Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan sistem informasi berbasis QR Code guna mendukung digitalisasi informasi tanaman biofarmaka di Taman Jamu PT Naturindo Fresh. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan tahapan pengembangan sistem menggunakan model waterfall. Hasil dari sistem ini berupa website yang terintegrasi dengan QR Code, yang dapat dipindai oleh pengunjung untuk mengakses informasi detail dari setiap tanaman biofarmaka seperti nama ilmiah, klasifikasi taksonomi, manfaat, kandungan aktif, dan cara pengolahan. Pengujian sistem dilakukan dengan metode black box testing dan menunjukkan bahwa seluruh fungsi sistem berjalan dengan baik sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna. Sistem ini berhasil meningkatkan efektivitas penyampaian informasi dan mendukung edukasi publik di taman eduwisata tersebut.

Abstract

Regenerative bicycle trainers support more sustainable indoor cycling by converting a rider’s kinetic energy into electrical energy while producing a controllable resistive load. For a realistic riding feel, the relationship between commanded braking current and pedal torque must be accurately defined. This study develops and validates an empirical current-torque model for a trainer based on a brushless direct current (BLDC) motor using a second-order polynomial. Experiments were conducted on two sprocket configurations (32-tooth and 12-tooth), with 11 braking current setpoints ranging from 0 to 10 A under steady-state conditions. The model was evaluated through its inverse form using five torque setpoints for each configuration. Results show strong agreement with experimental data, with coefficients of determination ( ) exceeding 0.998. The 12T configuration achieves higher accuracy, with a Mean Percentage Error of 1.55%, compared to 9.20% for the 32T configuration. This is likely due to improved torque transmission and more stable friction drive behaviour at higher loads. Negative quadratic coefficients indicate mild nonlinearities consistent with magnetic saturation. The model is suitable for feedforward control, enabling realistic torque simulation without requiring expensive external torque sensors.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui produktivitas, pendapatan dan kelayakan usahatani padi sehat yang merupakan salah satu program yang dikembangkan untuk mendukung ketahanan pangan kabupaten Sleman. Penelitian dilakukan di kecamatan Kalasan, yang merupakan salah satu wilayah lokasi pelaksanakan program pengembangan usaha budidaya padi sehat kabupaten Sleman. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasi dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif untuk menganalisis produktivitas, pendapatan, dan kelayakan usahatani padi sehat. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah petani anggota kelompok tani yang sampai dengan saat pelaksanaan penelitian secara konsisten menerapkan usahatani padi sehat sebanyak 12 orang dengan rincian yaitu petani desa Purwomartani yang menerapkan usahatani padi sehat selama 2 tahun sebanyak 4 orang, petani desa Tirtomartani yang menerapkan usahatani padi sehat selama 3 tahun sebanyak 4 orang, petani desa Tamanmartani yang menerapkan usahatani padi sehat selama 4 tahun sebanyak 4 orang, dan petani yang menerapkan usahatani padi konvensional dari ketiga desa masing-masing sebanyak 4 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Produktivitas usahatani padi sehat secara bertahap meningkat, secara berurutan produktivitas usahatani padi sehat tahun kedua, ketiga dan keempat adalah 5,58 t/ha; 5,73 t/ha; dan 7,28 t/ha. Produktivitas usahatani padi sehat tahun keempat lebih tinggi dari produktivitas yang dicapai usahatani padi konvensional sebesar 5,94 t/ha, 2) Pendapatan usahatani padi sehat secara bertahap meningkat, secara berurutan pendapatan usahatani padi sehat tahun kedua, ketiga dan keempat adalah Rp 15.855.553,75; Rp19.818.937,50; dan Rp 45.806.191,51.  Pendapatan usahatani padi sehat tahn keempat lebih tinggi dari pendapatan yang dicapai usahatani padi konvensional sebesar Rp 25.443.277,78 dan 3) Nilai R/C usahatani padi sehat secara bertahap meningkat, secara berurutan nilai R/C usahatani padi sehat tahun kedua, ketiga dan keempat adalah 1,86; 2,41; dan 5,26. Nilai R/C usahatani padi sehat tahun keempat lebih tinggi dari nilai R/C yang dicapai usahatani padi kenvensional sebesar 2,93. Dengan nilai R/C >1 maka usahatani padi sehat menguntungkan dan layak dikembangkan.

