The role of the mask has always been related to the socio-cultural life of a society. Mask art is a type of folk art. All people can dance mask art as a form to preserve and maintain the artistic heritage of their ancestors. The basis of this research is to reveal the meaning of a Cirebon mask dance symbol. In this research, the method used is descriptive qualitative as an effort to describe and analyze a phenomenon. From this research, it can be concluded that the Cirebon Mask Dance, which is a symbol of the manifestation (representation) of its supporting community, which is displayed in art performances is not just entertainment but has meaning, aesthetics, visual power, and dynamics of motion in its music.

Dalam literatur tasawuf, manusia baik laki-laki maupun perempuan mempunyai peluang yang setara dalam kesempatan memperoleh maqamat dan ahwal guna menggapai sufi sejati. Dalam pandangan sufisme perempuan memiliki keterlibatan sebagai entitas yang aktif menikmati pengalaman religius intensif dan paling bermakna. Seorang penyair sufi tersebar dalam sejarah yakni Jalaluddin Rumi memberikan interpretasi tentang manusia bahwasanya dalam kacamata tasawuf manusia memiliki jangkauan yang sangat luas di luar fisik. Rumi yang dikenal sebagai seorang sufi yang hamunis, toleran, dan yang selalu menebar buih-buih cinta dalam karya-karyanya dan selalu menjunjung tinggi nilai-nilai perdamaian manusia memiliki pandangan khusus tentang perempuan. Selalu ada ruang bagi perempuan di setiap karya syairnya. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa perempuan di matanya memiliki nilai yang istimewa. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian studi kepustakaan (library research) untuk menelusuri suatu data dan informasi tentang pemikiran maupun yang relevan dengan kajian judul. Hasil kajian ini, ialah membaca pemikiran seorang jalaluddin rumi tentang gender yakni perempuan dalam perspektif sufisme.

Indonesian culture and civilization are supported by soft culture. Nature is so friendly to make the embodiment of Indonesia. The presence of religion and a harmonious state is proof that Indonesia is a peaceful country and free from regional conflicts. In a harmony of religion and state is always colored equal cooperation between the two. Religion has a broad role in realizing national development. Likewise with the State that always involves religious figures and organizations in controlling development. Religion must enlighten its people in order to accept and appreciate the basic values of statehood and the country must be able to protect all religious people. This research uses a library research method by making books and literature materials about religion and the state in Indonesia as references and primary sources in this study. From the results of the study it was concluded that in Indonesia religion and the country are not opposed even conflicted, but fill each other and strengthen, building cool relationships for the good of the people.

Islamic Boarding School as an educational institution makes a great contribution in the field of religion. Education in Islamic Boarding School considers that man is privileged with the ability to think to understand the universe, himself, and the signs of God's majesty. Erich fromm’s view man is actually an organism (living thing) in him there is a process of energy or passions that encourages satisfaction in the around world. If viewed in the perspective of Islamic Boarding School education, santri as a human being who is in an existential dilemma who is experiencing confusion and trying to find a way to overcome the existential problem. More spiritually Islamic Boarding School education is needed and has a role in this problem. Erich Fromm in his Dialectical Humanistic theory gives a view that the man who is in existence has basic needs and character. The purpose of this study is to examine the thinking of erich fromm as a paradigm of human existence that never ceases to be dialectic in the world of reality of its life. The methodology in this research is a library research method, which examines literature sources regarding the thoughts of figures and research objects contained in books, journals, or articles. The results of this study illustrate that humans in this case who pursue islamic boarding school education should be given a guide to be critical in terms of learning or in matters concerning humanity. Because in the view of Dialectical Humanist Theory erich fromm is actually a critical attitude towards human problems, which is to try to relax things that look out of line (opposite) and find solutions. Through education, learners or students will be able to recognize themselves and those around them by understanding their uniqueness.

Islam merupakan agama mayoritas masyarakat Indonesia. Kehadiran Islam telah memberikan warna kehidupan bagi para penganutnya. Namun, menurut para pemikir orientalis, keberadaan agama islam di indonesia muncul bersamaan dengan datangnya agama Kristen dan Katolik pada abad ke-13. Sehingga kerap muncul sebuah pertanyaan dari para ilmuwan, mengapa Indonesia sebagian besar beragama Islam? Oleh karena itu dalam penelitian akan membahas tentang teori-teori yang selama ini merepresentasikan penyebaran Islam di Nusantara. Penggunaan metode kepustakaan (library research) dengan menjadikan buku dan bahan-bahan kepustakaan tentang sejarah Islam di Nusantara sebagai rujukan dan sumber primer dalam penelitian ini. Simpulan dari hasil penelitian bahwa ada lima teori yang dapat dijadikan rujukan tentang perjalanan Islam di tanah air, yaitu Teori Arab, Teori Gujarat, Teori Persia, Teori China dan Analisis mistisisme. Erich Fromm was a psychoanalyst, social theorist, and philosopher. In the course of his life fromm studied about the human personality, therefore fromm in his humanist theory showed his concern for the struggle of the human being who never gave up on obtaining freedom in relation to the human need to relate to others. This study aims to understand the meaning, urgency and nature of human needs in the dialectical humanist psychoanalysis theory of erich fromm as the capital of human self-existence in this world and read the erich fromm framework of thought which is seen as having a great influence on human personality. Using a descriptive analysis approach, the conclusion is that the concept of munusia in the perspective of his theory is viewed as a form of human consciousness. Man has a unique suprabiological nature and is built in human character. Human life is determined by the inevitable alternative between returning to animal existence or arriving at a true human existence.

