasi untuk keluaran sel surya dan kuesioner untuk angket yang dibagikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; (1) Dampak SHS sangat tinggi yaitu dengan aspek kegunaan sebesar 82,29%. (2) SHS terbukti efektif dengan nilai efisiensi 29% yang dimana melebihi standar 12% - 19% dan kemampuan beban SHS dalam menarik beban lebih besar dari pada penggunaan beban rutinitas rumah-rumah di Daerah Tambak Ikan. (3) Tanggapan masyarakat terhadap SHS sangat tinggi yaitu pada aspek kemudahan pengguna sebesar 82,14% dan aspek kepuasan pengguna sebesar 92,28%.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the results of the design and testing results of ISO 25010 on the application of financial performance information system in the Android-based Dira Jaya Sinar Reski cooperative. This research uses a type of R&D (Research and Development) that uses a waterfall development model. The data collection techniques used are interviews, observations, documentation, and questionnaires/questionnaires. Based on the results of the research, a Financial Performance Information System was developed at the Android-Based Dira Jaya Sinar Reski Cooperative which has been tested using ISO 25010 testing using 4 aspects of testing including functional suitability, usability, performance efficiency, and portability. The final result of the overall assessment is that the financial performance information system in the Dira Jaya Sinar Reski cooperative based on android can be accepted to be used as a medium that makes it easier for the admin of the Dira Jaya Sinar Reski cooperative in Takalar Regency in managing financial data on savings and loans in the Dira Jaya Sinar Reski cooperative in Takalar Regency.

Abstract

Determination of outstanding students is done manually and tends to be subjective. This has shortcomings that cause several problems, namely, it takes a long time and requires energy for manual data processing, then requires extra care and thought in processing student value data. This study aims to produce a decision support system for selecting outstanding students with a matrix normalization process to a scale that can be compared with all existing alternative ratings using ISO 25010 with 8 testing aspects. This development uses the Waterfall model with research steps, namely: 1) Requirement, 2) Design, 3) Implementation, 4) Verification, and 5) Maintenance. In the early stages, researchers seek information related to user needs for the system to be created. Furthermore, the media design is designed based on the results of the needs analysis, after which the media is developed. The final stage is testing. Data collection instruments are conducted through Observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is based on the 8 testing characteristics in ISO 25010. The results of the functional suitability aspect test with a result of 98.6% of the criteria "Very Eligible". Performance efficiency testing with a result of 85.2% of the category grade B which is categorized as "Good". Usability testing of the percentage of user responses with a result of 84% of the criteria "Very Good". The results of the compatibility test show that the system has been successfully run on several versions of the browser well and does not cause problems when accessing the system. The results of the security test show that the system has good security with a grade of B. Based on these data, it can be concluded that the system that has been developed has successfully met 8 aspects of testing using ISO 25010.

Abstract

This study aims to design automatic school bell hardware based on the ATmega32 microcontroller, design automatic school bell software based on the ATmega32 microcontroller using Basic programming language, and test the performance of the automatic school bell based on the ATmega32 microcontroller. This automatic school bell uses a minimum system of ATmega32 microcontrollers which equipped with data input from the push button, LCD to display character output, ISD2560 to output sound, and a timer taken from DS1307 RTC. This research is a Research or Development (R & D) research. This research is carried out through two stages of design. The first stage is the stage of hardware design. The second stage is the stage of software design. Programs are made using the Basic programming language using the Bascom-AVR application. The results of the product were tested using the black box method with two stages. In the first stage, software testing uses a series of simulations on the Proteus 7 Professional application. Abstract

This research aimed to: 1) determine the water discharge and head (fall height) at the Salomekko Dam; 2) assess the potential electrical power that can be generated by the micro-hydro power plant (PLTMH) at the Salomekko Dam; 3) identify the type of turbine suitable for the PLTMH based on the water discharge and head (fall height) at the Salomekko Dam in Salomekko District, Bone Regency. The data collection techniques applied are observation, documentation, and interviews. The data analysis techniques used was theoretical power potential calculations by using the Hydropower Casimir software, based on data from relevant agencies, the central statistics agency, and dam management. The results of this study were: 1) the water discharge per year: Q2021 = 16.623 m³/second, Q2022 = 17.787 m³/second, Q2023 = 18.199 m³/second, H = 13.83 meters; 2) the potential electrical power that can be generated by the Salomekko Dam's PLTMH: P2021 = 1804,22 kW, P2022 = 1930,56 kW, P2023 = 1975,28 kW; 3) the Kaplan turbine was the type of water turbine used for power generation at the Salomekko Dam in Salomekko District, Bone Regency, based on the water discharge and head.