Abstract

Permasalahan sampah berkaitan erat dengan aktivitas rumah tangga, khususnya limbah organik yang belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis determinan minat Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) dalam pemanfaatan limbah rumah tangga organik menjadi pupuk. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada November 2025 hingga April 2026 di KWT Puspa Asri, Desa Karanganom, Kabupaten Klaten, menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan sampling jenuh dari 30 responden. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner, lalu dilakukan analisis secara deskriptif dan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan minat anggota tergolong tinggi, namun keterlibatan praktik masih perlu ditingkatkan. Faktor internal dan eksternal berpengaruh terhadap minat anggota secara simultan. Secara parsial, hanya persepsi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan, umur menunjukkan arah negatif, sedangkan pendidikan nonformal, motivasi, peran kelompok, akses teknologi informasi dan komunikasi, serta sarana dan prasarana tidak berpengaruh signifikan. Oleh karena itu, peningkatan minat dan regenerasi perlu dilakukan melalui penyuluhan, praktik langsung, dan pendampingan agar kegiatan dapat berjalan dengan rutin dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to identify and analyze the internal and external factors that influence farmers’ interest in using Trichoderma sp. as a biological control agent for chili cultivation in Giritirto Village, Purwosari Subdistrict, Gunung Kidul. Methodology: This study used a quantitative approach with purposive and random sampling methods. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Instrument testing employed Microsoft Excel. Data analysis included validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression using SPSS software to assess the influence of various independent variables. Main Findings: The study found that farmers' interest in using Trichoderma sp. was generally high. Among the factors examined, the role of extension workers and the availability of facilities and infrastructure had a significant positive effect on farmers' interest. In contrast, age, education level, and farming experience did not have a significant influence on their interest in adopting Trichoderma sp.. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study uniquely explores the socio-demographic and institutional factors influencing farmers’ interest in adopting Trichoderma sp., which has rarely been addressed in previous research. It provides new insights into the human dimension of sustainable agriculture adoption, offering practical implications for policy and extension strategies to promote environmentally friendly farming practices.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pengembangan produk, memperoleh alternatif metode pengeringan dan jenis kemasan yang tepat dalam menghasilkan produk bumbu bubuk bawang putih Bomboeris yang disukai konsumen berdasarkan metode value engineering. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober hingga Maret 2026 di PT Ginteanc Sari Roso, Kecamatan Banguntapan, Kabupaten Bantul, Provinsi DIY. Pemilihan lokasi penelitian ini dilakukan secara purposive sampling, pengambilan sampel menggunakan accidental sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan studi literatur, eksperimen, kuesioner,kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan skala likert untuk mengetahui tingkat kesukaan calon konsumen dan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode value engineering. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan proses pengembangan produk bumbu bubuk bawang putih Bomboeris menggunakan metode value engineering dilakukan dengan tahap informasi, tahap kreatif, tahap analisis, tahap pengembangan, dan tahap rekomendasi. Alternatif metode pengeringan dan jenis kemasan yang terbaik berdasarkan metode value engineering dalam menghasilkan produk bumbu bubuk bawang putih Bomboeris yang disukai konsumen adalah alternatif peringkat 1 dengan metode pengeringan menggunakan food dehydrator melalui metode foam mat drying dengan lama pengeringan 3,5 jam pada suhu 60 °C dan menggunakan jenis kemasan standing pouch

Abstract

The gummy candy training using blacksapote fruit is part of a community empowerment strategy to support the Kampung Buah horticultural program in Karangmojo Hamlet, Sleman. This activity aims to improve the knowledge, attitude, and technical skills of members of the Women's Farmer Group (KWT) Tunas Harapan in processing blacksapote into high-value products. The method used is direct demonstration and hands-on practice, supported by PowerPoint, leaflets, and real materials. Evaluation was conducted using Kirkpatrick’s four-level model and the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results showed improvements in knowledge (31.2%), attitude (13.9%), and skills (90.5%). The Wilcoxon test revealed a significant difference (p < 0.05) in all aspects. Therefore, this training proved effective in increasing the capacity of female farmers in horticultural product processing and serves as a potential model for local-based community empowerment.

Abstract

Indonesia has substantial potential for the development of biopharmaceutical crops, including turmeric (Curcuma domestica Val.), which is widely used as a raw material in the herbal industry. However, the declining demand for dried turmeric simplicia indicates a mismatch between the characteristics of the products offered and consumer preferences. This study aimed to analyze consumer preferences for dried turmeric simplicia attributes using conjoint analysis. The study was conducted using a full-profile approach by distributing questionnaires to 40 respondents, consisting of home industry business actors, micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), and herbal industries. The analyzed attributes included price, moisture content, payment system, and color. The data were analyzed to obtain the utility value and relative importance of each attribute. The results showed that price was the most influential attribute in consumer decision-making, followed by payment system, moisture content, and color. The most preferred attribute combination was dried turmeric simplicia with a moisture content of <8%, a price of IDR 35,000.00-40,000.00, full upfront payment, and bright yellow color. Consumer preferences for dried turmeric simplicia were multidimensional and influenced by a combination of product attributes. Therefore, producers are advised to implement quality standardization and competitive pricing strategies to improve the market competitiveness of dried turmeric simplicia.

Abstract

The SOP was developed based on the PDCA method by referring to the 2011 Guidelines for Post-Harvest Handling Technology of Medicinal Plants issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and the 2015 Guidelines for Post-Harvest Handling of Medicinal Plants issued by the Ministry of Health. This study aimed to implement the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) method in the design of a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for post-harvest handling of ginger (Zingiber officinale) to improve the quality of ginger simplicia at Sabda Rempah MSME. This study used a one-factor completely randomized design (CRD), namely drying temperature and duration, consisting of four treatments: 70 °C for 6 h, 40 °C for 9 h, 50 °C for 9 h, and 60 °C for 9 h. Each treatment was repeated three times, resulting in 12 experimental units. The differences between ginger post-harvest handling with and without SOP implementation were found in the wet sorting, draining, and dry sorting stages. The results showed differences in moisture content between ginger simplicia processed with and without the SOP. Ginger simplicia processed using the SOP had a moisture content of 9.47%, whereas ginger simplicia processed without the SOP had a moisture content of 13.86%. Sensory evaluation showed that ginger simplicia processed with the SOP had better color, aroma, and texture than those processed without the SOP. Moisture content data were analyzed using ANOVA, followed by Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT) when significant differences were found. In addition, a paired samples t-test was used to compare moisture content between the treatment without SOP at 70 °C for 6 h and the treatment with SOP at 60 °C for 9 h. The implementation of a PDCA-based SOP was proven to improve the quality of ginger simplicia.