Kitab Ta’lim Muta’alim karya Imam Jarnuzi menjadi sumber bacaan dan kajian di pesantren dan luar pesantren. Kitab tersebut mengandung ajaran yang bermanfaat bagi santri atau peserta didik dalam mencari ilmu, yaitu adab. Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini mendampingi santri Masjid Al-Ma’had Dukupuntang Kabupaten Cirebon dalam meningkatkan kemampuan baca (maharah qiroah) santri terhadap Kitab Ta’lim Muta’alim. Program ini dilaksanakan selama 40 hari dengan metode bandongan dan amtsilati. Tujuan diadakan PkM ini, selain untuk meningkatkan kemampuan baca santri namun juga memberikan kemampuan dasar gramatika bahasa Arab. Hal ini dimaksudkan untuk memberikan kemudahan santri dalam memahami kandungan kitab Ta’lim Muta’alim. PkM dilaksanakan dengan memberikan pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur keberhasilan pelaksanaan program. Hasil pelaksanaan PkM menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pemahaman dasar nahwu dan sharaf santri meningkat. Peningkatan ini berdampak pada meningkatnya kemampuan baca (maharah qiroah) santri terhadap kitab Ta’lim Muta’alim.

Abstract: Indonesia has a variety of ethnicities, cultures and religions so that it can be called a multicultural country. As a result of these differences, Indonesian society is vulnerable to friction between religious groups. This study aims to describe the idea of the philosophy of religion as the basis for logical thinking and understanding religion universally and comprehensively. The method used in this research is library research, to explore and examine data or information regarding the research discussion. This study concludes that an understanding of religion needs to be based on moderate values as an effort to create harmony between religious communities. Philosophy of religion can be a means of constructive thinking in understanding religion rationally, logically, critically, and deeply so as to create a moderate perspective. The construction of religious moderation values aims to realize a way of thinking that chooses the middle way to realize social harmony and balance, not to behave and think in a radical way in understanding things.Abstrak: Indonesia dengan segala kekayaan yang dimilikinya, mulai dari beragam suku, budaya dan agama menjadikannya negara yang multikultural. Namun Sebagai negara yang memiliki masyarakat yang plural dengan berbagai pemahaman, akan selalu ada gesekan antar kelompok beragama jika kebenaran didikte pada satu kebenaran tunggal atas kelompoknya masing-masing. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan gagasan filsafat agama sebagai landasan berpikir logis dan memahami agama secara mendalam, universal dan komprehensif. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kepustakaan (library research), yang memiliki tujuan yakni menelusuri dan menelaah suatu data atau informasi mengenai bahasan penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa pemahaman tentang agama perlu dilandasi oleh nilai-nilai moderat hal ini sebagai upaya menciptakan keharmonisan antar umat beragama. Filsafat agama dapat menjadi sarana berpikir konstruktif dalam memahami agama secara rasional, logis, kritis, dan mendalam sehingga dapat menciptakan perilaku moderat. Konstruksi nilai-nilai moderasi beragama bertujuan sebagai upaya sikap moderasi dalam beragama dengan sikap memilih jalan pertengahan untuk mewujudkan harmoni sosial dan keseimbangan hidup, tidak berperilaku ekstrim dalam berpikir maupun bertindak

This paper aims to describe the thoughts of the philosopher Herbert Marcuse about the phenomenon of consumerism in contemporary society. The method used is literature research with a philosophical approach. This study finds that there is a paradigm shift in the realm of consumption in the era of contemporary society. According to Marcuse, consumerism in today's society contains a totalitarian logic. The totalitarian tendencies of technology have shaped one-dimensional patterns of thought and behavior. The indication is that society cannot escape the influence and domination of technology. Technology has produced goods in abundance. As a result, the goods produced by the means of production are manipulated and indoctrinated to the needs of individuals in an advanced industrial society.

The world is currently shocked by a new virus, namely severe acute respiratory syndrome corona virus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) or what is known as covid-19. The virus, which was first discovered in Wuhan, China, has claimed thousands of human victims, including in Indonesia. Many things have happened in terms of humanity in this Covid-19 phenomenon. The occurrence of social distancing, solidarity to help each other even excessive concern for the victims of covid-19. Which in the end has an impact on the exclusion and rejection of these covid-19 victims, which should not have happened. According to a German philosopher, Erich Fromm. In his humanist psychoanalytic theory, Erich Fromm, basically humans under any circumstances have social attachments in the form of love and cooperation with others.