Abstract

This study focuses on the development of an Internet of Things (IoT)-based monitoring system designed to measure and control temperature, humidity, and ammonia gas levels in laying hen cages to enhance environmental management efficiency, animal welfare, and productivity. The research employs a Research and Development (R&D) method using a prototyping model conducted at UD. Ayam Ras Petelur, Gowa Regency, Indonesia. The developed system integrates DHT11, and MQ-135 sensors connected to an Android application via NodeMCU ESP8266 and Firebase, enabling real-time monitoring, visualization, and remote access. Through this integration, farmers can instantly obtain environmental data, receive notifications when parameters exceed safe thresholds, and take immediate corrective actions to maintain optimal conditions for the chickens. Evaluation based on the ISO 25010 quality model shows that the system achieves 100% functional suitability and 92.6% usability, which indicates excellent performance and high practicality for end users. Sensor accuracy testing reveals reliability rates of 97.37% for temperature, 97.83% for humidity, and 95.50% for ammonia gas concentration, confirming the system’s precision and consistency in data measurement. The results demonstrate that the IoT-based monitoring system developed in this study is highly feasible, efficient, and accurate for real-time management of poultry cage environments. Overall, this research contributes to the adoption of smart farming technologies in Indonesia’s poultry industry, promoting data-driven decision-making and sustainable livestock management practices.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and evaluate a fingerprint-based student attendance application using the FPM10A sensor integrated with Arduino and a PHP–MySQL web system at SMK Negeri 2 Luwu. The research employed a Research and Development approach with a waterfall model, and the application quality was assessed based on ISO/IEC 25010 standards covering functional suitability, usability, portability, and maintainability. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The results show that all designed functions were successfully implemented, achieving full functional suitability. Usability testing involving 25 teachers yielded a score of 89.8%, categorized as excellent. The application also operated successfully across multiple browsers, confirming its portability, and demonstrated consistent maintainability through simplicity and error-handling features. The novelty of this research lies in integrating FPM10A–Arduino hardware with a lightweight web application and validating it comprehensively using ISO/IEC 25010 quality characteristics within the vocational school context. The findings contribute to improving attendance efficiency and accuracy while promoting digital transformation in school administration. Future work should include biometric performance metrics (FAR, FRR, EER), mobile platform testing, and security evaluation for biometric data protection.

Abstract

This research is a software development research that aims to create a reading detection system for student thesis in the Department of Informatics and Computer Engineering, Makassar State University using the PHP programming language with the Laravel Framework. The technique used to retrieve data from the web is using CURL from PHP. This study uses a prototype development model with stages: requirements gathering, rapid design, prototype evaluation by users, large-scale design, testing, and system implementation. Data was collected using documentation, observation and questionnaire techniques. The system is validated by two system experts. Data analysis used descriptive statistical analysis techniques. Based on the research results, a system was produced that could be used to check the correctness of documents properly. Based on the test results using the ISO 25010 quality standard, the plagiarism system has met the standards where: (a) The functionality aspect has a value of 1 (Very Good) (b) The performance aspect obtained a performance value of 83.71% (Grade B) and time response 2.2 seconds (Accepted); (c) The portability aspect obtains a portability score of 1 (Very Decent); (d) the usability aspect obtained a usability level of 86.27% (Very Good); (e) The Reliability aspect obtains a proportion per test value of 100%, this indicates that the system being developed has high reliability; (f) Compatibility Aspect This characteristic measures the extent to which a product, system or other component; and (g) Security aspect, the acquisition of test scores from the immune scanner shows that the system security level is at level C so that it can be concluded that the security level of this system is in the Good category. Based on the research results of the TA reasoning selection system based on the Rabin-Karp & Levensthein thesis script of JTIK students after being validated and tested using the ISO 25010 standard, it can be concluded that all aspects tested have met software quality standards. The results of this test have shown the quality assurance of the product being developed so that it can be stated that this system is feasible to use.

Abstract

Teachers at Kiddos Smart School Makassar faced challenges in exploring children's literature and integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology into the creation of digital picture storybooks. This Community Service Program aims to enhance teachers' abilities in creating interactive AI-based learning media in early childhood. The implementation methods include training, workshops, and intensive mentoring on using tools like ChatGPT, Canva Magic Media, and Suno.ai to create digital text, illustrations, and background music. As a result, teachers were able to adapt children's literature elements into engaging digital narratives and improve their technical skills in producing AI-based digital media. This Community Service Program successfully strengthened teachers' capacity to integrate AI technology, which is expected to enhance educational quality and cognitive development in children.

Abstract

Anak-anak masa kini berinteraksi dengan dunia yang dipenuhi inovasi teknologi digital, memerlukan respons yang bijaksana dari dunia pendidikan. Sejak dini, anak-anak terbiasa dengan lingkungan digital, dan memanfaatkan teknologi dalam pembelajaran menjadi kebutuhan mendesak. Pelatihan Aplikasi Flip Album dan Aplikasi Komik di PKBM Ingin Maju bertujuan mengubah paradigma pembelajaran anak-anak melalui integrasi teknologi digital. Metode pelaksanaan yang holistik melibatkan tanya jawab, ceramah, demonstrasi, dan workshop untuk memastikan pemahaman mendalam peserta. Hasil kegiatan mencapai tingkat partisipasi dan pemahaman yang memuaskan, dengan sekitar 80% peserta memahami teori aplikasi. Sesi praktik menunjukkan bahwa sekitar 75% peserta dapat mengaplikasikan aplikasi dengan baik, namun perlu perhatian pada variasi tingkat pemahaman awal. Evaluasi menyiratkan perlunya strategi peningkatan, terutama dalam hal perluasan ruang praktek, pendekatan diferensiasi pembelajaran, dan infrastruktur internet. Kesimpulan menegaskan bahwa PKM telah memberikan dampak positif, namun tantangan masih ada. Saran strategis diberikan untuk mengatasi hambatan dan meningkatkan efektivitas kegiatan di masa depan. Dengan demikian, PKM di PKBM Ingin Maju membawa perubahan signifikan dalam dunia pendidikan anak usia dini, menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan perkembangan anak-anak di era digital.
