Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to examine the effect of work discipline, work motivation, and work ethic on the performance of private employees in Bandar Lampung. The population of this research consists of private employees in Bandar Lampung, with a sample size of 140 employees. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, based on Hair's formula (2017). The data analysis methods applied include multiple linear regression analysis, the coefficient of determination (R²), t-test, and F-test. The results of the study indicate that the variables of work discipline, work motivation, and work ethic each have a positive and significant influence on the performance of private employees in Bandar Lampung.

Abstract

This paper delves into the exploration of the coprime graph of a finite group G, a graph with vertices representing all group elements. Vertices x and y are considered adjacent in ΓG if their orders are relatively prime. Specifically, our focus lies in determining essential topological indices: the first Zagreb index, the second Zagreb index, and the Wiener index of the coprime graph associated with the group of integers modulo n. The groups under consideration in this study are those of integers modulo n, where n takes the form of prime power and multiplication of two prime powers, with p and q representing distinct prime numbers and r and s representing natural numbers. This investigation aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the structural and numerical properties of the coprime graph within the context of finite groups, shedding light on the intricate relationships between group elements and their algebraic properties.

Abstract

Kumbung Mas Tugi Mushroom Farm faces challenges in maintaining the stability of the oyster mushroom cultivation environment due to the manual water spraying method. This conventional practice causes fluctuations in temperature and humidity, thereby risking a decrease in harvest productivity. The objective of this study was to design and implement an Internet of Things (IoT)-based automatic condensation system to maintain microclimate stability inside the shed. The method applied was the design of a prototype using six AHT10 temperature and humidity sensors, each of which was controlled by an ESP32-C3 microcontroller and transmitted data wirelessly via the ESP-NOW protocol to a central server. The implementation results showed significant changes in the object where the system was able to work optimally and responsively. This system successfully maintained environmental stability consistently by automatically activating the pump when the average temperature exceeded 29°C and humidity was below 80%. Additionally, sensor accuracy testing demonstrated highly valid data, with an average temperature accuracy of 99.2% and humidity accuracy of 98.7%. In conclusion, this automation system successfully achieved the project's objectives by providing an effective solution for maintaining environmental stability and enabling convenient remote monitoring for farmers.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of work discipline on employee performance with compensation as a moderating variable at Marcopolo Hotel, Bandar Lampung. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected via questionnaires and analyzed with SmartPLS 4. Results show that work discipline positively and significantly affects both compensation and employee performance, while compensation also significantly influences performance. Furthermore, compensation strengthens the relationship between work discipline and performance. An R-Square value of 0.510 indicates that work discipline and compensation together explain 51% of the variance in employee performance.

Abstract

This study examines how price perception and product quality affect Generation Z consumer satisfaction with The Body Shop in Bandar Lampung. Using a quantitative explanatory survey with purposive sampling, data were collected from 100 Gen Z respondents and analyzed using multiple linear regression. Results show that price perception negatively impacts satisfaction, while product quality has a positive and more dominant effect. Both variables significantly influence satisfaction. The findings suggest that The Body Shop should focus on maintaining product quality, particularly sustainability and ethical values, while implementing competitive pricing strategies to enhance Gen Z satisfaction and loyalty.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of work discipline and compensation on employee performance at Radisson Hotel Lampung amid industry pressures in 2025. The objective is to analyze the partial and simultaneous influence of both variables on performance. A quantitative causal survey was conducted using questionnaires distributed to 98 employees selected through census sampling. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS. The results indicate that work discipline and compensation have positive and significant effects on employee performance, with compensation showing a more dominant influence. The findings imply that integrating consistent discipline policies and strategic compensation systems enhances organizational performance sustainability.
